Oxford Tattoo

Very pleasant environment. Cody was the best. My dog passed away today and Cody done his paw print to perfection. Thanks Cody for the best tattoo ever and also taking your time with me in-between sniffles. And for that I thank you. I will be going back

I got my elbow done with Cody and he free handed it and gave me EXACTLY what I wanted! He was super nice and light handed! I’ve traveled most of the east coast and got a tat in every state but Cody tops all of them!

Went there yesterday and got a new piece, Doug was my artist he was amazing. He drew up an original design based on the reference pictures that I brought in. He is also funny as hell, lol 😆I have went back and got more work done by Cody and Will as well as Doug. They are all amazing artists, and I am so pleased with the creativity of each artist and the pieces that I got!!!

I wanted to honor my brother who passed away April 1st. Will did an amazing job. I couldn’t be more grateful for the awesome work he did.

The BEST tattoo shop I’ve ever been to the 30 years I’ve been on this planet. Being a woman, it’s super intimidating going into tattoo shops. But I was greeted by the friendliest people ever. Even made friends!Cody did my studio ghibli sleeve over a few sessions. Every session was awesome, the conversation was great, the atmosphere was great, music was amazing!This shop is welcoming and comfortable and CLEAN!Everyone here is cool as heck and I would recommend this shop to everyone I know.This is the only place for me and I’ll always come back to OTC!

I got my tattoo today. Doug did such a great job. I showed him a picture and he gave me the best rendition for which I could have asked. He asked me if I wanted Black and White or Color and I said, Youre the artist, its your call. He did not disappoint! Ill definitely be back!

Cody did an amazing job on my first tattoo! He took an image I had of my dad, and made it into something I will cherish forever. Cody is a very talented artist, and I would definitely use them again for other tattoos.Everyone at the shop is great too! They’re nice, friendly, and very professional. I always enjoy talking to them. I never thought I would get a tattoo, but I’m so thankful I got my first one with them.

Cody did my tatoo and I absolutely love it! It was a coverup and you can not tell anything was under there. Great price and he got me in and out quick! I will cherish this tatoo forever! Thanks Doug will DEFINITELY be back!

Got my first tattoo here and the work they did was excellent. I came as a walk in, and they got to me in a timely manner and talking with the artist for what I wanted was very nice, and he was able to come up with a design that was exactly as I had in my head. While I was getting the tattoo, they made sure I was doing alright and did a great job of making sure I felt comfortable the whole time.

Great location. Clean, professional shop. Tons of flash to choose from or bring in a custom idea. Doug was awesome to work with.

My friend and i stopped in for small arm tattoos each. they weren’t taking walk ins but since what we wanted was small they were able to do it and got us all finished in about 20 minutes. everyone was so nice and we are obsessed with our tattoos!! will definitely be back and highly recommend!

Drove 2 hours to get tattooed. They changed the idea I had which I was fine with. We met in the middle with what I wanted done. Left to get food since they had a tattoo in front of me for me to come back and wait to be told he wanted to do what he wanted in the beginning. I wouldn’t have wasted each other’s time if that were the case. I was told with everything I wanted I would need to make an appointment which again I was fine with. Didn’t offer an appointment when I said I didn’t want to just get a traditional rose. Kinda weird but whatever lol

Ive had all my tattoos done here. Very solid work. Just realized Ive gone here so many times and never wrote a review. I wouldnt send anyone I know anywhere else in oxford. This is *the* place to go if you want good design, good color, good line work, etc.

Doug and Cody are always great. They love what they do and are the best in the business.

I have over a dozen tattoos from Doug. He does good work and is stylistically flexible. I have had no issues with Oxford Tattoo until this December. We had planned a tattoo for over 6 months, even confirmed it and the price a couple of days before I flew down from Portland, OR. Mind you it was a holiday week; however, he confirmed he’d be available. He completely ghosted me and even blocked me. I flew back to Portland and got the tattoo from a local, like I should have done initially. Basically, just be wary when you book him. You’ll get a great, long-lasting tattoo- if he doesn’t ghost you.

My daughter and I both came in for tattoos. They turned out Amazing. This place is clean, the artists are very talented and you wont be disappointed. They are real reasonable compared to other states prices. I have been in one other time and plan on going back.

Nice shop, great artist. The owner Doug Hollis is cool as hell. Well worth the hour drive I make from Tennessee. This was my first of many sessions with Doug.

Wonderful! Fantastic quality! My husband and I both got tattoos the night we went. Lots of places make you feel like you’re bothering them when you just walk in, but we definitely never felt like that here!

These guys really know what they are doing. You dont need to drive to Memphis to get a good tattoo, because these guys are the best in North Mississippi and comparable to top shops anywhere. They not only know how to work their craft, but they are professional. Ive personally seen them talk people out of tattoos or flat out refuse tattoos on people that didnt know what they were getting into. Hand, neck, and face tattoos can seriously affect job opportunities, and Oxford Tattoo wont do them unless you can convince them that you are in a situation where one would not be detrimental to you. They arent one of those shops that will take your money regardless of the fact that they know you will regret it later. I assume that no-nonsense pushback is a main reason they have gotten some bad online reviews, because it cant be the quality of their art. Doug and Cody are both incredible, efficient, and genuinely excited about their work. Whether its a cover up, touch up, color, greyscale, flash, or original design, I can not recommend Oxford Tattoo enough. I have personally sat in their shop for 5 different pieces, and I will be continuing to go to them for all my work in the foreseeable future.

Went for a walk in and was told $100 minimum so I asked how much a golf ball sized tattoo would be on my upper arm (no detail just standard numbers in black ink) and was told $120 so I left and got the tattoo in Southaven for $75. Want too much for too little!

A lot of people told me that there arent any tattoo shops worth going to in Oxford. I took a chance after seeing their work for myself and Im not disappointed! Ill definitely be coming back!

I got 2 tattoos here and one looked very good but the other was very spotted. The tattoos should have took at least 30 minutes each not 10 minutes, it was very rushed.

Average tattoo artist. Slim pickings in Mississippi but if you want simple work this would be ok.

Not sure whats changed them over the years . They want you to drive to their place and pay four dollars just to make an appointment. And weve made three phone calls just to get the last tatoo fixed .

Had a couple tattoos in Oxford and OTC has no competition whatsoever. Their customer manner and work is top-notch.
