The place is not safe and they are THIEVES. Look for another tattoo place.My husband bought me a gift card from this place and after thinking hard about which tattoo i want, I came a week before the deadline to utilize my gift card. One guy, apparently the artist said that he is going on vacation for two weeks, and that I cannot utilize the gift card anymore. He was very aggressive and intimidating so I left. I tried to call the business the second day to say that I want to come and get my tattoo done with another artist and they said that I cannot. Only this artist who is on vacation can do it.When I said that the artist was aggressive and intimidating they closed the phone.I really encourage people to stay away from this place. I am so pissed they also stole 100$ from us. I never had such an experience with any business in the city. Absolutely horrible.

Frank did 6 of my 7 tattoos. He is patient and a perfectionist. He wants to make sure size and placement are what I want. Hes a good conversationalist. I love each one of his!

30 years ago, I walked into this shop as an 18 year old that just got out of Boot Camp. I had been stationed at the Philadelphia Navy Ship Yard, and my first night out on my own…. I found Philadelphia Eddies. After hanging out with a few of the artists and customers for a couple of hours I made an appointment with Chris Henry, who the very next day gave me my first tattoo.In my time in the Navy stationed in Philadelphia, I got 3 tattoos from Philadelphia Eddies.Last week I made it back to Philadelphia for the first time since I was stationed there. While I was excited about going to Eddies to get some ink, I was nervous about it because I knew it would be completely different people than I knew 30 years ago. I called both locations on 4th street, and I was really disappointed with the response that I got from the other shop a few doors down that flys the Philadelphia Eddies flag, they were short, and seemed put out to even talk to me about what I wanted done, like they just didn’t care.I decided to stop into this shop just to reminisce a little. There we were meet by Kelly, who was AWESOME. She took the time to hear my stories about my history in the shop, and was absolutely interested in our business. She introduced us to Jason, who did a new tattoo for me. We were so impressed with these two that my Girlfriend had Jason do one for her too.Thank you both for making our experience the best possible.

Would recommend 100% respectful and honest would be the best way to describe everyone . Got my tattoo by i think his name was andy but if not im sorry. Best artist i have let tattoo on me. Thank you for the hospitality.

Walked in and three of us got tattoos by Andrew. He did a fantastic job and we are very happy.

I went yesterday & had some work done. Depending on your budget they can be more on the pricer sides. But overall I love my tattoo. And my color came out really good. My tattoo artist was very sweet and understanding which is a plus! I highly recommend this shop.

Terrible customer Service and high prices!!I went there today 7-11-21 to get new tattoo and the girl was rude and raise the price from $280 to $400 because she work there as a subcontractor so try to raise the price on me . When I go before to this place I was quoted $280 but now she say that the price for today will be $400 to get better commission .Please read this before goin in and make you are not getting ripped off by them .. Good Luck!

Frank scam me out of 360$…..I came in to get my tattoo on my neck re colored and some extra added and he colored in the rose and told me come back he would finish my tattoo the following week. I came in and he act like he didn’t remember! Scammers and I will take it up with the boss!
