By far the best Tattoo shop I’ve been too! I’ve been tatted a few times at different places, even got my piercings done other places. I wish I would’ve met Dave first!! The shop itself is very clean. My daughter and I was greeted with all smiles, impeccable sense of humor and the atmosphere overall felt wholesome. Little did I know, this shop is an outstanding work of art.. great talent there! It’s one thing to have state of the art work, but the staff were excellent. My teenage daughter is ready for tattoos and piercings and we found our place. Thank you Guys So much for your hospitality and great work. I give 5 stars ✨✨🌟⭐️💫 Keep up the great work guys. I can’t wait to come back for more piercings and tattoos. Dave is absolutely amazing! I love all his work! He is the man my whole family comes to for tattoos! He did a phenomenal portrait of my grandfather, He truly is talented and it’s always a great time! Max is also very talented! I highly recommend coming to see these guys !

I went in today and I spoke with the tattoo artist Elijah.. I explained to him how I wanted my tattoo and he printed it out on the computer exactly how I showed it to him. he was very professional and I was in and out in no time. I definitely will be back for more ink.. I definitely will recommend people to this shop unlike jr tattoo around the corner on 61 a market who tried to over charge me for a small tattoo with 5 letters.

Came here to my septum repierced, which was a great experience. I got to the shop, and i swear i was out within 5-7 minutes. Dave opened a new hole, which i was concerned about initially because it was a different place than the previous piercing i had, but i went with it and i am STILL amazeddddd by how little it hurt compared to the first time. My previous peircing was pierced through the cartilage and hung super low.. but Dave knows what hes doing and it looks amazing. Hes a very friendly dude and i really liked that he gave the option to pick my jewelry. Very sanitary as well. Im definitely coming here again, yall dont sleep on this place!

Well, what can I say about Dave and the Mrs. except for DYNAMITE!! I came into the shop for not one but TWO tattoos. Since Dave was busy, his wife did me the honors of giving me my body art. I got a butterfly with the breast cancer sign and a rose with the breast cancer sign since Im battling double breast cancer less than two years. The shop is cleaned after each customer and I like the atmosphere. So, drop on by and say hi to Dave and the Mrs. (Im not getting paid for this plug).

This business is where I got the majority of my tattoos and piercings. Ive never experienced any problems; always excellent service! Both men are talented and incredibly kind. Incredible is an understatement.

You have to go in and schedule an appointment and pay a deposit in cash. Elijah was nice throughout the whole process. My daughter got her first tattoo and he was very calm and patient. This young man takes his time and takes pride in his work. My daughter is already talking about getting a second and third tattoo. The tattoo minimum is $50. Facility is older but its clean.

Im here to add to the tattoo that was created last week and to enhance one that I have had over 25 years ago. This is the only place I will ever come for a tattoo. I got a matching tattoo with my mom and it came out so cute. It was my first tattoo and Elijah did mine! He was great!! I also got my belly pierced and it was super quick.

Last Wednesday I got my snake eyes repierced and Dave did a good job it didnt hurt and made me feel comfortable and it took 2 seconds we were done! He is so friendly! And professional. I highly recommend

This was by far the best tattoo experience I’ve ever had, maybe best exeprrience ever?😅 In all seriousness, Dave and Eli were so patient and kind! This was my sisters first time getting a tattoo and she was so at ease because of the environment they’ve created. They helped us pick out tattoos, distracted us when the pain really kicked in, and laid out the aftercare tips very clearly. Eli did an incredible job on both tattoos, even the sketches and really explained every step of the process. His artwork is beautiful! If you are looking for a beautiful and affordable tattoo (esp for darker skin), definitely come here, 30/10 would recommend!!

I would not go anywhere else. I took my oldest son there when he turned 16 to get his first tattoo and he went there to get more tattoos as he got older. My youngest son went and got his tattoos when he got a lil older also. Then went back for another. The people are very professional and so are the tattoos that they do. I DO plan on going back to get a third.

I originally went because I trusted the shop I’ve gotten multiple tattoos here. But this time I Got my nips pierced and I was extremely nervous but Dave was very witty and made me feel comfortable. Waited maybe 5-10minutes for a walk-in appointment. No line on a Thursday afternoon. The customers inside seemed like regulars who were at ease and enjoyed being there.Leslie did my double forward helix and KILLED it. She made me feel comfortable and was very efficient. She was very easy to talk to and was very observant of my needs when I started feeling lightheaded afterwards!Also, the prices were incredibly reasonable, which for me excuses the fact that for these piercings, though the jewelry is small, they really didnt have a lot of options. Im sure if you are getting any other piercing done with a bit larger jewelry, youd probably have more to choose from.

I went to Daves on July 23rd,2018. I had such a nice time! The shop is so clean,the staff is so professional and friendly! Dave did my tattoo and he made me feel so comfortable! I was in hysterics my entire visit! My Infinity tattoo came out so nice and Dave even put his personal touches on it to bring it out more because he knew the importance of it for me. Entered the shop and waited 30 minutes with no room to sit. Dave was friendly and made very good conversation but pierced my septum too low which left it hanging from the bottom of my nose causing severe pain and irritation. Staff was friendly and it makes me sad to leave such a poor review but hopefully these things will receive work and I’ll be able to return.

My 4 friends and i were in Philly for the weekend and decided to get small, matching tattoos. Daves Artistic Tattoo looked daunting from the outside, as we were all tattoo first timers, but the inside was very clean and comforting. Rob did an amazing job making us comfortable and making sure he had everything right. We paid 50$ for really tattoos, and a good experience.

Leslie is very professional, great to talk too, flexible with her prices, does top notch tattoo work, and shows respect and concern for her clients! Her husband Dave does great portrait tattoos and does a good job making you feel comfortable! Ive gotten 3 tattoos done buy them and love them all! I have gotten all of my tattoos done here. The shop is sort of small but the staff is very friendly. The parlor is also sanitary. Leslie has done my work and I love it. She also pierced my tongue. I will continue to go back and I recommend them. They will help you figure out exactly what you want and how you want it.

AWESOME SAUCE the best place to get cover ups u would never no that there was another tattoo under it. Family owned clean and very customer oriented. They have gained a customer for life or at least as long as there open. Dave has done 3 awesome cover ups so far and I have three more to go. Great pri8and even better work. I get way more than what u pay for.

I got my first tattoo done here about almost 2 years ago, something small on the lower part of my stomach. Everyone was nice and friendly and the wait was not long. The place is sort of small but cozy. I plan on going back to get more. The prices arent too bad, but it wouldnt hurt to bring them down a little more. The only thing bad about this place is that they wouldnt let my friend come in the room with me or let her take pictures or record. Other than that it was A okay. :)

Just went to dave this afternoon and when I tell u that he did two of my piercings in under a min I was shocked ... defiantly recommend me and my mother been going to him for tattoos and piercings since I was 13,14 I am now 20 but yes loving my piercings

Went in so the person could reopen my belly button piercing. She asked me (well more like told me) if I wanted it higher and I told her NO. Told her I wanted it in the exact same location. As you can clearly seeGot home and double checked because it started hurting a lot which it shouldn’t really do. Came to find out, she made a complete new hole above my original which I told her not to do in the first place.Apparently what I want doesn’t matter to these people, they just end up doing what they want.

I gave it a solid 3 stars bc the piercer is professional and made me feel comfortable, my only BUT is my septum ring is too big for my small nose. So now I’m unable to turn it up until the healing process is done.

I got dermals in my chest they put fake jewelry in there the gems are turning green and they refused to give me a refund. Since it’s been a couple months it’s my problem???My problem that you put fake jewelry in my body ???I have had dermals on my back for almost 7 years and never had this problem do not recommend going to this place they are not professional at all.

*Disclaimer* I did not get a tattoo from here. I went in to get a price for a tattoo. I waited for about 20 minutes. The lady gave me a ridiculous price for what I wanted. The reason why I say ridiculous was I had 2 other quotes that were HALF of what she said. I got the impression she didnt want to do the tattoo. At least the man there came out and said he doesnt do want I wanted. Shop around people.

I got a piercing there and was not too satisfied with the service. The shop looked dirty and the piercing artist did not seem very experienced. My industrial was overpriced and set so poorly I had to get another artist to fix it. They also never asked me to sign a wavier, something I should have picked up on.TLDR - Go somewhere else.

It didn’t hurt when I got my nostril pierced...he is amazing I know he was tired from doing a very detailed tattoo and wanted to rest and go home but he took three of us in....he’s amazing love his personality...I felt comfortable there…don’t mind the front appearance...no apt needed for the piercing.. call first for tattooing..piercings doesn’t take long... unless he’s busy you can eat and relax, just clean behind yourself.

My friends and I came for The Roots Picnic and we wanted to get a matching tattoo that was distinct to Philly while encompassing our friendship of 20+ years and Dave’s Artistic tattoo not only gave us amazing tattoos for a crazy reasonable price they were kind, funny, helped us navigate their neighborhood (all the bars!) and made us feel welcome 10/10 would recommend this gem!

I received 3 tattoos and 4 piercings from this place, and only had minor issues (one of my tattoos faded literally when the scab came off it was a foot tattoo so Im guessing it just probably wasnt deep enough or something) but definitely plan on going back to get that tattoo touched up, and some more work and even a piercing redone.
