Been to Uplift twice so far, both with Noah! Absolutely amazing time, each go! He was able to take the idea in my head, design it up, and go above and beyond my expectations! Noah made it a super comfortable experience from setting up the consultation, all the way to the tattoo itself! I’ve been bouncing around artists my whole life, but I think I finally found the one I’m going to always return to! 5/5, can’t recommend him and the studio enough!

Yes, you want to get a tattoo here!They truly specialize in what they do. In our 30’s and with some tattoos, we didn’t know anything about this place other than their instagram content and I can truly say they are great and I would recommend to anyone. Some of the fine-line work they did is just amazing.The artists who worked on our project were really nice, Winnie even showed us a preview of what it might look like to get an idea of the right size, she took notes, made suggestions and was incredibly nice. I’m really grateful for the fantastic job she did for my wife’s idea. For me I had the pleasure to have the great Fausto working on my tat and he was amazing, as well. He heard what I wanted and made some suggestions (which really enhanced the final result).Overall, I’m really happy with the result and will definitely be coming back.

I got my first tattoo ever with Eva! I couldn’t have chosen a better artist for a first experience, she immediately made me feel at ease by taking her time to understand my custom design, and it was amazing seeing her creativity in action. I had a great experience at UPLIFT. I was working by Insta messaging with @winnietattoo on a design I wanted for a couple of months ahead of time. I live 2000 miles from New York so we had to do online consulting. Win always was very punctual with messaging, courteous and polite. No pressure or pushing.The space at uplift is very clean, organized and neat. Located in SOHO, I would expect nothing less.This was my first tattoo and it was very deep in meaning for me. Win was very patient in person as well and I would highly recommend her artistry.Uplift also has sent several emails to me regarding post tattoo care and to see how I liked the tattoo. Very professional.

I recently had a tattoo done here by Isa and it was a wonderful experience! Isa was so friendly and made me feel so comfortable, and she was so patient as I had changed my placement quite a few times before we got started. I really enjoyed chatting with her, and she did a lovely job on the tattoo. It has healed perfectly. I also picked this one from one of her flash sheets, so she has amazing designs!The studio itself felt very accommodating as well and everyone seemed so friendly! It was also incredibly clean and honestly smelled so good when I walked in, almost like a spa. I had a very pleasant experience at Uplift, and especially with Isa!

Ayala did such a beautiful job on my two fine line tattoos. She made the process so enjoyable as well and I get so many compliments on the tattoos. This was my first ever tattoo, and the experience was amazing. Ayala was so patient the whole time and when I didn’t know what size I wanted she printed a couple to let me see which one I would like. When doing placement I was able to see it and if I didn’t like where it was at we could always make changes to it. The tattoo has healed and it looks amazing. It’s been four weeks and honestly I couldn’t be happier with it. Every time I see it or look at it I get so happy. I also get so many compliments from my friends and family who have seen it. If you are on the fence on what tattoo artist and where to get it this is the place. I would also recommend Ayala to anyone and everyone.

Got my second-ever tattoo done with Isa about a month ago and it was such a clean, quiet, and easy environment/experience!! Especially for a relative tattoo noob like me. She did an amazing job— tat healed up great and I’m in love with my new ink. :)

Winnie is amazing! She helped me decide placement and also retouched an old tattoo. She is so sweet and super smart, I was in great hands. I felt so comfortable and safe I almost feel asleep while she was tattooing my arm. I could have stayed longer! Place is impeccable and so beautiful. I knew I came into a place that knows what they are doing! Highly recommend!

If youre looking to get your first tattoo or add to your collection while in New York, look no further. My mother (66) and I (41) decided to get matching tattoos to highlight our mother daughter trip to NY. After some research (ie. Visiting their instagram, website) and reading some positive reviews on this studio, I took the plunge by making our appointments, site unseen. We couldnt have asked for a better tattoo artist than Ezze. The moment we entered the studio, she made us feel at ease, showing incredible patience towards us and our many questions. She offered options and we worked together to get the best placement/size for our tattoos. She was gentle and an absolute gem of a person, making our hours together an enjoyable experience all around. I asked for two more tattoos representing my daughters and I was in awe of her attention to detail. Her portfolio was black/grey focused with fine line tattoos and she delivered on all fronts. The studio itself is also incredibly clean and offers a spa like experience. It smells so nice and the chill music fits the overall vibe. I am so pleased with my experience and the results. With her talent, attention and care, Ezze is the Ezze choice at Uplift Tattoo and Piercing hands down. She definitely lives up to her name.

Yulia did an incredible job doing two fine line tattoos on my wrists with shading. She made me feel very comfortable, was clear about the price and reasonable ($450 ea), and did the designs even better than I could’ve hoped. Will be going back. I’ll update this with healed photos later.

Last July I got my first tattoo at Uplift with Ayala. I showed her a photo of the bear I wanted and she drew a sketch for me right away. I was really nervous going in and I don’t know if it was the area of the tattoo, the fineness of the needle or Ayala’s magic but there was zero pain (I almost napped during)! I couldnt be happier with my experience and the result. I love my bear! It was pricey but completely worth it and Id go back for my next tattoo. They even do free touchups. I had a tattoo done with Val and I can say my experience was fantastic! I give a 10/10 to his work, professionalism, and how clean the studio was! It will almost be a year from getting tattooed, and both tattoos are looking amazing! People often compliment on how good they are! I recently got a daith piercing with Sophie, and she was absolutely amazing! From the moment I walked in, her professionalism and patience were evident. She explained the entire process clearly and made sure I felt comfortable throughout. Surprisingly, the piercing wasn’t painful at all, thanks to her expert technique. The healing process has been going smoothly, and just three days later, I’m already seeing great progress. I will definitely be going to her again for any future piercings! Highly recommend Sophie for anyone looking for a skilled and caring piercer.

Had the most incredible appointment with Isa yesterday. She’s creative, kind, patient, and unbelievably talented. Can’t recommend her enough. William shin hands down amazing tattoo artist! His service was great he was friendly and most of all his work is amazing. He was extremely professional and patient with me even when I tapped out a few times due to pain, overall great place to get your tattoos!

At age 58, after coming through a long year of grief and inner turmoil, I felt a desire to recognize my internal transformation with an external transformation-body art, my first tattoo. I did a bunch of research and thought I generally knew what I wanted. Noah was very encouraging and confident in our communications about the process which was new to me. His confidence helped ease any doubt that crept up. Once in the shop we eased into the work of designing something that represented my concept and he helped me consider a few subtle changes with his keen eye for space and continuity. The end result is magnificent-I get nothing but admiring feedback. The actual tattooing was clean, professional, relaxing and actually felt great. I get to admire Noah’s art every day and consider myself very lucky to have worked with someone so patient, skilled and tuned-in to my vision and desire for personal expression with ink!

I had the pleasure to get mine from Vlad, the mastermind behind uplift tattoos. Cool dude, friendly but most of all an Artist. He knows his sh*t. Got butterfly 3D shaded tattoos by Noah today and I’m obsessed! He did such an amazing job, really paid attention to detail and adjusted to make it heal as best and nice as possible. So excited and happy with it, I’m going back to get another. And another. And most likely another 😂. Thanks Noah!

Truly couldnt have asked for a better experience. I have many tattoos and this is by far one of the best experiences I have had at a shop. While they are pricey it is well worth it for the quality of something you will have on you forever. My artist, Ayala, was incredible and took the time to design some drafts for me and then take her time tattooing which I appreciated. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Just stopped by and were able to get an appointment. Winnie was really cool and did an amazing job. Studio is very clean and the people were friendly. My friend and I both got a bottle of water. They used second skin to cover my tattoo, which I really liked!Great work! Thanks to the whole team

Went into this a little nervous but had a great experience from start to finish. Ayala did such an amazing job recreating my fur baby! It was my first tattoo and definitely an experience that left me wanting more!! Can’t wait to get more tattoos in the future!

I was very excited to get a new tattoo at Uplift. I follow (now followed) their instagram and seen the nice work their artist do. I have nothing negative to say about my artist quality of work but I do have my opinion about the negative experience and bad customer service.Booked the appointment. I explained I was coming out of town. The day of the appointment I received a message from the artist to request to reschedule our appointment. Please see the attachment text conversation. I understand that situations happen but the lack of an apology from management was a deal breaker. When I went to the shop, no one approached me to talk about what happened or offer an apology. I was shown some tattoo photos of instagram and was told “he” will be your artist today. At the time I paid, the pricing was higher than when originally quoted for the same tattoo. At that point I didn’t feel the argument was worth the time and left.I would have like to keep going to Uplift and keep getting tattoos there, but the lack of customer service, increase of price, and no appreciation or apology, really was a turn off.

Amazing experience, great atmosphere, experienced artists. Highly recommend making an appointment with Val - he knows his stuff. My tattoo came out great - it’s been a couple of years since it was done and it looks just like day one.

Uplift had excellent skills and great customer service, they were understanding and accommodating! I really appreciate that they worked WITH us, not a lot of places are like this. I had my first tattoo done by Rui, she was professional and well understood my tattoo ideas. I was a walk-in appointment and there was no disappointment. Everything flowed very nicely and in the end, I was 100% satisfied. As a good tattoo artist, it was nice that she answered lots of first-timer questions.

This was my first tattoo ever. Erika was the most accommodating, talented and caring artist. She made sure I was happy with the outcome and I could tell she genuinely cares about the work she produces. It was a really nice experience with minimal pain and will definitely come back for more. I had a consultation with Ayala prior to confirm the design and she gave me time the day of my appointment to make sure the size and placement were perfect. Honestly, I’m only giving three stars because the tattoos she did on me were really nice and because my brother had a great experience for his first tattoo, so shout out to Santiago but my tattoo was so overpriced. I basically paid $500 for both. I have a tattoo on the back of my thigh that covers the back of my thigh completely and is in color and shaded and I paid just about 500 for that piece. So pricing is ridiculous here. Also, the vibes weren’t there. On their Instagram they present/promote such good vibes, but the host was not welcoming, and the artist wasn’t very communicative. She didn’t even bother explaining or providing a quote or anything. I had to remind her on what I wanted even though I already sent her what I wanted. Overall, still shocked on the price of these tattoos. If you want a tattoo in New York and you’re on a budget, don’t go here.

Gus is an incredible tattoo artist with a soft hand that helped express creativity on my skin. I’m honored to have a couple pieces by him including this beautiful piece that honestly has been a conversation starter for many, and many can’t believe that this tattoo was created here in Miami because of how expensive it looks. My tattoo artist was Jianna. She was amazing and very thorough with the process of telling me what to do before and after my session with her. I really liked her flash designs that she had on her Instagram account. A friend of mine introduced me to her, and he reposted a post from her so I was intrigued and reached out to her.So after her tattoo session, she wanted to make sure everything was perfect and good for me before there were any final touches she wanted to make. I really liked how clean the environment was and has good music. Even though it was a friends of friend, I still treated her like a tattoo artist because she has to do her thing and her best as an aspiring tattoo artist. I hope she has good success in her career and life. I really loved the chick she tattooed on me. (Hopefully will get pictures for it!!) 🩵🩵🩵

I was very fortunate to have Noah Offitzer perform my tattoo. I Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It was my first tattoo , but the process was so collaborative that it became really fun. He was enthusiastic about my idea but provided really great incite that made it even better! He has an artistic touch that comes with experience and a true love of his craft. From a technical standpoint he was swift and deliberate using precision and attention to detail to get the job done right while minimizing discomfort. Amazing experience! I got my first tattoo here, I was kinda nervous because everyone said tattoos hurt, but Erzhena (my artist) was really friendly, informative, and did an amazing job. I know pain varies depending on the tattoo placement, and personal tolerance but I believe Erzhena skills were the reason the pain was very very minimal. I didn’t feel any pain. Not to mention, the tattoo looked incredible by the end of the session.

My experience....after spending nearly two decades away from a tattoo parlor, I was pretty hesitant in getting a new tattoo. However, I was pleasantly surprised, happy, and satisfied with my visit to Uplift Tattoo & Piercing NYC. My tattoo artist, RUI, assisted me in making a choice that was aligned to my vision. She was very knowledgeable in her craft, and she was very professional. I will most definitely return in a few weeks to get a few more tats. I was visiting NYC for a couple days and had been thinking about getting a tattoo and a friend in the city mentioned they had gotten their tattoo at Uplift and had an amazing experience so recommended that I check them out for fine line tattoos. I was paired with Santiago and had an incredible experience. Santiago was so welcoming and so patient with me. He’s a true professional, but brings so much warmth to his work and his artistry. It was really fun designing my tattoo together. I really appreciated his creative input on design and placement and size. I’m so happy with how my tattoo turned out, and I’m definitely going to be visiting Santiago sometime soon for the next one!

Beautiful shop in a great location. I loved that it wasn’t chaotic with loud music playing and lots of shouting. The studio is really tranquil and you have privacy while you’re getting your work done.Jakki is incredible and so talented. She helped me with the design and took the care to make sure everything was perfect, and she was so relatable and easy to talk to during the process. Winnie did an absolutely gorgeous job with my tattoo. This is a piece I’ve been planning for years and she made all my dreams come true and more!! She does exquisite line work and calligraphy and was super great to work with. My experience was excellent from start to finish.The shop is very clean with lots of space. The front desk is helpful and accommodating, even to last minute requests.The artist that worked on me (Anastasia Summer) was incredible. Ive gotten 2 pieces from Uplift NYC and have been very happy with both. The first was a black-line flash piece done by Kat. The second, is a still life that took multiple sessions with Val. It turned out beautifully and Val was very patient working with me regarding what I wanted, what was feasible, and how much pain I could handle at a time. Beautiful work. Very straight forward pricing. Zero complaints.

As far as tattoo studios go, Uplift is super clean, sleek, and welcoming. I’ve had two tattoos done here: one by River, who tended to precise detail and took her time with my Pisces fish fine line design; one was done by Turko as a walk-in for a giveaway of one of their flash promo designs, and he did an amazing job with my butterfly. I can’t recommend Uplift more! Looking forward to my next visit.

Turko is a super talented and personable artist! I’m in love with how clean and detailed his work is and I’d recommend him a thousand times over to anyone! The place is very nice, modernly decorated, very clean and well lit. I got tattooed by Winnie, who was very professional, I was really happy with the design she had come up with, we just worked on size and placement of each element and were good to go. I know perceived pain is very relative, but her hands felt very light and delicate and it didnt hurt at all. The inspiration was one of the limited edition posters for de Death Cab for Cutie/The Postal Service tour and Im just super excited about my new tattoo.

The staff is terrible. I wanted to make an appointment with them for a tattoo, but their dissatisfied, boorish faces put clients off. The mood is ruined. I got the tattoo done in another salon, and it was for the better. Then I found out that UPLIFT TATTO caused a lot of problems to people. I had to remove the tattoo laser. I absolutely do not recommend it. My brother now wants to go to court. Such people should be punished, unprofessionalism!

I did a walk-in appointment during a weekday afternoon and was immediately accommodated. Fausto talked me through a bunch of different fonts and sizes for the lettering tattoo I wanted on my bicep (a short poem) and was very patient and precise to make sure I’d be happy with placement and design. It all took less than an hour and was relatively painless! Very pleased with my spontaneous decision.

I STRONGLY recommend Uplift! Walked in yesterday and had Fausto do a long quote on my quad--omg it was incredible. I have 14 tattoos now and this one was probably one of the most well-done ones. Fausto was super kind and sweet and took his time to talk about the font, structure, position of the quote. Went back again today to get a touch-up by him on one of my other tattoos. Had a superb experience here!!!

My experience was amazing at Uplift Tattoo. I chose ezzeink aka Erika to do this beautiful flash tattoo rose i saw on her instagram page. From Check-In to the actual appointment, it was absolutely seamless. Very methodically set up and organized parlour. I really loved my design and ezze defintely communicates well on instagram about updates and concerns if you have any.

Clean and professional place. Sabina was nice and welcoming. Her calm demeanor kept me calm, although I have many tattoos it’s been a while, so I appreciated that. Overall a good experience, love my tattoo. I give 3 stars only because I believe it was bit overpriced, I got quoted around $300 but because I wanted it on my shoulder I got charged an extra $150. It’s a relatively small tattoo and I should have asked all the information before hand. Again she did a good job. I would go back again but I would just make sure I ask all questions and that I’m okay with the price.

I found uplift on Google while searching for a place to get a tattoo that was very special to me done. I went on there website which was really efficient, and looked through the profiles and decided on Winnie. I booked a consultation and then a booked an appointment. She did my tattoo swiftly and precisely. The whole place was very neat and sanitary. She was very nice, so was everyone in there. They even have lollipops at the front. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

I have been waiting a while to get this tattoo because I wanted to find someone with proven skill at fine lines. I followed Zay on insta for a while because a friend recommended Uplift. She did an incredible job and I would go back to her any day for an tattoo. She was meticulous in getting all the lettering to look perfect. The only small downside is that youre going to pay a premium for Zays talent. 11/10 worth it.

Val is a fantastic tattoo artist! He did my Arrival tattoo two years ago and its still crisp and looks exactly like I want it to. The session was quick after we placed the tattoo (circle on round shape is difficult) and Val was very accommodating for my first tattoo.

I got my first tattoo done here by Rui. I have to say it’s worth every penny since my tattoo is customized, and Rui is really patient and professional. She revised the design based on my thoughts again and again, then the end result is a GREAT tattoo!

At first I showed him a reference photo but he wasnt satisfied with just slapping it on top because he said it wont cover it perfectly, so he asked me for time to re-create and come back. They sent plenty of appointment reminders/confirmations, their website is easy for scheduling and submitting design ideas, and the space in Soho is bright, clean, and sleek. Mae was my artist and she was very timely, prepared with the exact design I wanted with various options for sizes and shading, and very patient as I decided on exact placement. The tattoo process was super comfortable and Mae took great photos of the tattoo for me after. Will be returning to Uplift and Mae for future tattoos.

(I am also writing this because the shop / site keeps prompting / hounding me to write a review if I had a good experience, which I did not, but feel obliged to do this...)-Here is the truth: this studio is filled with tattooers who can execute fine line designs elegantly for a very high price. Fine line tattooes are trendy and also not as easy to execute as traditional. This shop specializes in aggrandizing fine line and hiking the price because of its trend and novelty. The shop is run by men and the majority of tattooers are women.My tattoo was beautifully executed by Yulia. She is a skilled tradesperson. However, Ive worked with many tattooers in the past who are actual artist - what this means is when you bring them a vision and direction, they create something for you. CREATE ! My experience with Yulia was somewhat limited by her unwillingness to design or tattoo my actual request. She came back with a somewhat unrelated design that was cool, but not at all what I asked for. And when I wanted adjustments or live drawing changes, she was unwilling to budge. True artists can draw directly on the body and modify or adapt to make the tattoo work on the actual person. Yulia cannot do this, which means you are stuck with the pencil design stenciled onto you. For all of you who want custom tattoos, this is not the process for you!Now, dont get me wrong, many of my tattooes are literally just expressions of a tattooer whom I told, do whatever you want... so Im not mad at someone just tattooing their own thing on me...Yulia, however, resisting my request and I felt somehow obligated to do her design.Im cool with it now, but in retrospect, I should have stood up to her to do what I asked, or found an artist who would want to execute my design.All in all, the tattoo is mot my favorite, and please be aware that if you hire Yulia, please dont expect adaptability - she can beautifully execute anything from the internet... but if youre a concpeptual or idea person, or anyone who wants to push boundaries, she is not the right fit for you, and frankly, UPLIFT studio is not either.IN SUMMARY - find a good Brooklyn tattoo shop ... this overpriced soho spa will not leave you pleased....

I came here last week to get my tattoo and I had a wonderful experience and absolutely LOVE my tattoo. The shading came out wonderfully and Val, the artist, took his time to work with me to come up with the design I wanted and the placement. SOHO Tattoo & Piercing is such a clean and welcoming environment to be in and I felt very welcomed there. The staff is very friendly and will go out of their way to help you with any questions you may have. My experience was so great that I am currently booking my next appointment!

The artist Lucci will do an amazing job on your tattoo! I recommend you get any tattoo done by her even specifically small fine-lined tattoos. I recently got a fine-lined tattoo of just one word and it looks incredible and healed great! She is also very respectful and kind towards your wants and needs and wouldn’t mind changing the font, size, etc.

I literally cannot recommend this studio enough. I got a fine line flash tattoo done by Jakki (@jakkichantattoos) and it was the best experience for my first tattoo! My experience with Uplift Tattoo studio was exceptional throughout the entire custom tattoo process. For context, prior to this experience, I had about four other tattoos done at four other studios over the years. From the moment I reached out to the studio and artist (Temir), they were incredibly responsive. Temir not only is incredibly talented technically as an artist, he is the first artist Ive ever worked with who took in very conceptual thoughts and imagery from my end, and turned it in to an incredible customized design for my lower arm sleeve. Truly dedicated to their craft. The studio was also clean, modern and welcoming.

I went there for my birthday last year to get get some ink. Jakki was my tattoo artist and was incredibly easy to work with and comforting! They did an amazing job on my tattoo! The store is very relaxing, clean and offers options for privacy. Would definitely recommend if you were looking to get some ink done and meet some cool people!

The tattoo is really pretty, but ended up healing really really faint. The shop was clear with us when we were there that they would offer free touch up’s, but I went elsewhere since I’m not from New York City. Overall we were happy!

Anastasia is a true pro! I approached her about a cover up job that I knew would be tricky and she really did extra work to help make it happen. The tattoo she gave me is of a cherub and my fiancé said it’s “my best tattoo” and “looks like a piece of renaissance art.” I also love that it really is a complex piece but is still so elegant and delicate looking. It’s an expensive studio but you definitely get what you pay for. Couldn’t recommend more!

I’ve had Val from Uplift do multiple tattoos of mine. Extremely detailed and flawlessly executed, they’re absolutely beautiful. The studio is gorgeous and everyone who works there is great. Can’t recommend Uplift enough.

I had my tattoo done with Rui. She was very kind and very patient. The staff over all was very cool and encouraging. Rui is very knowledgable in her work. I got a complex flash done. She told me the rate based on size. The tattoo went an hour above and she still respected the rate. Awesome place!

Uplift tattoo is great! Easy communication, great artists great location . I chose Anastasia for her delicate & clean trace and I didn’t regret my choice. She was completely immersed in creating the best design to fit my personality and she did an amazing job!

Cute tattoo but didn’t like the experience overall. Here’s whyMy artist Val seemed like he had an attitude as if he was annoyed the whole time. I wouldn’t say he’s pleasant at all.Some random woman WHO WAS NOT WELCOME AT ALL walked in on my session and started staring and sat behind me half the time. She was watching me after when I got ready to leave. AWKWARD AND ANNOYING UNPROFESSIONAL. They tell you not to bring someone and then some random worker or spouse walks in as if she belongs there SHE DOES NOT. She was laughing too just oblivious.The prices aren’t clear and it was very expensive $400 for 2 micro finger tats.His post tattoo bandage was UGLY AND HORRIBLE LOOKING ON PURPOSE. Val was not nice at all. Except for apologizing for the pain. He could have put a little clear bandage on top but he put 2 huge black gauze covered with hard yellow tape. People asked what was wrong.Then he waits upstairs afterward and corners and stands over you with the price. I also heard him chatting with the receptionist. Sounds like they gossip about the clients too. For the price and SNOOTY ATTITUDES the experience was 2 1/2 stars. I didn’t want to make a scene but I’m not going back for no damn touch up.

Uplift was an amazing tattoo experience! Everyone was super friendly, and Winnie was a wonderful artist to work with. I came in completely open and got two of their beautiful and unique flash tattoos. I highly recommend Uplift, especially if you’re nervous about the tattooing experience. It’s a beautiful, friendly and welcoming environment!

Ayala was super sweet and talented, this was my first tattoo and it came out super cute. I’m very happy with the tattoo itself and Ayala made it a super comfortable experience.

Great experience with at UPLIFT and with Lera in particular. We exchanged ideas prior to meeting; Lera gave me great advice: she had a few proposals ready when I arrived; all perfect. The process was seamless and I am extremely happy with the results.

My experience at this tattoo studio was 1000/10! I was in the city for my birthday and wanted to get a tattoo. My tattoo was done by Jakki (@jakkichantattoos) and she was so great! She was so nice and has super cute style. I am so happy with my tattoo, its perfect! The studio itself was very clean and welcoming. I will definitely return and I would recommend it to anyone!

I got my back tatted by William and the whole thing was a quick and dope operation. He did me right. Price was reasonable and Im really satisfied with my experience.

Nicest tattoo place we’ve ever been to hands down. Very very clean, very professional and not like any places we’ve ever gone (and we have lots of tattoos). My only complaint is that we booked online and paid the deposit. When we got there they acted surprised. It seemed a bit like they were annoyed we were there. When we booked, the email told us we would hear from them. We thought to talk about our tattoo desires. That never happened. So when we showed up it’s seemed very unplanned. The tattoo artist we had was very nice. We booked from 12-2pm. He was still working on me when his next appointment showed up and it seemed a bit hostile. In the end…..we liked it there but aren’t sure about booking online ever again. It also seems a bit pricey as 2 tattoos about 3 inches a pice cost us over $600.

I got a birthday tattoo with Winnie and it was a great experience. We took our time getting the design just right, and she let me work with placement for quite a while. The process was painless, and I absolutely love my new tattoo and constantly get compliments. Ill be back before the end of the year!

After being pretty nervous about getting my first tattoo, I came into the shop on an impulse after following them on insta for a couple years.And I’m SO GLAD I did!! From the entrance, the really nice and understanding guy at the appointment desk, and Winnie (the artist), my experience was amazing.Any remaining anxiety left when I saw how clean and clinical the shop is. Truly could not have a more perfect place to get your first tattoo. I got a flash for $200. If I’m ever in NYC again, I’m definitely going back. Follow them on insta and get on their email list!! They send out emails for special tattoos and new flashes.

My brother and I got matching tattoos of our mother’s signature and Santiago was a dream to work with. This was a very meaningful and memorable tattoo for the both of us and Santiago was absolutely the best. Everything was so clean, he’s was vey informative with anything we asked, great booking experience, and amazing line work. Her signature came out perfect. Would definitely come back and book with Santiago on my next piece.

First impressions of Uplift Tattoo are very favourable, a lovely bright airy space with minimal clutter. I was fortunate to have booked with Rui as she was meticulous with my design and very focused throughout the entire process. I am thrilled with my new tattoo.

I had my first two tattoos from Rui done for my birthday about 3 weeks ago and I love them so much! And as a broke college student, the discount she offered was very helpful for my wallet 😂 She was very friendly during our session and was even kind enough to answer my questions following after as well. I can easily say from experience that Rui is very attentive to detail while she works and even checked on me throughout our session to make sure I was comfortable. I hope to come back for more tattoos soon! Thank you Uplift and Rui for being awesome!

Ash is the absolute best!! Im very grateful for a tattoo artist like her. Not only has she done my first tattoo, but Ive gone to her for four more times and counting. Shes patient, friendly, and comforting. I genuinely appreciate how shes able to work with you the entire process. From initial sketches of ideas you have, to placement on your body - Ash is dedicated to getting it right. Ive sent friends her way as well and we all can agree that we will definitely keep booking with Ash.

Booked a last minute appointment with Ayala, who was kind, fun to chat with, and did a fantastic job on the tattoo. I was comfortable and enjoyed my time at Uplift!

I absolutely loved everything about Uplift. Scheduling was easy, I was able to communicate with the artist easily leading up to the appointment and I felt really comfortable the entire time. The atmosphere was spot on—stark white, clean lines, and modern feel. I had Ashley as my tattoo artist and I was amazed by her fine line work. The entire shop specializes in fine line work and you can find so much of that work on IG. I love that they share so much of their work so that you can really see and feel comfortable with their work. I flew in from IL to get a tattoo at Uplift with Ashley….and I’ll do it again!!!

My first time here I got a cartilage piercing from Aimee and had a positive experience, so I returned to get a tattoo. My tattoo artist Ash did an exceptional job not only on the tattoo, but for putting up with my accidental moving and rambling. I can’t wait to come back and get another from her!

Uplift had great vibes, and Lamb was incredibly helpful when I got my piercing! I really appreciated how helpful Lamb was in helping me to choose jewelry and how they walked me through the piercing process. Highly recommend!
