JP was funny, absolutely amazing. I may have gotten something small and not intricate in the least, but he executed my idea perfectly. Pricing is fair and reasonable, atmosphere was great. 100% will come back even though I live over an hour away, its well worth the trip!

I went there got my smiley changed for 15 then got my nose pierced for 60 he said it would be 75 but the card tax was $5 so I said cool paid him 80 woke up this morning he stole $10 out of my account….

Took my 17 yr old there today to get her belly pierced… the guy was professional and personable!

The moment I walked in, the vibe was off. Tried to push past it because whatever. But once I started asking questions about pricing and placement he (wish I got his name) was extremely rude. I didn’t and I will NEVER give my money to a place that isn’t welcoming and could really care less about customer service.

Came to this place after being told I’d have to pay $360-$450 on a tattoo I wanted. I seen this shop and wanted to try one last time and it was the best decision ever! Very great owner and good atmosphere! I felt welcomed and very comfortable. The tattoo I was given came out to be $140 and only took 35-45min! Bigger than what I wanted as well :)! I love it so much!

Went to get my septum changed and the gentleman in there was super cool. Love that the shop is open 7 days a week. Def want to go back for my belly piercing!

If you’re looking to get a body piercing please DO NOT come here!!! The women that pierced my belly button was awful and on top of that I paid almost $80 dollar for that. I recently moved to PA and decided to get a piercing here. The piercing was extremely painful and mind you I have had multiple body piercings and it was the most pain I ever experienced. It’s been almost 11 months and the piercing is still uncomfortable and has not healed (but I literally paid $80 for this 🥲) also the piercing is tilted a bit and the area got darker and it just keeps getting bumps. Find somewhere else!

These are mediocre tattoos, they are scratching. If You care about the quality of art you receive , I recommend you go else where and dont loom for a production shop doing the home boy hook up. Ive been a tattooer 9 years on each coast and this is sub par trash. Reproduced slightly altered trash, probably not even altered by choice but by lack of skill executing a piece. They can not even color blend correctly . Stay away. Straight trash , their has to be drug use involved everyone has to be under the influence even the customer to call this garbage art. Tisk tisk.

JC did a tattoo for me when he was just an apprentice 13 years ago. I walked in yesterday and he was able to do my daughters name . Its absolutely beautiful I cant wait until my next one 😍

Great atmosphere. I think they are great at straight from book tattoos just once you ask for something not from a book the quality of work goes down. I won’t critique the tattoo bcuz it’s mine. Just only go for small tattoos that u can pick out from there books not something to go to for sleeves or really artistic tattoos.

Got my very 1st tattoo there. Its a oldie, but a goodie. A kids drawling I had brought in I did when I was 5! I always wanted this since I was knee high to a grasshopper and even more so since I was 10! I love love love red gummy bears! Got this red gummy bear tattoo in the year of 2002 after spring break on my hip bone. Ive heard from a lot of people while growing up that was the most sensitive spot to get it on. Totally forgot the guy that was with me that held my arm who thought I would be squeamish or even cry or even yep. Not at all I took it like a trooper. I was so estatic when drew the lines and when the guy tatting me filled in the red. It had to be the right red. He had it right on the 3rd try. Got this on a Sunday. 🤔 Well I remember the guy who opened the shop said he just came from church and apologize for any wait, but he was right on time. But I said it was cool. Take your time you gotta get yourself a situated. I was so amped by the way after I got the tattoo. THAT WAS LITERALLY THE GREATEST HIGH EVER!

Spider gave my Mom a piercing. Very clean and thorough job. He gave her very clear instructions on how to care for it. He was very polite and respectful, great service and a great energy. My Mom loves her new piercing.

Went in there with 2 photos of what I wanted. Didn’t even use the photos I wanted. Came down to my tattoo.... BUTCHERED. No straight lines, my tattoo doesn’t even connect. Shaded it and never once said I wanted it shaded.. wasn’t going to add in a part of the tattoo until I said something. Then free hand drew it and it’s not it and slanted. Even started doing his own thing on my friends tattoo. He did 4 terrible small simple easy tattoos. I might as well have gotten my own gun and tattooed myself. It would’ve came out 10000000% better!!! (Yes I have steady hands) John paul Carr, HORRIBLE WORK! Please listen to me. Even check insta jptatted and look for yourself. About to go pay a crazy amount more to get these terrible things better. SAVE your TIME and MONEY. Just travel 30 minutes to a better parlor.

This location@61st is the reason why Im terrified to get another navel piercing. The person doing my piercing had no idea what they were doing and I was told later IT WASNT SIZED PROPERLY and I ended up in the emergency room with an infection. Weeks later, I went into the other JRs @52nd and walnut to complain and I spoke to Ashley and she told me to come back when I healed from the infection and I would get a free piercing. I went back once I healed. Once I healed, I went back and a guy said he couldnt give me a FREE piercing because he didnt know who I was. JRs has ruined that experience for me. Im not sure if Ill ever get another navel piercing.
