We had such a great experience piercing our 7 month old’s ears with Rachel. I’m really glad I found out about this spot! She takes her time marking the ears before piercing them and also goes over aftercare with you. Her office is super clean too. Makes you feel like you’re at a doctors appointment! I was really nervous about aftercare and whether or not my baby would be fussy or irritated but it’s been a week and the earrings look great and she’s not bothered the slightest bit. I had an amazing experience with Rachel today. I had to get my ears re-pierced (since 10 weeks ago I got them surgically stitched after a rip). Given my unique situation I wanted to make sure I went to a reputable place. Rachel’s office is extremely clean—it feels like a doctors office rather than an hectic jewelry store. She takes so much time with you to make sure that everything is to your liking. She has a great selection of earrings at fair prices. 10/10 recommend!!

Rachel is just phenomenal! She took such good care of my 8 week old when she got pierced. She is now all healed and I could not be happier. Easy to book with great communication and to know your baby is being pierced by a nurse gives you peace of mind. Her studio is incredibly clean and so easy to get to!

I booked with Rachel spur-of-the-moment, based on all the positive reviews here. She did NOT disappoint! I’m thrilled with my new piercings, and Rachel is professional and meticulous re cleanliness and placement. She took time to help me pick studs that I love, there was zero pressure to pick anything in particular, but her ideas and feedback were great. All this and she is fun and interesting to chat with! If I choose to pierce more, I’ll definitely be back, and I’ll point friends and family here, too.

Julie is excellent. I am an adult in my 70’s with a repaired earring hole that had to be re-pierced. She took a lot of time measuring to be sure that the new pierce would match my other ear.She is a delight to work with, extremely careful about sterility (changing her gloves several times) and frequently swabbing my earlobe.While I was there, she had a few infants getting pierced ears, and those I saw looked beautifully done.I highly recommend her for any piercings.

Had a mixed experience with Rachel Smith at Clinical ear piercing. I brought my 12 year old for earlobe needle piercing with gold earrings inserted. The earring placement was great and piercing process was fine but Rachel Smith used a stud earring with a butterfly back and a week later the back of my daughter’s ear was red and irritated. Rachel was out of town so we went to a piercing salon and they confirmed my hunch that the earring posts were too short and the backings were digging into the earlobe. We bought new titanium flat back earrings and paid for an earring change. Rachel claimed the earring posts she used were long enough but clearly they weren’t and all other piercing studios recommend against using butterfly backings. Rachel also agreed to a partial refund but we never received it. Use her at your own risk, she may be fine for babies or gun piercings but the gold earrings she uses are not the industry standard and can create an infection.

Got my first ever piercing at 30 years young and Im so glad it was with Rachel here at Clinical Ear Piercing. She really took time to give me great opinions on what stud would work best for me, was meticulous when it came to measuring and picking the perfect piercing locations, and made the entire process so smooth. If I ever get around to doing future piercings I know exactly who Ill be coming back to!

We wanted to have our daughters ears pierced. She is 3 months old, we also got a recommendation from the pediatrician. We were able to easily make an appointment online. When we made the appointment, we were also informed about punctuality(otherwise no refund). For this we arrived 15 min earlier, for our surprise when we arrived to the building was close and when we ring the bell the woman told us that we were early and our appointment wasn’t in that moment until 15 min after, and she leave us waiting outside from the building the hole time in the cold wet October weather. The The previous customer arrived late to the appointment and for this she was late with us so instead of open us and leave us waiting inside and sit (like the most all of the places) for our appointment we had to wait outside for almost 30 (15 min that we were earlier for be punctual and don’t lost the appointment and other 15 min that she was late with the previous customer) minutes with my 3-month-old daughter. The billing in connection with the tax was also unprofessional.The ear piercing itself was professional again.But to make customers with a baby wait outside for so long when there is a waiting area inside is incomprehensible. (there know the age and it was booked for a baby appointment)And we got no a message to don’t arrive late like the owner says. Even in the page from them you can read perfect that you need to be on time if not you will get not refund. Also doesn’t says to don’t arrive earlier because you can’t wait inside. So is a little be complicate. Come punctual but not so punctual because if the person is delay with other customer can’t open you 😅. So all a little bit not clear.

Went to see Rachel over the weekend with my best friend and it was an amazing experience - will be returning NO DOUBT! Rachel is very thorough and patient. Super professional and great communication. So so meticulous when marking and triple-checks before asking for approval. I was expecting to get two piercings, but ended up walking out with four!! I had two old piercings done as a child and thought they closed, but Rachel told me otherwise :) Thanks again Rachel!!

Rachel is a professional nurse who provides a comfortable, excellent experience. I needed one ear repierced following an ear lobe repair. It cant be pierced on the scar & you really need to find the right spot or the lobe can tear. She found a spot that looks great & I didnt even feel the piercing. Her post piercing instructions are clear & Im very happy I went to her.

Had a great all-around experience with Rachel on two occasions, matching an existing piercing and then adding two new ones. She is extraordinarily attentive to detail, really taking the time to get to know the clients situation and what they want while providing her guidance and expertise. Scheduling, communication, and the appointment itself all flow seamlessly. And she is highly personable and just fun to be around!

It was great. Easy appointment scheduling. Got some reminders before the procedure with availability to reschedule or cancel the appointment. I used numbing cream for my 13-month-old daughter. Daughter choose studs herself and.... we did it. Extremely well and extremely easy. My daughter had No cry - No tears - Just smile.Rachel did explanations for each step of procedure. She is educated and professional and attentive to every detail of the process.Wonderful experience, definitely worth every penny.

Rachel is the best! She did a house call for my baby girls piercing and then I got a piercing of my own with her and she is just so gentle, no pain! And the healing has been amazing….. I will always go to her for all my piercings plus she’s got the cutest variety of earrings… so glad I found her!

My wife and I took our 7 year-old daughter to see Rachel today, and the experience was flawless. Rachel is an awesome person, a hard worker, and so detailed. She was meticulous in marking marking my daughters ears, and she quadruple-checked the markings before she pierced her ears. The result was perfect. My daughter recently had her ears pierced, and while visiting the city she lost one of her medical grade earrings; very hard to find a replacement. I called Rachel and even though she was out of the country she responded quickly and directed me to her office to get a replacement. We took our 6 months and 4 year old daughters to get their ears pierced. Rachel is absolutely the best, there are not enough stars to give her on this review. Rachel is patient, thorough, kind , gentle and professional. Her office is immaculate and comforting. We returned to have both of their earrings changed after the initial piercing pair and Rachel was able to change them without causing any stress or fuss. I highly recommend Rachel for ear piercings and for purchasing earrings. She has a nice selection for girls. We are so blessed to have found her and grateful she took good care of our daughters. Im so delayed in my review. Rachel from Clinical Ear Piercing was the best. She worked with our schedule and made us comfortable with the ear piercing process (not easy during a pandemic). She was clear and upfront about use of PPE, pricing, how long the process would take, and aftercare. In fact, she even made herself available via phone and text when we had a question about a week later. The babys piercinf healed perfectly and shes now wearing beautiful family heirlooms. I definitely recommend Rachel - youll be in the great hands.

I rarely leave reviews but I feel compelled to share my experience as Rachel is simply fantastic.If you do a quick search on google, you would read many people had unpleasant experiences with uneven or crooked ear piercing. Lots of my friends with ear piercing have told me that its quite rare to get the piercing completely symmetrical. However, this is not the story with Rachel. She is so experienced with calm hands and chill energy. Thus she can pierce your ears with great precision and right angle. She also have a good eye and great taste, along with her chic personal style. She would listen to your needs and spot the best position on your ear to perform the piercing. The exact position and angle of the piercing will largely affect how difference jewelries look on you later on. In addition, Rachel is extremely patient and personal. Even though she is always busy with a fully booked schedule, she never rushes anyone during the appointment and would make sure you are taken special care of and you are happy with how your new piercing looks. She would even mark the spot on your ear lobe and ask you to check it in mirror before she actually pierces your ears.Price is very fair with such exceptional service and a complimentary pair of solid gold earrings. Plus, her selection of earrings is super cute and of high quality.Dont risk going to a tattoo/piercing parlor if you want your ear piercing done right and professionally, with grace and class.

Rachel is such a kind & detail-oriented person that I can trust when it comes to piercing. She is a registered nurse as well which a huge plus. If anything happens, she can help you. I had to pierce my ears again because my original piercing was done too low (10 years ago) I couldn’t wear any hoop-earnings or heavy ones. Also, the location of your ear piercings play a huge role to enhance the look. I finally encouraged myself to get this thing done for my wedding in June so that I can wear beautiful earrings for my wedding without worrying about how they look. I even considered getting a plastic surgery for my ear lobes but I wanted to ask Rachel’s opinion first. She said I had enough space for new piecing and we decided to do it which makes me so happy with the result now.Her office is located in SoHo which is perfect for me. Also, the space is kids-friendly and relaxing which help me to not be nervous before piercing my ears. Also, she took time to explain aftercare and which earrings to wear to minimize any allergic reaction to the certain metals. I even reached out to her 1 month after the piercing was done to ask a few more questions regarding my ears. She was so responsive and assured me how to take care of my ears!I highly recommend Rachel to anyone who is considering getting ears pierced. It is totally worth $$. We just brought our 7 year old in to have her ears pierced by nurse Rachel and it couldnt have gone better! It was a dream experience. We arrived and were immediately welcomed with an overview of what to expect and a nice selection of earrings to peruse while we waited for the numbing cream to work. 30 minutes later we were in a calming room with nice music and the procedure took 5 minutes. My daughter didnt feel a thing! Thank you nurse Rachel, you are amazing!!!!!

We brought my almost 11 month old baby to get her ears pierced today after convincing dad. (I do wish we brought her at 2 months old, but fast forward to now, and here we are.) Rachel did a fantastic job marking our babys earlobes for the piercing and instructing us on holding and distracting her while she pierced. There is a wide selection of earrings to choose from and theyre really reasonably priced. The front desk manager was also super helpful. Everything you need you can get without the schlep: saline cleansing spray, backup studs, new gold earrings. It really made our day to be able to get our babys ears pierced and the experience was fantastic. Last but not least (and perhaps most of all), everything was sanitary and clean.

Took my 3month old, Eleanor, here and I was SO nervous, I almost couldnt go through with it... Rachel took me to a room where I got to nurse my babe while she gave me all the pros and cons of piercing my girl early and put absolutely no pressure on me. I decided to go through with it. I opted for the numbing cream (totally worth it!!) Rachel was extremely meticulous when marking Eleanors ears. Finally, while my sister in law distracted Eleanor with awesome light up rattles that Rachel provided, Eleanor got her ears pierced. It was quick and painless... Seriously. Painless. She didnt even realize it happened. NO crying (except for my own tears) and I was given very detailed aftercare instructions. If I could give 10 stars, I would. Its worth every penny.

My strongest possible recommendation for Rachel and Clinical Ear Piercing! As a physician, I especially appreciated the immaculate setting and the time she took to carefully mark the spot and let me think about it before proceeding. She also has a lovely selection of earrings for kids and adults.

I am so glad I went to Rachel. I had a piercing from another piercer that would not heal. She immediately diagnosed me with a titanium allergy, and it was my earrings that were not allowing the piercing to heal. I found her extremely knowledgeable on all things piercing. Also got to choose new gold earrings from her very nice collection.

I went to get a second piercing and the space was immaculate, very inviting, and had overall a very relaxing vibe which put me at ease. The owner Rachel is a registered nurse and she was extremely professional the whole time and very friendly. My piercings were done perfectly. Super happy and I highly recommend.

Edit: This rating went up somehow without my comment. I didn’t finish my review and thought it didn’t post. We had an odd experience today. My daughter had her ears pierced 8 weeks ago at this location and everything was great. We returned to check on her status and chose a new pair of hoops because she was eager to replace her first pair of studs (to wear new earrings) and there is no charge for a visit if you purchase a new pair of earrings. The nurse was inserting the new hoop earrings and in the middle of the process my daughter became distressed and nauseous. She had to leave the room and we left without the backings in her original pair of stud earrings after they were quickly put back by the nurse. I’ve had a hard time convincing my daughter to have the backings put back. Her left ear is sore and she’s hesitant to have anyone touch it. She’s normally very relaxed so this is not a typical experience for her. I think the difference here may be that my daughter had the numbing cream on her first visit and thus had no pain and was alarmed by the the pain in her followup visit. It’s not my intention to disparage anyone. As a mother who cares for her child I’m only sharing what she went through. >I had no issue paying for any service I just wanted to be sure my daughter was ok and not upset.< It’s a bit odd that the response from the owner is referenced solely in terms of cost and not the welfare and wellbeing of a patient. (The response from the owner was then changed after my edit. I wish them well and I’m sure many customers will be pleased and have no issues but I don’t think we’ll be returning.)

ZERO STARS. I brought in my daughter for her first piercing and walked away with the most embarrassing moment. Truly to get a cancellation fee the RN and her receptionist made a scene in front of other customers and shamed me for not being able to get a piercing because my daughter got nervous at the end. The RN mentioned about losing business and letting go of 5 clients in exchange for my appointment. How this is a small business and because my daughter didn’t get a piercing and got nervous, the RN lost money. It is a plan to manipulate the client to pay the fee and not argue about it. Honestly they have ZERO CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE. And to have so called business women make a scene in front of others. I got zero word out paid the fee ($90) and just left. I will never return and urged parents with kids who get easily nervous to go to a place where the company puts the client first and not the other way around.

I got my 1 year old daughters ears pierced here and had a very pleasant experience. Everything was well organized. I opted for anaesthetic cream and it worked like a magic, my daughter didnt feel the pain or cry. Strongly recommend Clinical Ear Piercing, especially for the little ones.

I had my daughters ears pierced here. Was more than impressed! Clean, professional, knowledgeable staff. Options like surgical plastic earrings ensured that my daughter didnt have any problems with infection. Very impressed.

Professional, great service. Took my 1 year old to get her ears pierced. Got the numbing cream, thankfully they have toys to distract babies and my daughter didnt feel a thing! No tears except when we didnt give her a stuffed Minnie that they have there. I was extremely relieved that it went so smoothly. Great service!

This lady is very rude and unprofessional. I went there with my 20 month old daughter(I never saw on the website that she doesn’t do this age), as soon as the lady saw my daughter started questioning how old she was. While we were on the elevator the nurse started to call me a lier and to say I lied to her saying my daughter was less than 15 months when we never spoke about it. How did I lie? I said my daughter is 1 year old which she is, between 12 months and 23 months is considered to be a year old. she never asked how many months was she, i didn’t appreciate that and find it to be very disrespectful to call someone a lier when you don’t know them; immediately I told her she doesn’t have to do my daughters piercing if she doesn’t do her age and she said she will try but with a major attitude. at the end she did re-open my daughters piercing but I believe if I am paying for a service which is not cheap at all, at least i deserve respect. This lady LACKS customer service skills.I uploaded a screenshot of the the conversation we had days prior to the appointment where I explained what had happened and if she wasn’t just interested on the deposit she would have asked how many months my daughter was. After I left the office I went back to the website and only if you go to the Q&a section is that you can find that information (she doesn’t do 16 months or older), not everyone will go to that section if they find what they are looking for right away.

Great piercing place!!!!! Rachel Smith is super professional and caring, and the entire experience was very pleasant. All the jewelry is really cute too.

Disappointed by our experience. We were unfortunately late with our newborn and there was zero flexibility or understanding which came at a $50 cost (lost deposit). We were understanding of our culpability in losing our spot and deposit but what was not needed from this woman was a 10 minute speech on how she lost money and we waisted her time by not arriving on time. Do yourself a favor and skip this understaffed company and go for a spot that can be at least kind to their customers.

Not worth the money

Rachel did a phenomenal job piercing my daughter’s ears. My daughter was 4 months old at the time and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Rachel is very meticulous, personable and quick! Piercing both ears took a total of 3 minutes which is very impressive. The piercings are even and perfect. Her studio is very clean and she practices using aseptic techniques.

Very competent technicians and good prices I was well taken care of.
