Went in to Opus tonight wanting a Mother/Son tattoo. Mr. Mullen looked at a picture I wanted, discussed it with me, printed stencil from photo on my phone and completed my tattoo in no time at all and did an amazing job. As a plus, they also carry H2O Ocean Foam for aftercare, that stuff is amazing!

I love this place I have been coming here for my tattoos for a good bit and I will never go anywhere else for one because I can trust them to do it right. Me and my fiance when up there to get his&her tattoos and I only showed them the picture of what we wanted and by the time we came back up there for our appointment Eric had our tattoos Drawn up and they both looked just like what we wanted I changed mine just a little because I wanted a moon in mine and my fiance was wanting the sun so Eric changed it for me and now this is what they look like they are beautiful thanks so much for always helping me with my tattoos yall are the best.

This place was amazing! They got me and my husband in within a week of messaging them and did everything we asked and were patient with us. Eric took his time and did an amazing job with both of our tattoos. They turned out beautiful and they gave us a card for after care of our tattoos to make sure they stayed perfect. We are def coming back and already looking for our next tattoo to have done at Opus Land. 10/10 recommend!!!!

Ive had five piercings done here so far (industrial, rook, conch, forward helix, and lobe) and I wouldnt go anywhere else. Ive never had a less painful experience, even for the industrial! They are great about giving care information as well.

Wonderful little establishment. Friendly staff, Quick in-and-out service. Got a nostril piercing and a small memorial tattoo. Place was very clean and presentable. The needle was light but not too light, Eric was glad to talk me through my anxieties of my first tattoo. Thanks! Looking forward to coming back for more.

Went to get a nose piercing! Very friendly staff! They advised me to get my nose ring lined up right ✅️ because I had one done elsewhere years ago and it was to far on tip of my nose . He was very patient and gentle made my experience easy ! And Im loving my 2 nose piercing 😍

Just did a helix and conch piercing on my left ear, and I felt extremely happy about how they turned out (looks evenly spaced too)! They were so sweet and welcoming, so I recommend people to come here for quick piercingsI knew my face turned red since I forgot how painful it was before, but I am glad that they made the experience not be that bad✌️

Very unsanitary experience with highly inflated prices. went in to get a replacement pair of basic steel barbells for my ear piercings. i was charged $30 for the pair - they cost $2 each online. i was offered to have them put in for free, which i could have done myself but figured i’d take advantage of given the price i paid. the jewelry had been handled by myself, the woman at the front desk (who was very nice and not at all the problem here, by the way), and presumably previous customers as they had no issue with me touching them. the piercer then proceeded, before i could say anything, to put these in my ears without any sanitation of either the jewelry or the piercing itself. his station was also visibly dirty. to top it off, i was told there was no public restroom for me to even wash my hands in after this experience. unfortunately they’re the only piercing place in oxford, and i hate to trash a local business, but this lack of basic sanitary practices could easily lead to infection among customers. i would recommend making the drive to memphis for any piercing needs.

Great staff! Went in for re piercing of my ears, no pain and quick. Thanks to Eric for the tattoo information. Looked through some of their designs and they are awesome! If youre looking for a great tattoo or just ear piercing I would recommend them.

Great customer service. They were professional. They were very friendly and helpful, which has not been the case at previous shops that I have been to in the past. The waiting lounge was clean and had a chill vibe. I got some piercings done during my visit. They were cheaper than the prices at other shops in town. This was an all around great experience. This will definitely not be my last visit with them.

I received both of my tattoos here as walk-ins and the staff is amazing, shop is clean and they make your time there very relaxing. They also offer free touch-ups if you got your tattoo done by one of their artist which is nice. I ended up getting one tattoo touched up when I got my second one done.

Got my first tattoo here. Eric does really good work and despite the few minutes of pain I was very happy with my first experience. Going back as soon as my first one heals. Just make sure to make an appointment, these guys stay busy!

Me and a friend went there last night. I wanted two piercing a nose and lip. The place was nice and quiet. Clean bathroom. Everything was nice except I’ve had piercing before and I was trying to let the guy know where I wanted them. He got a lil irritated talking about how he had been doing this for a long time. I feel like he was a little too rough. Piercings came out good tho. Everyone else was nice and try to make u feel comfortable.

Great experience every time (x3). Awesome people. Knowledgeable & professional. The shop is very clean & they obviously use all the sterile practices that are required in a tattoo shop. I trust them & wont go anywhere else.👍👍

All of my tattoos have been done here. And I have 9. The artist is great, the work is clean, not a heavy handed artist, the prices are very reasonable, and you dont have to wait 3 months to get in the door. Definitely recommend this place. Its where I send everyone I know that wants to get a tattoo or piercing.

I’ve had two piercings done there and it was so fast and so easy. I’d recommend them to anyone. I had a tongue piercing done and it wasn’t near as bad as I anticipated. Great experience!

Amazing People, Definitely will not be using anyone else but these guys! My first Tongue piercing had me almost crawling out of my skin from being so nervous and they calmed me down sooo much and really took care of me. Couldn’t ask for a more calming experience and such a clean work environment!!! I would give them 10 stars but it only lets me give 5!!! Words can’t describe how amazing this place is!!😍😍😍😍

I loved it. The employee were very nice and answered all my questions. I was in and out and the guy who pierced my nose joked around with me and made me feel comfortable then I was. I would come back there for any more most definitely!!!

Eric Warren is the best in OXFORD MS ! You will not waste your time or money going to him. Both my husband and I and also our family members have all gone to Eric. He has done many many of our tattoos. He will leave you happy with his work. We have loved each piece of ours he has done and planning to have more done already!! Dont waste your time on other tattoo shops in town because Opus Land on University Avenue is the one to go to!! ❤️

This Is an amazing shop with great deals to help you get the little tattoo you want! But they have beautiful sleeves drawn on the wall as well! We got cute little tattoos for free with donations! Yall are great people!

I would give 5 stars, but when I went to get my wedding ring tattoo in April I was told I could get a free touch up if it faded. The guys that worked there informed me that finger tattoos fade faster than in other places, how to take care of it and all that good stuff.Im a manager at a fast food place and we have a 20/20 rule we have to wash our hands every 20 mins for 20 secs. So as expected it faded faster than normal..Right now it has faded out in some spots and I have been up there at least 3 times. The first time I walked in at about 4 pm and was told to come back at 6 that night. When I came back that night they were slammed.Thats completely understandable but the other two times I went early and was just given generic excuses. Me and my husband have gotten 3 tattoos there and Nick and the tattoo artist are nice and seem like great people. I just want my much needed touch up and I would change this to 5 stars!

I made an appointment for Friday the 13th via Facebook messenger, clearly giving a photo of the tattoo I wanted, knowing it was not on their list of $31 tattoos for their Friday the 13th deal. They told me that they could do it but there might be an upcharge depending on the artist, which I told them was fine. They scheduled me for an appointment, and when I showed up they told me they would not be able to do it because they were only doing limited tattoos for their special that day. Overall, poor customer service, communication, and unprofessional manners. I should have been informed prior to making the appointment that they would not be able to accommodate me that day.

Soooo dope. i went today & got my nose pierced. & last year got a tat here. the guys are super dope & chill. tbh i will honestly probably always go here. there’s a lot of good tat/piercing places out there but most will lack good customer service & are rude. not this location!!! 10/10 recommend these guys.

Eric one of the tattoo artist is very unprofessional. After I wrote a bad review on Facebook he proceeded to inbox me personally from opus land Facebook page and curse me out. He clearly have lots of encounters with customers because we never had a altercation and I tried explaining that to him. I was looked over and never offered and paperwork to receive the piercing I wanted.

Love Eric and his work. He has done all but 2 of my tattoos and I refuse to use any other artist. GREAT work, awesome prices and even better people!!! 🤩😍💜🧡💛💚💙❤💖💕🖤

Very unprofessional we made an appointment weeks in advance and called 24 hrs before the appointment to make sure everything was set up. Then i show up and wait an hr past my appointment because the artist cant be on time. Then im told ill have to be resceduled because the artist was late and it would take to long. Then they make up excuses on why its not thier fault, and on top of it all they then act like they arent gonna refund me my deposit for an appointment they couldnt keep.

The most unprofessional experience I have ever had. I would never recommend to anyone. First off, I came in around 2:30 on a Monday and the piecer was not even there, was told to come back in 30min. Came back at 4:30 and still had to wait about 30min for him. Secondly, the piecer did not explain anything or show me the jewelry or do anything that should have been done, (I have multiple piercings and know how it should be done) now I am stuck with an embarrassing piece of jewelry for 6 weeks. Also, I had to pay before so I had no way of negotiating the price, the do not give refunds for a reason. DO NOT GO HERE. It is worth the drive to Memphis.

Just went and got my navel pierced. I have officially found my go to piercing and tattoo spot. Very friendly and straight forward and not afraid of conversation. Will definitely be a regular from now on. Dont go anywhere guys.

I got to Opus Land quite frequently. Its a great environment with great people. They do the best work!!!! Every experience I have had has been a great one. Will continue to go there.

I went there to pierce my ear and it was fast and was less painful. The staff were friendly and the place was clean but it was a little expensive.

Unfortunately, you cant use a negative rating. One star is as low as you can go. When you enter the building its so thick with cigarette smoke, it took almost an hour to get it cleared out of my lungs. The person who does the piercing reeked of cigarette smoke. He couldnt show or tell (not even from a picture in the catalog where he orders his supplies) what the jewelry looks like, telling me I would find out what it looks like after the piercing was done.So, youre getting - for me it was a nose piercing - a piece of jewelry on your face, and they expect it to be acceptable that you not know what that piece of jewelry looks like until AFTER its on your face! Thats the most absurd thing Ive ever heard.He was helpful, however. He let me know, that as a customer, spending my money for something as personal as a body piercing, if I wanted to know what the jewelry looks like before the piercing - there was a Burger King up the street, so I could get things my way.Besides the filth, smell and general lack of professionalism, the guy who does the piercing was unusually, extraordinarily rude and obnoxious. There was also a young woman there who helped yell, in case she didnt think the guy who does the piercings was being obnoxious enough, as well as a small child who was learning social skills by watching these two adults handle themselves in a despicable manner.Im not sure how this place measures up with the Health Department. I know the cigarette smoke wouldnt make the grade. Im sure these people think because theyre the only place in town that does piercings, and Oxford is a college town, they may have decent business, and they can treat potential customers any way they like. More fool them. Btw, I was the only customer there. However, possibly theyre more busy in the evenings or weekends?I have been to a high quality place before, however, so I can tell people how its supposed to be. A business is a place where you hope people - known as customers - want to come in and buy your product. Therefore, you treat them with respect, try to have the best product possible so theyll come to you and not somewhere else. You might not have enough business to want to stock several different types of jewelry - such as several different ones for nose piercings, but you do have some kind of showcase showing what choices you have for different piercings. Thats basic!! Absolutely basic. You would never, in anyones wildest dreams, tell a customer that theyll find out what their jewelry looks like *after* its placed on their body. And then act like the customer is being unreasonable when she looks at you like you have three heads.Then, once the customer picks out the jewelry that matches the quality and look they want - which would also correlate with how much that piercing would cost, of course, you should be in a clean environment where the person who does the piercing uses sterile technique. Then they give you information on how to take care of the piercing until the site heals.That person should also be clean and not stink. Opus Land doesnt even meet that simple criteria, unfortunately.I did let him know that I was not happy and was going to leave a negative review. He seemed to be under the misconception that letting him know this was an offense he could have me arrested for, and charged out the front door into the public, yelling for his partners to call the police. For his final act, he said he would call all the tattoo parlors in the area of Southaven, etc to make sure no one would sell me a nose piercing.Wow - just wow! If anyone had told me a legitimate business would act this way, I would think they were crazy. Until today when I experienced it myself.Delete review

On there message machine it said they were opening at 12pm then on there door it said 1pm so I was there from 11:45 till 1:15 no one so I went to illusion Ink I love the people who works in illusions

Very disappointed with my helix piercings. They were pierced with curved earrings instead of straight ones and pierced at very bad angles. Had to get the earrings replaced with straight ones at a different shop. Will not be returning.

I am extremely pleased with both of the tattoos I have gotten here so far. The guys are so talented and kind, and the tatttoos are reasonably priced. I will definitely be back!

Great place, I have got many tattoos, by far they are the best, I use to travel alot, so from Florida to Utah, Ive gotten tatts just about every where I visited and this shop was the best, light handed, I actually fell asleep on one visit as the work was going on, lol, I was snoring ,it had been a long week, everyone that reads this thats wants a tattoo artist that will make you feel comfortable and does quality work, and is in Oxford, Mississippi this is the place you want to get it done,
