Jess did an amazing job fixing a botched tribal tattoo. She specializes in so much and is so kind !! She goes above and beyond so my experience is always pleasant. I met with Ernie to do this tattoo and he’s a really great guy and artist. All of his artwork and tattoos are the best I’ve ever seen. As far as the tattoo goes, he has a light hand and he was very detailed and efficient in his work. I will definitely come back to him for more.The very few negative reviews about him on google are false and I’d recommend not letting them sway you in another direction. If you want a tattoo that you’re going to love for the rest of your life, then Ernie is the way to go.

Cannot praise Ernie enough! This is actually my 2nd time getting a tattoo at TopRocker. The first time was with Ryan and the 2nd time with Ernie. First of all, both tattoos are crisp! Also, on both occasions, Ernie has made feel super welcomed as soon as I walked in and always made sure to explain things with me while also hearing my thoughts out. Frankly this is the only shop I’ve been to where I’m not (at all) intimidated by the environment and the artists/owner lol. safe to say Ernie is my artist now.

I have been going to Top Rocker for about 6 years. Ernie Serv 1 Rojas is an amazing artist who is open to any idea you have for a tattoo that you bring to him. Everytime I go, he makes me feel welcome and comfortable while giving me excellent service. He takes pride in his work and i have always been Extremely happy with all the art he has put on me.

I wont go to anyone else besides Ernie for my tattoos. Hes working on a half sleeve for me now. It is looking amazing. The cover up he did for me years ago still looks great, too. I recommend him to everyone I know looking for an artist. Not only is he an amazing artist that can make your idea look better than you imagined it in your head, but hes very calm and helps ease any anxiety during the process. All the staff at Top Rocker are great. Theyre very helpful and pleasant to deal with.

I was floored by my experience at Top Rocker. Momo did a wonderful job on my tattoo, and he was a pleasure to hang out with while he was working his craft.Momo turned out to be really skilled in traditional American pinup style tattoos and so I asked him to start drawing up a piece I have wanted done for years. He was REALLY easy to work with, taking the bits I wanted incorporated and offering really good feedback. Im excited to see what he comes up with!My mom was tattood by Seth and he treated her great. When mine was finished I came over to see the floral design that he was treating one of her scars with and was really impressed. The best part for me was that he was hanging out with my mom and girlfriend and they were all laughing and having a good time. Ernie is the BEST in the biz! I had a very large coverup done by him last year and it’s the tattoo I get the most compliments on!! A cover-up! Some artists don’t even want to deal with reworking an old piece -Ernie faced the challenge AND gave me some beautiful new art.Returned today for yet, another coverup and you cannot even tell I had something there before. I could go on and on, but in addition to the quality of work: the folks at TRT are just super genuine & fun people to be around!

My oldest son wanted an awesome “Armor of God” tattoo and had been saving up and working toward it and we found Ernie aka Ser.V 1 who was absolutely wonderful to work with. The environment was inspiring with so much original artwork around and it was insanely clean! The vibe was so right from the get go and about 6 hours later, my sons piece was done. Ser.V 1 created an awesome experience for me and my sons friend as we got to watch close up from start to finish! Absolutely amazing work! I got a couple of script tattoos done here and I am so beyond happy with the results. My artist was Duck and he is a true master of his craft with tons of experience. Great attention to precision and detail and all the pieces he creates are phenomenal. He really listened to my ideas and was SO much fun to talk to! We wanted memorial tattoos for my mother in law. Right away Duck assisted us in giving us our tattoos. We had a total of 4 people and 1 after another he completed them all. The process was easy, we paid a $100 deposit and came back the next day for the appointment. We love each one that we got and we know mom would be very proud of each of them. My boyfriend and I just recently left this place after getting our Friday the 13th tattoos! A’ryan was so kind and very patient with us during the tattoo process. The finished product is well worth the wait.

Such a great tattoo experience from start to end. I came in with a tattoo that had been done by a different studio that needed to be almost entirely redone. Ernie didn’t hesitate to step in and bring my tattoo to life. He was able to not only cover up, rework and fill in areas that needed it, but he also was able to add details that improved the overall tattoo. I was thrilled to finally get to an artist that did not hesitate to help me out with recreating my tattoo. He didn’t just not hesitate, he was also excited to do it and help me out. After several bad experiences from other studios in the past, coming to Top Rocker tattoo has finally eased all my doubts and fears of having a great tattoo experience.

I originally came into Top Rocker Tattoo to get a bad tattoo covered up. I was so impressed with the work, I sleeved both my arms. Ernie has done phenomenal work on my arms, I couldnt be happier. The shop is as clean and sterile as my doctors office. Every artist is chill, easy to talk to and the music kicks ass too. I was lucky to find such a perfect shop to get tattooed. Its the only place Ill ever go from now on.

I started a half sleeve 12 years ago at another studio...through the years I have visited many other tattoo artists in an attempt to save the piece. Following each session it would look good, but within a few months would fade and I was disappointed. Ernie was able to rework the piece and I have never been happier. Absolute best tattoo shop Ive ever been to. After a lot of research, I called them about a consultation for a large cover up and doing a full sleeve. I got to meet with Duck Jones and gave him some very loose parameters about what I wanted, but he took it a step further and got to know me so he could design a more personalized sleeve. He called me a week later to show me what he designed, and I was absolutely blown away, could not have been more perfect. By far the most welcoming group of artists, you get the feeling that they truly care about their clients, and enjoy what they do. Only 3 sessions deep on the sleeve, but its already the best work I have on my body. 10/10 recommend

After years of wanting to get a tattoo, I finally decided on a design. I spoke with Ernie about what I wanted and he designed the perfect Bee on honeycomb artwork. So the day arrives for my 1st tattoo and I admit to being anxious. I know it will hurt, can I handle it?? Ernie was so gracious and very thoughtful. He gave me reassurance, he was patient with my inexperience, and so sweet about my anxiety. Once the tattoo started he gave me lots encouragement and a couple of breaks. Ernie just completed my first two tattoos. One on each forearm, the left for my girls and the right for my boys. He does beautiful work and I couldnt be more satisfied with the entire experience. ***PLEASE READ!!***I had heard so many great things about this tattoo shop but when I went with my husband we were highly disappointed. I’m not the type of person to complain, I’m usually very easy going and kind (I was also in the customer service industry so I know how that can be). Last week my husband and I went into Top Rocker and made an appointment with Aryan. He was very kind and welcoming. Our appointment was scheduled for today and everything started to go south really quick. Last week he told us he was going to give us a phone call when he finished working our designs so that way we could stop by the shop and finalize details of the tattoo. Up until yesterday we didn’t hear from him at all. My husband actually had to reach out to get information about it. He said he was still working on them and then asked my husband if we could come in at 2:30 for the appointment (it was originally scheduled for 5). We called back to let him know that my husband would be there at 2:30 and I would come right after I got off of work. Today my husband showed up at 2:30 and waited for 45 minutes with no sign of Aryan. He came home and later received a text asking if we could come back for the original scheduled time at 5. I was already very irritated at this point but thought that we’d give it another try. 5 MINUTES before 5pm we received another text where he asked if we could reschedule for the next day. He had two different excuses of why he wasn’t there in the first place and then why he needed to reschedule. Upon arrival he showed us the designs and they were nothing like what we asked for. This was very surprising because we sent photos to him to ensure that he was able to bring the art we had in mind to life. He also could not quote a price for my husband’s tattoo. He also quoted mine to be $200 last week, but then today told me that it would be $300. After asking for a refund on our deposits he told us we couldn’t get it back because he already drew the design (even though it was wrong and he did it last minute!) We left because we both felt irritated and uncomfortable with the situation. This is not our first time getting tattoos, we have multiple so I know we aren’t being unreasonable. Other artists we have gone to were very professional and made us feel heard and valued, but Top Rocker did the opposite for us. We will not be back and will make sure to let others know about our experience so they avoid this shop as well.

I just got my first ever tattoo here and let me tell you it was a great experience. I went in yesterday for a consultation, super easy - just agreed on a price and signed some paperwork and made myself an appointment for 1 o’clock this afternoon. I arrived a little early, roughly 12:45 but was quickly acknowledged and taken care of. I already picked out a design and Rick took care of the rest. He drew up the stencil, placed it and made sure I liked the placement. It was a little off but he got it fixed no problem. As he was starting, he showed me the needle still in the packaging “this is your needle.” It’s a great environment, very clean, very friendly. One of the other guys there turned up the music a little louder to help me focus on something else. Rick and I were talking while he was doing the tattoo. It was done exactly the way I wanted it, and I would definitely go back for another tattoo

I came in for a walk in. There wasn’t much of a wait, and the apprentice (didn’t catch her name) was very friendly! I ended up getting work done from A’Ryan who was VERY patient with me and my indecisiveness. In the end I love what we came up with and will be back!

I decided to cover up a tattoo that I had gotten years ago. Hands down the best experience I have ever had in a tattoo shop. First, Ernie consulted with me on what I wanted to do. Then he not only designed a custom cover up piece into a sick sleeve, but explained everything he was doing and how it applied to my piece particularly.Before I went in for my session, Ernie also explained to me how I should specifically prepare for this session and following it to the T, I did not bleed once during the roughly 5+ hour session. Im in my second day of after-caring for it and it looks great and is not scabbing at all. I have already scheduled my next session two weeks away from the first session and I could not be happier.If anyone is looking to get an experience through a tattoo and not just get a tattoo, this is the best place to go. RICK!!!!! Rick’s the best! He is straight up and honest, clean, and does art to perfection. Three of us came in with rough ideas for a matching tattoo at a very last minute (literally right before they closed) and he drew it up, adjusted to every request and told us when it would be too detailed for the size, going away from what we were originally looking at, and if it was too busy in certain spots, etc. without ANY rush. He made sure that we were POSITIVE about the placement and redid the stencil without any frustration, etc. I’ve been to other tattoo places where they have serious attitude about placement or changing drawings. This was an amazing experience! Also, Duck did one of our and his art is AMAZING as well. :)

My fiancee and I did our research and decided this looked like the best place to go to get our tattoos redone. Its an added bonus that the shop is so close to our house. I would drive hours to have Ernie as my artist. My back tattoo was horribly done and after my first session I already love what hes transformed it into. The whole experience has been great. This is THE place to go. My mom and I had been searching for a shop that would take us in on late notice and Ernie (the owner and one of the tattoos artists) took us in with no hesitation. It was only my mom’s second time getting a tattoo and he really helped make her feel completely comfortable and secure with the entire process. When it was my turn to get tatted, I felt a huge connection to him as we talked about life, nutrition, spirituality, etc. Ernie’s positive energy was infectious and his work was incredibly clean and efficient! I am definitely going back to get more pieces done from him in the future.

When me and my dad first went in to get tattoos, Tommy greeted us. He was real easy to talk to and explain what we were looking for in our tattoos. When we arrived for our appointment, Tommy had drawn up our designs and showed them to us, they were what we wanted. He did a great job and was very friendly. He made sure to shade my tattoo with what he thought would look best. While we were there the other artists were also very helpful. I’d definitely recommend this shop to anyone looking for tattoos, very reasonably priced as well.

Rick is the best! Super friendly, professional, patient, and detailed in his work. I came in with a henna that I wanted as a tattoo (with a few adjustments) and he made it look better than I could ever imagine! He also happened to be the person I spoke to over the phone, who suggested that I come in for a walk-in appointment, so he could take a look at what I wanted--and I ended up getting a tattoo that same day! Ernie at Top Rocker Tattoo is amazing. Not only did he create and do a fantastic design on my foot and ankle, he was able to incorporate my very first tattoo into the design. He also touched up and improved a wrist tattoo I had done there by another artist who had gone when I went back for touch ups. They went above and beyond due to the issues I had with the other artist but I truly believe they would have done that anyway. I will definitely be going back.

I just turned 18 and this was my first tattoo. The staff was so so friendly, both on the phone and in person. The manager, Fallon, was so sweet; being a young girl, tattoo shops are quite intimidating. She walked me through getting payment and the tattoo itself set up. My artist, Mr. Duck, was very welcoming and even tried making conversation to calm my nerves. Overall, it was a great experience for my first tattoo and will be going back in the future.

Amazing work and a professional studio!! I was involved with my tattoo from the beginning during the conceptual stages to even now. Ernie is my tattoo artist. Ernie gave me my first tattoo today!! I absolutely LOVE it. I was nervous to see if I would be able to handle the pain, but it was not bad whatsoever. He assured me of everything he was doing and why he was doing it. I got a small piece across my collar bone, but still received the same efficiency and effort as if it was a larger and more complicated piece. I didnt feel rushed through anything & 10/10 will definitely be going back for number 2 :)

I came to this shop and A’Ryan was my tattooist. This is my first ever tattoo. I had some photos of work I’d seen online, so I kind of knew what I wanted. He was professional, low key, and explained everything in advance. He worked up a custom design based on a photo I showed him and asked my approval of placement, design and shading before starting which I gave. The tattoo is a lot darker than I expected, but that’s on me (no pun intended).The cost was comparable to others of that size and detail. There is a $100 minimum. The shop is clean and has a relaxed vibe.

I went to see Skye to get microblading on my eyebrows. Skye was kind and very welcoming. Upon my arrival, she had a clean blanket for me, as it is cold in a tattoo studio. She listened to what I was wanting, answer all my questions and explained the process to me. She takes her time to make sure the angles and arch on my eyebrows were natural and beautiful. She made sure I was comfortable the entire time during the process while we chatted about life and TV shows. :) She also made sure I understood the aftercare process and encouraged me to contact her if I had any questions. I went here for spur the moment tattoos with my girlfriend. The manager, Fallon, got us right in and was very sweet. We both wanted lotus flower tattoos and Tommy did a great job drawing them out. After extensive research I decided on Top Rocker Tattoo.My daughter and I walked into the shop and were greeted by tattoo artist, Jesse. Jesses knowledge of tattoos, kindness, and professionalism were amazing. He is an artistic genius, a father, and a businessman. My daughter provided him with a description of the tattoo she wanted, and, on the spot, he started drawing. Jesse created a very beautiful design, but my daughter felt it was too large. Jesse was upfront and extremely honest when he told her that due to the fine details, he was unable to reduce the size without jeopardizing the integrity of the tattoo. Try telling that to a teenager, not an easy task. Jesse revised his artwork several times and my daughter still felt the design was too large. As we were leaving, he stated that he would continue to play around with the design to reduce the size without compromising the outcome. I knew at that point that Jesse would be the only artist that I would allow to give my daughter her first tattoo.Jesse texted a new design to my daughter within an hour after we left the shop. The artwork was extremely beautiful, and a time was scheduled for the following day.The following day Jesse gave my daughter her first tattoo. He was kind, caring, and aware of her feelings during the entire process. Her tattoo was on her upper rib cage which can be painful. The final product was extremely beautiful, and her grandmother would be proud. Jesse appears to truly care more about his clients and his passion for tattoos than he does about making money. I first came to this studio looking to have work done by Ernie Rojas. His design for my tattoo not only exceeded my expectations but the size and placement of my tattoo made it that much more beautiful. He was very professional, and has an extremely light hand. We took are daughter here for her first tattoo on her birthday. She wanted a treble clef tattoo on her shoulder. She could not have been happier. Rick was the artist that performed work. He made everyone comfortable, and tattoo came out exactly as planned and looks great. The atmosphere was chill, and good music playing the whole time. Not to mention we were in and out in less than an hour. Will be returning for future work and mentioning to friends!!!

I came in with my girlfriend, we were going to get our first tattoos. A’Ryan was super friendly the instant we entered, and immediately started working with us on figuring out what we wanted and how to best deliver it. The atmosphere was also very welcoming, clean, and comfortable. During the tattoo process for my girlfriend and I, he made sure to give us advice on how to breathe and manage the “pain” (not sure how to describe tattoo pain). He was very gentle and patient throughout the whole process, constantly asking both of us if we were okay and if we needed anything. For our first tattoos, we are super grateful to have A’Ryan do them. Definitely coming back again, thank you!

I happened by this place while shopping for groceries. I happen to be one of those people that get tattoos when the mood hits me and I always go in alone. The shop is clean and welcoming. This time I wanted to get a still I rise tattoo and Duck was my tattoo artist. He took my vision and spent time creating a Tattoo specific to me. I at no point felt out of place here which can sometimes be the case at some other shops I have been in where they treat you like more of an inconvenience. Thank you for the amazing artwork . Love this place and the artists. The owner Ernie gave me my first tattoo 16 years ago and it still looks like the day it was done. Then artist Tommy Robertson and I have been working on a Star Wars body suite a couple years ago.... we have completed about 30% of it and i couldnt be any more happier. I included some photos in the review. ive taken a little break for the winter but starting back up this summer and I CANT WAIT to see what Tommy as drawn out for me. He really is a tattoo genius. Not only is his art work AMAZING but he is GREAT at fitting different pieces together and making everything flow smoothly. He know just the right colors to put together and what will work with each other. You really need to see this guy if you want something involving pop culture because its important to know back stories of the art work the artist is tattooing so they can come up with unique ideas.... and this guy KNOWS HIS STUFF! Cant WAIT to get started back up this summer brotha! Keep up the amazing work ma dude.

Im so glad we found this shop for our tattoos. My sister and I wanted to do something unique for our dad, who we lost last year. We went in to talk to someone and Rick jumped right on creating the perfect tattoo for his memory. We showed him a vague idea and the outcome was beyond expectations. It was my sisters first tattoo and Rick was so awesome with her, he talked to us the whole time, made sure that we took a break if we needed it, and was an all around awesome guy. The shop is super clean and even just between us, everything was completely sanitized. They take their jobs seriously and have a passion for their art. Im so glad we found them and know well be going back to Rick in the future!!!

Went to the shop yesterday for my first two tattoos, and it could not have been a better experience. Everyone is so nice, and chill. I was nervous, but Tommy , the guy who did my tattoo, had me laughing the whole time. You can tell that Tommy puts his heart into the tattoos and really enjoys what he does. I went to Top Rocker Tattoo a couple of months ago to get my first tattoo. I was a little nervous and apprehensive due to the horror stories I had heard. A few friends recommended Groove as my artist and Im so thankful that they did. He was very patient, professional and listened to what I wanted in my tat. Laura and A’ryan did an amazing job on my recent tattoo. I’ve had work done elsewhere but it seemed they wanted to be proud of their work. The older tattoo shop I went to in my old city just sent me on my way but I felt like this shop provided great service before, during and after my session. They even had little reminder sheets for aftercare. The shop itself is decorated in art and the owner had some amazing designs displayed at his station. I saw someone get a consultation for a coverup while I was there so I’ll be back for that next. This was an easy 5 stars for me. Thanks Laura and A’ryan.

I had a cover-up Of little black daisies and Tommy was my tattoo artist. Tommy did such a beautiful job I was able to represent all three of my dogs and his work is so clean his touch was soft and it was easy to sit theough the tattoo, he checked how I was doing frequently. I’m so happy my son recommended me to go to this tattoo shop.

I have been contemplating getting my first tattoo for almost a year. I had a personal design of a butterfly and the corresponding French word. But I wasn’t sure how I wanted to capture the energy and intent in an actual artwork piece m that I would have on my body for the rest of my life. Ernie was a wonderful sounding board to get my creativity flowing and helped transform that energy behind my tattoo into something I’m proud to display on my body. It was an amazing experience (Ernie could also be a therapist ha ha). I’d happily fly here from DC again to get more artwork from Top Rocker Tattoo.

Ernie does great work. He freestyles my designs from the pictures I give him. The quality of his work is outstanding and I love the way he uses the colors and make stand out on me especially with me have dark skin. I would definitely recommend him for any tattoo work.

The wife had an itch to get a new tattoo for a while and finally decided to pull the trigger. Walked in the front door and was immediately greeted by the front desk where she answered all of the questions and even better when said she could get her in that night as a walk-in. Rick did an awesome job designing something custom for her that was sentimental relation to our children. He did a great job with his work, well above what I expected was going to be done.Ill definitely be going back to get some work done myself by the end of the year.

I went in a week ago to get my nipples pierced and it went so smoothly. I was nervous to get them done but the guy who did them (I wish I could remember his name because he was great) reassured me that theres nothing to be nervous about. He was super professional and worked quickly. I paid $60 which is awesome because several shops told me they charge $80-120. I was very pleased with the whole experience and I will definitely be coming back to this shop. :)

So i got my first tattoo here a few years ago. The shop was clean and the artists did a good job. These people were hella expensive though. Its embarassing to tell people where I got my work done because i paid so much for it. It was my first piece and they could have at least added color. This piece should have been a shop minimum but instead I paid $200.I have worked really hard for my money and $200 is a lot for me. To try to make things better this model tried to throw in a photo. I threw it away.Im happy with the work. Not happy with how I was treated in the past though.

Though a little pricey, Seth won me over. Hes meticulous, focused, honest and kind. I got two small tattoos; one a black band around my pinky finger and a word tattoo on my left forearm. I look forward to his creativity on my next ones.

I got my brows done for the first time through Skyes The Limit Microblading inside Top Rocker Tattoo. My eyebrows have been nearly nonexistent since I was diagnosed with a thyroid disorder, and that has been a point of some insecurity for me over the years. So when I finally decided to try microblading, I was very excited, but also very nervous. I hadnt had eyebrows in so long, would they look wildly unnatural??! Not at all! Skye was so sweet and listened to my needs, and she helped me get the most natural brow and color for my face. She worked with me through the healing process, and was always a message away for any concerns I had. I LOVE my brows, and Im so so happy I chose Skye. Shes the best! And not to mention the sweetest and easiest to talk to. If youre on the fence about getting brows: DO IT! And if you use Skye, you absolutely wont regret it!

Had an appointment and ended up waiting an hour to get started. When I tried to make changes or offer suggestions on what I wanted, artist pushed back and it felt like he didn’t care. Once tattoo heals, I will be going somewhere else for them to fix it.

This was by far my best experience in getting a tattoo. Erine paid attention to what I asked for when I came in for my consultation. Drew an awesome piece that was exactly what I wanted. When I had my appointment Erine took care of me. Super professional and it wasn’t just about the tattoo but the experience. His technique is amazing and he made my wife and I feel like family.
