The place is amazing. The penthouse on the 18th floor you’re welcomed with a cup of coffee or tea, everybody is so kind and clean. Their job is extraordinary. Cesar is my tattoo artist and he is great in all details. I have been here twice already and returning tomorrow again. Highly recommended.

Just spent the first 2 of 3 sessions with Paul Aramayo at InkNation. Their place is great, their artists are awesome, and everyone there makes you feel at home. I came from St. Louis, because when it comes to a tattoo, one should only go to the best; you get what you pay for. I had the pleasure of finding Ink Nation on YouTube, and after several months of watching I decided to take the plunge and get my first ever full arm sleeve. The team at Ink Nation Studio were extremely kind and welcoming. For a newbie to tattoos I was nervous but they put my mind at ease. My artist Nicolas was absolutely amazing! I trusted his judgement and he nailed it with every stroke of the needle. The team work and camaraderie amongst all of the artists was great to see. Everyone encouraging each others work, and leaning on one another for advice and guidance made for a true team experience. My only regret was not coming to their studio much sooner in life!A million thanks to Juliana, Leo, and my artist Nicolas Asencios for making my experience at Ink Nation Studio so memorable and fun. Truly the best experience ever!

After my first session at ink nation I’d be hard pressed to go anywhere else. The staff was welcoming and very helpful. My artist Ember Cesar took the time to design my tattoo multiple times without hesitation until the design looked exactly the way I envisioned it. The quality of work is outstanding and the shop is very clean and professional. I look forward to many more sessions and can not wait to see what my finished sleeve comes out to be.

Miguel Hest absolutely blew my expectations out of the water for my tattoo. He knew just how important this tattoo was for me and really put a lot of time and effort into my design. He listened to me and my vision and really brought it to life. He was so kind, gentle, and sweet. He asked numerous times how I was doing and would check in periodically. He truly is an awesome individual and an incredible tattoo artist. He’s very soft spoken and makes you feel comfortable. His artistic abilities are beyond impressive and I 1000 percent would recommend him to anyone. I put all my trust into his abilities and he did not let me down. Had a great time for the first session on my new tattoo. Everyone was both welcoming and happy. A nice environment to come into. Zhimpa Moreno is a master of his craft. He took my feeble attempts at describing my imagined tattoo and gave me something better than I could dream of myself.

I reached out to InkNation for a tattoo on my inner bicep, featuring an intricate chemical compound that holds sentimental value for me. I was open to suggestions on artists, and the shop recommended Baru because of his skill with detailed designs. Let me tell you, Baru exceeded my expectations with his incredible attention to the minimalistic details.My experience was fantastic—Baru and the staff were great. The studio was spotless and clean, with a really positive vibe, and everyone was super helpful. The tattoo turned out absolutely amazing, I was so happy with the final result! The pricing was also excellent for the quality I received. Ill definitely be returning for any future work.

I’ve had three tattoo sessions from other shops and artists but none have even been close to this experience and professionalism. I was a bit skeptical because of the sticker shock until I changed my perspective of what I receive for the price. I’ve had outstanding communication with the shop and the artist. Adrian Rod did a substantial amount of preparation for the art prior to me ever being in the shop. He took into account the shape of my body and how the piece should be oriented for the best effect. Finally but certainly not least, his work with the tattoo gun is unparalleled to anything I’ve experienced. He has amazing depth and shading and the aftercare is the easiest I’ve had. Not a single bit of scabbing or bubbling! He took pictures and video of the piece when he was done for the day and it was nice that an artist was equally as proud of his work as I was to have it on me. I couldn’t be happier and will gladly go back for the rest of my sleeve.

My partner discovered this studio on Instagram/website back in 2021, and since then, has completed two projects and is currently working on a new one. Each artist here brings their own unique style and expertise, and their work consistently receives recognition in competitions around the world. The quality and meticulous process of their work inspired me to start a tattoo project. Roberto Carlos, the recommended artist for both my partner and me, specializes in hyperrealism and surrealism, working with both color and black-and-grey. We provided only the elements we wanted and trusted his creative insight to design the rest.I’ve learned that just because my partner can comfortably handle 8-10 hours of tattooing doesn’t mean I will have the same experience. Pain tolerance and limitations vary from person to person, but don’t let the prospect of multiple sessions discourage you. It’s easy to feel disheartened if you have to stop early, but once you see the finished artwork in the mirror, you’ll realize it’s all worth it. I’m currently five sessions in and always look forward to the next one, knowing that a masterpiece is being created. Despite not speaking Spanish, my partner and I have always felt incredibly comfortable and welcomed by the Inknation family. Everyone at the studio contributes significantly to its impressive success by working as a team and supporting the artists growth. They offer honest feedback and advice to ensure that every client has the best experience possible.

I went to Inknation to get an old stick n poke on my chest covered. I traveled from Ecuador to NYC specifically for Paul to do my memorial tattoo piece. Hes by far one of my favorite artists in the world. The studio was clean and welcoming. I could not be any happier that I chose this studio and Camilo as the artist. I am beyond pleased. This is by far the cleanest, most professionally ran studio I’ve ever been in. The experience was worth all the trips from Oklahoma ! When I brought my idea for the cover up, it was great working with an artist that could make it happen, he was patient through all my changes and spent the time it took to make it right ! His work ethic and talent are unmatched. Through the several sessions I was able to see other artists work and how they all seem like one family. I believe this is a collection of some of the best artists in the world. I ended up doing a full sleeve but the outer arm was basically all cover up. The inner arm is even more amazing. I worked with Nicko on a design that I wanted, but had no idea how to put it all together. He took the design to an entirely new level and blew my mind. He took his time with the placement and until both of us were 100% with the design, location, and size, we didnt start.Also, the longest I had ever sat for was 3 hours for any of my others, so knowing this design was a half sleeve I was concerned. But I had no idea 6 hours passed in our first session other than I was getting hungry. He has an incredibly gentle touch and after only one session Im already in love with the piece and adding more work for the next design.Best design, work, healing, and communication Ive ever had. Incredibly friendly staff and group of artists that make you feel comfortable from the moment you step in. Cannot recommend this studio or my artist enough!

While visiting NY from Europe, I had a random idea to have a tattoo as a memory and walked into this place (even tho they don’t do walk ins) hoping for the best. Julianna (I hope I wrote your name right) went above and beyond to find a free spot in one any of the artists’ schedule for that day and finally could arrange it with J Luis. He was really professional and did an amazing job based on my rough sketch and idea. The shop has a very good vibe and everyone was really nice. Would definitely go back, highly recommend! :)

This tattoo shop its awesome. They have so many talented artists, but my dude Emmerson is amazing. I just got my 2nd tattoo from him. Both tattoos were hyper-realistic pictures of my dogs. Im already planning to go back to him to do a cover up of a previous tattoo.I feel like he just gets me. He kind of knows what I want before I even do. He is a true artist and I feel so lucky to get have a true work of art on me permanently. Hes ruined me, theres no going back, I can only have this quality of work from now on.

Paul Aramayo repaired two heavily damaged tattoos that were scarred and pretty much destroyed due to a skin problem which I no longer have. He changed the background color completely (I never liked) improving the contrast in colors in my new tattoos. I never felt that Paul was rushing to finish. He takes his time, is meticulous and, based on my tattoos and others he’s done, he is obviously very talented and his work speaks for itself! I couldn’t be happier with the end result of the two tattoos which looked terrible to start with! Happy to recommend Paul and InkNation. Everyone was super helpful and the studio is roomy, well-organized with a great atmosphere. Paul and staff couldn’t have been more pleasant to work with. So I’m more than happy to recommend!!

I had a good experience at Inknation. The customer service was great and my assigned artist made me feel comfortable and relaxed. The atmosphere was professional and the location was clean. My only suggestion would be to either add the name of the business outside the building or send a picture of the building to customers once their appointment is confirmed as the location is not easily identified despite using google/waze maps.

I started by getting my first tattoo 9 months ago with Pablo; now, both my arm sleeves are almost complete. Great experience!! Actually my first tattoo. Design even came out better than expected, amazing shading. Denisse even went the extra mile to ensure the tattoo turned out perfectly and looked complete. Highly recommend to others and will definitely be returning when ready for more additional work.

Talented artists for sure, be careful who you choose to go to. Went in for my first appointment artist made me wait 5 hours so he can redesign the tattoo. Went in for a second session 2 weeks later waited 2 hours for him to start. From agreeing to 3 sessions to complete it he told me “I need 4 sessions bro” I’m the type that goes with the flow and I would never want to disagree with someone putting needles in my arm but after how the second part of the tattoo heeled I am in disbelief I gave this business my time. I spend 19 hours in the shop and the artist posted on instagram “12 hours in” you should be ashamed of yourselves my time is money. I asked him to specifically not go too dark around the elbow and he went in for W hours in the elbow. After the second session was finished I asked for saniderm instead of the tattoo armour my artist laughed in my face and said “you ain’t getting that bruh!” He managed to tell me I was the best ideal client bc I don’t complain or ask too many questions. Well yea I’m not going to give you orders I’m paying you I expect the job to be done efficiently and well not taking ur time and making me wait around the studio like I couldn’t of done a hundred different things in the mean time while he’s singing Taylor Swift at the top of his lungs. I won’t knock the artwork but the professionalism here is a joke

I highly recommend!!I wanted a neck tattoo for a long time and finally decided to get it done so I wanted to make sure I found the best artist for what I wanted. I came across Inknation tattoo studio and never looked back. All of the artists there are amazing at what they do. I had the pleasure of having Adrian Rodriguez as my artist and he truly hit it out of the park! From beginning to end he was friendly, communicative and showed incredible attention to detail as you can see in the picture I have provided with my review! It was a seamless process. It was my first tattoo ever and Miguel was patient and very detail oriented. I immediately trusted him to get it just right. We brain stormed a few versions, and I really loved his modification of my original idea. He never made me feel silly or rushed. We tried out several placements on my wrist to get it just right. I had an incredible experience at Inknation today. From booking, to virtual consultation to walking off the elevator being greeted by Leo who was very welcoming. T then I met the talented and amazing Allen Brunn. While waiting for smaller to finish designing , I noticed the environment was friendly and welcoming. All the artists truly like eachother and would walk over to their fellow artists at work to watch and give great comments. There is no ego there only talent. Allen took his time to design and configure how my butterflies should sit on my forearm and discussed colors and my end goal. He is definitely a perfectionist making sure everything was perfect before moving on. We had chatty times and quiet times and I felt so comfortable there. I highly recommend and will be coming back with hubby and son. Thank you Allen. Leo and the InkNation team for making my tattoo come to life!

I researched the best tattoo artist and shop for realism portrait tattoo. I wanted my tattoo of my son who passed away touched up and to look more realistic. Camilo Tuero @ Ink nation exceeded my expectations and I am thrilled I drove from Virginia to NYC. Reached out to Ink Nation back in February to have my first tattoo which was a large pet memorial piece. I was paired with Allen Brunn and I am beyond grateful for the time and detail that went into this project. Allen took the start of my idea and designed an amazing piece of art centered around what once filled my heart with so much love and joy. It’s a sad part of life losing the things in life that matter the most but with the help of Allen Brunn and Ink Nation I carry my heart on my body to remember one day I’ll see them all again. I traveled from Texas to NYC to get my tattoo. I cant say enough good things about this Tattoo Studio. Ive traveled around the world and have had many tattoos from talented people but this location tops them all. Nicolas Asencios did an amazing job. He executed exactly what I wanted. I only hope they continue to expand round the US so more people can take advantage of such talented professionals like INK Nation has!

The entire experience could not be better, more comfortable or more enjoyable. The end result surpassed my expectations and ARMANDEAN is a master tattoo artist that deserves all the fame that will certainly come his way.

I worked with Andres who is an absolutely wonderful artist. The experience was great from start to finish. After booking, I had a phone consultation with the shops manager and explained in detail what I wanted. He also went over the type of ink used (which is vegan friendly). Then Andres drew up several drafts of my idea and kept editing them until I was completely happy with the design. He even accommodated a literally last minute change. The shop is very open, clean, and actually has quite a nice view of the city. Andres has a really light touch and honestly I barely felt anything for the first hour or two. Ill definitely be back for another piece. =)

The staff is very professional and friendly. They frequently offer you water, coffee, or something to drink. There is good music all day long. The facilities are very clean (including the restrooms), and you can easily tell theyre doing their job very well

Came to Ink Nation for my first tattoo project. Everything succeeded my expectations and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. Highly recommend Inknation! The atmosphere to start was very welcoming, everyone was extremely kind and helpful. Very clean and a great location in at the top floor of the building including an outdoor balcony to enjoy. I was tattooed by J Luis and as my second tattoo I was pretty nervous about how it was going to come out. He didnt speak a lot of English but they had a co-worker translate his thoughts and design to me with ease. My tattoo came out better than I had expected. His fine-line/single needle work was impeccable. HIGHLY recommend.

An amazing shop for top notch tattoos. Its a different vibe as soon as you walk in. Everyone is so nice and friendly. Andres had sent over designs before the appointment, and after waiting a few minutes to get the placement right after arrival he had started the tattoo. Andres finished the whole tattoo with great detail and precision within one session despite originally thinking it was two. The experience and healing was amazing (over a week out after writing this). Overall I would love to be back, and as I said when I left the studio I hope they can rework my arms coverup tattoo to somehow match the excellent work Andres did on my shoulder. The best tattoo studio in the whole New York! I went to so many of different tattoo places in NYC, some of them are crazy expensive (because they work with Hollywood stars) but none of them had that quality as these guys have. I did 3 of my tattoos there and I couldn’t be happier. Fine lines are soooo filigree and accurate, realism is actually mind blowing. They are real professionals at what they do. I recommend them to all my friends. Amazing place and very cool people who make quality tattoos! Guys, I’m forever your client ❤️

The studio is bright, clean, modern with a penthouse view. I got my second tattoo by Andres Makishi, my first was done by him as well. He is laser focused, fast and precise. Andres is a true artist! I was able to complete my sleeve with Topo and I have to say that this was one of the greatest experiences anyone can ask for. The time and dedication that was put into each design I don’t believe you can find anywhere else. From the moment you walk into the studio you are greeted by Leo and Juliana who guide you through the whole process. This place is the standard for sure. World Class artist is an understatement.

Getting tattooed at this shop was a terrible experience. They will be in your face filming you for their own posts without any care for your comfort. Their chairs/ tables do not accommodate anyone of a larger size. When being tattooed they approached me several times for payment interrupting my session and the artist working when I have been there several times and you are located 30 some floors above the ground, I have never had a shop be so relentless and unprofessional. Finally my artist continually took breaks to talk and look at the other artists work and he did not finish my tattoo. I paid a large set price for every appointment totalling over $5,000 and my artist not only left my tattoo unfinished but I had a nasty infection after my first visit. I have my entire body tattooed and have never had a single infection prior. They claimed it was because I used second skin which I and other tattoo artists have used countless times before

Contacted them last Friday 2/9 to have a portrait done and requested Carlos. Gave them all the info they asked for on Sunday. I hadn’t heard back so on Wednesday I sent a message. Today is 2/17 and I’ve yet to hear anything back from them. I’ll never understand businesses that ignore customers who want to give them their money. Pretty stupid thing to do in my opinion.

And because I was traveling in from out of state for my sessions it was important to me that we ran on time. Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. Was greeted right away by several members of the staff, which makes you feel comfortable and at ease. My artist, Andrés, was extremely punctual and ready for me with the sketches of my tattoo already printed and waiting. The room and the studio in general was super clean and inviting and Andrés finished my piece in less than three hours despite me being somewhat nervous about surviving it given the placement in a sensitive area. I am extremely happy with the final product and both Andrés as well as the receptionist offered instructions on aftercare of the tattoo. I would 110% come here again, and a huge thank you to the team for being so awesome.

Very high end studio. Staff is extremely friendly and the artists are phenomenal. The location is located inside a building with no signs indicating the studio is there. It is completely word of mouth and social media to find the location. Hands down one of the best tattoo shops in NYC. They are pricey but you are getting some of the best possible artistry possible that will be plaved on your body for the rest of your life.

We tried to schedule an appointment with a particular tattoo artist after doing a lot of research. We heard back and they basically wanted us to use another artist which we weren’t interested in using. After going back and forth they recommended yet another artist that wasn’t the aesthetic that we wanted. We then asked about a guest artist that we received an email about. We were told he books by the day for 2k, which was totally fine. My husband wanted to finish his sleeve with a 4x6 tattoo. They claim the piece would take 2 days which is an excessive amount of time for such a small tattoo. We didn’t want to work with them at this point and they didn’t want to work with us for questioning the 2’day minimum for a 4x6 tattoo. I didn’t appreciate the initial bait and switch and then trying to double the cost. Poorly run even though some of the artists seem extremely talented.

I have gotten two tattoos here and they both look so amazing and detailed. Zhimpa takes his time and does not rush to do it which is great. This studio has such a nice vibe to it everyone is so friendly and relaxed. I get really anxious when everyone is serious but thats not the case here, they make sure your comfortable. Lastly the studio looks amazing! They did a great job! Thank you guys!

I went to get a phoenix done on my right leg. The tattoo artist which I believe is a guest artist Topo Tattoo, spent a good amount of time with me just perfecting the final touches. I really appreciated the attention to detail to make the ink look perfect. The facility was open, nice and kept incredibly clean. Shout out to Leo for offering me some coffee. When I was ready to get tattooed, the artist took his time to place the stencil exactly where it should be, again I appreciated the attention to detail. This is my 6th tattoo, first one at this location, and in other locations it hasnt been this detailed which left one of my tattoos out of place. Def will be coming back if I decide to get another one!

I got a bad coverup done almost a year ago from another place. I did so much research to find a good artist I could trust and had experience in coverups. I found Andrès Mikishi on Instagram and I was impressed with his talent. I contacted him via email. Communication with my artist was great. The day of the tattoo I was quite nervous but as soon as I arrived everyone was friendly and helpful. After seeing the finish coverup, OMG! I was beyond happy. This tattoo meant so much to me and I couldn’t have found a better artist to trust. Thank you so much Andrès! If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. I came to Inknation and Darwin to work on a sleeve that an artist could no longer do. I had 8 sessions with them, and each time it was a pleasure to be there. Darwin and the entire staff are personable, friendly, attentive and professional. They made my visits comfortable and enjoyable. Darwin was able to utilize my vision and create a tattoo that is better than I could have even imagined. He truly is one of the best out there. His “bedside manner” allows you to be at ease and is something not always found amongst other artists. The studio itself is state of the art, clean and has all the amenities one could need. I happily watched Netflix and soccer matches during sessions, as Darwin has a flat screen Tv available for clients. There is an outdoor space with skyscraper views where you can lounge in between breaks as well. Overall, five stars isn’t enough when you pair the top quality product and experience you receive at InkNation.

Darwin’s, and his teams professionalism starts the moment that you first get in touch with them. When the tattoo is a go, they immediately schedule you for all appointments required to get the job done in advance. Their facility is amazing, all of their equipment is new and of the best quality, and their artwork, attention to detail is second to none!

Inknation Studio is awesome. They have great customer service, a beautiful studio and roster of truely talented artists. I just started my second half-sleeve tattoo project with Mr. Moreno. Ive been following his past work on his social media pages for years and he definitely lived to the hype in person. The team is made up of award winning tattoo artists and co-owners Darwin Enriquez and Zhimpa Moreno with rising star Andres Makishi. Im hoping to be a loyal customer for years.

Im in LOVE WITH MY COVER! INKNATION AND ANDRES MAKISHI worked magic. It took several emails to decide, but always polite and patient. This was a meant to be forever. I wanted a cover that would represent my little sister who passed 4 yrs ago, 7.13.2017, yesterday. Trying to chose an artist for a cover up is difficult. But, I believe in signs, after a few weeks & asking for dates for the 2nd time, we set up a date. A rose to identify her since it was one of her favorites and Andres is from 🇵🇪 Peru, ( my sister was half peruvian) with that said. Service was amazing, always checking on me, 100% clean, professional and talent, well a picture speaks a thousand words. The studio is awesome is a penthouse in time square with great view and patio seating but the best is the quality service they provide the best tattoo artist in NYC...
