My nephew and I started our New York overnight with matching guitar and NYC skyline tattoos. Damian did his and Felipe did mine. Both guys were kind and meticulous. I was done first and asked the owner Ledja about an old and faded eagle tattoo which she ended up fixing for me and it also came out great. We had such a positive experience at this place. Friendly service, great work, reasonable prices!!

While in NYC on vacation, I decided a new piece would be needed. I was able to get in to see Sabrina - who is an absolute sweetheart - and give her a drawing for my piece that was drawn by my daughter. Sabrina is so talented and captured my daughters art perfectly. The studio is lovely! It has a beautiful seating area to wait and a bright clean area to work. I really cant properly express my experience, but it was a perfect end to this vacation and I really hope I have the opportunity to visit this beautiful studio again!

Ive been going to Ledja for 2 years now. Every time Im in Manhattan, she is great. But she also has other artists there who are just as good. They do take walk-ins, but I always call ahead to see if I need an appointment. 6 brought in rough ideas from designs i thought up, and they made it happen, and if youre unsure, they will give you recommendations on how to make it look legit. Theyre legit there from 12p-12a. They are doing $100+ dollar tattos for Friday the 13th, so get there early.

The entire process was amazing. Emailed to discuss options and time for an appointment. Reply was within 3hours. Went in the next day, met with Ledja (owner). She designed an epic tattoo with my ideas, and I got the tattoo done straight away. Fine line work is just brilliant, along with the rest of course.Recommended going here for sure! Well priced too.

Wonderful experience getting my 1st tattoo with them! Right in Times Square so super convenient in terms of public transport to the location. Sabrina was amazing to work with and did an incredibly detailed job. Would highly recommend people checking this place out. If you have questions before hand just dm them on instagram!

I soooo wish I had positive things to say about the tattoo I got here not only because it’s for flipping ever on my wrist but also because Lydia was so nice. Unfortunately, it looks like I did it myself. It looks like a pretty good jail tattoo. Honestly. I don’t know what goes into ensuring a beautiful finished product (quality of ink, skill of artist, is some skin difficult— I have no idea) but the lines are uneven, it is blurry. It is so ugly. I think the artist tried to cover up a blow out by shading which was never discussed? I waited a month to write this review just hoping hoping hoping it would miraculously heal different and settle in. But nope, it’s terrible and now I have to spend a lot of time and money and some more pain getting it removed. Avoid this place.

Came here for my first tattoo (my dogs foot print). Everyone was really nice. My tattoo artist Damian was amazing. I was a walk in. They were able to see me same day. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a tattoo to check this place out.

Cant say enough about what a great job Ledja did on a photo realistic pine tree on the back of my arm. I had an idea of what I wanted and shared a few images of inspiration Id saved, and she was able to draw her own design which turned out better than anything Id seen (all in the same day)! Had great conversation during the hour of work. Was a great time and would recommend for a fun collaborative experience. Some reviews mentioned higher price, but Ledja is VERY talented and the location is in Times Square so you get what you pay for! Its absolutely worth it for something that youll have forever.

I had really bad work from another artist all over my hand and arm. it was crooked, spotty, and didn’t even look like a tattoo but i came here to ledja and she redid and reshaded the whole tattoo so beautifully that no one could even tell it was a coverup. also her technique was really good because i felt significantly less pain from the tattoo even though it was on my hand and wrists. all the artists here were kind and the owners daughter even did my friends tattoo beautifully! i will definitely be back here!

Wandered over to this shop during a conference with some friends thinking we wanted piercings. Although Ledja wouldn’t do a nose piercing (totally fine), I had her re-pierce my forward helix after a couple of my older pieces had fallen out (top and bottom ones were done by Ledja). As I was getting that done, my friends decided to get tattoos, so I jumped on board and chose a large flash piece. My friend got a beautiful piece by Ledja before me, then I got a similar one (the one in the photos). Ledja is a phenomenal artist and I highly recommend her! Her work fit perfectly into a sleeve I’m working on and I’m thrilled with the quality and price.I will say just ask to see samples of the work done by some of their younger artists. Ledja is AMAZING, but my husband got a simple piece from a young artist and we’re not thrilled (the lines were not clean and the letters were rough). My husband is highly tattooed and very tolerant, but this one will need cleaning up after it heals (we’re opting not to add a photo to this review).

Ledja was so kind and professional. She did 3 small flash tattoos for me and was very thoughtful about some of the color detailing. I appreciated how she made recommendations to the style so it would fit well with other tattoos I had in the area.

My friend and I had an excellent experience getting our first tattoos here!Zezi is an incredibly talented, friendly, and accommodating artist. She designed a unique stencil for me very fast, and made the tattooing process very comfortable. 3 months later, and my piece has healed nicely.Thank you, Zezi!

Walked in without an appointment and with a couple inspiration pictures on our phones… walked out with Nyla’s PERFECT handiwork! She was awesome to work with! Super clean place, very knowledgeable team. Would recommend to anyone!

Shouldve done this review a while back but am only finally settling down now and realizing how much this tattoo I got from them still gets me heavily irritated.A friend and I went for their flash sale a while back, waited about 8-9 hours for it only to be unhappy with the outcome. Tired and hungry, all I wanted was to get my tattoo and get out of there.The design and color I like, but the placement really annoys me because the old lady whom I got who did my tattoo complained how it looks WEIRD and does NOT LOOK GOOD with the way I wanted it to be and suggested how it should look. A good suggestion wouldve been her nicely putting it instead of sounding like she was forcing it. After waiting over 8 hours, I was too tired to argue and I just really wanted to go home and get it over with. Even when someone compliments how much they like it, I just dont feel happy about it.Giving a 1 star feels unfair to the other artists but the experience was terrible over all.

Walked in with my cousin on her Birthday trip! Tuba greeted us and made my cousins very 1st tattoo happen! Tuba took her time and made sure my cousin was happy with what she wanted as a drawing, then placed it where she wanted it! Close to her heart, and it came out PERFECT!We definitely recommend this tattoo parlor! Please do not let the negative Nellies stear you away. Check it out for yourself, like we did!

Decided to have a tattoo as part of my visit to New York. Found Art Ink and have to say I am so pleased that I found them. Such a friendly environment.Sabrina Did my tattoo last night and she was great. She put together a design of the Statue of Liberty and made it personal to how I wanted. She’s clearly a very good tattoo artist and if I visit NYC again I’ll be going back to have another one.Thank you

I came here to get a spontaneous tattoo with my friends, and the experience wasn’t bad. I got a simple pine tree design on my ankle, it took no time at all, but some of the lines aren’t very straight. Specifically what was meant to be the trunk of the tree. It was $100. I was a walk in, so it was nice being able to just walk in and get it done, but the lines bother me a bit. The price wasn’t bad, but not ideal for how small the tattoo is. Would I go here again? Probably not, but for an in the moment decision it wasn’t a terrible experience.

Disappointing experience for my first tattoo. I wish I could say more positive things in this review, but I almost can’t. My friend and I came for a tattoo, it was $100. I showed her the design I wanted and this was the photo I showed her. She went and printed out a drawing of the same tattoo and showed it to me for my confirmation, the drawing looked exactly like the photo I showed her and I said yes, let’s do it. She says she asked me “Do you want me to fill it in black?” I didn’t hear her clearly, but I thought she was referring to the Color black which is what I showed her after we both agreed and finalized the decision to have it tattooed on me. When she started to ink the tattoo on my hand, everything was fine as she was doing the outline as I asked. Then, she started to fill in the whole heart with black ink! When that’s not what I showed her. I stopped her almost half way through. The heart isn’t very even on both sides btw if you look at the photo of the tattoo she gave me (1st pic). Even if I said yes and thought she was referring to my original tattoo idea, I wish she wouldn’t have confused me by asking me if I wanted to fill in my tattoo when that was NOT AT ALL what we agreed to when we confirmed the specific tattoo that I wanted. That’s not even the picture that I showed her. If I showed her a clear heart, I don’t know what made her ask me if I wanted to fill in the heart. I’m upset because now I’m either gonna have to bare with a permanent tattoo that I don’t entirely like for the rest of my life, or I’m gonna have to have multiple expensive sessions in agony just to laser it off. I’m scarred and don’t even wanna get a tattoo after this experience.

Juan was great!!! I came last minute spare of the moment shop was clean and welcoming. Juan made me feel comfortable and made getting my NY tattoo a great experience. I highly recommend Juan and Art Ink Tattoo you will not be disappointed.

This place is amazing! Was visiting NYC and was looking to get a tattoo. Ledja was so welcoming from the moment we entered and she had no issues with what I was wanting! Ive been waiting a long time to get my cousins signature tattooed on my arm as he passed away in 2018. She was so kind and I couldnt be happier with how it turned out. I dont think she fully understands how much this meant to me! Thank you so much and Ill be back next time I visit! Highly recommend this place!

I showed up one hour before they closed to get my nipples pierced, and I still cannot believe how absolutely amazing Ledja was. I have had my nipples pierced before and it was so incredibly painful… so I have to say I was SO nervous…. But Ledja did such an amazing job, so quick, so precise, just all around so great. If anyone sees this, and is interested in getting anything done by her, do it!! I literally told my boyfriend that if I ever decide to get another piercing we’d have to take a trip out to New York to do it. 10/10 would recommend this shop. Thank you again Ledja!!!

This past weekend was my 1st time in NYC and to commemorate my experience and my love for Tim Burton (after seeing Sweeney Todd on Broadway) I wanted to get my 1st tattoo in NYC. I saw all of the great reviews for Art Ink Tattoo Studio and most of them were from people getting their 1st tattoo there. Needless to say, I had the most incredible experience there! Ledja, the owner, was very nice and helpful. Shaniya, who helped me with my tattoo design and did my 1st tattoo was amazing! The next afternoon my mom wanted a tattoo and Noah did and amazing job then I myself got my 2nd tattoo which turned out amazing! I HIGHLY recommend visiting Art Ink Tattoo Studios while you are in NYC!

Forgive me but I do not not how to spell the lady’s name. However, she was great! I only got a simple line tattoo however she was friendly, quick, professional, and it was a very clean place. Highly recommend.10/10 stars.Everyone was nice and they all seemed to be experienced. I will definitely come back next time I am in New York.

I went to this shop looking to get a couple tattoos. I’d first like to say how clean the shop is and how welcoming and personable they are. It was also pleasantly cool during some extreme heat in New York. I was able to be tattooed by both Armando and Natalia. They are both such nice people and incredibly talented individuals. Both very communicative of the process and aftercare. It’s always great to find quality tattoo artists who clearly have such an amazing talent for tattooing and Armando and Natalia are definitely it. I highly recommend booking an appointment with them, because they will put wonderful art on your body!

I would definitely come back for another tattoo! Everyone that works here is extremely nice and it was a clean and comfortable environment. We went for their friday the 13th tattoo flash because of the great prices. The artists were there doing the flash for over 12 hours with tons of people and were still doing amazing work at the end of the day!

This by far was the best tattoo shop I have ever visited. I travel roughly 30 minutes from Jersey into NYC just to be seen by Ledja specifically. Her work is impressive, she is extremely trustworthy, and does a great job in short time. She knows what shes doing and thats why I will continue to receive her work from here on out. My friends worked with different artists as well and everyone was extremely happy with their results. Any artist there can do the job. Store is clean, sanitary, bathroom available. Walk ins accepted! Overall amazing experience and highly recommend.

Rocky is BY FAR the most talented artist I’ve come across. Having followed her art since long before she tried her hand at tattooing, I was curious how her artistry would translate from the wall to skin. I had a vague idea of the tattoo I wanted. Not only did she perfectly capture the essence of my vision, she put the pieces together in a way that were more refined than what I could’ve imagined myself. With her clientele growing fast, she’s going to keep getting even better!Art Ink is a great place for a tattoo. The staff is friendly and professional. Although it’s right off of Times Square, it’s tucked away just enough for the atmosphere in the shop to be relaxed. Overall, the customer experience was great. I’ll definitely be back!

I had worked done with Michaela, she was absolutely phenomenal and a pleasure to work with. She was extremely patient with me and was truly passionate about her work. I could not be happier with the outcome of my first tattoo! Such a kind and welcoming space, I will definitely be coming back soon!

Kalani is an amazing artist! She made sure I was comfortable and made the process as seamless as possible. Re-aligned the stenciling several times until perfect (for me) before tattooing over it. While the space is small, they were all very warm and welcoming, down to Earth. Highly recommend this place!

I went here to get my new tattoo for my birthday.I was amazed with how beautiful and clean the place was. Ledja is a true artist that is born once in a century! Really professional really friendly that made this long process so much easier for me. Im going back in a month from now to get my second tattoo from her. Ledja was so fun to chat with while getting our tattoos done. My girlfriend and I showed up a few hours before midnight, without reservations for 3 small tattoos, and she was happy to help decide on our artwork and get them all done very quickly! Came by the other day for a tattoo and I’m extremely pleased, very friendly people and a really great price! It cost about the same as my previous work, yet this one is much more complicated. Beautiful work too, it is not yet healed but I really love it- from the outside the place may look a little bit sketchy, but once you go in it’s very very clean and professional. Would very highly recommend if you’re in the area. Lots of talent here!

I came to New York for a visit and I wanted to get something besides a T-shirt. My experience was so great! Kalani was my Artist and she was so sweet and nice I told her what I wanted and she gave me exactly what I want it! This is my first tattoo ever and I’m so in love with it❤️. The next time I come to New York I will definitively stop by and get another one!!!

I have been coming in for about a month now, once a week doing a tattoo with Ledja. She listens to what I want and takes my ideas and brings them to life! She works her ink magic and is an awesome artist! Shop is clean and beautiful, everybody is very friendly! I wish i could give more than 5 stars. Highly, highly recommended!

I was a little nervous going in because Art Ink is very different from the other studios Ive been tattooed at, but I was so pleasantly surprised. Michaela gave me this worm tattoo that I saw from her flash and it turned out great, she and Kalani both made it a super pleasant experience. I love this tattoo so much and I would be more than happy to go back for my next tattoo.

OMG can barely explain how amazing my experience was. Not only is the location a beautiful walk to for anyone not from NYC, but a beautiful tattoo studio as well!! The aesthetic is unique and light to make you feel right at home and with the friendly staff it was like a sigh of relief to be in their care. Incredibly clean and talented, my artist Michaela printed out several sizes of the stencil for the tattoos my girlfriend and I got (not matching don’t worry everyone) to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted without that awkward “I don’t want to be a pain BUT can we change the size or placement” that we have all lowkey experienced before.Incredibly happy with my experience and will be returning for future tattoos!!

Highly recommend this tattoo shop. First let me just say I am so happy Ledja branched out and opened her studio in NYC. The atmosphere of her studio is chill and very clean. The artist are from what I have seen do great work, clean lines and creative.I met Ledja at another studio and she actually took at tattoo that I hated on my arm and transformed it into something beautiful. Her work is outstanding and a great price. She can take your ideas and bring them to life in a piece of artwork or correct someone else’s mistakes. Can’t wait for our next session.

Me and my friends went to New York for a recent trip and we knew we wanted tattoos. ArtInk was one of the most recommended spots when we were there. All I saw from reviews were great things in regards to good pricing, top notch artists, and good vibes. Definitely all those reviews met my expectations. I had a pleasure to also make good bonds with some of the artists and although we were there for 6+ hours into the night it was very fun especially since the crew was cool! Recommend all the artists and shoutout to Armando, Kale, and Ledja they were great! Great skill and very talented people.

This is hands down the best tattoo shop in the city!!! the atmosphere is SO welcoming, the shop is spotlessly clean and the artists are a DELIGHT. Ledja is one of the most talented artists I’ve ever seen, she has decades of experience and has run shops in Italy and Greece before coming here. The other artists Kalani and Rocky are wonderful as well, they are hilarious and charismatic not to mention talented.This is the type of shop where you know they’re going to take care of you every time. The prices are SUPER reasonable and they are centrally located in Times Square so there’s no excuse not to check it out!! Art Ink Tattoo is incredible. The space is clean and inviting, with Grecian-style busts decorating the shelves. I came here because tattoo artist and owner Ledja worked in another shop when I met her and when she left I followed! Her style, line work, and friendly nature make me very comfortable. She even offered me an espresso! That’s the first time I’ve ever seen that in a tattoo shop lol. I am so happy to see that she has opened her business here in NYC. Ledja is also very humble considering her skillset: she hails from Italy where she was classically trained in art, has an MFA, and even operates another tattoo shop in Greece. If you’re considering getting a tat, I could not recommend any shop or artist more.

Zezi did an amazing job on the micro realistic bee design and the execution of the tattoo. She was accommodating and made me feel comfortable for my first tattoo. The owner Ledja and Sabrina were also very sweet!

Went to Art Ink Tattoo studio today to get a small piece to fill in a spot on my sleeve. Kalani did a great job on the piece, I love it! She has an amazingly light touch. It was done it a pretty sensitive spot and I barely felt anything. I wish every tattoo I get would feel like that. If you’re looking to get a piece done in the style Kalani specializes in and you’re nervous about getting a tattoo because of pain, you should absolutely consider going to Kalani.The studio itself is beautifully done and exceptionally sanitary...well done.I booked another piece here before I left. Wry excited about it!

This place is the best. You literally can’t go wrong with any of the artists, my sisters and I all went in as walk ins with different ideas of styles for our tattoos & they paired us with the perfect artists for each of our styles! All three of them came out amazingly and we literally could not be happier. All of the artists were so friendly and helpful. Seriously, go here.

Ledja is the most amazing and professional tattoo artist! She covered all my old tattoos with the most beautiful pieces and shes the only artist I trust for any tattoo on my body. Even if it means I have to travel from Belgium to get her artwork on my body! Im a client for 6 years now and only the best experience with Ledja as my tattoo artist...and as an amazing person of which I feel blessed to know her!!!

Got my third tattoo from Ledja. She’s very talented and very professional. Great work. Very clean, small place. Lot of personal attention. Looks sketchy from the outside, but don’t let that turn ya off. It’s Times Square. This is the only place I’m planning to go to get ink from now on.

I went to get my tattoo was a walk-in and it was a cover up which other places told me would be difficult to do. But my artist Ledja did an AMAZING JOB I definitely recommend her and I will be back again. This is going to be my permanent tattoo spot. I highly recommend going to this spot.

Just moved to NYC and wanted a tattoo, so I ended up here and wowowow. Ledja drew up the piece I wanted perfectly, and Armando (@ghostiink) did the tattoo. They are aamaaaazing the line work is incredible, and i will for sure be back to get another tattoo. We were both super thrilled with the outcome, and they were cracking jokes making the whole situation so much more light hearted and fun. Also, talk about a light hand it barely hurt at all! Great prices as well, and a fun group of people - come here if you are in NYC!

Really cute and clean spot! i’ve gotten tattoos done by ledja before and when i when i found out she had her own shop open i had to go. although she didn’t do my tattoo this time, i got tatted by kalani and she was an absolute sweetheart! i love it so much and will for sure be going back!

The best thing to come out of 2021 so far! I felt so beyond comfortable at this tattoo studio, Kalani and Rocky and Ledja are the absolute best and beyond talented. I was there on Sunday where I got a tattoo of a bee with high detail done by the wonderful Michaela! I am amazed by how soft her handling of the needle was that the sternum tattoo was not nearly as painful as my lower sternum tattoo from a different artist was.Would highly recommend this shop as well as Michaela for your next tattoo!

I went to Art Ink Tattoo for my first tattoo ever and it was an incredible experience! I got tattooed by Kelani, and I could not be happier with the finished results. The atmosphere of the place is very relaxed and professional. I also was able to get a piercing as well right after my tattoo. I now have tattoo fever and am currently sitting in Art Ink Tattoo right now getting my second tattoo.

After having a entire fiasco on NYC tattoo shop on friday 13th. Leidja was kind enough to have me the next day and gave me 2 master pieces. Best thing that happened to me after a bad day. Loved everybody at the shop, they are all super sweet. Definitely coming back and bringing my mom.

I had my first face (nose) piercing here last night. I was quite nervous, but Foto was so gentle and put me at so much ease. The place was very very clean and professional, and I really liked the energy of the studio. I will be coming back in the future. A hidden gem!

The artist Ledja is very unprofessional and unorganized. She did a big piece for me on my back which she messed up. I reached out to her and it took a long time for her to get back to me and I had to double text her to get a response at times. I had an appointment set with her to fix her mistake and she never confirmed nor reached out to me for that appointment. Not that it matters anymore because I got it fixed by another artist at RedInk Tattoo Studio.

Kate (@goobydoodly) is AMAZING. She was so sweet and made my tattoo even better than I pictured it in my head. Would give her 10 stars if I could ! The whole staff is super kind and I will definitely be coming back. 10/10.

Michaela gave me a stunning pomegranate from her flash - large piece above the knee. The fine lines and shading are beautiful, it almost looks like a pencil drawing you’d find in a historical book of field notes. I love it! Everyone in the shop was generous, caring, and hilarious. Felt right at home even though it was my first time in. Have to shoutout Foto - that sandwich was a work of art! So now not only do I have a new favorite tattoo studio, but I’ll definitely make my way to Telegraphe Cafe for that caprese. Thank you! I’ll be back soon!

The store was able to take walk-ins and got right to work when given the tattoo ideas. @channeltattoo did our tattoos and she did an incredible job on the ghost and 1995 in Roman numerals.

A little upset. A friend and I went there this past week to get a little funny tattoo. Needless to say they put the tattoo upside down and slanted. So not only was it 280 in total for not even 20 mins of work. (120 for each plus tip) the tattoo is upside down forever. Not happy at all.

I’m sure the ladies are great but but the man in there tattooing was literally tweaking, sweating, clearly in drugs and was seconds from tattooing myself and my friend before we decided to leave and save our skin, protect ourselves ladies

My sister and I trusted the excellent reviews and entered this little place in Times Square...at first glance we had a great time...the owner Ledja was very kind and nice and immediately understood what we wantedGetting tattooed... he delegated it to two boys, his students, to whom he gave very detailed step-by-step instructions... here we immediately realized that something was wrong: the boy who tattooed me was very hesitant, he kept staring at me and trembling ...just a novice boy...he couldnt even open the nozzle of the disinfectant...the girl, who in the meantime was tattooing my sister, seemed more confident...while the lady (owner) continued to give directions and advice... the price, quite high for a very small design (€120), is absolutely not correct as the boy completely messed up my tattoo, going outside the stensil, creating small halos at the wrong angle and skipping various pieces... he was sweating cold! My sisters inOverall it came out well but it still has some flaws... after 1 hour I went back to the studio to have the tattoo relaxed by the owner... the result is two completely different tattoos... I find it unfair to have tests done on other peoples skin just because they are tourists... the reviews spoke of her, not of kids who are just starting out... the price is in fact too excessive to be done by two incompetents! Im sorry because the owner is very kind, friendly and talented... if you go ask explicitly for Ledja...
