Words don’t do the shop credit. I stopped in as a walk in for a 1st time tattoo and it was perfect from the start. Instead of rushing into a tattoo, Jacky recommended I get in touch with Brianna for my specific tattoo. It was a pet portrait tribute to my boxer. After speaking with Jacky and getting in touch with Brianna my tattoo journey was a piece of cake. Brianna was beyond accommodating in my requests and beyond helpful in answering all my questions. I can’t put into words how happy I am with the job Brianna did and just seeing her artistic talent. The tattoo is something I was thinking about for almost 3 years and Brianna brought my dream to fruition. I can’t explain how happy and thankful I am for the work that was done. For a first tattoo this was a pain free and easy as possible.The entire shop is a testament to the art of tattooing. Brianna from the bottom of my heart - thank you for representing Titan’s memory as perfectly as I could have imagined.Do yourself a favor and stop by the shop.

Jacky did an absolutely phenomenal job. She’s an incredible tattoo artist and I am SO HAPPY with how it turned out! Eddie runs a great shop with a great vibe. Highly recommend!

I have been twice now to this location, and both times got excellent work done by Katy from her flash! She did an incredible job both times of being informative, flexible with placement and timing, and overall being a pleasure to work with.Moreover, the quality of the tattoos I have gotten from her, both when fresh and when healed months out, are some of the best I have seen and received. Her work, as well as the hospitable and kind atmosphere of both her and the shop, get my highest reccomendation.

Super fun atmosphere in an historic street shop in an awesome neighborhood. Loads of flash - both old and new - and diverse artist styles. This is a very female-friendly shop, with welcoming, trauma-informed artists. Not always something you find in a traditional shop.Clay did a custom piece for me. I told him my idea and he made it better than I could have imagined. Good, clean tattoo with a light hand and excellent attention to detail. Whether youre looking for vintage flash, custom pieces, traditional black and grey, modern color work, walk-ins, you name it. This shop has got you covered.

I was at Eddie’s for my appointment with Katy A.D. a week ago. This was my first tattoo in over 10 years. Katy made the experience enjoyable and the process seamless. I’d highly recommend using her as an artist and would definitely go back for some more work!

I’ve now had two tattoos done by Katy and am planning four more! I love how professional but casual and accommodating she is! The shop itself is always clean and welcoming! If you’re looking for your next regular tattoo artist consider looking here (specifically Katy cause she’s wonderful 😉)

I had such a great experience with Katy! After a few back and forth texting and clarifying she nailed the design on the first draft! The whole shop was real clean and well kept. Katy was very thorough cleaning and prepping their station. If you want an anime, Pokemon, or Zelda tattoo, Katys the person! Theyll be able to bring your design ideas to life!

Probably the worst tattoo I’ve ever gotten. The original artist was shaking the whole tattoo, and gave me crooked lines. I came for a touch up and then came back a third time. Prior to my third time coming in I had an appointment with clay. As I was waiting in the sitting area he came in with a pack of beer and said he forgot we even had an appointment. He told me prior to even “touching up” my finger tattoo that finger tattoos are gonna need a lot of touch ups. I told him all I wanted was straight lines. He went over the line and messed it up. It literally looks like a dot on top of a line. When I told him it looks like dot he immediately told me that it was just from my skin being puffed up from the tattoo. Literally any tattoo artist should be able to do a simple straight line. Or at least be able to make a tattoo look better.

Brianna has done several tattoos for me over the last 2 years. She takes my ideas and always creates something awesome. I would recommend her to anyone looking to get some ink done!

LOOOOOVE this place. KATY was the artist that helped me out and she was fabulous. Explained all the things, patient with me needing to readjust, and of course gave me a piece that I freakin love. She also has pillows on her table which is so convenient. Kinda warm in the studio but not uncomfortable. Will love to return and get some more from her.The other artists had an awesome report with each other so it was fun watching them chitchat and work.

Katy was amazing with not only her work but fun she had doing my tattoo and making things as easy as can be while also sending out lots of information and asking questions to make sure I was more then ready can’t wait to go back for more work done by Katy truly great

I have visited Brianna for five of my piercings. She is friendly, professional, and calming. Brianna does an amazing job explaining the piercing process and reviewing aftercare. All of my piercings have healed extremely quickly. Brianna is the best!! 😊

Just had a tattoo covered up by Sean a few days ago. Couldnt be happier. I was probably a pain in his a$$, texted him several times about design ideas, etc., and he was patient through it all. The tattoo came out awesome, theres no way anyone would know it was a cover-up. Sean was great through the whole process, made sure I was happy with the design, the placement, the size, the colors, everything. Very professional and easy to work with. Even after he was done, hes been in contact to make sure it was healing properly. The whole experience with Sean from beginning to end has been great, I definitely recommend him.

I believe my overall experience with this tattoo shop was mediocre at best. Though we both couldnt of predicted that I would have allergic reaction to the Ink Katy uses. I think that when contacting your artist they shouldnt immediately have the attitude of, thats on you. As if I dont have several other tattoos and have magically messed up in some way with treating this tattoo. I even had to reach out to my other tattoo artist with the hey, what do I do about this. text because the only advice I was given after showing these pictures to Katy was, if it gets worse I go see a doctor. I wasnt even offered to fix it or a partial refund. And now I honestly have to walk around with my blown out peeling tattoo for 6 months until it heals. I paid over 150 for it and will have to get it either fixed or reworked. And honestly walking away from this, I just wanted a, Hey, Ill do line test next time. Or Ill look more into this. I guess Im just honestly disappointed if this is how the Ink scene is in Philly

Got a second tattoo from Katy! As always, they were amazing and I came home with a piece that fits me and I am absolutely in love with :) I really appreciate how Katy’s process ensures the tattoo is in the best place to fit with my body/existing tattoos. They go out of their way to provide a comforting environment/presence, and are just overall a super sweet person, and so easy to work with! The shop in general has a very chill vibe and everyone comes off very warm and inviting. Cannot recommend them enough and know I’ll be back soon! :)

Brianna did two of my tattoos and they are just spectacular. Super clean friendly space and such talented artists. I don’t think I’ll go to anyone else for another tattoo. The shop itself is super easy to get to and there’s really affordable parking less than a block away.

I LOVE my tattoo by Katy. The shop itself is a vibe, totally laid back and friendly. Everyone was accommodating and nice. Back to the tatto though! Katy did a great job prepping me for the experience (which was my first real tattoo experience) and was detailed on after care instructions. I felt totally chill and happy with the experience and will definitely be getting another piece done by Katy soon!

Chanda is the best: I went to her for a small hand tattoo and a coverup behind my ear after coming across her social media in February of this year. By April I already had two more large tattoos by her and booked four more. She is an excellent artist and a lot of fun to chat with, too. Philly has so many talented artists but Chanda is a standout for me. Everyone that works there is talented, polite, and welcoming. Really just a personal plus for me but I LOVE that all the artists I have met there are noticeably supportive of each other. My only concern ever when visiting this shop is that someone is going make me laugh while I’m getting tattooed. Awesome shop, amazing artists. Cheers!

Got my first tattoo done at eddies friday the 13th event! there were three flash sheets to chose from, but briannas art style fit mine the most. she was so sweet and walked me through everything i needed to know about getting a tattoo-- both before and after it was done. not only that, but she was also very accommodating to my requests. i was worried about getting a tattoo with poor, shake-y line work, but brianna did such a great job considering how busy all the artists were with such a big event going on and too many people to tattoo in such a short amount of time. all the artists there are pros at what they do and super professional. definitely recommend to anyone unsure but want to get a tattoo!!!

I am so happy and excited to show off my new cover up tattoo that was done today by Sean. I had the original tattoo done elsewhere back in December 2014 at a parlor that changed staff over the years and that I had 2 other tattoos done many years ago. I knew what I wanted, had the design sample but it was not done correctly and gave me immediate scarring in one area. I was so very disappointed and embarrasses as it was on the back of my neck. I started researching for a tattoo parlor that could give me a cover up tattoo. I came across Eddies in Chinatown and from their reviews and history I knew this had to be the place. I received excellent service from the time I first called and spoke to Brad, to when I walked in and met Nicki at the front counter to Sean who immediately came up to greet me and asked what they could do for me. The parlor environment is friendly and comfortable, its very clean and sterile even down to the bathroom...a girls gotta go! I am very happy with my new cover up tattoo. Sean gave me what I wanted, his advice and suggestions were on point and it came out beautifully. I highly recommend Philadelphia Eddies and will definitely return when I am ready for my fourth tattoo. Thank you Sean!

Let me first off stay that this tattoo parlor was exceptionally clean, which is a major plus! Sean was excellent! Extremely friendly,accommodating and informative as well. My tattoo came out beautiful,line work was flawless and answered all my questions. Above all, the process was quick and went smoothly. Ozzie was the nicest tattoo artist I have ever met. He was SO kind and extremely patient. He was very informational and willing to do anything to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. He is also incredible with thin line work— my tattoo looks so delicate and petite which is exactly what I wanted. I can’t thank him enough, Ozzie rocks.

One of the best experiences I have ever had and I have been getting tattooed for over 25 years by some of the industries top tattoo artists but when I got tattooed by Katy A.D. the experience was extraordinary and beyond comparison, the professionalism of everybody at the shop and how they make you feel right at home and Katy A.D. skills as an artist blew me out of the water I am overwhelmingly pleased with the outcome and I cant think of anybody more at this present time that I would highly recommend then Katy A.D.

Troy took months to come up with a drawing after we discussed what I wanted and agreed on a timeline. I stopped in the studio and contacted him a dozen times to be told he was working on it, or forgot it at home, or had to go away for the weekend. Now he no longer answers when I contact him. If he knew he couldnt do the work we agreed to, he should have never taken my deposit and told me he couldnt do the work.Im out $50 and no tattoo.

That did a great tattoo in honor of my partner who was killed using his ashes. So now he is always with me embedded into my skin.

Had the best experience here with the sweetest of artists Katy, she was patient and informative and lovely to talk to. In the perfect spot for close parking and good food and the overall energy in the shop was great!

Ive been going to Ozzie for at least 10 years. He is THE BEST. You give him an idea and he runs with it. When he shows you his final drawing of your idea, you end up with your jaw on the ground. Such a great artist and such a great dude 👍

Great place, very clean. We went in as a walk-in to get a small logo tattoo and Troy took care of us. For gen. Info they have a shop min. of 60 bucks and only take cash.

This place is great. Troy has completed about one quarter of my sleeve so far, and he has been very creative and easy to discuss ideas with. Worth every penny.
