I got my first tattoo here and I decided to design it myself. When I came in Adal was really enthusiastic about it and helped me finalize my design. He listened super well as to what I wanted and then did an amazing job placing the tattoo. I am super happy to have done my first tattoo here and would recommend this place to anyone else. Ive been getting tattooed from Adal at Majestic Tattoo for the last 8 or so years. I now have 4 tattoos from Adal and I am in love with each one of them. I am always getting complimented on his work and cant recommend him enough. Not only is he a super friendly and cool guy but he is an incredibly talented artist and very professional. I cant wait to return for my next tattoo.

Adal is a great artist and runs a clean shop. Hes friendly, easy to schedule with, and puts in a lot of work to make sure the customer gets what they want and will be happy with. He gives reasonable prices and accommodates adjustments during creation. Ive been there 4 times now and recommend his work.

I couldnt have had a better experience at Majestic Tattoo. First off, let me just say that it may not be in the best neighborhood BUT the shop is totally clean and comfortable and is most definitely worth the trek! Adal was so patient and talked through my tattoo design with me to make it absolutely perfect. Everything was clean and I felt totally comfortable and loved getting to chat with Adal while getting my new tattoo. I would 100% recommend getting your next tattoo here. I know Ill be back. This was my second tattoo and I couldn’t be more impressed. I brought in a carefully hand-drawn symbol that I had reservations about someone else recreating, but Adal’s warmth and professionalism immediately put me at ease.In addition to making me feel comfortable, Adal was extremely patient and helpful. He was diligent about asking questions to ensure I’d be happy with the final design, asking about size, placement, and double-checking with me at every step. He printed dozens of stencils to make sure it was exactly what I wanted, listened carefully, and offered his direct and honest opinion when I asked what he thought. He never made me feel rushed.I really don’t know if I’ll ever get another tattoo, but if I do, Majestic is definitely my spot!

I was extremely nervous about getting work done over a scar but Adal patiently addressed my concerns, gave me honest feedback, and made me feel comfortable every step along the way. I just got my lip tatted and he was so nice to my friends and I and let us all sit down and made us feel very comfortable. Since I am a human biology major he knew the complex nature of tattoos and we really bonded. Being my first tattoo I was extremely anxious and he helped calm my nerves. He accommodated any requests I had, which made it tolerable and an amazing journey. The comment below was rude and incorrect because he is such a nice guy and was super professional. I highly recommend going and we will all be coming back!

I found Adal through a friend and he’s amazing! I had my heart set on a tattoo but was lost regarding detail/size. But Adal was so accommodating, helpful and un-phased by my ambiguity. I cannot speak highly enough about Adal and my experiences throughout my tattoo history with him. I met Adal six years ago when I was living in NYC. He tattooed me for the first time shortly before I moved to Boston for graduate school. I never considered getting a new artist after moving. I regularly travel back to NYC for tattoos. Because he is that good.You can see his artistic skills for yourself by looking up his catalog, so I dont think I need to elaborate on that. What I want to emphasize is something less tangible, that you cant see from looking at his art, but that I have learned through my experiences with him. Adal isnt simply skilled at placing the art on you - He also has an uncanny ability to figure out precisely what it is that you are looking for. A lot of artists will try to project their vision into your piece. Adal helps you realize your vision. And he does an exceptional job of it. His design will feel like your design.I emphatically recommend Adal. He is spectacular.

Adal is the man! this was the 4th piece Ive had done and never before had I felt so comfortable with an artist. he helped bring my vision to life, was accommodating of my schedule and is overall just a fantastic bloke. great pricing and better banter- was the most fun twelve hours Ive had in the chair.

While Adal was a great guy and super easy to get along with, I am very disappointed with my tattoo.It was a design that I had wanted for years and I decided to wait until I visited New York (from Australia) to get it, as it was of the Wonder Wheel from Coney Island.The job was rushed (he had to pick up his kids) the linework & detail is very poor (all he had to do was trace the silhouette in black) and a heap of colour fell out once healed. I am now looking at spending the original price AGAIN to have it fixed.Would never go back and DO NOT recommend.

Walked in to ask a price estimate for the verse I knew I wanted as a tattoo. Adal (I suppose) gave me a condescending smirk when I showed it to him. After asking whats funny, he said the ending of the verse couldnt fit the size I wanted. I was cool with his proposal. He said I should come back tomorrow at 4 pm. I come back at the agreed time and it turns out hes doing a touch up of someones tattoo. Asks me to come back next day at 1pm. I show up at that time and the shop is closed. Adal, if you didnt want to do the tattoo you could have musterd the courage to say so. No need to waste anyones time here. And if thats the way you conduct your business, hey good luck to you! Ill take my $$$ elsewhere

This shop is on Time Outs top 10 list of tattoo shops in New York and for good reason. I got tattooed by the very talented Adriana and I am extremely happy with my new ink. This shop is what one would call a hidden gem in the truest sense. If youre serious about getting the best on you, this place is it!

My experience was terrific. The environment was professionally maintained but the appointment felt casual and relaxed. Its like going to visit a friend that youre also paying to give you a tattoo.

I got an inner lip tattoo from this place and the tattoo artist was so drugged up and high that he gave me such a bad experience being my first time in a tattoo shop, he literally botched my entire tattoo and inked me backwards when I clearly provided him with a photo reference but he was like on Xanax or some sort of suppressant and wasn’t coherent at all and now it’s a permanent part of my body luckily in a concealed area and this cr*ckhead refuses to give me a refund
