Banter by Piercing Pagoda

I do not recommend buying any of the dainty gold necklaces from Banter. I was a customer when they used to be Piercing Pagoda and almost 10 years ago my mom passed down a real gold charm but we got a gold plated necklace for it from Piercing Pagoda. Long story short Ive had to replace (well...keep buying) the gold necklace over the years. The longest a replacement has lasted is about 5 months max. I would even try other styles of dainty gold chains from Banter/Piercing Pagoda and still they all broke. I went to a jeweler to get the most recent chain fixed and that chain just ended up breaking in a new place. All in all, ive wasted so much money here and will be looking for a new place to buy my dainty gold chains.Oh, and Ive even gotten the warranty a couple of times but the warranty is a joke...see other reviews.

The lady who pierced my daughters ears was so nice. But the earrings only lasted 2 months before one fell out and theres nothing pagoda can do. What is the point of buying protection when you cant get anything replaced.

A girl with braids at the kiosk told me I was required to give her my first and last name to make a purchase. When I declined she refused to sell me the earrings. I had to ask the assistant manager to ring me up. The girl then gives the manager two random earrings to ring up and I had to do an official refund. I would not recommend purchasing from them. If you hate your job, get a new one.

Ashley D. Was extremely knowledgeable and helpful! I highly recommend you shop with her! After another associate at a different counter turned me away, after not acknowledging me for about 10 minutes, I walk around the corner and Ashley D. was a breath of fresh air.

I took my 6 month old baby on Saturday, October 8th to get her ears pierced. I had done a lot of research and decided to go here. There was just one lady at the counter when we arrived and there were at least 7 customers waiting for her attention. She was pleasant and didn’t seem overwhelmed. She smiled and greeted us when we walked up and told us she would be right with us. She was very gentle with my baby which I appreciated. She marked the spots before piercing and got my approval on where to place the earrings. She also advised us on how to keep the piercing clean and offered us a 2nd pair at a discount. It’s been 2 months since she got her ears pierced and no reactions to the jewelry. I believe they are 14k gold, also she lost a hook of one ear and they replaced it free of charge. I would definitely recommend Piercing by Pagoda. They are excellent and good with babies as well as pleasant.

Crystal and Nicole were very professional and very helpful, they were so good piercing my childs ears he didnt even cry or even flinch. They were very knowledgeable and gave us their full attention because of them I will be coming back for all my jewelry and piercing needs.

Experience of getting ears pierced was great. Advice to not spin was terrible. After 10 weeks daughter took her starters out and holes immediately closed up. Stick with old school- spin the earrings.

I called and the lady sound really young. I asked her a couple questions and some she didnt not know the answer. I took my baby girl to a different one in the Christiana Mall and there was two young lady there they were so helpful and both young ladies pierce my daughters ears and I was very satisfied.

The workers act like you aren’t there. On their phones the entire time. Slow, awful. Literally the worst customer service imaginable.

I’ve recently gotten 3 more piercings and I only like Saddie to do them. She always makes sure I’m comfortable and relaxed.

I got my earlobes pierced by Nicole. She was knowledgeable, nice and made the whole process smooth and as pain-free as possible..

The lady was nice, however I won’t be making the mistake of getting my ear pierced at a mall again. My ear just wouldn’t heal properly after getting it pierced

I shirley wright brought two packs of earring gold backs and they fade in less than one week and broke the back of my ears and neck out I will never buy anything else for them again.

This is not a review of the staff but if the quality of product. End of July I bought children’s earrings one hoop and one stud with stone. I also bought an ankle bracelet; hoop earrings, and a bracelet. All 14k gold with the exception of the ankle bracelet which they did not sell in 14. Three weeks later the stud fell out of one of the earrings. One month later the ankle bracelet popped . I mention these first because I did get the warranty on these things. Second week of September the bracelet snaps clean off, and not in the normal clasp area, but in the metal link built in to the bracelet that is basically the integrity of holding the bracelet together. Today the hoop earrings bent and snapped in pieces while I was trying to close the clasp from them being too thin. Between 1000-1200 dollars in Jewelry basically just garbage because I didn’t get the protection plan on things that shouldn’t have been so dainty to break when barely using it. Do not buy your jewelry here, it’s basically overpriced costume jewelry. Spend the extra few hundred dollars and go to Kay or somewhere else so you’re not out of money and jewelry like me.
