NO ONE SHOULD COMPLAIN ABOUT THIS ESTABLISHMENT....this is a very reputable tattoo company. I got my tattoo in May of 1995 !!! So this place has been in business before I walked in and my tattoo will be 30 years old this coming May and looks just as fabulous as the day I got it. They are outstanding, clean, HONEST AND STRAIGHT FORWARD IN COMMUNICATION. When you have a great experience and it leaves such an impression on you after all these years and you bring your own son for his tattoo and wait happily, you witness business in action. Customers walk in, how they are greeted, how they say what they want and are told the reason they cant get it...no lies, if your conch is to small or the area just isnt right for whatever reason. They dont say, yeah, sure, well do it just to take your money. They explain, everyone who had something done the day I was waiting was very, very happy with what they requested. Sitting for nearly 3 hours I witness quite a bit right in front of my face. About 9 customers spur of the moment with their buddies and 2 that called prior. No matter whom you deal with here, professional and gracious. Mine (rose) & my sons (shield) 3 days old. I came to see Tristan, he was really easy to deal with and made me feel comfortable right away. He has a bunch of amazing flash and I chose a Geisha tattoo for myself, it came out amazing and I will be back. Highly recommend!

Weak customer service and weak atmosphere. Body language and communication says a lot. I didnt mind paying 220 for an overpriced small tattoo. Once I was told they only accept cash and I told them Ill go somewhere else to withdraw was just a sign to spend my money somewhere else where I was welcomed. Maybe if I wasnt black I would have gotten more of a warmer welcome and not many second looks. Energy is a MF.

This place is AMAZING. I’ve had two beautiful tattoos done here, one by Peter and one by Nico. They’re all professional but very kind and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!!!

I have been going to Powerhouse now for about 6ish years and they are my go to for all my tattoos, I cannot talk enough about how much I love their work. From custom to flash, they kill it every time. Everyone in the shop is welcoming and are amazing to work with. Eddie has done some of my favorite pieces and I get compliments on the ALL the time. Dont go anywhere else, they have someone at Powerhouse for everything you can think of. All the tattoos pictured below are by Eddie.

The best customer service ever. my friend and i decided randomly to get our belly pierced, we called, the lovely front desk lady told us how much, we came. they treated us so well, so nice, clean , friendly and this lovely guy name cam took care of my friend and I!!! he DID AN amazing JOB!!!! didnt hurt at all and the next day i totally forgot i got my belly pierced thats how amazing he did. please go to them!!! Amazing people! Definitely getting more piercing and tattoos there!!!!!!

I got my septum here and number one the piercer is absolutely amazing, and number two he has helped me with issues that i had with my other piercings that have not been done here. both services he has been amazing with and i will be coming back here for more!

Me and my wife went to get ear piercings done. Smooth process. Walked in and Joey pierced our ears. Did a great job. We thought they use a hun but instead it was a needle and got done really quick. He explained everything at every step.Clean place and job well done. Totally recommended.

I absolutely loved this place. Me and my partner was a walk in and we didn’t know what to expect. Joey was our piercer and I’m so glad I had the pleasure to get pierced by this man. Came here for a nose piercing, and it was quick and easy. I just filled the parking meter with quarters, and I was all set.Called in advance ideally for pricing. $70 for the nose piercing and $4 added for jewelry surgical steel. Came out to $74.69 reasonable pricing to me and lots of after care instructions, which I appreciated.Clean and protect shop. Definitely will return to add some new ink once I review portfolios.

Joey has pierced my nose and earlobe. Both went great. He is so communicative and kind. I was really nervous about my nose piercing—it is my face after all—but be made me super comfortable.I had previously had my second earlobe hole pieced, but I let it fill in. Joey pierced it in exactly the same spot with minimal discomfort. He also helped me pick out the best jewelry and was just generally patient and kind. Highly recommend.

Great experience! Went in to re-pierce my navel and add 3rd holes to lobes. Joey, the piercer, also re-did one of my other lobe holes. He was excellent! Quick, clean & very professional!

My friend and I walked in and were seen right away. Joey was super knowledgeable and kind. I’ve been coming here since I was 16. The service is always amazing. The artists here are super friendly and professional!!! Tonight I went by and got 5 piercings done by Mick, he was wonderful great attitude very passionate about piercing as well as the beautiful jewelry he uses. It’s always a pleasureUpdate: i just got a keloid from my ear removed by Mick, I had wonderful experience it was absolutely painless. The procedure went by super fast would recommend Mick 100%. I also recently received my second tattoo from the amazing Anna she does beautiful work! ☺️

I had my conch piercing jewelry switched out because the existing piercing was aggravated. The employee who helped me was wonderful. She removed my jewelry and replaced it. She was very kind and fun to chat with. Highly recommend for piercings/piercing care.

I’m really happy with the piercings I got at Power House! Joey was very friendly and professional. I was impressed with his experience and knowledge and I appreciated how informative and transparent he was throughout the process. He helped me to decide what ear piercings would work best for my anatomy. Just had the most amazing piercing experience with Joey! He is so patient and knowledgeable. He helped me curate several piercings, explained every step of the process, and fixed a piercing that was done incorrectly by another establishment in Montclair. Today my friend and I went to get our nose piercings redone. For my experience, my nose piercing hole was closed and I got it re-done again. Joey was amazing!!! Got my very first piercing(septum) here today!! Very lovely staff, Mick was especially so kind and helpful for when I had initially walked in. I was so nervous but thankfully, he had taken the time to sit down with me and explain the process. He had helped me pick out a nice piece of quality jewelry and taught me how to take care of my new piercing. The environment is clean, sanitary, and overall was super COVID safe. I don’t have a way with words to explain how great of an experience I had here, but I HIGHLY recommend going here for piercing, especially if you’re new!

This place is wonderful. Before I made an appointment for my piercing, I did so much research. However, it helped that the piercer, Mick, had a plethora of knowledge himself. He answered all the questions I had and even talked me through the entire experience. I was nervous but he assured me everything would be okay. The area I wanted pierced was a sensitive one but with his care, it wasnt as nerve wracking as it could have been and he really put my mind at ease. I appreciate his experience in body modification because it made my experience feel less stressful. Overall a wondeful experience.UPDATE:I went back to stretch my nipple piercings. Most of the decision was based on feeling, but the other part of it was due to my experience with Mick. I was greeted in the same, friendly manner and he was just as professional as last time. He made sure to show me what he was using, cleaning his tools in front of me and managed to make me feel comfortable. The best part about it is that his knowledge and comfort made my experience better. Overall he’s awesome and I can’t wait to continue going to him.

I am truly speechless to describe how awesome this place is! When I called they were super accommodating to my million and one questions! Then I came in and was greeted kindly and was seen right away! I had got an industrial piercing and an extra lobe piercing and when I tell you this was the best experience ever! He gave me a piercing super quick and just a small pinch! Mick was the person who did my piercing and it was done with the upmost care and precision! Everything is super clean as well! Overall they will forever have my business and I am so excited to come back! They also throw in an after care sea salt piercing cleaning spray as well! I decided to get my tragus re-pierced with Joey, he was kind, professional, and very knowledgeable! I appreciated the fact that he kept everything clean and used sterile equipment. The experience was painless and quick! It went so well that I returned and had my second lobes pierced as well.Cons: front staff was not as professional and I find it inconvenient that the only method of payment is cash. Otherwise, I highly recommend Joey for piercings!

Had a great experience yesterday at Power House for piercings! The shop was clean and the staff was safe with covid related precautions. I worked with Mick on picking out the jewelry, such a great selection! He took time to help me decide on placement and what pieces would look best where. I had my nose pierced as well as my upper helix and upper earlobe. Everything looks great and Im definitely excited to go back!

I had an incredible experience getting tattooed by Kyle J. at Powerhouse. Kyle was so kind and attentive and took time to really make our agreed-upon design exactly what I wanted. His whole process as both an artist and tattooer is super thoughtful; you can tell he cares tremendously about his work and his clients. I got Poked by Mick and Tattooed by DreI had a wonderful experience at Power House Tattoo. I was a walkin and got 3 piercing from Mick. I had my one Rook and Tragus on both ears done. Mick took the time to walk me through the types of piercings and the after care for proper healing. He made me feel very comfortable, and I trusted him. He has a wide range of jewelry to select from and helped me make the right decisions based on what I could afford. Needless to say my piercings look wonderful and I am extremely happy and will be going back for a couple more piercings. Thank you MickA week later on the referral of Mick I got my tattoo done by Dre. I did a drawing a few years ago after the passing of my sister. She loved hamsas. And so I did a drawing of a hamsa with hearts. I sent the drawing to Dre and gave him artistic license to do whatever he felt was best. 🤯 the concept he came up with was beyond my expectations. I Love my tattoo!! Brilliant ole Chap. I’ll be back for a few more tattoos.

Came here today and got pierced by Mick! Ive been going to Powerhouse for a while now and they have always been so good. So clean, professional, super calm and chill. Mick explained the whole process, showed me each instrument he was going to use, was very calm and kind about everything. He was thorough with explaining the aftercare of the piercings I got and was able to answer all of my questions. If you want a piercing, come here. Mick is awesome and the service always gets a 10/10 from me. Highly recommended.

I went to Mick for a septum pierce, and ended up getting a flat helix as well. ☺️ He was very nice and patient with me when choosing a piece, and he’s very informative with the industry. He doesn’t rush through, and he made me feel calm and relaxed. I will definitely be going back to him for another helix. There aren’t that many piercers that are people friendly like Mick. I definitely recommend getting pierced by him.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Joey. He was so helpful with my double piercings. He was able to simply open up a second hole I thought had closed and made sure my third holes were even depite my ears being slightly asymmetrical. His motto is “measure twice, cut once” and it shows in his thoughtful and considerate approach. He also educated me on what kind of earrings are best—and which will cause a reaction. Powerhouse also has a beautiful collection of high-end jewelry.

I got some ear piercings done by Mick. Such an easy experience. He talked me through the entire process, answered all of my questions knowledgeably to the point where I was able to just sit back and trust that I was getting taken care of by a true professional. I came here after having an issue with another tattoo place in Montclair. I called on a Friday and the receptionist was so perky and nice. She was able to fit me in before my work shift the next day. The piercer who helped me was Joey, and he was eager to answer any questions I had. He was very honest and recommended only studs for nose piercings (he said hoops will cause the nose piercing to heal weird and too much use of a hoop will cause the stud to not sit right). He even helped me pick out which stud would look the cutest on my nose! He gave the best advice, and really took the time out of his day to answer my questions (and it was a lot of questions). Highly recommend him and the place itself!

Joey is the best! He helped me with a swollen piercing and saved every piercing I had. He is a true professional and moving forward I would not get pierced by anyone else. Joey cares about his clients and will give you honest and helpful advice. Love him!

I came unto the shop today (02/11/23 @12 p.m.). I recently got my upper lobe pierced at a different location.Ive been experiencing alot of pain and swelling in the ear. I walked in to this location for a second opinion. The gentleman that was there was very kind and patient.He actually took the time out to assess my ear, put on gloves and readjusted the earing that was too tight with the swelling. Something I could not do because the earing back was too tight and painful to touch. Remind you, I did not get my ear pierced here or no other service, but he took the time to assist me.After about an hour, the pain has subsided to the point in which I no longer need round the clock ibuprofen.He advised me to return for a higher quality earing in two weeks. Thanks! (I will update when I get the name of the tattoo artist)

I got my ear pierced by Joey and he is the dopest and sweetest dude ever. He did it so quick and easy and was super helpful starting from the check in process all the way until the aftercare of my piercing. Only reason I am giving this review of 2 stars is because of the lady who sits in the front of the shop has a very bad attitude and terrible customer service skills.

Mick is seriously hands down the most amazing person ever! i suffer with bad anxiety & i came to get my nose pierced because i always wanted it. he’s the most comforting, calming, amazing sweet man! literally coming back here & telling everyone to go here. it was fast, painless , and very clean! :)

Went about 2 months ago for a daith piercing, it was an awesome experience. Mick, the piercer was very knowledgeable, reassuring, and professional. I went back about a month ago and got two more piercings (mid helix, and upper helix), and again, Mick was amazing! I would recommend going to see Mick if your interested in a new piercing, and or curating your ears!

I just got a second soft lobe piercing with Mick and he was fantastic! I havent gotten anything pierced since I got my ears pierced in Kindergarten so I was nervous but he made the process SOO easy. The facility was clean and had great COVID procedures. Mick has such a calm and welcoming demeanor. Super professional and clearly very skilled at what he does. Extremely clean environment. Professional, and friendly artists/staff. They always make time for you. Got my nose pierced here and Thrasher did a great job, Im very happy with it! I originally wanted a double piercing done same day, though he told me he might be able to do it, he advised me to just do one and see how it goes and then get the second one. Its just refreshing to see people who truly love their craft and are NOT out just to make money off of people. Highly recommend, in fact, Im on my way there right now. (I really am)!

I feel this place tries to get good artists in on a consistent basis. Follow their IG for the revolving door of guest artists who show up for a few days or so... my tattoo was a walk-in essentiallly called, and two hours later I was getting tattood by a quality artist. Thanks Powerhouse!

Dre was my tattoo artist and was great! He did my tattoo three weeks ago and I am so happy with the results! He created a template for what I wanted quickly and placed it exactly where I wanted it on the first try. He made the tattoo look so nice and detailed. Exactly what I was looking for. The staff was very friendly. I would definitely go back for my future tattoos! Thank you for the great experience!

I had an amazing piercing and tattoo experience here and I plan on coming back. Anthony did an amazing job on my tattoo and Mick pierced my ear so beautifully. I was nervous to come in for my piercings because I never had many piercings in my ear but Mick was very knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable. The tattoo shop itself is filled with a variety of artists that are all phenomenal. The shop is kept clean and is also following strict covid guidelines and rules. I recently went to Powerhouse to get a tattoo with Eddie. I was a little concerned about getting a tattoo because of covid but as soon as I walked in there was nothing to worry about. Everyone wore masks and gloves that they changed several times during my time there and someone was cleaning the whole time. Everything was super sanitary! Also everyone here is super welcoming and friendly. I HIGHLY recommend this shop. I love my tattoo sooo much and I will definitely be returning!

I got 3 piercing including my daith, and I absolutely love them. Joey was my piercer, he made me feel super comfortable, I was in and out, no waiting time. I highly recommend this place. This place is so chill. I called ahead that day and asked if they take wake ins. The woman said they have a guy for that(btw she was super nice when I met her face to face when I was waiting, so personable). A few hours later I came in requesting a design of my dog Frankie ❤️ with a specific concept. The artist there came up with his take on my idea and it came out way better than expected! I’ve gotten sooo many complements and I absolutely love it! I’m kicking myself because I can’t remember the name of the artist but I went in on a Sunday late in the day (1/29/23) and I was pretty surprised they were able to take me right away. Trying to make an obvious long story short and failing, I shall be back ;)

I love this place. I’ve gotten my nose pierced here a year ago along with a tattoo. I came back again recently to get some new piercings. They are very clean and they are very nice. The piercer, Mick, took the time to explain everything to me and was very patient with me. Can’t wait to get my piercings downsized!

Great dermal piercing. Could have prepared me for no lidocaine. But truly more painful than imagined. Learned later the piercer was accused of being sadistic and was let go. I went back after the piercing started rejecting and found out he inserted the most painful and likely to reject sternum piercing.The owner and management heard my situation and invited me to have it removed by their new piercer and he was amazing, I believe his name was Jason. I was nervous due to prior experience and forgot his name. He was super compassionate and informative and gentle. I recommend this place highly. They care about their clients immensely and have great customer service!!!

Mick is a gem! I had some infected piercings and keloids that he was able to help me fix medically. The fact that he is an EMT in addition to a piercer helps a lot in situations like these. After my visit he told me how to take care of the infected area and told me to send him updates throughout the week. To me, this made my experience more personable and really shows that he cares. He saved my ear! I’m looking forward to my next visit with him. Thank you Mick!

Very friendly and clean. I took my daughter there for a nose piercing. I called first they told us to come. Once we got there we did the proper paperwork and they took her right back. This was about a month ago shes had no problems, healing great and she loves it!

Joey is very informative and transparent when it comes to piercings. he knows what hes doing. its completely worth it for a guaranteed good experience with whatever piercing you get. (as long as YOU take the responsibility of taking care of it properly afterwards)

I recently had a dermal removed from my face about two weeks ago. I highly recommend anyone who also needs a dermal removed to go this shop. The body piercer knows what he is doing, and my face is healing nicely. I am so happy that i decided to go to this shop for this procedure, i dont think any other person would of done has great of a job as he did!! Not to mention the staff was supportive while i was having this done. 😀

I got a tattoo here yesterday and I was surprised at the cleanliness of the place. I was very pleased with the staff, they were very kind and patient. My artist Chris did a small traditional anchor on my upper arm. He was quick and did a quality tattoo. The outline is sharp and bold; his color saturation is on point. I will definitely come back here again.

Just went in for my first tattoo yesterday as a walk in and I’m really happy about the experience. I thought that the staff was friendly and helpful and pointed out some thoughts I hadn’t considered—such as placement, size, etc. They may have charged a bit much, though I can’t say for certain since it was my first, but for the atmosphere and expertise and result, I’m really happy and don’t regret possibly having spent a bit more. Every time I come to Powerhouse, I feel so welcomed. I’m a nervous wreck, but they make you feel like family as soon as you walk in, quickly calming my nerves. They go out of their way to make sure everything is clean and sterile! I got my nose piercing done by visiting piercer Luca! He was more than amazing! Extremely knowledgeable about what he does, and he makes sure that he informs you about what he’s doing every step of the way. Even though he’s visiting, Powerhouse makes sure whoever they have working in their shop is an expert in what they do! When I tell you the process was easy and painless, believe me. Definitely telling all of my friends to come here, whether it’s for piercings or tatts! Thank you!!!

Mick is an awesome guy. He made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Got a Tragus piercing and it was quick and I enjoyed myself in just that little bit of time. He really help me enjoy my experience.

I went in today to have a dermal looked at after it was irritated by a mask & it ended up needing to be removed. The piercing had sunk incredibly low under the skin, wasnt anchored, just a hot mess all around. We had previously discussed removing the piercing which had made me wildly nervous/scared(Im talking crying, nervous break down and repeating Im scared over and over again) before going in and while being there. Well, turns out I had NOTHING to be afraid of!!! Mick, the piercer(who is also an EMT, could you ask for anything more?!), is amazing, in every aspect. From helping to keep me calm, to explaining the procedure every step of the way, answering all my questions, and most importantly, removing the anchor. I thought this was going to be a horribly terrifying and painful experience, but I can honestly say with Mick, I was shocked by how little pain their was. If I had to gauge the pain, I would say a 1 or 2, I was expecting a 10. It hurt less than an earring piercing by far. If youre looking to have anything put in or removed, I would not recommend anyone BUT Mick, I personally consider it a luxury to be able to go to a piercer who doubles as an EMT. Thanks Mick, you are amazing!!

Ive gotten 2 piercings done by Thrasher and I dont think Ill ever trust anyone else to pierce me. Im super prone to keloids no matter how careful I am with the healing process but whenever Thrasher pierces me I have absolutely no problems at all. Hes nice, clean, and helps you feel at ease if youre nervous about getting a piercing. Recommended my sister and a couple friends to him because hes awesome.

Got my first tattoo yesterday, everyone was great and made you feel at home even for a first timer like me. The style I went with was American traditional and when I called I was setup with Daniel Cotte and his design was way above expectations! I got a big piece which was full outer forearm and being my first my artist always made sure I was comfortable and doing fine through the process which made my experience very memorable. All I can say is if you want traditional ask for Daniel.

I’ve had two tattoos done here and now a piercing as well. Mick did my rook piercing and my husband’s cartilage piercing. He’s very professional and patient, and shows real pride in what he does. He was accommodating with our time constraints as well. I am definitely not done with Powerhouse!! I’ll be back for both more piercings and tattoos!

Super professional shop with very friendly artists. I came in as a walk in and was able to get tattooed a few hours later. Hiten was really personable, professional and absolutely delivered. Yes, prices are slightly higher here, but you are getting the NYC quality you want so it is worth it. Also, i saw the interactions between other artists and potential clients and everyone was amazingly friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this shop.

I went to Mick tonight to get a lower lobe piercing and couldnt have had a better experience! He was really willing to explain everything to me and had a lot of his own suggestions to help with how indecisive I was being. I will definitely be going back here for more piercings!!

Let’s talk about why I went here......So about a year ago I did an impulsive thing and got a piercing on the boardwalk (DONT DO THAT). They did my piercing so so so so wrong I was in pain for a long time. So it was hard for me to trust someone.I went to Spencer’s to get earrings and was dying to try again. I ask one girl from the desk where she goes and trusts and she told me this place.So I tried it. Mick was soooo awesome. He made it painless, let’s be honestly any piercing hurts, but he knows how to make your comfortable. Please was super clean. Took every precaution for Covid. They were awesome. I’ll definitely go back for my helix :-)

This is my third time going to Power House Tattoo and left very satisfied!! I went to get a tattoo today and as usual VERY clean, on time, professional, and VERY friendly/Kind! Eddie did an amazing job yet again on my tattoo and did exactly what I asked for. During this difficult time they are all cautious by wearing mask, keeping the place extremely clean, and having hand sanitizer. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back soon to get another tattoo!

One of the female tattoo artist made a distasteful and racially charged comment after my friend said that she wanted her two children’s name tattooed. When my friend wrote the names down she said “oh? I thought they were going to be long and complicated”. We left immediately after

I went and got my nose pierced by Thrasher after reading great reviews about him. He is soo pleasant, has a gentle approach and is willing to answer all questions and concerns. I couldn’t believe how it barely hurt and it was so quick! I am so pleased with my results. I definitely recommend him.

Mick is an awesome and very knowledgeable professional piecer. I got my cartilage pierced by him which healed very well. I wanted my nose pierced but because of the pandemic he couldn’t pierce my nose by law so I went to someone else that did a horrible job. I immediately contacted Mick to see if he could help me. Turns out that it wasn’t properly done and I had very cheap jewelry in my nose that he compared it to a soda can top lol pretty bad but long story short he changed my jewelry and added a silicone disc and it already feels better and the bump has gone down tremendously in just one day! Thank you Mick for being so professional and helping me! Remember ppl, quality!!!!

Let me start off by saying I got 4 pieces done by Kyle there. Loved his work, place is nice and clean and friendly. Last I was there, he kept stopping to pick up multiple phone calls that were upsetting him and he took his anger out on my skin as he was tattooing me, roughly brushing a paper towel on my fresh ink which hurt even more and on top of that I was pretty uncomfortable and felt awkward. That was obviously unprofessional. Then yesterday I asked him about a coverup on my calves which he said he won’t do because “You need to take your tattoos seriously and I won’t be chasing coverups on your body and to think about a tattoo more than one day in advance”. Mind you I do not need his advice on my life decisions nor did I asked to be judged or talk to me like he was my therapist. So I won’t be coming here again.

Anthony was amazing! He did a very special piece for me of my dog and it came out so realistic looking I am beyond impressed. The shop is also extremely clean and organized. Everyone there is super nice too. Will be back again! Just a tip, they only accept CASH.

While walking around Montclair tonight waiting for our dinner reservation my husband and I passed PowerHouse & I said hm wonder if they do piercings. I expected the helix to hurt A LOT but I was shocked how quick & easy it was. Went in for a simple tattoo, and Morgan was very rude. He wouldnt allow my 2 friends to be there and help me figure some MINOR things out... not sure what kind of tattoo artist isnt confident enough to allow people to observe his work. Anyways, didnt get anything done because you know, these things do stay on your body forever. Id recommend going somewhere where the artists dont mind you worrying about details.

So in love with my new tattoo!! I went to Dre for a cover-up piece on my hip area. I had song lyrics that was very worried would show through, but all I could say is WOW! The detail in my new tattoo is stellar and you cant even tell that there is something underneath! Also Dre was very patient with me as this tattoo was a very painful spot. Power House is absolutely the best tattoo parlor Ive been to yet. Artists just as good if not better than what you find in NYC (from Manhattan to Greenpoint) at a much more reasonable and fair rate. Morgan has done all of my work and I could not recommend him more. His eye for design, placement, and execution are impeccable. Morgan keeps it real, if he finds issue with the design/idea he very nicely and directly communicates his thoughts, suggestions, alternatives, or alterations. I truly trust him with any peice. I also recommend Hiten he has great taste and flash options. Extremely sterile environment and cool headed staff. Be respectful, dont come in thinking your some hot sh*t, at any shop you WILL have a bad time.

I left a $100 dollar deposit for a tattoo. I gave the artist my inspiration and when he showed me the drawing I wasn’t too happy with it. I asked him if we can change the design because I wasn’t happy with it, said he can make small adjustments. I asked if I can get partial of my money back since their website says $60 dollars in non-refundable and I paid $100 but they refused to give me my money back. I also asked if I can use it as credit for a piercing and they also said no. It was a disappointing experience.

I got a tattoo and my tragus pierced here. Hiten did the tattoo and he was great to talk to; my tattoo also looked great. I told him what I wanted and he quickly sketched something out and the whole experience was pleasant. Id go here again if I ever want another tattoo or piercing.

This is where I got my first tattoo, the character ai on my wrist. As I write this review I am about to go get another one. I walked in and was immediately greeted by a nice eastern atmosphere and smiles and hello, can I help yous. I was pretty scared, being 18, but I was comfortable pretty soon. The artist that immediately volunteered for my project was Brian. He was very nice to me and knew exactly how I wanted my tattoo. It was painless in my opinion, but I have a very high tolerance for pain. Nevertheless, he was very gentle and that played a big part. When I go back later, I will definitely be requesting him because I am 100% fine with displaying his art. The other artists were very nice as well and pretty freaking hilarious, so if Brian isnt there, I would be comfortable with them as well.

Picked a skull from some flash on the wall, and it was done in about half an hour. Good vibes all around. Very happy with the work. (Note: bring cash, as credit cards arent accepted.)

Incredibly rude . Went in to have two tattoos TOUCHED UP. Anna insisted that I would have to get both completely redone as she strictly “finishes the tattoos to completion”. I explained that I simply wanted my tattoos touched up , only wanted very minimal shading done and that I could not financially afford to do it all at once. The quoted prices continued to go higher until I got so irritated I left . As a customer my needs were ignored.

Came in as a walk-in for a short handwriting piece after JinxProof down the street was too busy. Was greeted so nicely by Morgan, who said he could squeeze me in after his appointment. The work was beautiful - he made it look like real pen strokes. The shop is immaculate and the prices are great. This is my new go-to place.

I found this place by accident. Called literally every piercist in Paramus, Paterson, Clifton, and Wayne on Super Bowl Sunday. NO ONE wanted to do my Daith piercing. I even considered going to New York losing all hope and willing to pay even more money. I did one more search and called PowerHouse Tattoo Co and asked if someone would be available. The atmosphere was great. Red and yellow room with numerous sketches over the walls. As soon as you walk-in they need to verify that you’re 18 or older so I.D is required. They direct you to a tablet where you have to fill out a survey and answer all health related questions (allergies, diseases, etc.). Thrasher was my piercist and he made my experience comfortable. He walked me to a room in the back where I sat facing the wall. He talked me through the entire process and even asked me if I was certain that I wanted to go through with the piercing. I couldn’t record during the procedure or even bring my friend because they need your full and undivided attention. It was a little uncomfortable and hot but Thrasher gave me after care instructions. After I paid( Only cash transactions) Thrasher handed me his card and said “if I had ANY QUESTIONS don’t hesitate to call” which I thought was amazing customer service!!!

On my way to work in Verona I passes by the shop everyday so I decided to stop by and get a tat. a very warm welcome as I enter the door the guy(Jose) stopped whateva he was doing to help me out. i spent more than i normally would have spend on a tat but when he was done da tat was amazing it was worth it. everyone that seen the tat was like wow were u get that done at. Unfriendly to American servicemen. Could not explain a simple question. How can an entire sentence. 4 lines cost $350. And 3 small words cost $300.. Given double speak, anbiguous answer and finally ask the artist. And this was from the owner. If a simple straight forward question cant be given a simple straight forward answer.. They dont get my business...... UPDATE!!! I got my tatoo. 1/3 the price. This other place offered ideas. Different things to think about and a THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE.

Mick the piercer there helped me with my keloid using no-pull discs and it was gone in a week plus they have an amazing jewelry selection! Anna the tattoo artist is amazing just everything is amazing about this place.

Do not go here for piercings. Went here for an industrial piercing. Learned the hard way that my ear was not the right shape for it. Audery was my piercer and she never told me that my ear was never going to heal. She in fact said that my ear was perfect for it. Lied to my face and took my money. Never going back.

I came yesterday and I got THE SMALLEST tattoo theyve probably ever done, it was so small it took at most 1 minute to do, about a size of a petite thumb print. They told me it was $90 which was much to begin with but it was my friend and Is first time getting tattoos so it was whatever. At the end when it came to paying, they added an extra $5 for my fee and an extra $10 for my friend.So be careful with this store. THEY WILL UP CHARGE at the end for no reason and if you do ask theyll simply just say its tax. But what percent are we really paying for in tax? Since it seems like they add 5, 10..and more for tax

I decided on going to Powerhouse Tattoo Company for my nose piercing. After research, it seemed from the website and social media that I was going to a place that was not only high quality and professional but friendly. I WAS RIGHT! I went in yesterday (election day ....already a stressful day) when greeted by Mick, the piercer, I told him that I was scared, yet excited He assured me that I had nothing to be scared about, that he knew exactly what he was doing and that we would get through it together. He explained exactly how the process would go and he talked about placement of the piercing. I had one idea of where it should be placed, but after him explaining about the anatomy of my nose I understood why it had to be placed slightly different, and it looks so so amazing! I am happy and satisfied with my piercing and jewelry. Definitely recommend for piercing and jewelry purchases also. Thank you Mick!

I got my first tattoo here 20 years ago. I get my ears pierced here as well as it is much better than going to a beauty salon or something to get it done with one of those guns. My last visit was two weeks ago for an inner ear tattoo.

They charged me $80 for this super simple small tattoo of the number 13. First off. 2nd , its not filled in all the way, and when I pointed this out to the artist he claimed it would appear more filled in once healed, which is obvious b.s and very frustrating. 3rd. He drew the numbers so closely together that it looks like a capital B! Idk what type of half ass operation theyre running here, but I will never return. Smh.

Guys, don’t go to this spot. They charge really high. $160 for one small letter tattoo. I didn’t ask for the price on front because I was expecting that I will pay the minimum of $100 for one small single letter tattoo. Totally ripped off

Me and my girlfriend was there to get matching tattoos the guy said we had to pay for our tattoos before they started so my girl pays them there was another guy in there getting a tattoo to but he didn’t have to pay until his tattoo was done I felt there was some racist involved
