A clean and welcoming studio. I had the pleasure of working with Dan twice. After a great first experience, I was anxious to schedule a second tattoo. So anxious in fact, that when he did his birth flower flash event, I booked it from the hospital one day after giving birth! He was also very accommodating when I had to reschedule my appt. Highly recommend!

Loved the guest artist Luis. Did an excellent job and made sure I was happy and comfortable throughout the sitting.

I booked with Katie for my first ever tattoos, and it was an incredible experience! she made me feel so safe and welcome. She listened to what I wanted and also gave great advice regarding size and placement. I had such a fun time that I’ve already booked another session! I highly recommend this shop and booking with Katie!

Ive gotten about half a dozen tattoos at Wild Heart - mostly from Dan but one from Maribeth as well - and I cant recommend the shop enough. Its bright and clean and calm. Theyre very professional from the booking process to getting tattooed and Ive only ever had really great experiences. All of the artists are nothing but kind, welcoming, and crazy skilled. Dans finer line tattoos age beautifully and heal like a dream. Maribeth was also so cool and her shading is incredible. Ive been eyeing up some of Tanners work too. Looking forward to getting back in there soon. Definitely recommend checking out all of their artists work!

I went to Maribeth for my first tattoo and had an amazing experience!! She was so understanding of any of my worries and made me feel so comfortable. I couldn’t have asked for a better first time experience! Super nice, patient, thorough, funny, etc. Highly recommend :))

This is probably one of the most chill places to get a tattoo. I got one from Dan, his work is amazing! Plus he has the most soothing voice. I haven’t gone to anyone else there but I don’t think you could go wrong with literally anyone there. I highly recommend this place.

I had such a great time here getting a tattoo from Maribeth! They were amazing and made the whole process really easy and enjoyable. I booked an appointment with them on instagram and then chose from their flash when I arrived! The tattoo was quick and turned out perfect! Definitely recommend checking this studio out! ☺️

Got a beautiful tattoo from Cassandra ‘s (@cassandratattoos) Halloween flash. The studio is beautiful, bright, and meticulous. I will say, it looks like maybe they changed locations since the pictures on google didn’t match with the actual location on Frankford (it’a not a corner building). You can also park on the street for 3.5 hours. Cassandra was very kind and thorough with her work. Highly recommend!

I got a tattoo from Dan at Wildheart. It was a great experience. I reached out by email and scheduled online. Place was really nice. Design was lovely. I enjoyed the whole experience.

Jackson (goatnap) posted he had an opening for the next day and I snagged it instantly. He was so friendly and chill and made the experience so comfortable! I’ve only been to two other tattoo artists in my life and he was definitely the best. Everything was clean the tattoo was perfect and the entire experience was just great! Can’t recommend him enough.

The artist cancelled my appointment/stole my deposit after I confirmed I was coming the day before because I hadnt confirmed a second time within 24 hours, which I had no chance of doing or even knowing that was wanted. You would think confirming once the day before was enough. I had previously gotten a tattoo from another artist there who acted weird towards me because I asked for the tattoo to be accurate to what it is depicting. I would recommend spending your money at a place that doesnt treat people poorly and keep their deposits without rendering services because they felt like it.

Literally had the most amazing experience ever! My artist (Jackson - @goatnap on Instagram) was so amazing and eased all of my “first tattoo nerves”. He made the process so easy and listened to every thing I wanted and made it 1000x better. Will definitely be going back for more in the future! His detail work on such a small piece is truly incredible!

Dan Anthony and his crew of artist are amazing! The tattoos are precise, well priced, and overall an immaculate vibe. Definitely a great place to get tatted in Philly.

When it comes to tattoo shops in the Fishtown/Northern Liberties areas go, Wild Heart Tattoo is by far at the top of the list. Both Dan and Ryan are experienced tattooers that truly know, understand, and love their craft: Tattooing.I have not yet been tattooed by Ryan but Dan has tattooed me 6(!) times. Thats more than any of the other people that have tattooed me. Dan is not only quick and very technically proficient as a tattooer but he provides amazing bedside manner. He is easy to talk to, he sets a great atmosphere to be tattooed, and hes just a genuinely nice person. If I still lived in Philadelphia I would still e getting tattooed by him and probably also Ryan.

Both Dan and Ryan have tattooed me a bunch of times! They are humble artists who are excellent in their craft. The shop is very welcoming to all walks of life and has a calm atmosphere. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Dan is an amazing tattoo artist. I showed him some ideas of what I was looking to do and he gave me exactly what I invisioned. The shop is cozy and very clean.
