STUDS Rockefeller Center

My experience at this store was phenomenal. I’m so sorry in advance for forgetting the teams name. However, the woman working the front area was so kind and had the best suggestions for jewelry. She was clear with pricing, timeframe, and put my worries at ease. The person who did the ear piercing was super kind and professional. They were able to pierce both my ears with the jewels I wanted. I’m even thinking about going back and getting more since it went so well. ❣️

I stumbled upon this place while walking around town and decided I wanted to get my seconds done here, from the moment I walked in, I felt so welcomed in there! I was pierced by Gab and he was so wonderful and made me feel so comfortable getting it done, he walked me through every step and overall it was just such a good experience! The jewelry and service are both so high quality, would definitely recommend!

My friends and I stumbled into this store today while out exploring NYC. We expected to look at jewelry, but had no idea they also did piercings. I replaced the jewelry in my conch with a 14k gold piece that would have cost me double the price at a piercing shop and they installed it for me. One of my friends got her lobes pierced and the other ended up picking out a selection of really cute studs. The staff were SO helpful and so patient with us while we made our choices. Shout out to the staff at this location - Makayla, Corinne, Elio and team. You guys were the highlight of our trip!

My first time getting my ear pierced here and it was awesome! I was very nervous but have always wanted to get my ear pierced. After i was explained how they pierce and the whole process i went through with my piercing. Everyone who works here is very welcoming. They help you out to figure out what piercing would look best. My piercer Gab was awesome he reassured me and helped me relax before my piercing. I will absolutely be coming back and will definitely recommend to friends and family. Thank you everyone!

I got three piercings with Mickey. She was beyond kind and made me feel so comfortable in her chair. She guided me through every step of the way as she pierced my daith, flat and stacked lobe. I would 100% recommend you go see her if you want a piercing! My photos are immediately after piercing so they’re a little red!

My experience with STUDS was amazing. It was my first helix piercing and flat helix piercing. I was nervous about getting it pierced since I heard horror stories! I was greeted by Mikayla and Bella and they were so welcoming! Mikayla took her time to explain the different piercings on an ear and offered professional suggestions on where certain piercings are better for placement, healing periods, and pain levels. I loved how they sold titanium piercings because most shops do not have this and titanium has higher rates of healing than silver does. I was originally only going to get one piercing but Mikayla did her job in sharing how 2 will be better. Haha! I showed Mikayla the vision I had for the jewelry (the moon piercing and thunderbolt) and Bella was able to make it come to life. The piercing room was clean and sterilized. She eased my worries and it was a quick process. There were two other staff members who were very friendly and helpful. Courtney was a burst of enthusiasm. Donte provided input on how jewelry can be switched out with their other STUDS jewelry and even shared there will be new jewelry coming out! I absolutely will be returning.Post piercing update: it has been healing accordingly!!

I had a mostly positive experience getting pierced at Studs. The procedural experience was great. My piercer Cami took time to discuss the placement and made sure I was happy, made me feel assured, and even coached my breathing through the process. I felt I was in great hands and am happy with the result. What was disappointing is that I made an appointment and still waited 30 minutes to be seen. The reason this was particularly frustrating is because I had a lot of nerves going into this so having to wait an additional 30 minutes created unnecessary anxiety which is not the best preparation for bodily piercing! I did ask if I was double booked or if there is normally two piercers because I feel double booking is intentionally bad customer service and had I known that was protocol, would have selected a different time. I was not given a straight answer. And to clarify, I was the first appointment time slot upon store opening and arrived at the door before they were even unlocked. Would revisit for another piercing, just sharing for awareness.

I had an amazing experience here! Everyone is super friendly and helpful. I got my helix pierced by Cami and it was the best experience ever. She explained everything thoroughly and walked me through the entire process. The piercing was completely painless and turned out just the way Id hoped! Incredible service!

Stumbled upon Studs today and I was planning on getting pierced at the location in D.C. but decided to get pierced at the Rockefeller center instead! I want to start by saying this was my best experience getting piercings and I got my 11 and 12th here today! Cami was my piercer and was absolutely amazing! I initially came in wanting a double forward helix but Cami took the time to explain my ear anatomy and what piercings would be better. I ended up getting my tragus and flat helix pierced and switched out my conch for a gold hoop. I was so impressed by Cami, Amen, and the Studs team! Cami and Amen were so knowledgeable about the jewelry, ear anatomy and piercings all together. I would 100% recommend coming to the Studs Rockefeller center to get pierced! Definitely work with Amen and Cami, they are such a good time and such kind people!!!! :)

Edited to add: it has been a few months now and they royally messed up my helix. It was dont too close to the edge and it now has a bump. I removed the earring. The only thing they did properly was reopen my lobe from when I was a child. Horrible experiance and waste of money.I made an appointment same day and was seen quickly. The process was easy front staff was friendly although a bit chatty. I had to reopen my lobe and opted to also get a lower helix. This was all ok. The helix piercing is a little bit off and should have been more centered. My issue was with my jewelry change. I swapped out two barbells that are over 10 yrs pierced. The 2nd one is way too tight and I should have been informed that the post was not long enough for the angle. Instead she pushed it so tight that my ear is swollen and I cannot remove the jewelry without assistance. I sent an email and have no response from customer service. It is more painful than the actual new piercings. I will likely have to go to a more professional tattoo and body piercing studio and pay someone else to rectify this before it gets infected. Be warned. Customer service is nonexistent.

I have a fear of needles and but ive always wanted more ear piercings and im glad i splurged here!! i was very anxious to get 4 piercings at once because i used to think it was very painful and i have a very low pain tolerance but i needed to get them all at once or id never get any again. im glad i picked STUDS almost two weeks ago, Bella was my piercer!! i came in anxious but i left feeling like i was a new person out of therapy because now i feel confident in getting more cartilage piercings. i got 1 helix and 2 lobes on my right and my 3rd lobe repierce on my left. Bella was incredibly engaging i felt better because of the chit chatting and the breathing exercise worked for me! the helix (which i was scared to get) didnt hurt and its healing fine! the lobes were also fine and i like that they ask if i needed a break but i speedran my 4 piercings. I will be coming back hopefully

I decided to get my first piercing here and Amy and Ellen could not have been more friendly and accommodating! They happily answered every question I had and helped me pick out a stud. Amy made sure to explain everything she was doing during the piercing and made it a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Might just have to build a whole Earscape!

I could not speak more highly of my experience here if I tried! we made appointments about a week out and showed up 5 minutes early. the check in and waiver process was very simple. our piercer, Amy, took us back into a private room and with sterilized tools did our piercings. i was a full grown adult getting her very first piercing done and she could not have been more patient and accommodating. it was really better than I ever dreamed the experience to be. amy was extremely particular with the placement and was sure to explain what was happening each step of the way, which is something you don’t find everywhere. she educated us on the jewelry they had and we picked out cute studs. the entire studio was so clean and stylish, and a very welcoming environment. if I ever decide on more piercings I will be coming here/going to Amy wherever she is. 100/10!

The piercer was great. However, it is crystal clear they do not care to give you any assistance if there are any issues. I had a swollen helix piercing that I figured I should have looked at and was brushed off in front of new customers and blamed for the swelling. Specifically, the young man who is behind the counter was awful.

The staff at Studs Rockefeller Center is great! The helped our group understand our options and understand the process. They are professional and careful to limit any pain. We all got exactly what we wanted.

I had a great experience getting my first piercing! Amin was super helpful picking out studs and Cami did a perfect job with the placement and piercings!

Walked by and on impulse decided to get pierced with my mom and my aunt. Immediately, Makayla welcomed us in, answering any questions we had. The place was very clean and professional. Amy, the piercer, recommended earrings and piercing types based on each of our ear anatomy. She even lent us a stress ball during the procedure. Ellen checked us out and gave us little goodie bags. Overall, it was an amazing exerience and even as sudden walk-ins, we were in and out in a blink of an eye! Super friendly staff who are informed on what they are doing. Highly recommend!

A little pricey but then again I chose the pricier options lol had a great experience. Quick process and great customer service. I got the tragus and snake bites
