American Pride Tattoos Oxford

I had my ear pierced five hours away a year ago and recently wanted to change my earring but couldnt do it at home. I drove to American Pride Tattoos Oxford with my old earring partially out and asked for help. The guy who assisted me was incredibly nice. He sold me a titanium hoop and helped me put it in at no extra charge. He wore gloves and made sure everything was cleaned up properly. I really appreciated the excellent service and professionalism. I would definitely come here again if I decide to get another piercing!

I recently beat cancer and wanted to get a cancer ribbon on my middle finger to celebrate. It was a spur of the moment decision and found this place because it had good reviews and I happened to be in the area. It seemed clean and nice and was able to get right in even as they were getting ready to close early. Austin told me I would need a touch up in a month which was included in the price I paid which was more than I was quoted over the phone. I tried twice to get in and both times he offered to schedule something over a month out in which at the time that he did the tattoo, he told me and my 2 adult children that I could stop in any time to get it done. We also live 40 minutes away. As a person with multiple tattoos over 30 years, the tattoo I received was not very good quality but I was willing to deal with it because it was going to be touched up and now I’m stuck with it. Be careful.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. The guys are great with the knowledge of their tattoos and they dont charge an arm and a leg they pretty much ask you what do you feel is right and then they can negotiate back and forth but I didnt get pressured into a price right off the bat theyre scheduling is great its all around you and what your needs are and they even tell you a month later to come in and do anything needs to be done free of charge. I will be going back there for my next tattoo

Abby was patient and calm as my nine year old about had a nervous breakdown before getting her ears pierced…even though she begged for earrings, and proudly paid for them herself. I’m so grateful we chose to have services done here! Professional, kind, encouraging…it’s a moment my daughter and I will always remember.

Been a longtime customer and friend to this staff and location. But yesterday I chose a new artist Jeremy. I must say I was there for nearly 7 hours. The visit was great. Hes a very talented artist. Its always a great time getting ink here and enjoying the typical barbershop convos and great music. Ill be back soon. Totally worth the 45 min drive!

Jeremy whips out clean tattoos in a short amount of time with precise line work, placement, and does exactly what you ask for. He’s very chill and the shop is clean…highly recommend going to see him at the Oxford location.

Francesca was absolutely amazing!! she was so sweet and took the time to place each mark!! the place is very clean and everyone there is so friendly. i will definitely come back for more piercings :)Update!: I just got 2 more piercings done here with abby! she is absolutely wonderful and i truly love everyone there. it is such a welcoming environment! will forever recommend and return here :)Update #2: i got my navel done by abby again and again she is fabulous as always 💕

Just moved to this area and needed a new artist. This shop is minutes from my home, so its very convenient. I was on a waiting list for an appointment and got called the same day and asked if I could be there. I jumped on the opportunity. My artist was Joe. He was awesome. Took his time, provided his opinion, input and made suggestions. The area where he worked was meticulously clean. The end result was incredible. I would strongly recommend Joe, however I saw the other artists working and they were just as professional as Joe. I would strongly suggest this place to the First Time Tattooer. American Pride knocks it outta the park.

Austin is phenomenal. The whole staff is really cool and knows what they’re talking about 100%. But him especially was so accommodating, and easy to talk to and work with, and made me feel very comfortable at his station. Not to mention he went above and beyond with my tattoo and it looks truly incredible.

The friendliest most welcoming tattoo shop I’ve ever been in. Lilly pierced my ears and did a fantastic job. She was kind, attentive, and calming. I would highly recommended this shop.

I went here a little over a year ago and got a tattoo done and absolutely loved them. I recently decided to come back and get my nose pierced, and it was the same wonderful service and people. I absolutely love it here and plan to come here for literally ALL the tattoos and piercings i’ll ever want. they’re always so nice the minute you walk in and do an amazing job of explaining the process.

I took my daughter there to get her ears pierced on 1-9-20. David did it and we was absolutely amazing with her! I would 100% recommend them! Everyone was very good with her and I am very happy with how detailed they were with every step! I look forward to coming in soon to get a tattoo! Thank you all for being so good with my daughter! Great experience having my lip pierced here. Staff is friendly and welcoming, facility is very clean. I felt comfortable. I’ll definitely be back to pick out some lip rings once it heals :)

My six year old daughter had her ears pierced with Jessica. 10 days later my daughter is still laughing and reminiscing about her time with Jessica. Jessica knows what she is doing. Made it quick and full of laughs. She also explains everything clearly so you feel well prepared to take care of your new piercings. I highly recommend her for littles!Thank You, Jessica!

Took my daughter here for her 7th birthday to get her ears pierced. Francesca was the one who did it and she was so nice and patient. I would recommend any one to go to her!

I worked with David and he was very involved in the tattoo concept and help me with the optimal placement contoured to my body for the longevity and ascetic of the art. He got to know me and earned my trust as an artist! His work is amazing! Have and will continue to recommend him and American Pride Tattoo!

Decent work, but bad attitudes and expensive. Almost walked out right away because of how they were talking to customers. Tattoo was decent, but was told to call in 2-3weeks for consultation on any color touch ups for free within 4 weeks. When called they were too busy to schedule within the 4 week time and was told sorry shouldve called sooner. Funny enough when paying money you can walk in and get a tattoo without an appointment. I wont go back.If you want a overpriced decent tattoo with bad attitudes, bad customer service, and lies about free touchups then this is your place.

Pretty disappointed actually, had gone in about a month ago my fiance and myself to get a tattoo each. The guy said they were busy, which is totally understandable and okay not the problem. So he took our names and phone numbers and said hed call when they were finished with the client they had at the time because it was going to be a couple more hours. He asked what tattoos we wanted so we explained them to him and we even told him we had photos he laughed at us and said okay Ill talk to you all soon. Never called. Very unprofessional. Will not be going here.

Brother and I went in and got matching tattoos with randy, he did an awesome job and was very accommodating and very light hand. He also did my nipples today and was great at explaining the whole process and aftercare. Would recommend to anyone looking for a new artist or first timer.

I went here for my first nostril piercing when I was 18, and was back again today for my second nostril piercing. After my piercing, due to ZERO fault of These poor dudes, I passed out. I felt prettttty bad and I may never be able to show my face again over embarrassment, but when I passed out/came to everyone here handled it EXTREMELY well And I couldn’t be more thankful that I happened to pass out in the environment I did.Thank you guys for being funny, patient, kind, professional, quick thinking, and thank you most of all for another cute piercing!

I came in later in the evening with a tattoo idea I was excited about and Katrina (Kat) was great about getting me set up. I got an outline tattoo and the lines came out sharp and clean just like I asked for. It was my first tattoo and I had was nervous going into it but it turned out great and my experience at American Pride didnt give me anything to worry about :)

Joe was awsome an exceptional artist absolutely did a outstanding job. This was my first tattoo ever and wow was I impressed great customer service made me feel comfortable and got right in with no appointment my tattoo took over 3 hours. I would absolutely recommend joe to anyone looking for a tattoo. I will be back for more. Great job guys you are all truly artists in what you do. Thank you

I always have a great experience at this location, everyone is extremely helpful. Kat has done 5 of my 6 tattoos and I wont be going to anyone else! Highly recommend this shop if youre looking for piercing or tattoo.

Iv never been to such an amazing tattoo shop with high quality equipment with a sterile and clean environment. I admire the artist who work here, between all of them they work as a family and create the most magnificent tattoos iv ever seen in any style art imaginable. They are extremely open minded and are willing to help anyone find the best options for them. I would recommend everyone looking to get a tattoo or any peircings to get them here!

My belly Piercing was 135 dollars! They quoted me $65. This is my 2nd time getting that pierced, the first time was less than half, it was great. However, I went to a different tattoo parlor my 1st time around. I Will never go to American Pride again or recommend it to anyone. They over charge.

I got my septum pierced by Francesca and she did amazing. Made me feel comfortable and the piercing looks fantastic!!

Everyone there is such talented and amazing artists. Super friendly and helpful. Ive gotten plenty of piercings and tattoos from here and I am always satisfied with the outcome. 10/10 recommend coming here for your next tattoo or piercing!

Do NOT go here and give this sad excuse for a locally owned tattoo shop your business. We can start off by saying this would not have been my first tattoo so its not like Im giving them a bad review just to be rude or because I dont know how the tattoo world works. First of all, I called the shop to ask what their minimum is (which they quoted me over the phone of $70) only to get there and have them tell me how easy the tattoo would be, how it would take all of 2 minutes to do but would be $80. Not only were there 3 artists just sitting around playing on their phones but, when I walked in the woman behind the counter was beyond rude with me and had the audacity to tell me on the way out good luck finding somewhere else to go get it done for less because I was not pleased with their change in mind on the price. Now get this part, (to the rude woman behind the counter who I am more than thankful did not do my tattoo) I found multiple shops close to town whose prices were better than yours and they were also much more polite. Its sad that a tattoo shop with multiple artists sitting around not making any money would allow a customer to be spoken to and treated that way but also for business and money to be made just walk out the door. Ive had tattoos done by American Pride in the past and will promise them this, you will never receive business or a recommendation to anyone from me. No wonder your parking lot is never full (let alone busy) and thank you for being so rude because the best thing that happened to me today was NOT getting tattooed by someone from your shop. DO NOT GO HERE!!! SPEND THE FEW EXTRA DOLLARS IN GAS AND TAKE YOUR BUSINESS SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!

Came here a few months ago and waited 40 mins for a ear piercing while all the employees sat there talking to their friends instead of doing their job and made me feel very unwelcomed there they were extremely rude ! Wasn’t even going to waiste my time and write a review but this has happened to several of my friends as well so it’s time to say something! Please everybody, if you are planning on coming here for a peircing don’t or a tatto for that matter very rude and unprofessional people at this location

Just got my 2nd tattoo from Kat and she is amazing, has a light hand which decreases the pain tremendously and she always goes above and beyond what I could ever expect in an artist.Now to address some other comments and no I dont work here or know any of them personally but what I did notice in my day and basically all day tattoo1.i have never once been disrespected here2. Yes artist sit around but thats when they dont have a client at the moment3. Yes their is potty language but its a tat shop thats what they do adults talking about adult things4. Austin is not rude he is sarcastic and thats just his personality.5. They will do what the customer wants but they will advise and not do it if its not safe or is a spot that likely wont heal right6. Had people come in and complain their piercing was infected and fell out because they didnt follow american prides cleaning guide. Well thats not their fault it is yours if you dont want to listen to directions it is your responsibility once you leave7. All shops have a minimum even if your tat is the size of a quarter you will pay the minimum ANYWHERE U GOREMEMBER YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR AND IF THAT MEANS I GOTTA PAY MORE THEN IM WILLING TO DO THAT FOR QUALITY, CLEANLINESS AND SERVICE.I will continue to get my ink done here.

1. Got my first tattoo done here(mind you it was only lettering with a total of 4 words) paid OVER $100 for it and my friend had gotten a tattoo from a different tattoo shop. Her tattoo was wayyyy more detailed than mine and cost less than mine did and took way more time so why was a charged that much? 2. Went back to see if I could get another tattoo of mine(that I paid $45 for) touched up(didn’t get it done with them so I understand that I would be charged for the touch up) and he told me it would be $100. over priced and rude customer service here

I was very happy , walked in for my appointment and saw how clean and organized they are , everyone is very friendly and helpful . My appointment was with Katrina Oke , she is very professional , help me decide the right placement for my tattoo , showed me her drawings which made what I wanted look even better .... ive now had many tattoos from her shes a great Artist

Great artists with a clean and laid back shop. They are one of the most expensive places Ive ever been to but you get what you pay for. They use quality tools and ink and stand by their work. Thanks for the great ink job!

Don’t go here, about a year ago i got a tattoo by AJ on my wrist and it wasn’t to my liking so I went back for a touch up, the touch up was messed up too and it’s STILL not to my liking. And just today I went to get my septum pierced, it was CROOKED AND TOO LOW!!! Im never coming here again.

Ive been to this location multiple times for tattoos and piercings, and Ive never had any problems. Tonight I called ahead to make sure someone could get me in for a tattoo. I walk in and I explain what I want. Right from the get go I got the feeling of being talked out of what I want. I even think I saw an eye roll from Austin. He goes back and draws up an idea. He brings it to me. I try to explain its too detailed and i wanted it tweeked. He started giving me a hard time about what I was asking for. If its my body and my money and I want a mountian to look like a triangle, just do it. I walked out and have never felt so put down and made to feel stupid by an artis before. I have 15 tattoos and I know its going to hurt and I also know what I want. Im Completely disappointed in Austins treatment towards me.

This place is amazing. they are fair with their prices and wonderful artists. all of them people you can joke with and have a good time while getting your tattoo or piercing.

Austin did a cover up for me yesterday, I didnt think anyone could do it but he did! he gave me every thing I wanted it it to make it look like an outer space theme! and the price for it was great as well!

Austin is a terrible person and not a great artist. First of all, did my tattoo not how I wanted it. Then has creepily tried to get with me since I’ve been in there and is just so many “choice words”. This place in general is really cheap.

My friend an I both got tattoos here they were no bigger then a quarter just 2 hearts an they charged us 85!!She got a tattoo the same size for $20 at another place... an she went back with my other friend for belly button piercing an they charged over $100!She looked up the same ring they have her it was only $20.... I think they are wayyyyy over priced...

Took my husband here to get a tattoo as an anniversary present. They did an awesome job and were incredibly nice and professional. I would definitely go here again.

Even though they didnt pierce my nose originally they took me to get my new jewelry in and were nice and informative the whole time!

My sisters go to american pride for piercings and tattoos. i have never went yet, just my sisters have but i am going to go soon to get my lip pierced, American prides piercings and tattoos are great. My sisters have never had problems with their piercings and no mess ups with the tattoos.

Really nice people. Had my 3 year olds ears pierced. My kids had a fun time, and my daughter didnt even cry. I would recommend them.
