Walked in to upper east side location with my daughters and we all decided to get some kind of ear piercing. Everyone was friendly, patient & professional! It was the most relaxing and positive experience. We loved chatting with everyone else who came in. It was a really happy atmosphere. We are thrilled with our piercings and jewelry and memories! ✨

My friend and I scheduled an appointment on Friday afternoon and I must say it was a great way to end the week! We both got pierced by Corinne and she was so delightful. She was so gentle and also just showed so much excitement for both of us. So did the gentleman who checked us in when we arrived. Definitely make an appointment! This place has such good vibes and also a solid playlist! I would absolutely recommend this place whether you’re a piercing rookie or a vet!

I’m a local at the location in Wynwood, and I was just visiting New York and I popped in to look for some new earrings to elevate my stack and everyone was SO nice! They had so much patience with me trying to figure out which earrings I wanted to get and I have to say I am beyond pleased with my new stacks!

The staff at STUDS Upper East Side are always so nice! Ive gotten more than three piercings from them (so far) and definitely plan on more. Theyre always clean, answer all your questions, and give you advice on what placement works best for your ear shape. If you needed a sign to get another piercing, this is it 👂🏻✨

We had an amazing time at this STUDS location! Tammy is the absolute sweetest and her service was top notch as we waited to get pierced. In addition to piercing, we also had jewelry switched out and had fun picking jewelry to style. Our piercer was very fast and made the experience super comfortable for us.We were there for quite awhile so by the time we were done, the whole team was still jolly and joking around with us and we were sad to leave. They personnel was absolutely the sweetest! I got the Helix pierced and it wasn’t painful as I feared it was going to be! The girl doing my piercing literally gave me a stress ball to bring down my nerves and was super nice about explaining the after care! This was such a good experience and I can’t wait to come back for more piercings 😌💕

This was my first visit to Studs. I was warmly greeted and assisted in choosing my earrings for piercing. Liv is the OG piercer...she really knows her stuff. She answered all my questions with patience and explained everything as she was going along. HIGHLY recommend her and this location. Clean. Well-lit. Excellent service.

Wow, our experience with Studs is a model of phenomenal customer service. I had the pleasure of frequenting both their Rock Center and Hudson Yards locations and both were outstanding. Such well informed, intelligent and just downright the most pleasant staff I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing.I’d highly recommend them for anyone who is looking for professional, supportive team to ease you into the process.

The staff here is knowledgeable and friendly, it’s very clean and I really like the jewelry options. They’re very easy to put ear designs together, it’s well worth the price!

I have gotten Sooo many piercings in NYC (live by the sword, Rowan, etc) and STUDS is by far the best place I’ve gone to for piercings. I have over 12 piercings between both ears so I have quite a bit of experience in various piercing studios and piercers, and STUDS is definitely the cutest studio, amazing jewelry selection and prices, super friendly and welcoming staff, and the piercing nurses were so knowledgeable and made me very comfortable through the whole process.Typically I make an appointment, but I did a last minute walked in and they were so accommodating to be able to fit me in to do my flat helix (lightening bolt).I never felt rushed and you can tell they know what they are doing and they care.I will most definitely be coming back to get more piercings and getting my post changed here. And bring all my friends here too!I’m so so obsessed with my new piercing and already can’t wait to go back!! Thank you Connie for doing such an amazing job!!

Only go here for a lobe piercing.I got a lobe and conch piercing, the lobe is fine the conch has been super difficult. For the past 2 months it has hurt so badly. Last night the back of the earring randomly fell off and I noticed a large painful lump on the back of my ear. When the jewelry fell out I noticed it was a very short post and a very tiny gauge. I went to a more reputable (in my opinion) piercing studio to get it fixed and they told me my healing has been so difficult because of how poorly the jewelry was placed. I had to have it re pierced and sized up. The original jewelry did not leave any room for swelling and the back was not on securely. This seems like they are not following the fundamentals of piercing. The studio was clean and the staff was friendly but this has left a bad taste in my mouth.

Had such an amazing experience at the UES Studs location! First time piercing in a verrrrry long time and can’t believe I did the first two with a piercing gun. This approach was a game changer. Everything was so clean and seamless and their selection of earrings is fabulous. Highly recommend!

Great experience every time at this location. I came in today for a post downsizing on my cartilage piercing after 5 months. I previously went to Hudson Yards location for downsizing a month ago and had a less than desirable experience. My piercer today, Liv, was great! She took the time to explain why I still can’t change the post Instead of just telling me no and kicking me out. I highly recommend this location and this will be my go to from now on even though it’s a little further for me.

I Love Love my new piercings!!! Also the stag was very informative and friendly! The environment was very comfortable and my piercer Ashley is such a sweet heart and gentle! I plan to go back for a few more piercings!!

I came to NYC on Friday to run Brooklyn Half marathon. To honor my running experience, I really wanted to get an ear piercing and tattoo before leaving. We all know how hard it is to have things done in big cities without any prior appointments. So when I arrived to NJ on Sunday, i asked my friends daughters in their 20s if they knew any good places that do an ear piercing, that also may require no or very short noticed appointment. One of them recommended Studs. She said the place was very hygienic in her experience, which was exactly what i needed. So since i was going to visit Central Park on Monday, i wanted something close by. After some googling, we have discovered that Studs has a branch that is close to Central Park. I was really happy, but I was worried if I would be able to make an appointment with such short notice. So i have decided to try my luck and visited them on Monday afternoon and was able to book an appointment for the next day. I was thrilled and appointment making process was very easy and smooth. After making my appointment, I received an email as well as a text message explaining what to expect and what to do or not to do prior your appointment such as eating before appointment and not drinking alcoholic beverages before appointment, which I found super helpful. When i arrived to my appointment, i was greeted by super friendly staffs and waiver signing process was super easy. Though to sign your waiver, they ask you to scan a QR code, so make sure your phone can do that or does that. After signing my waiver, i was waiting on their chair that is inside and taking selfies in their super cute mirror (please see photos). Soon after, i was greeted by a really kind and friendly staff who introduced herself and explained that i will be called in after she has completed preparing the equipment. Oh before that, one super friendly staff came by and asked me to choose a stud for my piercing. Until that, I didnt realize you have to have special high quality material stud for your piercing, not just any jewelry. So that was good to know. When the actual piercing time has arrived, everything including what to expect, what theyre doing etc were very clearly communicated, which I appreciated so much. The process was super smooth. I had two piercings in one side of my ear and there were two staffs in the room. For the first one, one staff did it and for the second one, another staff in the room explained to the other one how to do it and what to consider. From that conversation, i have figured person who was doing piercings on me was in some sort of training. But I didnt mind it because she did such a good job and it didnt hurt at all. After the piercing, they kindly answered to all my questions and i have also received an email within an hour after the appointment that explains after care. I thought that was very thoughtful and considerate. Before paying my bills, i shopped for 2 other earrings that I could wear and girls at the shop were really kind to share their opinions on which design might be cute after I requested them to suggest me something nice. I appreciated it so much. Because i have never done it and because I didnt do much research on earring designs due to travel, I really needed second and third opinions. When i paid my bills, it was lower than I expected. So i asked are you sure, did you guys include the piercing work and they said they are sure and informed me that they also emailed me the receipt. Because my phone was dying, I didnt bother checking the receipt and thought if they forgot to charge something, they can always contact me by email and left the shop. When I came back to where i was staying, i had a chance to look at the receipt and realized they didnt charge me for piercings because it was an apprentice. They also gave me a discount on piercing earrings because it was an apprentice doing the job. I wish i knew it while in the shop, so I could have thanked them enough. All in all, great experience and definitely coming back. Thank you Studs.

I got my conch pierced here and it was a lovely experience! The staff were all very friendly and there was a wide variety of jewellery to choose from. The process itself was very quick and virtually painless. Only issue I had was that the jewellery I chose was mislabelled so it was actually $20 more than I thought it was, and I only noticed this after paying. I told the staff about this and they just apologised for the error.

I had a great experience at the UES Studs! I had been waffling on making an appointment to get my ears re-pierced after many years of not wearing earrings. I decided to stop by on a rainy Sunday afternoon and they were able to fit me in after a short wait. When I told my piercer, Liv, that it was a re-piercing she asked if she could take a look to see if the old piercings could be stretched (rather than going through a new piercing process). Turns out, they could! After a little finagling with a small tool, she was able to open up both sides and put in the new flat back earrings I had selected. Super quick & easy! Im very appreciative that she had the experience and took the time to do just what was needed.

Had the best experience at Studs in the Upper East Side! everyone who helped me was kind, knowledgeable and made me so comfortable. my piercer, Sam, was awesome! (got my tragus + flat helix pierced). will be going back soon for more! highly recommend Studs

My friend and I came in together to get piercings, and our piercer was wonderful! I was so quick and easy to make and do the appointment, and our piercer offered a lot of helpful feedback about what piercings would look/work best!

I scheduled an appointment for this past Saturday to get my daith and tragus done. The employees was really nice and friendly. Connie was so delightful and nice. She was so gentle and also just showed so much excitement. She made sure I was comfortable and okay. This place has such good vibes and good decor. I would absolutely recommend this place and I will be going back to see Connie for my next piercing.

LOVE this place! Super clean, affordable, and love the fact they use single use needles. I got a third hole in my lobe and my conch pierced. No pain for me with either! My piercer Payten was super knowledgeable and was able to offer her opinion on placement etc.My only wish is that they would open a location in or around Philadelphia!

We came all the way from Albany to have Rowan cancel on me. Luckily, I was able to get my tragus done here! It was quick and painless (ok it stung a little) and everyone was SO SWEET! Plus, any aftercare is included in the cost. I’ll be coming here from now on

Not including the holes pierced in my lobes at 8 months old, I’ve gotten 11 piercings In my life. This (counting for 2 of those piercings) is the best experience I’ve had. The place is spotless, staff super nice and professional. My piercer Corinne was awesome. She was really helpful and had the thought to (and was ultimately successful at) stretching my conch piercing that I thought had closed instead of just creating a new piercing. When I had a 3rd hole put in my lobe, she took out my other lobe piercings and measured to see where the 3rd hole should go. I’ve never had a bad piercing experience, but this was by far the best and I will definitely be going to this or other Studs locations for future piercings.

I had the best experience at their UES location. I had an appointment and they were ready for me right away. The people who helped me (the person who checked me in, Brooke who pierced my ears, and the person who checked me out) were all super nice and answered all of my questions. I had such a great experience with Brooke, who pierced my ears. I got a 2nd and 3rd lobe piercing but I told her that I wanted to get a 4th piercing once those 2 healed so she planned the piercings to include a 4th so we could have the spacing just right. I’m on Day 2 post-piercing and it’s been completely painless. I’m so pleased with the whole experience and can’t wait to go back to get more done. Highly recommend!!

I got my daith & my conch pierced by Connie, she is so knowledgeable, careful, and sweet! The recommendations and advice she gave for piercing care are thorough. To me those are kind of scary locations at first but I was so at ease the entire time! I would 100% come back for more piercings by her. I also came back for multiple jewelry changes and she was very thorough and patient. It makes me feel comforted to be able to adorn my ears and know the person really cares about safety, healing well, and just being understanding! Thank you Connie! 💕

It was awesome. My first cartilage piercing and dont regret it for a bit. It was very quick, the employees were all enthousiastic young women, the piercer was so sweet and she really knew what she was doing (I mean she does it all day). The pain (for me - its very personal) was a 3/10 and over within a second. If I couldve afforded it, I would have gotten another one pierced.10/10 would recommend.

Came in on a random Monday and was lucky enough to have Nolan help my indecisive self on picking out my jewelry. He was extremely attentive, patient and friendly throughout the whole process. I left with a total of 6 pieces that I’m obsessed with, he is literally an earring designer.

I had a great time working with the associates at Studs UES. Everyone was so comfortable with each other and professional. The technician, Payten, understood all my concerns and needs. This was the perfect place to update my jewelry and add more piercings to my collection. Im going to be back as soon as my current piercings heal!

I’m almost 80, had my ears pierced at 50, for lack of use they soon closed up. After deciding to have them pierced again, I did a lot of research and found Studs at 78 and Madison. Made a quick appt and loved the people and set up immediately. Olive was wonderful and found a way to get thru the original holes without a total repiercing. So grateful to all.

First time getting pierced and it was great. The prices seemed reasonable to me (I dont have a reference so take that as you will) and all the workers were very nice. Also the place and process were both very clean and sanitary. Cant speak for the other piercers but Liv was great, she was very patient in guiding me through the process and with any questions I had. I assume the other piercers are just as good. Will come again

Wonderful experience! Everyone working there was extremely helpful and friendly. Everyone was extremely professional despite this young girl insisting that people working there guess her age.The piercer was super helpful and informative about the cleaning and made sure I was happy with the placement before going ahead.

I’ve gotten 2 piercings done at this location now, but have been back many times for post downsizing and general questions. Every person I have interacted with here has been amazing! Super clean location, very sweet employees and Brooke is wonderful and makes you feel so comfortable getting your piercing!

Generally it was good. But we had a few issues…. (1) everything is priced per hole; that’s not obvious if you’re looking for just a basic double lobe piercing. They should explain it better. My friend’s daughter picked out a stud in the $100 category and she was shocked when she paid to find it was $100 per stud, not for the pair. They didn’t tell her this. Yikes. (2) my child had some issues when we left - the stud appeared to embed in her ear - but you can’t call and reach anyone in the studio. We’re dealing with it without guidance because we couldn’t talk to them, but for what we paid I wish we could have called to ask a simple question. Fingers crossed it doesn’t get infected!

Got my second lobes done by Brooke and it was a great experience! She was so kind, positive, and efficient - the entire appointment took no more than 20 min including a thorough walk-through of piercing procedure and aftercare. Will definitely come back in the future for jewelry or more piercings!

I absolutely adore studs, been pierced at two locations and have had an amazing experience both times, clean, friends and fun atmosphere. I’ll see you guys again in may!

I hadn’t got a piercing done in 15 years and felt unsure of where to go and found studs. They are amazing. I felt comfortable and everything was so clean and they were prepared with a stress ball and things to busy yourself with. Overall great experience and Liv was awesome

I was super nervous to get my ears pierced so I kept putting it off until I finally got up the courage. I decided on Studs after seeing all their posts on Instagram and was super happy with my experience. Any nerves I had were eased by the lovely staff who made the experience as anxiety-free as possible. The piercer took their time and did a wonderful job. This experience was so great that I got over my fear and decided to get a second piercing later in the year from this same location. Same great experience the second time! They are fantastic, highly recommend for first time piercings.

I’ve been to this location twice now, and I cannot recommend it enough.I went to a different STUDS location yesterday and my piercings were awful — off centered, too low, and with spacing that was different on each ear. I came to the upper east side location for help removing the piercings and figuring out next steps, and Brooke spent at least triple the time just talking with me as the other piercer did actually piercing my ears. She was so thorough, answered all my questions, and so so kind. When I’ve been here before to purchase earrings, everyone has been super helpful too.It’s safe to say I won’t be straying from the upper east side location again if I return to STUDS. The professionalism and knowledge here was on a whole other level from my experience elsewhere.

It’s super easy and simple to get pierced at STUDS! I walked in without an appointment and was able to get pierced right away. They give you a selection of piercings (which were cute) and after you show your ID and waiver, you’re ready to get pierced! Everyone was super friendly, and my piercer was super helpful with after-care tips. They have everything you need and I was done in like 15 min. Would definitely come here any time I want more piercings.

I was a walk in for my appointment for the E78th street location. The staff was wonderful. My piercer : LIV was incredible. I was extremely nervous about getting my ears pierced but she was so gentle and really supportive. Ill definitely be back for more piercings at this location.

Studs was an eye opener for me on Friday, 10/13. Liv Williams was wonderful as was everyone else in the estabishment. I didnt know what to expect but each individual was professional, considerate and walked me through all the details. I was pierced before I knew it. Never felt anything except for gratitude. I am 73 years old. What an amazing adventure!

Awesome experience- quick, clean, and professional. I initially went to another competitor and felt like I was at a daycare with all the screaming children. Studs had a more adult clientele, and more experienced piercers on staff daily. Prices were also reasonable. Would definitely recommend for a worry free, exciting experience!

This was such a seamless and fun experience! I booked an appointment to get my helix pierced. When I arrived, the staff was so attentive and fun to chat with. They all clearly enjoy working there and have great knowledge about their products and services. My piercer Kelsea was so great. She was so calm and gentle that I barely even felt the needle. Overall, a really wonderful experience and will definitely be going back for other piercings in the future. Thanks!

My advice: skip it, go to your local piercer and buy cool jewelry from a small business! I was really looking forward to getting a cool new piercing and jewelry at this place. I traveled from out of state to go! When I got there and throughout the whole process, everyone was very friendly. However, for my exchange jewelry they presented me with just a tray of options so, I made my choice. When the jewelry was in, I didn’t like it. At the counter the gentleman told me I wasn’t eligible for return or exchange. I expressed my disappointment but was met with no response. There was a whole counter of options I could have chose from, unbeknownst to me! It just put me in a blah mood the rest of the day. Also, they were running a promotion for a free chain which wasn’t offered to me until we already paid and I then saw and pointed to the sign on our way out. I paid close to $300 to leave in less than happy fashion. Employees were super friendly but I could have done without.

The vibes were immaculate. My friend and I went together to get piercings and brought along two others. We were laughing and having a great time from the second we walked in the door. Everyone at Studs was super accommodating of our group and I cannot recommend out piercer, Peyten, enough! They talked through the things we were nervous about and put me and my friend at ease. It was a better experience than I could have hoped for and I keep getting compliments on the new look!

What a great experience! The staff was knowledgeable, kind, patient and technically skilled. The piercing was virtually painless! We had some issues with previous piercings done elsewhere with a piercing gun so we wanted to find a place that uses a needle. We are so happy to have found Studs!

I’ve gotten 3 piercings from their Upper East Side location in the last few months and every time has been a great experience! The piercers I’ve had are always so professional and nice. My piercings have also healed better than any others one I’ve ever gotten. 10/10 experience every time.

I visited STUDS Upper East Side on a Sunday hoping to get a walk-in appointment, and they were able to accommodate me. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the piercer was very professional, caring and well informed about piercings. She helped me pick the precise location for my new piercings and spoke with me about my other piercings and style. If I am back in NYC when Im ready for my next piercing, I would absolutely go back to STUDS!

As a first timer in terms of ear piercings, I was super happy with the service Ive got at STUDS. Brooke did a great job explaining to me how things would go, and quadruple checked if the position of both piercings would be to my liking. I was also glad to know that, after an unfortunate initial cancellation, STUDS offered me a discount for rebooking. Would def come back!

They made a happy customer out of my 13 year old. She wanted 2 piercings for her birthday and the licensed expert on hand helped guide her decision, letting her know what will take longer to heal and the care process. She was so patient with my daughter and gave her the space to figure it out.

Everyone at this location is so nice, I always leave with the biggest smile on my face! I’ve been pierced by Peyton twice and she’s seriously such an angel and makes you feel so comfortable during the process. I was there last week and already have plans for my next piercing. Studs is the best!

I had a great experience here! Connie changed the jewelry on my rook piercing, which is not the easiest to change given the shape of my ear and angle of the original piercing. She also pierced my upper lobe. The consultation was personalized and efficient, without feeling rushed. Great selection of high quality jewelry. Everything was very clean and COVID safe.

Great staff, cute jewelry; a little on the expensive side but definitely fair. Going for this “brand” experience means quality assurance! I got snakebite cartilage; I imagine this place would be great for first time lobes of all ages/genders.

My piercing experience was so good. The staff were super sweet and gave me their opinions as I was trying to decide and I was alone so that was helpful! The process was super fast and pretty painless (and gentle!). They even helped me change an old old piecing (for $15). Overall super neat experience. I got there super early and was a little berated lol but I just wanted to check if anyone canceled by some chance but nonetheless I just grabbed food and came back, they were awesome.

I had a great experience here, staff was super welcoming and friendly! I came in to have my upper earlobe pierced, by appointment. It was my first piercing since I was around 6 yo, and of course I was a little nervous, but when I walked in, they answered all my questions and I picked my cute stud. The actual procedure took about 2 minutes! Im loving my piercing and thinking of next one now))! Highly recommend this place!

I got my helix pierced here two months ago and it has healed perfectly. There was a large variety of earrings to choose from and reasonable prices. My piercer made me feel comfortable even though I was scared, and I’m in love with my piercings!

I am really happy with my experience here. Needles make me nervous and my pain threshold is low. But Liv was so nice, her instructions were clear, and she efficiently pierced my earlobes - it felt like barely a pinch for me so I was very happy! My ear lobes are naturally very asymmetrical (thats just how I was born) so I informed Liv about it and she did a nice job in placing the piercings in a way that came out pretty close to even on me. I was pleased! I appreciate Liv taking her time, being kind, professional, patient, and just wonderful. I will definitely come back here when I feel ready for more ear piercings. Its clean and professional here. And they open the new sterile needles and everything in front of you. I highly recommend!

I made an appointment on a whim at Studs UES and I am so happy I did. My friend and I got piercings on a whim like this last summer at Studs Williamsburg and we were in and out in no time. We got our piercings with Brooke and I am obsessed. I got a new piece for my middie becuase I never got my post changed out and one day I noticed it was gone. I also got an upper helix piercing done with a stunning twinkle star. Everyone is so nice and always smooth experience. Brooke took time to help my friend and I understand the importance of changing out our posts after 3/4 months after healing so we don’t run the risk of losing jewlry in the future. We will be returning to this shop once this ear heals and recommending people to go here.

I was in the UES area today and stopped into this location just to see if they had the piercing jewelry I knew I wanted. They were booked up, but while I was looking, one of the staff members told me that the next appointment had just canceled. I immediately asked if I could be seen for a piercing, and they fit me right in! Peyton, my piercer was awesome, informative, and quick. I highly recommend this location.

The only times I got my ears pierced was when I was maybe 3 or 4 years old and that was on my lobes. So believe me when I say I was really nervous going into studs at 22 years old to get my Helix done, but… also believe me when I say getting my Helix done here by Casey was so amazing and fast I can’t wait to get my ears pierced again once this one heals. The staff were friendly and professional, the area and store was very good. I would give them more stars especially this being my very first time getting a piercing I am fully aware of.

Friendly staff. This is my second time at Studs, first time was last year at Soho. I’m so glad this location opened up since it’s closer to home. I had a apprentice appointment so both of my piercings were free and the titanium jewelry was 20% off. Camile, my piercer was great and very professional. Definitely coming back again once my lobe is healed ❤️

Don’t believe the hype!My niece, her friend and I all had terrible experiences with Studs uptown. I selected 2 different earrings and after they were in it was obvious they were uneven. We couldn’t re-pierce to fix, so we selected new earrings to hide the botch job. Requiring a swap on newly pierced and sore ears. It is a year later and my ears have not fully healed and I have lopsided lobes. My niece and her friend received a 3rd piercing and their placements were not balanced against their existing. Limiting the options they can wear. Plus the haven’t healed either. My niece grew a blood clot on the back of her ear as well. I hope my review might help others avoid the pain and discomfort we have.

I am a Studs STAN. Making an appointment is so easy, when you get the the staff is friendly and kind. The piercers are always so knowledgeable and calming. The only place I will trust with my ears. Aftercare is also clearly explained. love love love.

Overall, super positive experience! My appointment had to get rescheduled but they discounted my piercing appointment which was so kind! My piercer was so kind, super sweet, and super knowledgable. I came early to my appointment and was able to been seen earlier than expected. Highly recommend Studs!

I had the best piercing experience at Studs Upper East Side. I was a bit nervous going in as my last piercing was when I was 8, but my piercer Payten was amazing! She was patient, talked me through all my questions before hand, and verbally walked me through the piercing process as she was doing it. Knowing exactly what to expect really helped and it was done before I knew it (and with no pain). My nerves were unnecessary. Payten was excellent and I couldn’t recommend her enough if you want a new ear piercing!

I had the most amazing experience at the Studs on 78th street. I was pierced by Chris. Which by far had the gentlest touch. No pain and super fast. The ladies in the front were just as amazing and cheerful. Will be going back for a couple more piercings.

I got my helix pierced at the UES location two days ago and had an incredible experience! The staff was so nice, helped calm my nerves, and made sure I felt extremely comfortable. They even took care of me and gave me snacks after the piercing when I was feeling lightheaded. Excellent experience!

I’ve always had a good experience at STUDS. The people working there are chill and helpful, and I find the piercers are especially nice.The only thing to note is that their selection of flatbacks (the studs you wear for new piercings and can’t change out for months) only includes silver titanium OR real gold. They apparently never keep their gold plated titanium flatbacks in store. So if you want the gold aesthetic you have to shell out for a $100+ real gold stud. (The part that actually comes in contact with your ear is always titanium so this doesn’t even affect healing/allergies.) I’ve noticed this at multiple STUDS locations so I think it is an intentional ploy by management to push the expensive stuff.

The workers are very nice and helpful. i got my seconds pierced here back in september and they’ve healed perfectly. everything is sanitary and they know what they’re doing. plus the jewelry selection is too cute!

Had a double helix piercing done by Cherisse and I cannot say enough about her professionalism and skill. She made me feel so at peace and informed during my piercing- which was done beautifully and exactly how I wanted it. My healing has gone really well with very little discomfort and I will absolutely be getting pierced by her at this location again. As in next month. 10/10 for this trendy Instagram piercing studio. Very worth the hype.

Edit: I am changing my rating from one star to 4 stars because of their outstanding customer service in helping me with this situation. I believe it came down to my piercer.Everyone was nice but I am really unhappy with my piercing. I got two piercings on my lobes. They are very uneven and one of the earrings crosses the back of the other which is painful. I also paid $230, and although I did get a nicer pair of earrings- it is too much for how poor my experience was. Also my piercer was nice but she kept poking the hole slowly rather than pushing it through all at once which made for a painful process and I imagine the hole probably isnt as even if she made multiple impacts not in a straight line. I regret going.

Studs was very accommodating for our group of 5. They spent time with each of us individually making sure we knew the process and were happy with our decisions. Everything was clean and organized. I had a good experience even though I was very nervous and I would definitely go back

I went in knowing that I wanted to create an earscape but not sure where to start. Liv was So helpful and chatted with me to figure out which piercings to get now and helped me think of a plan for the future. She even gave me a stress ball to hold during the piercing. I was visiting new york from the UK and realised i was trans. i decided to get my ears pierced here. the experience was great! the person at the register was very helpful and friendly and made light talk.my ears were pierced by Peytan who did a superb job. highly recommend, Peytan did everything to calm me down and more!i especially loved the pixie sticks and our light chitter chatter. also they used some kind of gel to make it hurt slightly less? highly impressed with how much Peytan knew. also they avoided my freckles which are my pride and joy!!the staff used my correct preferred name and pronouns too.it’s places like this that make me feel more welcomed as a queer person in nyc than my own home, i only wish i could have tipped (i didn’t have cash nor the apps americans use)i’ll make sure to tip next time i return, which i am sure i will. people like Peytan make me want to live here.

This company deserves no stars! Stay away from all their locations nationwide. They will tell you that you have the anatomy, when you dont have it. Botched piercings can lead to many health risks, and you do not want to be that person who suffers. Staff is not properly trained, nor licensed to preform most piercings.
