GREAT WORK IS DONE HERE. I was experiencing some twitching while the work was getting done and Hans reassured me it’s fine and absolutely finessed my Gear 5 Luffy tattoo.

This was my first time getting a tattoo by Hans & the experience was amazing. He made me feel comfortable & he consulted with me about the position & sizing. Everything came out perfect, I am in love with my tattoo. I am definitely coming back again!

They communicated well and were very professional as I set my appointment, You’re given a price outright while you’re requesting your appointment as well, so there are no surprises and you know what to expect. Their prices are extremely fair as well for the quality of work they provide. It is cash only once you’re in person but you are given the instructions as you place your appointment.The shop is clean, aesthetically pleasing and the precautions taking as a response to the pandemic made me feel secure in getting my tattoo done. It was my first time at this shop and will definitely be returning whenever I decide to get my next tattoo.I was tattooed by Emi. I came in with an idea that I figured would either not work at all or be too expensive to make a reality (I was adding on to an old tattoo) Emi was patient and creative—she made my rough design work perfectly. She was very professional; she was also detailed and clean with her design. I had come with my sister and she tattooed us both, she made sure to thoroughly clean her station between our turns. Needless to say, we’re extremely happy with our tattoos.

Made a last minute choice to get a tattoo and they were able to get me in luckily! Recommend using WhatsApp (link on their website) to communicate with them directly. I was looking for a fine-line/detailed tattoo style and looked at their instagram for their previous work and felt it was a good fit. I worked with Hans, very professional and nice guy and loved the way my tattoo turned out!

Very satisfied with the service at Picasso Tattoos, especially since this was my very first tattoo! LOVED my tattoo artist, Hans. I was able to communicate with him about what I wanted and he killed it beyond my expectations! Hans guided me through the process from start to finish. He made me feel comfortable on the chair, especially because of the location of the tattoo itself, and held great conversation, making my first experience really positive! Hans was referred to me by a relative and lived up to his reputation during my session! The tattoo studio is beyond gorgeous and very sanitary (location is in the heart of midtown which is a plus). I am in love with my tattoo at it’s healing process and I cannot wait to see it completely healed! 5 stars and highly recommend Hans as a tattoo artist, especially if it’s your first tattoo because of how amazing his service was! It was hard to find for me because I didn’t know where to take the elevator… but I asked some help from someone and then before I knew it I was in the studio.I had an appointment with Hans and although English isn’t his first language, I thought he did great. He started designing the tattoo with me and we were adjusting it till I was happy with the design, he was really helpful and made sure I was sure before we started.Before I knew it both tattoos were done and I’m so so very happy with both.I would definitely recommend going! And in my opinion the price/quality is more than fair. You can easily get in contact with them through WhatsApp, which is really nice especially when you are from a different country like me.Again, muchas gracias 🙏🏼

Just a bunch of cowards.When I came to my appointment, no one was there. After waiting 15 mins, I contacted Picasso. They said I had no appointment since I didnt make a deposit although they never even bothered to tell me I had to make one (no message, no email). I came from Europe in hope to tattoo myself in NYC, all my hopes down the drain. They told me I could reschedule for another day but such unprofessional people dont deserve their job.Disappointing, unprofessional, would not recommend.

It was my first time at the studio and Shakira made it very easy to feel comfortable. My last tattoo was 3 years ago, and not only did she work with me step by step with my tattoo choices, but she also explained everything she did and made me feel so much at ease. Hans did an amazing job on my fine line tattoo! I sent a picture of what I wanted and he replicated it exactly. This was my first tattoo and I got it in a place that I’d heard was painful (ankle), but Hans made the experience very comfortable and pleasant. I would highly recommend for any minimalist or fine line tattoos!

I’ve been tattooed here twice within the last four months and I cannot say enough good things about this shop. The shop is so clean, the work from all of the artists is beautiful, and they make you feel comfortable. Emi has tattooed me both times, and she’s absolutely incredible. Her work is so beautiful. I can’t wait to come back for more!The only thing I will say is that you should expect to wait past your appointment time. I’ve had to wait 30-40mins past my scheduled time, but it really didn’t bother me.

Went here last month to get a small tattoo done. The place is great. Ample waiting area/space. Mini fridge with complimentary drinks (mainly Gatorade, hydration!) clean atmosphere.I got my tattoo done by Emi.She was great. I didn’t feel a thing and it was on my inner wrist. Their prices are on the high side. But that’s expected of good tattoo shops. My tattoo was $150

I have gotten 2 tattoos done at Picasso now and I am always blown away and leave absolutely in love my pieces. Emi and Ana are both so talented and patient with every design and idea I have had thus far and worked to design them to my dreams and visions. Unlike many tattoo studios in NYC Picasso charges appropriately for each piece and does not overprice for a small word or tiny amount of skin and does realism and minimalism with extraordinary talent. The studio is so inviting and professional and everyone is so kind. An absolutely amazing experience and is my designated tattoo studio for everything ink.

I got a small detailed tattoo of my dog who I was unfortunately rehoming that same day, and I cried when I saw the finished piece. Emi really took her time to make it look EXACTLY like him. Experience started by texting what I wanted to the owner of the store, who was very rude and wouldnt let me see the design Id asked for. The tattoo I got was five numbers, each about half an inch tall, and they were slanted! Before getting the tattoo Id asked the artist if it was slanted, and shed told me no, however they obviously are. The tattoo cost me $165. When I called the store to ask what I could do (didnt ask for a refund, didnt insult them) all they said was that it was my fault since I let them tattoo it on me that way. I pointed out that I was unsure about it being crooked (I am not a big tattoo guy) and that the artist had reassured me it wasnt, but they didnt care and spoke to me rudely. Theres cheaper places in the city that do better work, I highly recommend checking them out.

The professionalism/transparency put into the process for booking an appointment is much appreciated. Its an easy process and Im glad pandemic-related procedures are also in place.

The shop is very clean and organized. Its a big shop and there is ample space.When you get tattooed by Weezy (owner) you will have many people ask you whos your tattoo artist. Theyll be amazed by the quality and start ask about the artist, until you tell them about the price. However, you get what you pay for and the quality is worth every dollar.The only thing you should be aware of if getting tatted by Weezy is that you should expect to be there for the whole day. Theyll tell you that you that your appointment is at 12PM but Weezy would walk in the shop around 2PM and start working on you around 3 or 4PM.Ive been tatted twice by Weezy and I am extremely proud to show my tattoos. I will definitely return for more.

I went in for a simple Russian red lettering tattoo which came out great. The place is new and clean.Three stars for the following reason:Is a cash only place and I clients should be let know before hand or get an ATM to avoid all the zelle issues. Manager or boss said in Spanish if I dont have cash and didnt even direct the comment to me unfortunately for him in Im fluent in multiple languages.Keep up the good work y que Dios lo bendiga.

Making an appointment quickly and easily, the contact person is super friendly. Hans did a very good job, I love it, very professional his Instagram is @tattobyhans.

I highly recommend the place if you are looking to get a tattoo, I loved the incredibly clean place, they have great hygiene and the tattoo artists are incredibly talented, I had some reference designs and they made many recommendations that made my tattoos look much better, the service was pleasant. I didnt find anything negative to comment, everything was perfect!!
