Walked in and was able to get an appointment right away. I’d already decided what I wanted a day before so it was fast. The piercing specialist was nice and worked quickly. I was very pleased. I just wish they would’ve told me how to take the earrings out.

I love this place! The piercer was really nice and knowledgeable, she made me feel comfortable because I was a little nervous. They also have a great variety of earrings, and the prices are affordable. I like that they have really cute and fun designs. I will definitely come back for more piercings 🤭

I had an excellent experience at STUDS Nolita. I went in for jewelry change for two recent Helix piercings. My experience with Kaila was exceptional. She greeted me upon arrival, suggested which earrings I should purchase and have replaced. She made me feel at ease when expressed that my piercings were not fully healed. She was extremely knowledgeable when suggesting the right earrings and explain why these would be the ones for me.My piercer was Ash. She was amazing through the entire process.They were professional and friendly. It was quick and nearly painless, and the aftercare instructions were thorough and easy to follow. The excellent service and peace of mind made it worth the visit. Highly recommend :)

I’m not sure if they’re understaffed, but the employees at this specific location are extremely rude. I’ve worked in retail so I get the stress - but this experience was truly appalling… I felt like I was on a prank reality show - it was that bad. It also triggered mental health issues and I had to rush home.I went in to purchase a stud earring, asked to change it right before paying (after the employee went to the back to grab it), and was told “No” with the blankest stare. At this point the employee seemed livid and going through a breakdown. Then they expanded “Well I can but I’d have to go back again and grab the new earring”… aka your job?… I was in there for a total of 5 minutes, tried to be super quick, there weren’t too many people in the store.Taken aback, I just said it’s fine and was planning on purchasing + returning it at a different location because it seemed like SUCH a hassle for the employee to change the studs I wanted to purchase (in the total 5 minutes I was in the store). They let me switch it at the end, but we did we both have to go through all that? Not sure the employee is cut out for any people-facing roles lol.And to clarify, this was not an earring that was pierced into my ear (I can understand not being able to swap that) - this was a 5 minute interaction of me walking into the store and buying it straight away.

Piercing my ears here was a great experience! I was pierced my camila and she was very careful and precise with making the markings, piercing and aftercare instructions. The actual piercing process was done with a needle and was quick and clean. I felt very comfortable here would definitely come back. Although I would mention that piercing here is definitely a little expensive. I got a lobe piercing with standard earrings and saline wash which came to be about $250.

I was very impressed by this location, especially the woman who did my ear piercings (whose name i unfortunately can’t recall). Very professional, store was clean and wait time was short. Great selection of earrings too. Would highly recommend!!!

Had such a good experience with piercer Ashley! Got three cluster lobe piercings - she doesn’t rush and really supports/cares about your vision! We really need more chill and nonjudgmental people in this world.

Super fast and here is the breakdown. Upon entering need to choose what kind of service and the earrings (3mins coz i decide so fast on anything). Identification check and online waiver simultaneously (1min). Waiting for my turn to be pierced (2mins). Piercing (2mins). Payment (2mins). It will take longer if youre having a hard time choosing your earrings. Photos will be posted when I go back to be checked and get a new pair of earrings.

So far I’ve really loved my time at STUDS Nolita. I have gotten my second lobe piercing re-done both times, when the earring has either fallen out and closed or the previously “healed” piercing has gotten infected and closed. The jewelry is reasonably priced, even for 14K, which someone on a budget like me can really appreciate. I really liked the piercer Ashley and how she really took the time to explain and reassure me of some questions I had. I would like to return soon for a pair of huggies I can install in my ears, to complete a stylish look.

Shout out to Bella for providing such an amazing and painless experience. I am converted and will be back. Super easy to make an appointment and everyone was very helpful.

STUDS Nolita is an amazing location to visit!I chose this location specifically because its possible to get up to four piercings at a time, which seemed perfect to me.I visited in December 2023 to have the helix and lobes on both of my ears pierced, and I had a great time! Upon entering the shop, the staff greeted me, and the check-in process was simple and smooth.After checking in, I explored the selection of STUDS jewelry available for purchase. There were many options, ranging from gold to silver pieces, which was also really nice.I was introduced to my piercer, and when everything was ready, I was guided to the station where I would get my piercings. My piercer was incredibly kind and walked me through the piercing process before we began. I appreciated this because it made me feel more comfortable, knowing how the procedure would go. I also asked a couple of questions, and my piercer answered each one with enthusiasm. I appreciated my piercers patience as I contemplated the best location for the piercings I wished to receive that day.After I was all set, I received my four piercings. I also appreciated how I was provided with stress balls to squeeze in case I needed them (I didnt, which was good!). After the piercings were in, I was provided with helpful instructions regarding aftercare and the healing process, which was helpful. I also received a STUDS pouch with those instructions and some awesome goodies, which was a bonus.I cant wait to return to the STUDS Nolita location for my next set of piercings! Also, a shout-out to my piercer, Bella. You were such an awesome and memorable part of my experience!

Just left with my fresh conch and flat piercings! Casey is a fantastic piercer, she has great energy and was just as a excited to pierce as I was to get my piercings! I never felt rushed or pressured and the staff was able to find me a similar stud for my flat since they were out of the original. I couldn’t be happier with the entire staff, jewelry and my new piercings. Thank you, studs!

Second time going to Studs for my piercings and they always kill it. This was my first time at the Nolita location and it was nothing short of amazing. Fast, efficient and super cool space! It’s a cheap-looking place, earrings styles all highly plastic and young girl-ish. The same styles as sold in most of the SoHo/Nolita shops with huge markups. The counter seemed unclean

This store is official for any piercing and the customer service is top tier!! They’re pricey but I don’t mind paying because of how amazing the customer service is!

Great experience at STUDS. Lese took great care of me! She was patient while I kept changing my mind about my jewelry choice, and very gentle with my ear piercings. The location was clean and I felt very comfortable throughout the whole experience. Would definitely come back for my next piercing.

I had such a wonderful experience at Studs Nolita! I went on Black Friday but was pleasantly surprised with the prompt service and on-time appointment. Everyone was in great spirits! Gabriela at reception helped me check in and suggested a beautiful pairing for my two piercings- which I gladly went ahead and got! Bella was my piercer and she was amazing! Truly felt minimal pain and the entire experience was just awesome. Cant wait till these heal to go back for two more!

10/10 experience, my appointed piercer, the jewelry selection & most importantly the outcome. Probably the BEST piercing experience I’ve had in all my existence. I am so happy with my piercings! I went to the Nolita site to get 4 piercings at a time. Two on each lobe, snakebites. The staff were really nice and took me in early. Ashley was awesome, she made sure that the piercings were as I wanted them and checked in to make sure I was okay through out the process. It was quick and they give you aftercare instructions to take home with you!

Have been to Studs Nolita for 2 sessions so far with more to come. I am doing a full ear-scape. I highly recommend this place! The staff are very experienced, warm and friendly. Every time I come it’s such a happy fun experience. Thank you studs!

I was in the city for the day and intended to make an appointment, but ended up forgetting - I wandered into the store to see if they had any walk-in times and they were happy to squeeze me in since I only wanted one helix piercing. My daughter turned 17 and wanted a cartilage piercing in her ear. She is extremely afraid of needles. We want to Studs, the person who did the piercing was amazing! Fast, not even a wince from my kid, and exactly where and how she wanted the placement. Amazing service, professional and very friendly.

Im scared of needles so I had some anxiety going in for my piercings but there was literally nothing to worry about, my piercer Ash made sure I didnt see the equipment and gave me clear directions which helped with the nervousness. Theres also an extra seat in the piercing rooms if you want to bring a friend for moral support! I havent gotten my ears pierced since getting my lobes done at Claires with a piercing gun so I wasnt sure what to expect but Id totally come back here or recommend it to friends.

I got pierced here a couple of weeks ago and I was waiting for my ear to heal a little to post a full review. Honestly, as soon as I walked out of my appointment, I got excited thinking about getting my next piercing. The experience was awesome, I think I didn’t spend more than 10 minutes at the location. The place was clean, my piercer was super nice, and the piercing itself almost didn’t hurt (this is my 4th lobe piercing and was by far my less painful experience). Overall super lean experience. My piercing is healing nicely. Can’t wait to go back for more.

Chloe is amazing!!!!! She’s super sweet and personable. She answered all my questions and was very knowledgeable. My piercer was Lese and she couldn’t be better. She alleviated all my fears and was extremely kind and patient. If I ever need any more piercings, I will definitely head straight to studs. The price was also reasonable. Ask for the student discount!!!

Got a helix piercing at this location yesterday and had a fantastic experience! Bella was my piercer and she was extremely knowledgeable and professional. Traditionally Ive gotten pierced at tattoo shops, but I wanted to try Studs out since their marketing team definitely puts in the work. I booked online with a promotional code and showed up an hour and a half earlier than expected due to a packed schedule. They were incredibly accommodating and were able to move me up.5/5 for the overall experience. Bella was fantastic and walked me through the entire piercing process despite being someone whos already been pierced many times. We hit it off and she was great! Even though I booked with a promo code, the shop employees were not notified and I was charged the full price (absolutely not their fault, but their systems) and I was refunded the difference after a quick conversation with one of the employees.3/5 for the quality of the jewelry. As someone who has lots of piercings and knows what works best for my ears personally, I was disappointed to learn that their jewelry (with the exception of the jewelry youll be getting pierced with, which IS titanium) was all coated brass. For the prices they charge, I was disappointed to know that it didnt live up the quality, despite how cute the jewelry was. Would not recommend the jewelry unless you are looking for it to tarnish after a short amount of time. Even the silver looking jewelry is coated brass.Id recommend coming here as a significantly better piercing alternative to say somewhere like Claires or Piercing Pagoda, but do not recommend purchasing the jewelry, with the exception of the piercing jewelry you can get as mentioned. For that Id go to a local tattoo shop and pick out jewelry there instead. It will be higher quality and will definitely be worth the price.

Came here twice for different ear piercings this year. Both times they have been consistently awesome. Overall friendly & good vibes, professional behavior and atmosphere, sanitary practices, and they did their best to make sure the piercings were as symmetrically harmonious as possible. They even have stress relief squish balls for anxiety prone customers!The first piercings healed sooner than the recommended timeframe and with no infections or complications, though Ill have to update this review later on for the most recent ones (only got them done a couple of days ago). So far so good! I highly recommend STUDS Nolita, and certainly will return if I want other piercings done in the future.

Quick, easy and very professional piercing! Theyre only taking appointments due to Covid and they have all the safety measures (masks are required, temperature checks, etc). You get a consultation to pick your jewelry and the piercing is done in about 10 mins. Not really painful and very straightforward.

Legit places to get a piercing - the staff is friendly, down to earth, and professional. I havent had my ears pierced since I was little so I was nervous - I went in to have a snake bite (helix) piercing.I brought in a picture of what I wanted and the piercer, Ashley, walked me through what she would need to do in order to get the look. She helped calm me down, gave me the real talk about the pain level to expect, and explained everything she was doing while she was doing it.The place was clean and I never felt pressured to buy anything fancy - I chose the cheapest jewelry available. The piercing has healed well in the months since I got it although I was shocked at the amount of time it would take to fully heal (9-12 months).The cost for two piercings was $127 + tip. You will want the saline spray ($10) they sell - it will last you forever, even with daily use. This is random but I was pierced in the middle of the winter and felt like the cold weather was helpful dealing with the sting of it afterward. Youll probably need a travel pillow / donut-shaped pillow to sleep with for at least a few weeks to protect wherever your ear was pierced - this was a life saver for me.I would recommend and would use this spot again for another piercing.

The workers are nice and friendly! But if you are looking for long lasting jewelry, then STUDS is not the way to go. The jewelry is pretty but irritated my ears. They lasted me about a year until I tossed them out. Def a nice store but the quality is not up to standard.

They are a lovely piercing place. I do think very expensive and overpriced. You pay for the studs and earrings. I did four piercings on two separate visits. All together it was $200+ for the earrings, piercings and cleaning tool. Service excellent and they will ask if you are ok and how you want your things pierced and what not. I would say shop around and go elsewhere if you are on a budget or just can’t justify the spend. It was well worthy it.

Had a fantastic experience at a free apprentice piercing. Bella was extremely knowledgeable and warm, and the whole experience just felt like sitting and chatting with a friend. Hardly any pain at all from a lobe piercing. Every associate in the front of the store was friendly and helpful as well.

My friends and I came here without an appointment and the staff were so accommodating about it! We had to wait for slots in between other appointments, and they kept asking us if we needed anything and were just so so sweet! Highly highly recommend this place. Plus they were playing great music and had the aircon blasting on a hot summer day.

I got my rook pierced here in December and had a really great piercing experience. Piercing healed nicely so I went back for a jewelry change to a clicker hoop. The piercer wore gloves, but did not disinfect my ear before removing my current jewelry, nor did she disinfect after putting the new jewelry in. I asked if she had saline and she said it was not necessary. Its two days later and my piercing feels irritated and swollen.

STUDS was absolutely the best place to get my second piercing for the first time! Very clean bright and welcoming. Not rushed at all. My piercer walked me through it step by step, even telling me when to breath it and breath out to make it that much easier. So great! Will be back again ❤️

I loved getting my piercings done at studs. My piercer Ash was super sweet and gentle while doing this service. Can’t wait to go back and get more!! Also they take walk ins if they have open availability if anyone’s wondering just keep in mind they tend to get booked up quickly.

The staff at the Studs Nolita location are excellent! They fit me in as a walk in and gave me great advice on another piercing to complement the daith I wanted. Tula talked me through the entire process and I can say out of my 7+ piercings, these have been my most comfortable ones.

Ive never heard of STUDS but really badly wanted a second lobe piercing. I managed to find an appointment day of and I loved it! The customer service was amazing and everyone was so sweet and nice. The piercing went great and the after care package they give is really nice (It came with stickers and everything). Would definitely come back when I am ready for my flat helix!!

Highly recommend! Ive gone to several piercing places over the years, and this has by far been my best experience, even in NYC. Piercing appointments here are always booked a few months out, so I thought it might be a bit of a wait given how busy they are, but it was so efficient! I was in and out with two new piercings in less than 15 minutes. From check-in, to my piercing, everything was seamless, and Ash did an excellent job on both of my piercings. Ive seen some complaints about pricing, but I find Studs pricing to be very fair for the NYC piercing & jewelry market. Ive spent more for less high quality jewelry and a single piercing - both of which took quite a bit longer and happened in a much less welcoming environment. Would definitely recommend this Studs location, but plan your piercing a few months in advance, this is not the last minute kind of place. Worth the wait though!! I will definitely be back, thanks Studs Nolita team!

I’ve been following STUDS online since launch, so as soon as I had a post-pandemic trip to the States it was top of my list for places to visit! Didn’t get pierced on this visit (planning to for my next trip tho!) but did a few earrings which I love. Staff are so nice and helpful and I love the packaging too. Such great pieces and I can’t wait to come back for the whole experience soon!

Love!! Highly recommend. Trendy & fun space - yet clean and professional! I was very nervous (as always :P) but Ash made the entire process so QUICK! and so EASY! and so COMFORTABLE! Honestly, it was as painless as a piercing could be. Ive had the best experience healing so far too, not much pain at all. She did a great job.

I went twice in the last two weeks and both experiences were great! When you walk in you sign a release form, pick out and your jewelry and your piercer comes out to get you within about five minutes. The whole experience at max takes about 20 minutes. They explain what they are doing when they are doing it and give great instructions for aftercare. They also do free piercings if you have a student or someone in training, which is great if youre cost conscious!The only thing that could have been better is the first time I went I had a standard piercer with students in the room observing. For this appointment I was charged the normal piercing rates. However, for the second session, I also had a trained piercer and students in the room but was not charged for the piercing. It doesnt make sense that I had the same experience a week apart but was charged for one service and not the other.

The experience was amazing! It was my first piercings ever and they were extremely helpful and had amazing tips for healing. The piercer was very gentle and patient with me. I will definitely come back for my next piercings.

I had a positive experience piercing my ears at Studs, and would recommend it to my friends. The shop was bright and clean, and I did not have to wait since I had an appointment (which I had to make more than a month in advance). The piercings were relatively painless and I felt like I was in experienced, professional, friendly hands - Ava was my piercer! Prices seemed reasonable, especially for NYC.

I got two piercings here about a week ago and the workers were very friendly and professional! I definitely plan on coming back for more piercings in the future! My only complaint is that the floors were kinda dirty in the waiting areas of the store. I noticed while I sat at the front and back benches that there was dirt, hair, and dust on the floors. Aside from that, this place is so cute!

I came here for a conch piercing expecting it to be more complicated, and found that it was one of the most painless piercings I have ever received, and has been healing so easily.I was hesitant to try this place as I the branding seemed kind of click-bate-y but Im so glad I did and I wish all my piercings had been done here.The staff is so friendly and welcoming, and clearly incredibly knowledgable about their craft. They are great about communicating and touching base with you before you piercing and talk you though the whole experience.Ive been everywhere from doctors offices, to Claires to tattoo shops, and this was by far the best and most relaxing piercing experience Ive ever had.

I was visiting the city and needed to kill some time when I came across Studs. They miraculously had a same day appointment that lined up with my schedule so I impulsively booked the appointment. I am so happy I did. I got a daith and helix piercing with Ash and it went really smoothly. She was so friendly and calming. She talked me through the entire process as she was doing it, letting me know when to breathe what to expect, and where she was in the process. Once the piercings were done I looked around and purchased some additional earrings for my existing piercings. They had a great selection, really friendly staff, and I felt like it was clean and comfortable inside. I’d love to stop in for more on future trips into the city and will continue shopping online in the meantime.

I went to get pierced with a friend and her appointment was an hour before mine but Ava took us at the same time which I really appreciated. Ive been going to Studs for a couple years now for not only piercing appointments but for jewelry shopping. It can be difficult to get an appointment in the near future, so its best to plan ahead. But the studio is very clean and organized. And Ive always felt valued by the staff. The piercers are cool and calm and always make me feel comfortable.

I decided to get my ears pierced and after walking in was able to get a same-day appointment. Everyone was very nice and helpful answering my questions and the piercing was quick and easy. It was quite expensive (mostly because I wanted the gold piercing jewelry), but I’m happy with the experience and I’ll keep wearing the earrings even after my piercing has healed.

Went to get pierced at STUDS for a second time (both at Nolita) and it was another seamless, perfect experience! Ashley, my piercer, was so gentle and the piercing was about as painless as punching a hole in your ear could be! I will def be back. Plus, the studs themselves are really affordable. All in all, a 10/10 experience.

Overall good experience! Team was all very nice, facility was clean, I was in and out in ~15 min. Helix piercing cost me around $100 total—$35 for labor, $30 for jewelry, $20 tip (per the posted rec at the counter, seems kind of high to me in retrospect), $9 for saline spray for aftercare cleaning. Felt a little rushed picking the jewelry they would be doing the piercing with, and I wish they’d given more detailed aftercare instructions and walked through it in person in addition to just written instructions. Fairly minor complaints, though—I would return for future piercings!

The friendliest experience I’ve ever had getting pierced. Everyone is super kind and sweet, but especially my piercer Tula! And it was so quick and easy it felt like running an errand which I loved. No big production. Already have my next three piercings planned and can’t wait to go back

I’ve been wanting to check off my bucket list to have additional piercings on my earlobe for a while.I’ve finally summoned the courage to do so and I’m glad Studs made it so pleasant and seamless!Not only it was an ultra-cool ear bar but the girls at the store were friendly and helpful in explaining the entire piercing process and was apologetic when my scheduled appointment ran over.Jess my piercer was the best. She was patient, professional and the piercing itself was instant with minimal pain.My healing process is going well, and I can’t wait to go back for more piercings!

Loved my time at Studs!! I am a big supporter of helping others learn and get better so I went with an apprentice appt. My piercer was super sweet, professional and informative! I got to meet the manager who supervised the piercings and it was all such a smooth process. I got my second hole repierced at Studs, and this was the first time I was pierced with a straight needle (the first time was done with a gun). My piercer made me feel very comfortable and prepared and it didnt hurt at all. I am looking forward to coming back to Studs for a follow up appointment in a few months and to get a third hole (or snake bites!) done.

The shop was very clean and everyone was very helpful/friendly. My issue is that the girl (Sharla) piercing me was learning and that’s not the issue, but she kept calling me Jade (my name is Hannah, so not even close) so I don’t think she really checked to see who she was piercing. She also struggled with my piercing, I got my conch done and I’ve had friends tell me before that it’s a little pinch or it doesn’t hurt at all, but it was SO painful. She pushed the needle through so slowly. It’s day three of having my new piercing and I’ve been in constant pain. I clean it and I know I’m not sleeping on it because I can’t sleep at all because of the pain. I’ve had piercings before, in more painful spots and this is the worst I’ve ever felt. It’s not that I wouldn’t recommend this shop, I would just get someone who’s more experienced. It was not really a good experience for me.

Loved my piercing. I got my first piercing done elsewhere and I wasnt satisfied. This place was budget friendly and my piercer (Tula) did a great job on my helix. I wish I came here first. Ill definitely come back here to get my third set.

I had a great experience at Studs--it has been about a week since I got pierced and my ear is healing up nicely! I was a walk in and they were fully booked, but fit me in to a cancellation. While the whole experience was quick and efficient; I did not feel rushed at all, there was plenty of time to talk to the piercer and select jewelry. My piercer, Tula, did an excellent job explaining every step of the process as well as the aftercare. I wont be in town when it is time to switch to a shorter backing, so Tula gave me the backing and took the time to show me how to change it out myself. The staff was patient and warm with everyone who came in to the shop while I was there. I would definitely go back if I decide I need another piercing!

The store is cool and in a great location. I had a piercing change that didnt go as planned (where I gad it pierced not at studs) made it difficult to put in the hoop I wanted. I was disappointed, but the new piercing is fine, I will probably go back to switch it again. I had my second hole pierced and it was easy and I love the earring! Overall, good experience and will go back or order new earrings from their site!

First time going to Studs and first time getting my ears pierced! I had 2 lobe piercings and Im glad to say that I left with a positive experience. I love how they use piercing needles instead of guns, which is so much more accurate and almost pain-free. My piercer made sure to pinpoint the exact placement I wanted for my earrings.Ill definitely come back to Studs again for a lobe or even helix piercing in the future.

Everyone working here is very friendly and helpful. It can definitely get busy and chaotic in the shop but the staff always take the time to answer questions. Payten was my piercer and she was great! Talked me through every step and made the whole process quick but personal. Will definitely be going back for another piercing. Just make sure you book ahead, I booked mine one month in advance.

Love my new lobe piercings from Studs! They have super cute piercing jewelry options. They staff is helpful and answered all of my questions. I plan on going back in a couple months to get pierced again!!! Wouldn’t consider going anywhere else!

Visiting Studs was so pleasant and fun, the staff greeted us right away and asked if we needed help with anything. The jewelry selection is super cute and dainty while also being great quality. A little limited on the silver jewelry options, but hopefully they’ll expand the collection soon! I will definitely be buying more earrings soon! :)

I got two piercing done and it went absolutely so smoothly!!! The piercer was extremely nice and was so fast. I was in there for 15 mins and got two piercing done. I highly recommend getting your ears pierced here.

Great experience! Got my first holes done with a friend who was getting her 4th and 5th. The atmosphere and service were great for both of us in different situations. Came here to get my upper lobes. I had been following Studs on instagram for awhile so I was happy to hear when they opened in Soho. They have great options for piercings, ranging from $30 to $130 depending on your choice of design and/or silver/gold/titanium. Definitely recommend scheduling an appointment prior to coming as they are usually booked. I came on a Friday and was able to book an appointment for Sunday so its usually a quick turnaround tho! I waited maybe 10 minutes after checking in, filling out my waiver, choosing a piercing and letting my piercer get set up. They take you into one of the rooms in the back for privacy. Ash was my piercer and she was super cool and knew what was she was doing. They pierced with a pin and the earrings are flatbacks so theyre comfortable to sleep on which Im so thankful for! I purchased Saline for $9 as well to help clean my piercings. Also I got some cute stickers, a punch card and a coupon scratch off for my purchase! Overall I would 100% go back to Studs to get a piercing or to just shop as they have various stylish designs!

Best piercing experience Ive ever had! I have a total of 7 piercings on my ear now and getting my tragus pierced here was the best. First if all the store is very aesthetician and modern and it feels like Im just at another store shopping. I was not nervous at all. Secondly everyone here is super nice and my piercer was super amazing. She explained every step she was going to do and spoke in a very gentle and calm soothing voice. She took her time to make sure everything was how I wanted it to be. As for the piercing itself, I got my tragus pierced and yea it does hurt. It literally feels like being pierced by a needle BUT! The pain literally lasts for a second and it over and then it just feels like weird pressure and some tugging sensations as the earring is put in. I think the price is great and the service even better. Definitely come here for all your piercing needs!

First time going to Studs and had a great experience! Been a while since I had any new piercings, and appreciated their advice. Lots of reasonably priced piercing jewelry to choose from, and my peircer, Sage, was very friendly and helpful in deciding which piercings to get/in what order over multiple sessions. Ended up getting double forward helix piercings, which Im really happy with and seem to be healing well so far. Excited to go back once healed to downsize and get a couple more done!

Ive been to Studs twice for piercings and I always see Sage! She is lovely, so professional, and easy to contact when I was freaking out about one of my earrings falling out. I DMd her and she was able to see me quickly to replace the jewelry & also answered my questions about post-piercing care. Ive referred all my friends to see her! I had an amazing experience going to get new lobe piercings after a 15+ year hiatus. The front staff were accommodating when I decided to do two instead of one, and my piercer (also Ava) walked me through the details and was extremely reassuring. I am so happy I can’t stop looking at them in the mirror!

Super overpriced for poor quality jewelry. I got my daith less than a year ago with them and even spent way more money just to get the gold ring. ($150 for a 14k 10mm gold-plated clicker)Yesterday while taking a phone call the ring popped out and when I finally was able to get it back in, I realized that it no longer closes.Ended up having to leave the open clicker in my ear until I was able to buy new jewelry. Huge waste of money for an earring that only last a few months.They have some really cute jewelry here. But the price versus the quality is so bad. Would not recommend it.

I love this place for my piercings. I believe they are reasonably priced and the staff has been super cool and kind and helpful when I have visited. This time when I went, I told my piercer where I wanted my piercings. She proceeded to mark it without asking me where Id want the earring exactly or asked me to double check the placement they marked. I checked on my own and it was fine enough, however I would have liked if the person asked me beforehand. Other than that, it was a good time and I definitely will be visting Studs again :)

Got my conch pierced here and they did a great job! I have thick cartilage and tend to bleed, but my piercer did a great job of cleaning me up and sending me on my way! Will definitely be back.

I needed to have some help with taking out my cartilage earring after I tried it myself and failed 😂 STUDS made it so easy with their professional tool and everything. Service was great. I bought a huggie from them for my cartilage earring and it looked really pretty. The price was not bad at all compared to other piercing studios in NYC. Will definitely recommend to anyone who wants any sort of piercing service around the city.

I went to get a fourth piercing and it was great. the workers there were super nice and my piercer was great. she was welcoming and warm and made me felt comfortable. it was super easy, i got to look at the look book to find what i wanted, chose an earring, and then got it done. it was super easy in and out and the experience was great. totally recommend.

I got two helix piercings stacked on top of each other. The lower one was pierced just fine but I ended up taking the upper one out because it was pierced at an angle. The piercer and staff members were really nice, piercings were a good price, but only one of my two piercings was done well. I recommend only getting one piercing at once there.

My experience was great. Went in for conch piercing and it was done so quickly and professionally that I barely felt the pain. Its now the second day and I dont see any swelling. I love the merch they give, and received plenty info on aftercare. Just hope they have more selection of solid gold jewelries.

As far as customer service goes, this place is great; everyone was super kind, helpful, and accommodating despite me being a few minutes late to my appointment. Given, the process was super super fast & not as ~personal~ as many of the other piercing studios I’ve been to. Would fully recommend this place for lobe piercings or if you’re used to getting piercings and know what to expect. I feel like you do get what you pay for, so if you’re looking for an in-depth & personalized experience...maybe go elsewhere. Regardless, my experience was nothing but good & I would fully recommend studs for anyone looking to get a quick lil piercing in a super friendly environment!!

I had a great experience getting my conch pierced at Studs by Ava. The space was very clean, everyone was professional, and Ava was a fantastic piercer — from helping me pick the perfect piercing jewelry to walking me step-by-step through aftercare. Everyone is different, but for me, the actual piercing itself didn’t hurt much and after a few days later my piercing is still healing beautifully. I’ll definitely return to Studs for my jewelry change (and maybe another piercing) once I’m all healed up!

I was researching what piercing shops are still open with covid and piercing shops are only allowing people to come by appointment only so I was bummed this place was booked. They had a number that you can text on their website and I decided to text the day of and asked if there were any time slots that opened up and I was given two so I picked and I went and truly was the best experience I’ve ever had getting my ear pierced. Now my ear has quite a lot of piercings and I have dealt with numerous piercers, but I loved the overall ambience and how nice everyone was. Jess was my piercer and she pierced my conch and replaced a couple earrings for me. The pain was bearable and super quick. Jess was so nice and super helpful for giving me advice on where I could find earrings for certain parts of the ear that they either didn’t have in stock or had a limited selection. Tip of the day: They do offer student discounts if you’re a student! I’ll be coming back soon to buy some more jewelry and who knows might get another piercing! Thanks Studs! 🙂

Cool spot, I got my first ever piercings (cartilage). Everyone gave helpful advice every step of the process, and my piercer, Sage, was super chill. The location was super clean as well, a lot better than some of the tattoo parlors I’ve been to in the area. There was a good amount of jewelry for men, and prices were affordable. Would return!

The cutest spot for earrings! I got the heart locket huggie as a pair (they sell them individually so you can mix & match!!) and they’re the sweetest thing. So many options that fit your style. They attended to us so quickly even through they were busy. They also gifted me some cute stickers and a little pouch!! Thanks folks!

I booked an appointment with their apprentice program!! You pay for the jewelry being used but the piercing service itself is free! Had a wonderful time getting pierced by Camile ! I got a tragus and forward helix done with 2 $30 titanium studs that were also 20% off! Highly recommend this place :)

I do not recommend getting a daith from Studs. A little while ago, I got a daith piercing from Studs Nolita and it was unable to properly heal due to bad judgement on the part of the piercer. I have had three separate piercers look over my daith piercing and all three have said the same thing: the angle of the actual piercing is incredibly awkward and given my anatomy, they would not have performed a daith piercing. I spent a lot of money and time to perform the proper aftercare and ensure that my piercing healed properly— but all of that was wasted because the piercing wasn’t done in a way that would ever allow it to heal.

I recently got two piercings done by Casey and had an amazing experience. I arrived at 1:30 for a 1:40 appointment and left by 1:45PM! When you arrive, you scan a QR code to fill out a waiver, your piercer asks which piercing jewelry you want, then you go to the piercing room to get pierced, checkout, and youre done! And of course, left with a little cute pouch with my aftercare instructions and stickers. Will come again in the future for additional piercings!

After seeing studs on social media, i made an appointment at the nolita location to get two piercings. one of my ears is a little wonky - it has a fold in the lobe - and when i got my ears pierced the first time they put the hole in a weird spot, low on the lobe. 20 years later, i decided to get it fixed - and studs did a great job! friendly atmosphere, great jewelry selection, and everything feels clean and safe. will definitely be going back for more piercings and jewelry!

I got my first cartilage piercing here at Studs Nolita! The staff was so friendly and helpful and their COVID precautions made me feel like that wasnt a huge risk. My piercer, Rebecca, was quick, clean, and professional and gave me so much information to keep my piercing clean and healthy. I waited to write this review in case my piercing got infected but it did not! If you listen to their instructions, your piercing will heal so nicely! I had a fantastic experience thanks to the staff! I definitely recommend Studs Nolita for your piercing needs!

Absolutely love the pair of huggies I got at Studs! I wear them almost everyday. They are so comfortable that I don’t really need to ever take them out - can sleep and shower in them. I got a lot of compliments on them also. Ladies were very nice at the Nolita shop!

Misread my appointment time, arrived exactly 4 minutes late and they told me there was a 5 minute late policy and said they couldn’t see me anymore. There’s no phone number to call to let anyone know you’re late, or that you need to cancel because you’re 30 seconds late or whatever, so you just show up disappointed. They’re booked solid for months even though you walk in and it’s basically empty and there’s like 4 people at the counter to greet you. I guess it’s popular because Kaia Gerber went here once? The hype is (in my opinion) a little out of whack. The jewelry is cute and prices decent but this late policy is super dumb and overall this seems to be one of those weird SoHo businesses whose model is dependent on an aura of exclusivity.

My friend and I went in to get our ears pierced at the beginning of January and did a lot of research on the place before booking an appointment slot. While booking it online, I noticed that there was an option to have two people in one appointment, which I thought meant that one price would cover both of us ($50 for two piercings, for two people was my assumption). I then sent in a question to customer service to clarify this, to which they replied vaguely that yes, two people could get their ears pierced in one appointment. We still went and got our ears pierced, but to our surprise had to pay full price separately for each of us. Disappointing, misleading, and expensive.My piercings turned out fine, I was getting a second piercing on each of my lobes for context. However, they messed up my friends piercings, which were her first. Overall not a great experience and I would not recommend this place to anyone, especially people who are inexperienced with ear piercings.Seems like a place more prioritized on their aesthetic than on the quality.

I get there around 6:55 and the door is locked. The people inside roll their eyes, come to the door and tell me they’re closed. I say I just want to buy replacement jewelry and leave. They say they closed their registers and counted the merchandise already.The store closes at 7pm. Being that I work in retail as well, I found this incredibly unprofessional. I was never allowed to close the doors or register early.This is after my studs earring became loose and got lost and then I had another earring where the opal fell out. Not only is the service bad but the jewelry is low quality too. Don’t pay for the jewelry and go somewhere else for quality!

First time getting my ears pierced. Staff was extremely kind and helped give their opinion on what earring to pick out. The lady piercing my ears was hilarious and made the whole experience great!

In the age of COVID, where transparency is paramount, Studs explained what the process is and how they protect their clients and themselves. I’m coming back here to get another piercing!

Went in to find some jewellery, was greeted by none of the 3 sales assistants in the store who seemed to be having a great time amongst themselves. Stood there for a few minutes after saying hello, then left.

I have come to studs 4 times in the last 2 months. it’s sickening. LOL. i love this place. every single earring on my ear is from here.literally just left the place and bought two more. and about to go back because i saw something online that i fell in love with.

I will never go back to the dark lit piercing spots to be pierced by a grizzly man !! Studs has such a trendy look to it and a cozy atmosphere. They have a ton of freebies such as stickers and candies. The jewelry selection is so unique and wont break your wallet. I got two piercings and they went incredibly smooth! It seems that this place has an all female team which just makes it even more amazing ! It truly is a great spot for those who want a safe piercing experience

Got two additional ear piercings with Studs, and the piercer, Ava, was absolutely fantastic! Didnt feel anything. Good COVID-19 safety protocols in place, and very large choice of piercing jewelry. Highly recommend

Walked in and the counter girl was on her phone. No one acknowledged me coming in and once she looked up at me, she rolled her eyes and told me she needed to take my temperature. She takes my temperature and immediately is back on her phone. Her attitude sent me out the door, not to mention everything is gold PLATED. Much rather would go to the accredited piercing studio around the corner. Much nicer staff and better quality jewelry.

I alway have a great experience at Studs. Grateful to get piercings I am confident will turn out just fine. I have gotten five piercing so far and each one has healed tremendously.

Really great experience! I got my 2nd lobe piercings from Kelsea, who was really sweet and also helpful on some irritation with another piercing I had from earlier. The deal is amazing and the jewelry is super cute!

Just had 2 piercings and an exchange with Jess. What a pleasantv experience . From the minute you walk in to leaving. EVERYONE was so friendly and helpful. My piercer Jess was frantastic . She walked you through every step of your piercing. I just love my new additions to my ear. Thank you . If you have the ability to go anytime for an appt check periodically for cancellations. Let me tell you, EVERYONE SHOULD GET THEIR EARS PIERCED AT THIS PLACE (especially the one in nolita)! When you first walk in, the ambience is super trendy and friendly. Also, very COVID safe. My piercer, Ashley, was sweet and talked me through everything even down to how my piercing should be properly taken care of. She is also great at giving recommendations towards what piercing may suit you best. It is a bit on the pricier side but I didn’t mind because the quality of what you are getting from the piercing to the jewelry is top notch! Will always go here for more from now on.

This place is chic and trendy but im not as satisfied as i thought I’d be. I got my second holes pierced and they are crooked at an angle. They go at a slant and makes putting in new earrings feel awkward. Also, my piercing has not healed after 7 months. Not sure if this has anything to do with how the piercing is angled, but wanted to put that out there. I saline everyday.

Like stepping into a futuristic candy store! The jewelry selection is on pointtt and I adore my new conch piercing by Sage. She did an amazing job at making the experience smooth and painless and was very thoughtful with helping me find the right piece. Will be returning for more sparkly things :)

Studs is a revolutionary place for ear piercings in 2019! The shop is clean and cute, the piercers were friendly and experienced, and the jewelry is beautiful and reasonably priced. I got my second lobe piercings (they only use needles which is great) and was so happy with my experience. No more going to Claire’s or St Marks - this is your spot for new piercings and earscapes!

Studs is so wonderful! I got a 4th hole but also I had two holes I thought had closed and they helped me open up and pick out cute pieces to go in them. The process is quick and super clean! Will likely keep piercing more parts because of how much I enjoy going to studs.
