Me and my Mom went in here for our first tattoos today! Beka and Professor are amazing people and Beka did an absolutely incredible job on both of ours. She was quick, both of our tattoos took about 10 minutes each and she made it almost painless. even gave me a sucker when I almost passed out lol. Her placement and designs were perfect for us and we are OBSESSED

I absolutely loved this place. Beka was so amazing super friendly made it very comfortable and not to mention did an outstanding job. I would recommend her to anyone and for all my future tattoos I will be coming back to her. She takes into consideration the aging of tattoo and has a great artistic view and ideas. I would say she is a perfect tattoo artist.

Beka was amazing!! I actually got two tattoos from her in one go. It was my first tattoos ever and it was a completely amazing experience. She’s such a real person and I felt really comfortable with her. I loved her work- the tattoos came out better than I imagined them.I also love the father-daughter aspect of how they do their business. It was a cool environment. I’m already planning my next tattoo I’ll be getting there!

Family ran business. Its clean. The prices are the best around. They are honest when it comes to tattoos. Very helpful and they take as much time is needed to answer questions to make sure you get exactly what you want.

Becca is amazing and very talented. Give her an idea and she will always make it beautiful. I recommend her she is the only tattoo artist I will go too. She always draws the tattoo as fast and painless as she can and my tattoos never scab up or lose their color.

The Professor did my tattoo and he was kind, funny, quick, efficient and it didn’t hurt at all! This is my 10th tattoo (first one in KS) and I’m going back for my 11th! Great energy, his daughter Beka is sweet and amazing (she’ll be doing my next tattoo!), and Franklin the shop mascot is the most amazing turtle ever! He loves attention and interacted with me - it was so cool! This is a small, family business and you can feel the love and passion for the art of tattooing. I’m so glad I went there and hope you’ll check them out as well!

Beka is fantastic! Shes done all but one of my tattoos including my tribute tattoos. She stands behind her art and she and her Dad believe in providing quality artwork and best advice for placement. If youre on the fence, you wont be disappointed.

I brought my daughter in for her first tattoo and was welcomed by The Professor, Beka, and the girl at the front desk (I’m sorry I can’t remember your name). Everyone was super friendly and very informative. The shop was clean and they were professional, I would highly recommend them. I showed Beka my tattoo that is in major need of repair and she was more than willing to fix it. We are from out of state so hopefully when I return I can get an appointment. The Professor made sure that the tattoo he was doing for my daughter was what she wanted and where she wanted it. He made sure she was sure that this was 100%. I was sad it only took a short time to do because he had some pretty cool and interesting stories to tell. If your looking to get ink visit this Father, Daughter shop and you’ll be happy you did!!

Got my first tattoo here with the professor and my second big one on my hand and arm with Beka and they were great. I was super nervous and they helped keep me calm and relaxed. Their turtle Franklin was super funny and the work they did was unbelievable. I wouldnt go anywhere else for my tattoos. I recommend them 1000%.

My wife and I were both tattooed by Beka almost 12 yrs ago. I actually have 2 pieces done by her. Both are amazing. The last one she did for me was actually involved my daughters hand print and her actually writing her name on my arm and Beka inking over it. Now here we are and my Daughter is 18 and tomorrow we are taking her in to get her first tattoo. Beka will not be able to do the work. But the Professor will be taking care of her.So happy with the work, atmosphere, and customer care from this great shop.Even after all these years. They still remember their past customers.

Wow Becca is the best!! She was able to a fix on one of my tattoos!! It looks beautiful. She was so kind and up front about what she could do because its a tat that is always visible. Very clean, wonderful customer service. Her art is wonderful. My husband got a tattoo and it turned out way better than I thought it would be. So I just made my appointment for next week. I cant wait. She really listens and understands just what Im looking for.

He didnt wear a mask because of a medical problem. if you want to get a tattoo here, make sure you know exactly what you want and how big/small you want it before going in. he doesn’t like redrawing, as it’s too much work for him, and is pretty impatient if you decide to change your mind last minute. when i showed him my initial drawing he told me that it was terrible and that i was a bad artist, telling me this multiple times throughout the whole process.the price is pretty cheap and the pain was bearable, but i wouldn’t go back for another tattoo because of the poor customer service. double check on the style of tattoo you want as well, i wanted something minimal, thin, and small, but i don’t think it quite matched his personal tattoo style.

Love, love, loved the Professor. He was so good at getting my dads signature exactly right. Explained everything as he went. His slightly grumpy attitude only adds to the ambiance. The cleanest place Ive EVER been.

Went and got my first tattoo when i was 18 Beka did it and i still love it today now 21. I have 7 going on 8 all which have been done by Beka. I will not go anywhere else. They are very nice, clean and talk to you like you are family. they also make sure through out them doing your tattoo that you are alright and still feeling good. Any problem that you dont like or want fix they will do it. I like that i feel safe there and that i can trust not only Beka but her father to take care of me and make my tattoos stand out. i would recommend highly that you just go in and talk to them and give them a chance Highly Recommend it.

I received my 1st Tattoo at this business about 2mths ago and what I can say is that my experience was extremely disappointing. When I arrived I knew I should have turned around and left due to the fact that the shop was dirty, junky and looked as though it hadnt been cleaned in months. The owner/Father barely acknowledge me when I came in his place of business. Which I found rude, as a business owner I would expect to be greeted & welcomed. The first thing the tattoo artist did was rub deodorant on my arm and then shave it. I think that was quite disgusting because Im thinking is she using that deodorant on other peoples body parts as well?The lady that was doing my tattoo had her daughter (a small child around 2 or so), running around in the back as Im getting my tattoo. Mind you the little girl is talking to me and down right interfering as Im in pain getting very first tattoo. I love kids, but that is not the place to bring your kids to work. When it was over, I was not given any written directions or tips on after care. She just said use a mild lotion and dont pick at it. This was a very disappointing experience and I will NEVER go back! Trust me find another Tattoo Shop!!n

First tat since moving to kansas. Very knowledgeable. The daughter really helped send me in the right direction for my next tat. The professor ended up doing it. it was very good work. Plan on going back this week.

Stopped into town for a quick visit and the professor was able to squeeze my friend and I in. I really enjoyed the history lesson he provided, ranging from theater life and inprov to tattoo conventions and meeting the ink Master. This man truly warmed my heart and I am already planning on my next 9 hour drive to see him. He is the best artist Ive ever worked with and I have 15 peices! #brokenfeathersunflower #coloradogirl

I got some work done a few years ago and being the naive 18 year old I was, took my buddies advice and went here. what a terrible choice that was on my part. I should have walked away when Gary turned down multiple of the designs I wanted because they werent real tattoos which is a very snide way of saying I dont have the skill. We finally settled on something easy for him and at first the work I got seemed alright but as time went on I grew more and more unhappy with the work I had gotten and ended up getting all of it covered up and reworked. Gary bragged about how no other shop uses as small of needles as they do but it doesnt really amount to much when you cant even tattoo a line without it being jagged and very unclean. Their prices are outlandish for the quality that they perform, I was charged 150 an hour for work that had to be covered up. Luckily I friend of mine recommended Tyler moody at surreal tattoos and saved my arm from all the embarrassing remarks I would get about the job gary did, and Tyler charged by the session not per hour. So it literally costs less to go to much more professional and skilled artists in the area, but if you want a nice jagged prison style tattoo for 10x what its worth then this is the shop for you.

I absolutely love this place. I recommend to all my friends to come here. Ill be calling real soon because I need more ink.

My wife and I got our tattoos done a couple years ago. Absolutely love Beka. My wife was nervous about getting her first tattoo, but Beka made her feel so comfortable. I will be coming back soon to get more tattoos done by Beka!!

Beka and her father are awesome I love just to go by and see how they are Beka has done the last 7 tats in a year i love them all This father daughter team are very special loving kind and awesome people and artist I have quite a few tats and when my artist passed on to his place in heaven I met Beka and my father had a tat he wanted on me and he hates tats he came into the shop he is 83 and he loves the tat shop now . My niece goes to her too. I cant say enough about this majestic place of artistry love and honor to all they encounter..... This place is the best! I had my first tattoo done there in 2007 and then had 3 more done in 2009. Every experience has been absolutely stellar. I wouldnt go anywhere else.

Beka did my second tattoo about 2 months ago. She did a good job with the line work but the shading came out looking pretty poor. Looks more like something you would get from some random dude doing tattoos out of his apartment than from a professional shop. Probably wont be going back to them for another.

Beka was awesome and gave me exactly what I had been wanting. Bonus I walked in earlier today and she made time for me at the end of her day. Ill definitely be back and Ill be telling all of my friends to switch it up and start somewhere new to get good ink. Thank you Beka

The professor and beka are great artists. Give them a shot. They are a no b.s. shop. If it will not work they will tell you and help you with what would work. Remember, its pretty much forever so if they can help, let them. Very , very fair prices and great personalities. You cant go wrong.

I got my tattoo done by The Professor. He is one real cool guy and tries his best to make his client at home. ( I am Mexican and he put some mexican music while he was working lol.) You must have a sense of humor to understand him. The best of all is that he does great work.

Excellent place for 18 yr olds to get their first Ink when theyre broke. But will regret it. Had 3 peices done by them 2 of the 3 I had to have a real artist, Sean Gilbert, of headless hand tattoo fix and complete redo and cover. Last one i just havent gotten around to it yet. skill here is absent. Their single needle fine line or whatever they still brag about is a joke. Just look at their work.and compare it to basically any other shop in kc and it will be self explanatory.

Have two tats from em now and when one flaked off a bit during the healing I let Beka know when I saw her at a store she offered to patch it free of charge. On top of that they always have this positive attitude about them that I love.
