Can’t express enough how thrilled & grateful I am to have found this place and to work with Tamara - we are removing an arm sleeve of patchwork tattoos and she’s truly made this process so comfortable, easy, and exciting. Her knowledge, hospitality and care throughout this journey is exactly why I’m going to purchase another complete package removal for other tattoos that I don’t absolutely love. I look forward to our sessions and being more confident in my skin again :)

Positive experience, in a not so positive situation. Deciding to remove something “permanent” is a big deal, and the staff at Removery removed (see what I did there) the fear and anxiety of the process for me. Great experience! I was able to book a free consultation for my first tattoo removal very quickly. Upon entering I was immediately greeted and my technician was very friendly, knowledgeable and reassuring about the whole process. They accommodate our artists and clientele exceptionally well.Not only is this location convenient, but the staff are remarkably friendly and provide exemplary customer assistance with a thorough understanding of the procedure.In addition to using the most advanced removal technology available, the facility is pristine and spacious.We frequently encounter clients seeking solutions for poorly executed tattoos, often the best response would be to either cover it completely or remove and start over. In these cases we redirect them to Removery. Most places are pushy trying to sell more sessions, Removery does quite the opposite. Their goal is remove the pieces as best as possible with the least amount of visits. There simply isn’t a better place. Don’t hesitate to contact them and get a free quote.

I’ve been going to Removery since before they merged (or rebranded) with Clean Slate Laser in 2019. Despite being an appointment I dread every 3-6 months, the team does everything possible to make the experience as pleasant as possible. The team is extremely friendly, patient, and knowledgeable about the process. I respect that they do not make guarantees or promises and it’s a completely judgement free zone. I’ve seen amazing results with my tattoo being almost entirely faded (I’d likely be done with the process now if I didn’t lose 1.5 years to the pandemic.) and I’ve healed really well after every session.I decided I’m going to stick with my remaining tattoos for the rest of my life, but if I were to consider removing another I wouldn’t go anywhere else, and I’d highly recommend Removery for anyone looking to fade or remove a tattoo.

I have been to a few Removery locations and this is by far my favorite. The studio is immaculately clean and feels like a spa. Everyone is super kind, thorough, informative.. all the good stuff. Tamara is amazing and made sure I was super comfortable the whole time. She worked super fast and precisely, explained the whole process as she went, indulged all of my requests for breaks, and dare I say made an otherwise unpleasant experience pleasant and fun. I am working on removing a rather large peice and have requested she do all my future treatments. I am looking forward to going back and am so excited with the progress I am seeing. I have been going to Disney for years. He’s great at what he does and is honest. I have had alot of different tattoos undergo the laser treatments and they have all reacted differently. Some are totally gone like you would never know they were there, some have ink that is just stubborn and are very very faded-and will continue to fade, and some I am still in the process of removing and seeing good progress. Thank you Disney!

I don’t tolerate pain well, particularly the pain from the laser. In order for me to keep going to my appointments, I have to be iced and use my noise-cancelling headphones. The morning of my appt, I realized I’d lost my headphones. Victoria at the Flatiron location let me use her headphones so I could make it through. She also spent extra time icing me prior to the laser. This was the first time I’ve made it through lasering two giant tattoos without having to take any breaks. Highly recommend Victoria, especially if pain tolerance is a deciding factor of whether to get something lasered.- I apparently forgot to post the review above back in the spring, but now it’s summer and here to say Victoria is still my go-to. 10/10 service, 10/10 character, also I’m a nurse, and Victoria would be such an awesome nurse, like daisy award first year on the unit awesome.

I’ve been going to this location for about 6-8 months now and I can safely say the staff is knowledge , friendly and all around perfect in the process of removing your unwanted tattoos. The price varies depending on size and location but you’ll get a go at your own pace process that’s worth it in the end. Shout out‘s to the baldur’s gate crew and sweet potato milk tea !

This review is long overdue, but it has been very difficult for me to get into the right frame of mind to write it. When I initially came to Removery almost a year ago, I was not in a good headspace, to put it mildly. This place means a lot more to me than just a tattoo removal, and I hope it will to you too.I had just gotten a tattoo that was supposed to have been in honor of my feline companion of 14 years, who had just passed over to the rainbow bridge. However, the artist did not honor or respect my wishes, and the tattoo turned out horribly. I thought about getting it touched up, but I was so horrified and found it so disrespectful to my cat, I wanted a clean slate. I researched different removal options and Removery seemed like the most reputable, less predatory one (one place kept spamming me with texts and phone calls, even after I blocked their numbers).I went in for my consultation with Shanice. I was a complete wreck, and I cried and cried all over the place. I have several tattoos, most of them poorly thought out, but Ive never had such a visceral reaction to any of them as I did this botch job. Shanice was so warm and caring, and asked to see pictures of my cat (and his sisters) and wanted to hear stories. I probably spent an hour or more talking with her just about my cats alone.When it came time to actually talk about the actual tattoo, she was very informative and tempered my expectations. My tattoo is solid black and very saturated (especially because it was hot off the presses) so she told me up front that it was going to take time. Lots of time. I did my research ahead and I already knew that any place promising you quick results is lying to you, especially because mine is so dark. She did not rush me into a decision, and she also offered to ask her colleagues about their artist recommendations, just in case I decided to go the cover-up route. She actually did gather quite a bit of information about trusted artists, and took the time to email me about them. I decided to go forward with the removal, and I chose the unlimited package.So far, the only technician that has done my lasering has been Tamara. She is awesome. Believe it or not, though she causes me pain :) I do enjoy our visits and our chats, some of which have been very personal. The facilities are spotless, the restrooms are spotless, its just a lovely place to go and get my arm zapped every once in a while. Although its difficult to see a difference from day to day, the photos from each session gradually get lighter.Ive seen bad reviews on various platforms and on Reddit. While I understand that its frustrating to not see immediate results, I also understand why that is. Its like my divorce - why is this taking so long, we got married in 5 minutes at City Hall? Well, same thing applies here. It sucks. Some things just take time. Hopefully my divorce will be finalized before my tattoo is gone - I can tell you that much.

The staff at removery is great - everyone Ive spoken to was really informative, judgement free and super nice. And the facilities are top notch. I only decided to give an average rating because the technology could be better (for my particular skin/tattoo).I started with a smaller shop right when they were getting bought out by removery. I got one session with the original shops laser (q switch) which worked great. Then they became removery so my next session was with pico and the results after 4 pico sessions look almost the same as the q switch session with a bit of progress. Please keep in mind everyone is different and this was only MY experience. Pico might be the right option for you!And again, the staff is great and others results will vary. I think pico is really meant to be better for certain ink colors and maybe even certain skin tones but I dont know the science. I looked for a while for another facility with qswitch and didnt have much luck (I wouldnt be surprised if removery just wants to be the main player as Ive seen other reviews from people who started with other locations) so I opted for a dermatologist. They had qswitch and after the just first session the results were far superior. I only wish I wouldve done this sooner as I might have wasted less time.Ill say removery is great in every other way. I would honestly still recommend them just with the caveat of knowing other lasers might work better for you. Good luck to everyone on your journey!

It’s not easy to look at a tattoo that doesn’t make you happy. To put trust into someone again, this time to remove it is a very emotional and intimate process. A google review isn’t something I think that matters. I do want to advise anyone thinking of this path to have faith as Erin has helped tremendously in feeling happy about the skin i live in.

I just had to best experience at Removery NYC - Manhattan, Flatiron with Shanice! I stopped in because I wanted to get a consultation on a small tattoo on my rib cage that had already gone through a couple sessions of laser. Unfortunately the last place I went to (med spa) went too strong with the laser and left the area with hypopigmentation. Shanice was so kind to educate me on hypopigmentation and let me know that now is not the time to get treatment done. She told me I must left my skin heal from this first before we were to start the removal process again. It’s rare (especially in nyc) to come across business that truly transparent, so much so that they build your trust. I felt completely seen, heard, validated, and cared for. Thank you, Shanice!

Went for a second treatment for my tattoos with Removery at the Manhattan, Flatiron location. The staff is very sweet and accommodating. They informed me of what to expect afterwards and how to take care of myself post treatment. They’re the best!

This was my second round of laser tattoo removal but my very first time with Removery and the experience was so so good. I immediately felt welcomed and at ease which was clutch because I was feeling a bit nervous as I was getting laser done on my face. The initial intake process was so chill and friendly, the procedure was as painful as one could expect but I was treated so well throughout that I can’t wait to come back. Well, I was very excited to go to this place and start the journey to remove a tattoo. When I got to the place, a black lady at the desk asked my name. After I said my name (Im Brazilian so my name is not common here in the US), she started laughing loud and couldn’t stop laugh for at least 5-10 min when I was waiting at the front desk. She kept saying sorry and told me that was something she was listening on her airpods. It was the most embarrassing moment since I moved to the US. Clearly she was laughing at me because of my name. I thought about to leave and find another place to start the removal process. Since I was already there I decided to stay. But Im really sad since then. This was so unprofessional and unnecessary. Hopefully you can ready this and take action so this won’t happen with others.

Amazing experience here. Check in was super smooth and office is very clean. I was seen first by Bruno who explained the process as well as risks, aftercare and pricing. Not once was I pushed to do more or less and finance options were available and explained. Once I agreed on starting my treatment today I was seen by the lovely Victoria. She went over the aftercare and gave tips for a smooth healing period. The process was very quick the pain was more of an annoyance than anything. Highly recommend Removery at Park ave south.

I have been coming to get my tattoo removed for a few months now and I have to say Removery is the best place. The staff at the Park Ave South are incredible. They are fast and efficient and are ready to answer any questions. Also there is absolutely no judgement which is something I was fearful of at first. I have felt very good at each session. I came to Removery for the first time. I have never experienced any kind of laser treatment. Bruno was so knowledgeable and informative on the entire process. Rachel I believe is the person who did my FIRST laser session and it was sooo fast and I felt so comfortable being taken care by them as well. On top of that my tattoo is already fading out ! Yet it’s my first session. 5 stars for the amount of comfort I felt here! I’m excited to continue my process with them!

This place is incredible! I called for a free consultation and was able to get seen on the same day, and was also treated right then and there! While the service was great, I felt like I wasn’t being listened to when I expressed that I didn’t want to purchase a package over paying per session. I felt as if they were spending more time trying to sell me something I wasn’t interested in than the actual time that the session took.

Ive been hoping from location to location with Removery and everyone in the staff is always the same. Extremely comforting and do everything they can to ensure youre prepped for the laser! They always take their time with really icing the target area to help freeze your skin. After approx.....7 sessions now? I learned the longer you let the ice packs freeze your skin, the longer you can resist the laser. It is night and day for me. And I thank them for the patience for allowing me to freeze as long as I wish lol. FYI 1/7 of the tattoos Im removing is practically already gone!! (yay) the other 6 are extremely dense and large in size so I have a long way to go.... Also the new location in Flat Iron is stunning and they keep it extremely clean!

Plus, saw great results after just one session.I do wish they had more pricing transparency on their site or when I called. The phone rep couldnt even say if it was per session or what. It turned out to be pretty reasonable considering Manhattan prices (they do per session which I prefer), but shouldnt have to go in first to get pricing info.

I had the most pleasant experience regarding a consultation with Payton on 8/22. From her working with me in terms of a time frame given my busy work schedule all the way through pricing and her overall demeanor. Payton answered every question I had; she even as much as followed up to ensure I felt equipped with all the information that I needed to proceed when I myself was ready to do so. Payton went outside the typical scope of what a most consultation’s I have observed resemble. Payton provided me with very transparent responses regarding pricing, tentative amounts of needed sessions and the exact address of locations closest to me with their hours of operation. She came across as seasoned and equipped knowledge wise in terms of all the inquiries that I posed to her. Payton did not come across in a “selling” type of fashion but, rather a very professional new friend! This place is great! Staff is super friendly and Im currently 8 sessions in with my tattoos extremely faded. Dont get disheartened it takes time, and Im guilty of being impatient, but it does work.Theyve been getting a lot busier so make your appointments in advance and try not to change them last minute because rebooking can be challenge. I wish there was a direct office number to reach out to, or a way to book online for existing customers.

I went in for a free consultation today and had an amazing experience. To be honest, Im a tough critic when it comes to standards of professionalism, cleanliness, and service. Removery surpassed my expectations. Jamie was not only professional and very informative, she was also honest, friendly and she genuinely cared in regards to what I was expecting out of the treatment.These attributes can be easily overlooked but just a little bit of attention and care can go a long way. I felt very welcomed and knew that I was in good hands.They offer full tattoo removal. You pay a flat rate and you can get as many treatments until your tattoo is completely removed. They even gave me a complimentary laser spot test to see how my skin and body would handle the full treatment. This was also to better gauge the time frame in which the tattoo would be fully removed. The pain is not bad at all!Again thank you Removery but more importantly thank you Jamie for your service!

Erin at Removery has been working with me to remove a tattoo and I could not have had a better experience so far! Today was my 5th session and I’ve been extremely happy with my progress. Erin lets me know exactly what to expect, communicates with me during the lasering and offers that if I need a break she’s happy to take one. I haven’t needed a break yet which is all credit to Erin’s technique and the excellent equipment used. I am so love the squeeze ball she lets me use. I’ve always been treated very well here. They are 100% on time and well-prepared for appointments. They have a versatile clinical and technical team that provides care to each client together. When I first reached out to get more information, they scheduled a comprehensive consultation call right away. They appear to be a highly organized company, but they make a big effort to stay personal. I’ve had 4 sessions so far and my tattoo is significantly lighter. I am thrilled to see it lightening. I’ve had great experiences with all the techs but one in particular just stood out the most to me, her name is Kristen! She was compassionate, answered all my questions and explained everything she was doing along the way. I highly recommend her, she’s at the park Ave locations on Saturdays! Ask for her!

Wonderful experience with the staff & location. Had a hard time understanding the pricing & they were more than happy to explain. The team worked with me while in a rush to go into the Air Force, they were extremely accommodating. My tattoo is currently still healing but pretty much gone after 6 treatments. Also very impressed with their safety precautions in place due to COVID-19.

This Removery came recommended by a couple of friends so I came in for a consult and was very impressed and signed a contract for full removal. I have two back tattoos that are 15 years old and are faded, and something I didn’t want on my body as I keep aging into my 30s. I was able to set up a no-interest payment plan, and I feel the pricing is fair for how many treatments are needed and the level of skill required with such a powerful laser. The procedures are painful but quick and the staff are friendly and positive, and patient. I recommend this business and its people.

I have no doubt theyll see me through until the job is done! Particular credit to Ana, whose empathetic bedside manner is essential during a frequently painful process. She is up front about which laser (Pico or Revlite) well be using and why, and I feel like Im in good hands with her. After my 3rd treatment, i’m starting to see the difference which was surprising given what I had read on past comments regarding the effects on skin tones darker than fair. You’re given an ice pack to apply for a few minutes to numb the area and the laser begins right after. The cooling machine takes some of the edge off but the treatment is fairly quick. The staff are very friendly and make the process comfortable.Looking forward to my end result! 🙂

(Posting on behalf of my wife, since I write most of the Google reviews) The Finery has been great so far! Shes had two tattoo removal sessions for two old tattoos, one black, one blue. The black one is almost gone already, while the blue one looks like itll need a few more sessions. She had come in for a session a few months ago, but realized she couldnt do it as she was on antibiotics, and they didnt charge a cancellation fee. This was a great demonstration of customer care on their part, as they could have a) not cared about the safety of their customer/patient as much as they did and/or b) charged a stiff fee.Both technicians shes had have been great - the last one (sorry, missed her name) was relaxed, skilled, and had a good sense of humor. She allowed additional time to really numb the tattoos on my wifes back before proceeding with the laser, which made a big difference. The prices arent cheap, but (it was explained to us) its because the capital cost of the lasers can exceed $300k. And it seems to be worth the cost. Recommended!

I have been searching for months to find the best tattoo removal center. I have some hefty work from years ago that I finally decided I want to lighten and eventually cover up. Knowing that this would be a fairly long road ahead of me (were talking years...) I needed to find a place where I was comfortable and also had 100% confidence in. I heard about The Finery through a friend and decided to give them a try. From the moment you walk in, the front desk staff is extremely warm and welcoming. I was immediately taken to a room by Ana to start my consultation. She ran through everything including the laser process itself, the healing process, amount of sessions and pricing while answering all my questions (which I hardly had any considering she was super clear and thorough about everything). Alot of people (including myself) head to these sessions thinking the laser is going to zap the tattoo away when in reality its actually YOUR body that does ALL the work and removal, the laser just assists...crazy right? Theres more to that but Ana can explain when you see her... I made an appointment and started my treatment right away. Yes, it is uncomfortable and there are some intense zings I call them, but all bearable considering its like a 3 minute process! Also, ice is used to help with the discomfort which I believe helped a bunch!! After my session we went over aftercare again and on my way I went to let my body start working. I can already see a difference after one session!If youre considering tattoo removal, just do yourself the favor and definitely go with The Finery!

I have been getting one of my sleeves removed here for the past year and every time I’m here it’s great. Even though the process is uncomfortable the staff are always so nice and comforting. They work with your comfort level to make it as easy as possible. I think at this point I have been laser es by everyone at this location and they are all wonderful. Their equipment is efficient and in 5 sessions, the shading in my tattoo faded. There are results. You do have to be patient and yes it does hurt, some sessions more than others. Removery is great. Would highly recommend. Kind staff and good results.

These guys are the real deal! Every time I go they have been nothing but great and friendly and always making the experience wonderful!
