Ink Disciples Tattoo Parlor

Came in yesterday for friday the 13th and had two tattoos done by Jeff. He did an amazing job. He let me know one of the tats I wanted was a bit too small and overtime would not look so great so made it bigger for me without changing the price. He also added his own spin on the teeth I got done making them his own. Definitely will be coming back to get more done by him. He does an amazing job

I was very pleased with my experience at Ink Disciples. I got my tattoo done by Hailey and it came out really nice. It was a small tattoo that needed someone with steady hands to draw the fine lines. I went to see Hailey for a tattoo. My cat recently passed away and she tattooed his paw prints on me. Perfect doesn’t even begin to describe how this tattoo came out! I am absolutely in love and wouldn’t change a single thing.The shop was lovely; and Hailey was kind, professional, and made a really difficult tattoo(emotionally) such a pleasant experience.I have a ton of tattoos and I can honestly say she has one of the most gentle hands and the actual tattoo process was super comfortable.12/10 recommended.

Had a life like tattoo of a pet that passed that meant as much to me as my kids do and as a result of his passing I found Christ and was baptized so I needed to have him on my arm and as real as possible and Hailey knocked it out of the park..he looks so real and when I look at him it looks like he’s looking back at me. Hailey was fantastic she was so professional and accommodating she reversed the picture and added a different dog tag which made a huge difference. This was the best experience I’ve ever had and would recommend Hailey and the Ink Disciples shop to anyone considering a tattoo. Great job!!!!

Jerry did an amazing job on my piece. Better than I could have expected!- I had to add to this review. I know that a rose is probably cliche or boring for most tattoo artists, but Jerry still made it unique to me. Helped me pick out a specific rose design so it wasn’t a generic rose, and included me in the design portion. He is extremely talented and it’s better than I imagined.

FIRST tattoo & Jerry was amazing from start to finish. He was so easy going/laid back & made the experience a good one which I was nervous about. I had found some of his work on social media & it was a cover up tattoo he had done that made me want to use him. It was phenomenal! I have recommended him to any one who listens & will even drop drawers to show off his work! LOL He’s definitely worth it! (Pic is right after it was finished, he did mention it would lighten a bit)

I took my niece to get her first tattoo the day after she turned 18. The artists were professional, efficient, and clean. My niece and I got matching tattoos. They turned out beautifully. I will be going back to this shop again.

My first tattoo at 60! I was quite nervous so many options-indecisiveness ! lol Hailey was very sweet and patient ,she did an excellent job! I’m very pleased- healed well and looks awesome. Many compliments on her line work.

My brother and I were looking for a place to get these tattoos done but didn’t know where to go so we looked around for about a month to see who we thought was good and who did the best work, we ended up finding ink disciples and went to see how much the tattoos would cost or how long they would take. We spoke to Jerry (the owner) and he gave us a price easy and quick and then had us come to the shop the next day to set up an appointment and we spoke to Hailey. Hailey did a great job on these tattoos with what little Information she had in the tattoos but she ended up doing her own research to find exactly what way they should look and what way her design would look like and everything turned out beautifully. If you need something done this is definitely the place to go. Yes those are Naruto designs and characters lol

My mom and I wanted to get matching tattoos today. I texted the ph # from their website. The owner Jesse, answered me quickly. 30 mins later we were at the tattoo shop. Our artist was Jeff. We showed him pics of what we wanted. He gave us some professional advice on what he would recommend and stressed that he would do whatever we wanted. We went with his advice. The tattoo shop is open and airy. Very clean.Jesse even gave us each a t-shirt.Our artist, Jeff did a great job. We love our tattoos.I cant figure out how to post the pics. We called the number, and was texted later on April 23rd. We specifically asked for an appointment for April 29th as it was my daughters 21st birthday and all she wanted was a tattoo for her birthday. We were told to come at noon on the 29th, yet when we showed up we were accused of not having an appointment and told that all of the tattoo artists were out doing their taxes. Horrible business practice. Still have the screen shots of the texts that we did in fact ask for an appointment that we were accused of not having.

Fiancé got tattooed by Hailey as a walk in and Hailey blew our expectations out of the water.Hailey took her time to reassure my fiancé that she takes no offense in moving or redoing the sketch so that shes Satisfied.Although my fiancé has only been tattooed by one other artist she can not stop talking about how much lighter Haileys hand is making the tattoos almost painless (tattos were in the same location).We were both impressed by her line work and shading. We will definitely come back and continue to get work done by Hailey.

Got my first tattoo here about a year ago from Hailey and just got my 4th yesterday, a half sleeve. Hailey is great and spends extra time to make sure she understands what you want. She is an excellent artist! The shops has many talented artists that can make your tattoo envision reality. The shop is clean and comfortable, I highly recommend!

Giving 2 stars only because the art work from owner Jerry is amazing. Definitely a master at his craft. BUT that is not the issue. I went in and got 2 amazing tattoos done by Jerry. I went back in to finish the filler in which we didn’t finish because my arm started to break out and he wanted to finish when there was no breakout which is totally cool! We set up an appointment and everything was good. He then cancelled on me because he was going on vacation…. Again that’s okay things happen. This is where the issues start: He then told me I couldn’t re schedule over the phone and that I had to come into the shop to do so… when I’m not the one that cancelled. Not only that… he attempted to get me to pay another deposit for an appointment that was already started and stopped and then re scheduled by Jerry. An appointment in which I already paid in full, we just had to stop early due to a breakout. If you want good work Jerry will give it to you… but at the cost of what’s listed above. Really sad to see great artists wirh massive talent treat clients as if they and their money does not matter.

It was a pleasant experience coming here. The environment is clean - plenty of parking and friendly staff. My artist Hailey did an amazing job on my tattoo. I was really impressed on the amount of detail she was able to get into a relatively small amount of space. I would def recommend her!

I decided to get a tattoo one random day earlier this week and met with one of this establishment newer artist, Tam. She has a chill personality and yet you can tell shes serious about her art. It was a really chill experience and her work was exactly what I wanted. I think I found my new spot for Modesto and will be seeing Tam for some additional work in the near future.

Got my first tattoo done here by Jerry, its a pretty sizeable piece. Came out amazing he was really insightful helped make sure i wanted exactly what i was getting. Other than that the shop has very positive enviornment everyone is very welcoming and excited to be there.

The only tattoo shop I go to in Modesto the environment is great they always make you feel welcomed. The artists are great I have had work done a few times by Jerry which is always a pleasure he is such a talented artist and today I got to have one of the shops new artists Tam give me a tattoo. We took our daughter to have her septum pierced. The owner was amazing, knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely recommend this shop.

$150 shop minimum. After unwrapping it, noticed lines were faint and the matching tattoos didnt match. $300 total for both of these that only took about 20 minutes each to tattoo. This was done by a guest artist.UPDATE: Spoke with the owner, Jerry, and he was able to resolve my complaint. Once completely healed we will have a session to fix both tattoos. He was honest and apologetic. He understands the importance of customer service and working with his clients.2nd UPDATE: Tattoo was never fixed. Had an appointment but something came up for the artist. I completely understand life happens. Another artist said he could do it the following day after his morning appointment. I text the artist the following day and he said he was still with his client. I asked him to text me when he was free....that was October of 2021. Went elsewhere to have it fixed finally.

Ink Disciples has always been the cleanest tattoo shop that I’ve been into. When you go in everything looks and smells clean. Jerry has done my tattoos for over two years now and everywhere I go people are asking who did my work and for their Instagram or phone number. He definitely takes pride in all the work that he does and everything has looked better than expected. Everyone in the shop is very personable and I enjoy my time in the shop with all of them. He’s helped me decide on some art as and the placement when I was unsure and shared his perspective of why he would move it to a certain area. He definitely has his customers in mind and wants what’s best for them and for them to be more than satisfied when they leave the shop that day. Ever since I’ve came to Ink Disciples I haven’t looked at getting tattoos anywhere else. As long as Ink Disciples is around I won’t be getting tattooed anywhere else.

Jerry, and his crew over at ink disciples tattoo shop are the best around. The whole crew is extremely experienced in all forms of tattooing. The shop vibe is super chill, very friendly, and very very clean. All ages will love the vibe. Jerry, the owner just finished my sleeve, and let me tell you it’s amazing. He is the best in the Buisness. He doesn’t have a heavy hand at all. His line work, shading ect ect are on a different level. His prices are very reasonable also. I will not go to another artist . If your looking for the best shop around please stop by ink disciples on McHenry ave, next to billiards hall. You will not be disappointed in the work you get by any of the artist who work there. I showed up at scheduled appointment time at 5. Jerry Phillips wasn’t ready and Seemed surprised to see me. He couldn’t tell me when I should return and then when I returned 7 still wasn’t ready for me and was very rude like I did something wrong by showing up to my appointment. My tattoo three years ago wasn’t great but returned anyway. Only to be approached my this! Ridiculous!

An absolutely amazing tattoo with Martin

Jerry is a nothing but a liar and a thief. I made a trade with him for some work on me and he set up an appointment for 10:00 AM the next day. He knew I had to be in the Bay Area that day at 3:00 PM but he never showedAfter I called him several times he finally answered and said he was having breakfast with his bible study group and said he would be right there. Well he didnt show again and text me saying he had to work with thr kids in West Modesto. I told him I would need the bayonet back and he said he would send it to me. So if you go in his shop it is hanging on his wall. A real Christian there. YEA RIGHT!!
