Bad Intentionz Tattoo & Piercings Studio

So I randomly decided to get a tattoo at 8 pm and looked at potential spots to try, Bad Intentionz tattoo & piercings studio popped up and I was not left disappointed. Not only did I come in last minute and they were so willing to see me, but they genuinely wanted me to have a pleasurable experience, and it showed based on how they treated me. I even was able to get a small faded finger tat touched up. All in all my experience was 10/10 and I would definitely comeback, especially for those spontaneous late night tat session. Thank you sko for giving me a piece that means so much, I will cherish it for life

3 of us walked in on whim last night 1 getting a birthday tattoo and the other 2 getting celebratory piercings. Cisco did our piercings and I dont know the name of the guy who did the tattoo but everyone from the time we walked in to the time we walked out was so pleasant and fun. Thank you for contributing to our special night!

I got tattoed and pierced in the store at the begging of the month. My tattoos healed fine, but the artist was very unhappy before the process started because I asked to adjust the placement. I just wanted my tattoos to look the way I wanted, since it is something that I will have with me forever. The trouble came when the next day I went in to get my helix and crouch pierced. He didn’t give me enough time to look at it well and used very bad and tight jewelry that didn’t let room for the piercing to heal, so it got infected. I went in yesterday and a different artist got it cleaned and removed all the infection (thank you Jonathan). He let me know that not only the jewelry was responsible for the infection, but the placement of the crouch piercing was in the wrong area. The piercings are very painful and I will be going back soon to get them taken out and cleaned again.

Rose at the reception area was great. Jonathan the tattoo artist was very professional and did a great job. I will be returning in the next couple of weeks for another tatt here.

This place is great!! I went and got my second set of earrings in with Sko and he was phenomenal!! He was so helpful and kind that it made the process very smooth with minimal pain. I had such a good experience that I went back and got two tattoos with him. I highly recommend the shop, everyone is very nice and charismatic and Sko is nothing but incredible, definitely check him out!

Came in for just a nose piercing and walked out with a coverup of a tattoo. Titos was amazing. He picked the perfect coverup for my piece. Definitely will be back again

My tattoo is horrendous.I went in because I had gotten a tattoo of my late mother’s handwriting that had faded significantly. I told the artist that I wanted to retrace it and make sure the handwriting matched exactly, and looked thin and dainty as the original.The artist used a purple marker to trace over the existing tattoo, which created very thick purple lines and tattooed over it. We went back and forth with me giving feedback on all the ways in which it wasn’t matching. He literally complained “did you give this much trouble to the other guy?”I thought the tattoo looked good enough at the shop cause I was looking at it with the purple marker over it. However, when I went home and showered (after waiting the one hour), the purple mostly faded and I could see how wrong the tattoo was. So many of the tracings/shapes of the letters are WAY off from the original. And instead of looking thin and dainty, it looks super chunky. You can even see the underlying M in Mamita from the original tattoo, because the artist didn’t trace over it properly.Overall, it was a horrendous experience with an atrocious result. I have no choice but to get this monstrosity removed - and I’m forced to look at it for the next 8-16 weeks until I can get that done.Picture 1 is the original tattoo on top and the new one on the bottomPicture 2 shows the poor tracing on the M with the old tattoo lines showing under the new ones

Cisco is dope! He’s very communicative and makes sure you’re doing alright throughout the experience. He’s also an amazing conversationalist, which makes the experience feel more comfortable. He’s very efficient and pays incredible attention to detail as well. 10/10 experience.

I have been going to this shop for 10+ years and they always have great services and do amazing jobs. While all staff is amazing, Cisco in particular is top notch. He does great work and makes you feel very comfortable. Today he did a special piece dear to my heart. As proof he is one of the best below to the left is what I asked for and to the right is how he delivered (yes I did want a lifeline instead of a date) Could not have asked for more. Highly recommend this place.

Absolutely Terrible.Me and my friend went for 4 piercings, he got his ears pierced and asked for a needle instead of a gun and the guy used the gun anyway so he had to take the earrings out instantly, waste of $50. After a few days all the piercings I got were infected and another shop advised me they were terribly placed. Waste of $200 total and caused us infections and pain having to deal with them.Edit after their reply: tried reaching out, no response.

I got my very first tattoo here and I always come back. My experience has always been pleasant and I absolutely love Cisqo-he takes pride in what he does and is very professional. I will be back soon :)

Had a wonderful experience! My best friend and I got tattoos during our vacation. Juan did an amazing job tattooing me— his line work and fill in is out of this world! When it was done, he examined his work, noticed he missed a spot and resumed. It definitely felt like he put his best effort into the piece. The environment is very relaxing and laid back. Yall! lol I went to get my ladies pierced and usually I have to sike myself out and I did. UNTIL Nena (the lovely lady the front) told me the scar tissue would cause it to hurt more cuz I’ve done it before multiple times. Smh lol o got to the back and met with Sisco who was amazing by the way. Both were very patient with me and helped. NENA is the GOAT she came back there by request and held me while I was get it done. lol I needed her so bad 🤣🤣🤣🤣 we would’ve never got to it. But THEM they did it. We had some great team work. lol and i didn’t punk out. 🙂‍↔️ THANK YOU! Prices are great, great music fast in transactions and they also give after care. I’m excited I might go back for another piercing if they gonna be there.

I truly believe they should change some customer service procedures but my overall experience was okay. I went in to get back dermal two days ago. When I went in the piercers room I quickly found out the person doing my piercings, did not speak English. I wish because of this they gave me an interpreter, so everything went more smoothly. After attempting to ask him questions, I quickly gave up and just stayed quiet throughout my procedure. After it was done, I noticed my dermals seemed a bit too low for my liking. I tried to tell the piercer this. But again, quickly gave up and thought that my judgment was wrong. After going home and trying different clothing on and looking at it, I more now, than before believed that my piercings were too low and decided I was going to go back in tomorrow. Upon my arrival, next day, after multiple employees told me they believe my judgment was correct. The last artist, told us that the piercings were in the right spot. In his words, “2 inches above the butt crack” (a generic rule when everyone has different bodies) & “because of a roll in your back”(which only tells me otherwise the piercer would have put them in another spot). I was then asked pay $60 to have them fixed. (I dont think I should have had to do so considering multiple people who work there agreed with me that the piercings were TOO LOW). I was placed again with the same artist (Still could not communicate effectively to him) & (He ended up placing them in the same spot as the “roll” perfectly). I eventually left happy.

I recently had the pleasure of getting my second tattoo at what I can confidently say is the best tattoo shop in Newark. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, instantly making me feel right at home. The staff was not only incredibly helpful but also highly skilled in their craft. Their prices were fair, and the quality of their work is worth every penny. They take immense pride in their work, and it clearly showed in the final result. I left the shop with a tattoo that exceeded my expectations, and Im already looking forward to my next visit. Completely Recommend!!

I did a walk in on easter and got my helix pierced on each ear. Piercer was really gentle - didn’t add excess force on the needle. I felt faint and nauseous after my first ear was done and the piercer offered me water and chocolate. They did not rush me to start piercing my second ear or rush me out of the chair when I was done - made sure I was okay before anything else. Clean, Calm, & Nice - no wait time.

Amazing and so professional. Staff inside are very welcoming and down to earth people. Came in twice 5 minutes before closing and they still let me sit down for my snake bites and septum piercing during the Christmas Holidays!! I’ve been tattooed by both Sko and Steve and they were absolutely fantastic; very patience and gave good advice/suggestions about the tattoo! I absolutely adore one of them, but am disappointed with the results of the other.Initially, I thought I had just gotten bruising around the tattoo and that it would eventually go away. However, after consulting with my doctor, it was confirmed to be a blowout. Hoping to address the issue, I reached out to Bad Intentionz and we had a few initial communications. But, when I sent a picture of the tattoo in question, the communication abruptly stopped.Despite my efforts to follow up via email, I never received a response. This lack of communication has left me feeling disappointed and somewhat frustrated, as I had hoped for better customer service, especially considering the permanent nature of their work.

Extremely friendly and accommodating! I came here for my ear piercings a few months ago and no issues. I brought my sister today for hers and had a great experience. My sister and I came right as they were closing and the gentlemen was beyond accommodating and patient, and I appreciated his thoroughness in talking her through the process. 10/10 fr Sko somehow made getting my nipples, bellybutton ad eyebrow all pierced in like a 5-10 minute period not only somehow painless but an overall enjoyable experience. Cool, calm and collected is the ideal vibe of the person doing your piercings imo so he killed it. Not to mention the piercings are all perfect.

I just had a piercing done 2 days ago and I was definitely scared, but the staff made me feel really comfortable. My niece and I both came here together to get my nieces first piercing and because I promised her that I would get the same piercing as her with her we had Sisco assist us and he was so cool gentle and fast. As for my nieces first piercing it went so smooth and fast that she was already thinking about getting another one. He was great definitely recommend and would go to him for another piercing.

Had a piercing done here. The young lady explained alot. The gentleman doing the piercing not very informative on the directions b4 procedure. Questionable about a male doing women undressed piercings without another female present. I felt a bit uncomfortable. It was over quickly and I healed nice.

Cisco to the rescue! Took my nose piercing out and within mins my piercing of 3 years! internally closed on me. He did my piercing within seconds. I felt some pressure, but it went away quickly! We need more artists like him ! The receptionist Chinkie also provided comfort prior heading to the room. Thank you both, definitely gained a client.

Very great experience, I came in today to get my nose pierced. I’m not 18 yet so my mother came with me as she paid for me to get this! the process was clean and quick, very little pain and even now it doesn’t feel bad at all! Cisco did my piercing and I certainly would go back again to get future piercings and/or tattoos. Prices were great as well!

I came into the place very nervous about getting my septum piercing for my 19th bday. I hated needles cause they make me feel so uncomfortable but my piercing pain tolerance is pretty high. Cisco pierced me, and calmed me down by distracting me with some cool psychology facts since I told him I was a psych major, and he was absolutely very engaging and amicable! I was so satisfied with the piercing and I definitely couldn’t be happier with where I got it at. I’d love to come back again and get my industrial done there :) Thank you Cisco!!

Came here today for a septum piercing ❤ was quick and easy. Cisco did mine and was very chill. Made the whole process so easy and I felt 2/10 pain with his help. Would 100% recommend for first timers.

Highly recommend. Came from the shore because my area didn’t do the piercings I wanted (surface tragus). The piercer (Cisco) was AMAZING! He was very sweet, gentle and took his time but also took no longer than 10 minutes for 5 piercings. I was in and out. Made me and my guest feel comfortable. Very clean and sanitary. Loved the vibe I got as soon a I walked in. The receptionist was super chill and welcoming and really gave me the run down about my piercings. I went for nipple piercings and wanted to know about everything before I got them and she was super helpful. Now Cisco is whom did my piercings and let me tell you boy was he patient because I needed like a five minute break before the second piercing lol he definitely talked me through the whole thing because I was not leaving there without both piercings done!! I went to get my nose pierced earlier this week. The lady in the front was super helpful and very understanding. She made sure I was comfortable throughout my entire wait. The piercing process took less than 5 minutes. My piercer was Cisco. He was very nice and friendly as well.

Great and fast service from staff. I brought my daughter here for an industrial ear piercing. Our appt. was for 12pm got there about 5 minutes early and was out of there in 15 min not even. Walked in for a nose piercing, $40 and about 10 minutes later I walk out with what I wanted. $40 includes prices of H2ocean to clean your new piercing. Super friendly people, good service.EDIT- returned for a small tattoo on my finger, got exactly what I wanted. the artist did warn me that it would probably fade quicker than normal but I don’t mind.I love this shop. No nonsense, you get exactly what you’re asking for at a good price. Shop minimum is $150 for reference, so bring cash.

From the receptionist to the artist Cisco 10/10 . So pleasant,friendly and welcoming from the moment we came in to the minute we left they had us with smiles and laughing the entires time. His work was also amazing! Understood what was wanted and was very clean!!!!!!!

The guy who pierced my ear didn’t know what he was doing…barely spoke English and lied and told me he was marking my ear and then pierced it without even letting me look at the placement first…was extremely painful and not at all smooth and I pierced my rook which is already a difficult piercing to get. Did my helix with the second guy was quick and smooth but an overall bad experience. Not even the type to write reviews but this was one of those. Probably won’t go back.

The only reason they’re getting 3 stars is because the customer service was ok and the receptionist Michelle made me feel super comfortable for my first piercing. But my overall experience was a 2. I got my tongue pierced and it was crooked. I didn’t notice at first until one of my friends pointed it out. Secondly the piercing came off twice THE SAME DAY i got it. The first time I was able to put it back in with the help of Michelle but by the second time the shop was already closed so it was too late. It’s only been four days since I went and they told me I had to pay AGAIN to get it redone, mind you it fell out THE SAME DAY

I love it there. Ive gotten 2 pieces with Cisco and been extremely happy with it. The wait there is never long and the staff is super nice. Cisco does amazing work and does everything he can to make you feel comfortable. The prices are always extremely reasonable. They work with any design idea Ive brought. I came yesterday because my industrial was getting extremely infected. I had got it pierced in another parlor and they put on a bar that was way too tight. I remembered that I got my helix here and it healed beautifully so I gave it a shot. Cisco changed my bar and it literally went down almost completely gone the next day!!

Horrible experience. From their website to their appointment page to their IG page. Contacted them by phone and a very unprofessional rude female picked up asked for a deposit before she knew what I wanted once I mentioned “Sko”. Spoke to “Cisco” afterwards who took the phone from the female. Gave me his “personal number” fed into my excitement about starting my sleeve. Followed up with his request as to pics of my arm and pics of what I wanted so he can “create his own version for my view.” He stated “having this tattoo designing portal where with my pictures of arm he can create and draw the things I wanted so I can see it before the work being done.” I’m not going to like that excited me further because I thought this was unique. However I that text follow up post call went flat lined. I attempted two follow-ups post his request(yes I texted the correct number). Just disappointed because my wife and I are the type to always support and invest in local businesses especially if family owned. We will be looking elsewhere for our upcoming sleeve.

Place was really clean and staff was very nice and professional. As my first piercing, I am happy I chose to go there. The guy was very professional and cared about me and helped walked me through the process. I would totally refer Bad Intentionz to everyone I know. The price is also really good. I went to a couple shops, but nothing had beat there price. I will definitely be going back in the future.

I called to make a piercing appointment and was able to come in that day an hour later!! Tito did a great job repiercing my dermal (which I previously had done somewhere else a few years ago and naturally came out I was just letting the scar tissue heal). I love the placement and the size of the piercing. Definitely would go back.

I did my smiley piercing here and I was comfortable,it was quick,I got the $60 care package for my smiley so I could do my after care, my smiley feel comfortable and the Spary I got is really good,the smiley is healing well, no infection and I can put in different color rings already! 😇 thank you cisco! I got my lip pierced here and the guy used a bar that was way too short and didn’t leave room for swelling so now my lip basically has the jewelry embedded in it and it’s really swollen and painful. I’m going to see if he can switch the bar out to a longer one if it’s even possible since the jewelry is so in my lip.

I simply came for some jewelry to replace my previously lost piece, and I was told to sit in the waiting room, and ended up waiting for 30 minutes before I decided to leave. I dont know how something so simple became a Long and unnecessary procedure. I just wanted a sterile stud.

Customer service definitely a 10/10 just got my back dermal piercing and it was so easy going! He talked me through the whole process and even gave me tips as far as taking care of them.

I went there to get an infected piercing that was done but a different piercer and Tito removed it nicely and cleaned the infected area and gave me great advice. I’ll be back there to repierce it.
