John Chapin and his staff work tirelessly to provide a comfortable and friendly environment and tattoo experience. The staff are kind, knowledgeable, and clearly take pride providing excellent service and work. When you walk into Smok’in Irons, someone is always there to greet you with a smile at the door. So if you want a wonderful tattoo from a shop that does fantastic work, makes you feel comfortable and at home, and has personality for MILES, I suggest you give them a call!

I went to the Tattoo Convention in Manchester, NH and wasn’t planning on getting a tattoo, but look at the different artists and their work. I ended up booking a tattoo with Courtanie from Smok’in Iron Tattoo; and was not disappointed with her. She made sure the placement of the tattoo was where I wanted and wasn’t covering my other tattoos. Before she began my tattoo, she made it a point to show me that the needles she was going to use were not expired and were sterilized. She was very pleasant and professional. I will definitely be scheduling an appointment to get my tattoo from Courtanie colored and definitely book another appointment! I got a tattoo of the pokèmon Umbreon for my husband, it’s his favorite one.

These people are so fun! The atmosphere they cultivate in their shop is so chill, Kylee is super fun to work with. She has a very light touch I didnt bleed at all, and the tattoos are on either side of my tummy so very sensitive areas. Kylee did great, definatly a great spot for amazing ink. THABK YOU KYLEE I LIVE MY SOUL EATER PIECES!!!!!

This was my first experience at Smok’in irons and I will say I am very pleased. I am happy to say that I had my tattoo done by Kylee. I will be returning for more.

I got my little ghost cat done by Kylee at the New England Tattoo expo thus weekend and I love it so much! I appreciate their attention to cleanliness and showing me that everything was wrapped and sterile prior to the tattoo. I am so happy with my ink, and Im so glad I chose this place!

Courtanie is an apprentice, but I’ve already had a better experience with her than I have with other artists. Before we began we sat down and worked on the final edits of the piece together which I’ve never really experienced with another artist. She was extremely professional and made it a comfortable and enjoyable setting. Highly recommend!

Had a great experience getting a tattoo here. Everyone was very friendly and my artist John was super helpful in explaining everything and helping me put my piece together. His work came out amazing and I would definitely recommend!

Kylee did my lavalamp and courtnaie did my fred the fish one they were amazing and nice.and showed work before and after its healed so i trusted their flash tattoos

Amazing absolutely amazing I had a cover-up done from the shop I was covering up a tattoo that was affecting me and my daughter on a very bad level and very bad man touched my daughter at a young age obviously he did the tattoo before he did that as far as We Know but I went to the shop because I lived very close by and he was absolutely amazing lines were clear and straight very nice down to earth guy very comfortable to be there so I will show you the before and after

I appreciate their attention to cleanliness and sterility, however the artist I saw went too deep on my tattoo and the area around it was red, bruised, and very sore.

Had a fantastic experience getting my first tattoo here, Steve was my artist and he did an incredible job on the piece. The owners of the shop were there as well and they were very welcoming and involved in the process, definitely a great place
