My wife and decided to get tattoos while in Oceanside for the week. Walked into Arcade tattoo and the staff was very friendly and helpful, easy to work with.We walked in on a Saturday and ended up working with Clark Kent. My wife got one tattoo on Saturday and another one on Tuesday, both by Clark and he was amazing to work with. Listened to my wife about what she wanted and took the designs she had and did an awesome job on both of them. She loves them!I decided to get one and showed him what I had in mind and took my ideas and came up with something that I won’t ever regret.If you’re looking for a tattoo in Oceanside, Ca. Clark Kent is the one to see. You won’t be disappointed.

I got a tattoo today here at the Arcade. It was a great experience. Everyone was super friendly and professional. The shop is really nice and clean. It was a really great experience. Chris was my artist and he did an incredible job. I can’t recommend this place enough.

I saw Myles. This was my 2nd tattoo and far better experience than my first. Little to no pain and he didn’t rush. I love how it came out his lines are so crisp. He honestly made it better than the photo I gave him. I paid $200 for this which I believe is a fair price.

Got my first tattoos here (done by Nate) and I’m so happy! The shop has a great atmosphere. It’s awesome when you walk in to see all the artwork on the walls. We came back for Friday the 13th (keep in mind it is crazy busy) and I’m hooked! The quality and cleanliness is exceptional!

Came here with two friends of mine who had never had tattoos done. After the amazing and careful service they both left happy with great tattoos. I decided to get a tattoo as well and initially was happy with it but once I got home realized there were a few small things that would have bugged me had I not asked for them to be changed. I called them and they had me come back immediately to do the small touch-ups that made this the perfect tattoo that I have no regrets about and I will be back again.

I didnt only take away beautiful memories from my visit to California, but also incredibly awesome tattoos! So great that I came back for more. Martin is the best tattoo artist, creative, with incredible ideas and designs. If you have your own idea of what kind of tattoo you want, he will take it to an even higher level with his creativity and make you an original skin decoration. Ive seen his paintings and other work and I have to say that if I add any more tattoos to my tattoo collection, it will only be from Martin. Highly recommend to anyone!

Im on vacation and 3 of us wanted a tattoo. I messaged them and they got back quickly. They were able to get us all in the same day. We all wanted matching tattoos. Myles was our tattoo artist and our tattoos turned out PERFECT and EXACTLY what we wanted. I would definitely recommend Myles. Thanks again Myles!!!

I keep looking at my arm in disbelief, I knew Id love my tattoo but had no idea Nate would crush it- I cannot take my eyes off of it. Artists and staff were very helpful & friendly and the shop is filled with art and history. I couldnt be happier, so glad I stopped in!

Came in on a Saturday morning and they were able to accommodate two of us getting tattooed that afternoon. Nate was amazing and I love my addition. 10/10 coming back again

Had work done with Martin. He is a really great guy, did really great work, and I can’t wait for the next piece! The shop itself has a lot of great artists and artwork there. Its really clean, great music playing, and a great place to get your next tattoo. Most of the surrounding parking is 2-hour parking, so if you need to park for longer, call the shop, and theyll recommend where to park 👍🏻

Terrible customer service. Im almost fully covered in tattoos, I understand the process a bit but Im sick of the attitudes some of these people have. I go in with my girl and her brother, they wanted small tattoos and I decided to hop on with a small spontaneous one as well. I tried to get a small tattoo on my big toe and the artist comes up and sizes it up and says ok that will be $100. I get there are minimums as an artist, time is money. But I declined and he said better for me anyways and walked away like a punk. Thats how you guys deal with customers? Even the two girls at the front, it should not be a hassle or a bad experience before the tattoo is even sketched up. Terrible attitudes. You guys work in customer service whether you like it or not👎🤦‍♂️

I walked in late and knowing it was, didnt expect a tattoo. The assistance I received was IMPECCABLE on when I should return the next day (which I did). The service was top notch both visits and Myles, who did my tattoo, was incredibly professional. I have already made an appointment to return again, and the customer service was once again next level. This is the first time Ive ever returned to a location or have had the same artist again.

I had a horrible experience there. I called before walking in because I was looking to get a minimal tattoo. One of the girls said they’d work with my budget since it would be a small tattoo. As soon as we walked in we were received with the complete opposite of what we were told a couple minutes over the phone. I ended up leaving because they were just so rude & unfriendly for no given reason. Im upset I drove out to their shop but I’ll gladly take my business else where. Horrible horrible customer service. Id leave less than a 1 star if possible for their customer service.

Full disclosure I did not get work done here. However I did I come in to inquire about some help for one of my stretched lobes that is very unhappy. The young man at the front desk was very polite but did let me know this shop doesn’t do piercings. Even so, he was very personable and gave me good advice about what kind of jewelry I should seek out. He did inform me that the sister store Maritime Tattoo does do piercings and he gave me their card.Additionally he went to the trouble of giving me a recommendation for a shop right around the corner that specializes in body piercing jewelry. He went so far as to walk out on the sidewalk with me and point and direct me to where to go. The store he mentioned was closed (he said it might be) but now I know where to go!Was definitely impressed with his motivation to help me out even though I wasn’t able to pay for a service at their shop. I should have gotten his name in order to shout him out but I forgot. Mad respect and thank you for the recommendation!

The staff was great, and my wife and I both got a tattoo. Chris and Clark both took the time to make sure that everything was the way we wanted. Highly recommend this place even if you dont want a tattoo. The art or flash is incredible.

I came as a walk in with my daughter. We had had time to kill before our flight back to Michigan. So what else is there to do besides support the amazing local artists!? Tony was super informative kind and all around a genuine artist. Eric checked us in and was super awesome as well! We definitely will be back on our next trip!!!

I had sent an email a month before coming to Oceanside to schedule an appointment and was told due to the size, I could do a walk in 7 days a week. I went in yesterday and the girl with short black curly hair was rude and seemed bothered to help us. She was not busy at all. She said they only did walk ins on the weekends. I pulled up the email and she said they tell everybody that. She then said they had no appointments for the day and did for the next day. Customer service was awful and that girl should not be the first person you meet. I will now be going to Maritine tattoo in which they had great customer service.

I just got my nose pierced on Sunday and I loved it. Jesse, I believe, was super sweet and did not sugar coat anything. Great pricing, super painless, very clean and professional. I took my best friend in today to here done too and we both love the results. Thank you so much!!(“: ❤️

One of the best tattoo shops Ive ever been to. My wife and I live in Arizona and make frequent trips to Oceanside to go here. Nate is an amazing artist and did a memorial tattoo for my wife and I the last time we were there. Everyone in the shop makes you feel welcome and weve never felt like we were a nuisance being there. That cant be said for most other tattoo shops weve been to. We will continue to come back again and again. I would rather make the 6 hour drive to go here than anywhere else weve ever been back in Arizona.

I have gone there for one little tattoo it was quick felt painless turned out great love them!! I got my nipples done by them as well, and my new ear piercing today couldn’t be more happy! I will always go to them. Recommend for tattoos or piercings.

Cool easy going vibe. People are friendly and professional. I am very happy with my piercings and especially my new tattoo. They didnt even get annoyed when I called every three days afterwards with questions. I will definitely be going back to them for my next tattoo.

I got a nostril piercing 2 years ago. The hole got irritated when I switched the stud to a ring. Embarrassed I went to Arcade and was helped by Jesse. He put my stud back in quickly, painless, and educated me about my piercing. I couldn’t manage it for work and allowed it to close. I recently had it re-pierced somewhere else🤦🏾‍♀️(spur of the moment), it was a terrible experience. Once again I had to go See Jesse, the piercing doctor, save the day. I will never go to anyone else. He has 25 years of experience and explains everything you need to know. Don’t go anywhere else. The staff is so friendly.

I recently went to Frontline Tattoo for a cover-up and was highly impressed with the work done there and due to unavailability they referred me to their sister-shop Oceanside Tattoo, which is closer to where I now live in Oceanside.Oceanside Tattoo has just recently opened and located right in the mix of the city. Parking is easily available within the blocks perimeter and there are plenty of things to do if you have a wait. To avoid waiting unnecessarily, always try to schedule an appointment ahead of time.The inside is clean and theyre still in the process of decorating, so its going to look even better.The staff is super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Theres also a computer to do tattoo design research on and the walls are filled with artwork to inspire your creativity. I also personally liked how their bathroom was immaculate and that speaks volumes to me about whats important to a business.So far Ive had work done from Myles and Clark and they are both excellent at their craft and I trust them completely to do my work. Very professional and experienced artists in here!Need a piercing or some artwork on you? I highly recommend Oceanside Tattoo and they do Walk-Ins too :)

This shop is awesome! Great atmosphere, killer music, and the staff is cool. My artist was Clark. Let me tell you what. That guy is the REAL DEAL! my sugar skulls came out flawless! Clean lines, perfect shading. That dude does unreal work. I will be seeing him again soon.

Went here with my aunt while on vaca visiting my cousin. I was immediately taken back by the tattoo museum on display. As soon as we came in we were greeted warmly. We showed them what we wanted and Jesse told us it wouldn’t be a problem. Got us hooked up for the next day. Got us the ball park we were looking to spend, and did amazing work. Myles did a fantastic job on my aunts and Zach couldn’t have given me a better tattoo. For my first one I was so pleased with the end results. These guys know their stuff and I would recommend anyone who is traveling to Oceanside and wants a tattoo, go to this place, you won’t regret it.

Second visit to Arcade and still blown away. First time in was a walk in Saturday. Martin took on my tattoo and 100% killed it. Super friendly and made sure everything was perfect. Today I dropped in and Zach took care of me. Guy at the counter was super friendly and went over everything with me top to bottom. Suggest an artist based on what I wanted and set me up with Zach. Set up a time later in the day to come back for my work. Got a text saying they were ready and headed back in. Zach went over the design and placement with me in detail. 100% hit this one out of the park. Thank you guys for taking care of me and I love my tattoo!

I went here for tattoo number I’m not sure what. As an artist myself I tend to be super picky about my artist, i could almost fall under the category of bad client to some. It took me forever to find a decent tattoo shop that didn’t charge an arm and a leg for children’s tattoos. The moment I sat down I instantly knew I was in good hands. Half decent price the work is quality and they can definitely follow the lines if you have your heart set on a design of your own. I am definitely happy with my experience.

Jesse was super professional from start to finish. I had one typical question regarding the price of the piercing I came for. Simple: you get what you pay for, from the service itself to the costumer service- between the time you walk in and the time you leave which wasnt very long considering his quick and efficient work! I’m very disappointed checking this place out for the very first time since it was going to be my very first tattoo ever. I had called to get some information about the store & the nice gentlemen told me to come-in to schedule an appointment & whatsoever so I was like “ Ok , Perfect ! “. I walk in, a the lady with short curly hair told me what I wanted so I told her…..she said for something very small they can easily take me in that day & Squeeze me before 4 o ‘clock since I had work & told her that. I was given orders to wait for a text message 20 min prior to show-time. I waited 1 1/2 hours close to 3 p.m. I walked-in asking her if I’m very close to being next & told me “ Yeah man , I still got 10 people ahead of you , I won’t get you in till 4 p.m. Sorry, You’re just gonna have to come in another day “ AS IF SHE WASN’T COOPERATING WITH ME BEFORE, TO SQUEEZE ME IN. Once she was working with the military folks as I came in , she totally switched up her attitude not wanting to schedule or anything. I had very high hopes for this place as being very Beautiful inside but I come to realize they’re more focused on the folks who get stationed down here since there the most convenient/closest spot.

This place is amazing, one of the best shops youll ever step foot into. Im blown away by the shop design and how clean everything is. Its incredible ow they blended a historical tattoo exhibit as well as a fully functional tattoo shop. Jason Betz is an amazing tattooer, just google him and you will see why this place has raised the bar in San Diego!

My mom, my sister and I each got a small piece done by John Graefe at Arcade Tattoo the other day and we had a wonderful experience. When we got there for our appointment he had a cool drawing done based on the images we had sent him. He had a great attitude throughout all three tats, has a really nice and easy going personality and was just really awesome to work with. I have a decent amount of ink already, and definitely plan on coming back to get more work from John. The shop is also a great space, impeccably clean, and really cool tattoo museum realia displayed throughout. Highly recommend!

Awesome place to go get a American traditional tattoo, staff was very helpful and the store was clean and well kept. A lot of history is in that building so make sure to stop and look around while your there.

Me and my wife just got two pieces done here. The establishment is very cool and well kept. It’s clean and the employees are knowledgeable with up to 13 rooms for getting tatted. They have reasonable prices with a $60 shop minimum. The rooms are very clean with professional equipment. The employees are kind and expedient. Last of all my favorite part is they have a very clean available restroom. I recommend coming here for whatever you need done. They also do other things like piercings if you need that done. If you have any concerns due to covid, the establishment practices covid safety rules such has minimum personnel in building, mandatory mask, and sanitizer if needed. The picture below is one of the tattoos we got here. It’s probably the most beautiful thing you’ve ever seen. Seriously though if you need some impressive work done by really great artist than this is the place to go.

This was a fantastic experience. If your military and you want a shop that gets you this is the one. I waited along time to get a tattoo and when I found the Arcade Oceanside Tattoo I reached out via email and Jason (The owner) immediatly responded via email. Since I was out of town ie took vacation inorder to get the tattoo. Jason did two phone consults and I booked my trip. Zach was the artist and he did a fantastic job. So good infact my wife scheduled one with him right after I was done. The art and results were excellent. The shop is a tribute to tattoos and really represents American history. Thank you to Jason and Zach- Ive already been recommending you to others.

Had a walk in on a Saturday for a forearm piece and Jordan blew it out of the water and had it drawn within the hour and then finished it way better than I could’ve thought of it looking. Great set of guys, cool place, great tattoo. Definitely coming back.

Came in to buy my daughter a new nose ring, paid for the service and my daughter had her nose ring changed out. As we were leaving one of the girls came out side to let me know she had accidently overcharged us. Thats very honest and admirable. Only thing I wish that was different is if the girls in the front wore masks (they do sit behind plexiglass); other than that, this place is great.

I have gotten a few tattoos here, all by different artists. On a whim, friends want to go get tattoos and came in and got put on a wait list to be seen. Everyone I interacted with at the shop has always been kind. A little pricey, but as is everything in Oceanside

I’m vacationing in Cali for a few days and decided to get a tattoo. I’m a walk in customer. Clark and the receptionist were great. My tattoo is less than an hour old. Can’t wait to take off the bandage and admire it. Thanks Arcade tattoo for my permanent souvenir from Cali. I “believe” it’s perfect! ❤️

The artist here are absolutely amazing and talented but the costumer service up front was very rude especially this one girl named ally. She wasn’t nice at all she compared pricing to cars which I didn’t understand why she made my experience not welcoming at all I hope that in the future her attitude gets fixed

Just got my nostril done by jesse, it was completely painless and took no more than just a second. ive never had such a painless piercing, so if youre considering it but worried about the pain, get jesse to do it for you. best experience ive ever had with piercings.

Me and my friends when into the shop today granted we did have to wait what seemed like forever but after getting out ink done we were extremely satisfied. Our tattoos look amazing and for what we got they were fairly priced.

Friendly and skilled staff, good atmosphere, reasonable pricing. I havent gotten a tattoo here so I cant speak anything of that (only piercings) but the pieces they have on display from their aetists certainly are impressive.

The line was way to long... waiting was like 2 to 3 hours for a 45$+tip tattoo I was hella trund off on the tattoo size for the price and the kind of tattoo that you had to pick from on Friday 13th.

Both my boyfriend and I went in here for Friday the 13th tattoos and even though we knew it was going to be a long wait they went ahead and took our names down and told us that they would call us when it was our turn. We continued to have dinner around the area and wait and we NEVER received a phone call to either one of our phones. Not to mention that we drove almost 30 minutes there and 30 minutes back for this. SUPER DISAPPOINTED. Honestly we would not have drove all the way there and waited and then drove all the way back home for nothing. Obviously this place does not know how to treat their customers or even have the consideration to give us a heads up of what was going on. This review doesnt even deserve one star because we never were even seen by an artist after waiting more than six hours to hear from them! That was SUPER UNPROFESSIONAL!!! We will not ever be going to the shop again because of how inconsiderate they treated us. There is thousands of tattoo places out there and I would DEFINITELY NOT recommend going to this place especially on Friday the 13th!

The tattoo artists are incredible here. The walls are completely packed with flash tattoo artwork spanning the past century. Even if you dont want a tattoo the museum aspect of The Arcade is worth the visit.

I drive by here all the time,I came in to get my nose pierced on a whim. The front desk service staff was attentive and I was called back by Jesse pretty quickly and he also had a light touch.I will be recommending this place to my friends.

Been here twice now, first one was a small piece and second was a pretty decent medium sized piece. Both times I walked away amazed at the work done. Definitely get Mikey if hes available.

Prices are a little steep, but their artists do some amazing work. Every time I have been here they have been packed. The staff are pretty laid back and the shop is very clean.

At first my experience with the arcade, wasn’t too well, I wasn’t totally satisfied with my tattoo, and felt as if I didn’t get my money’s worth, the owner of the place became aware of the situation and addressed me himself and ask what he could do to make it better or fix it, The arcade truly does care about their customers and will make sure you do get your money’s worth, highly recommend this place to any people around the Oceanside area!
