Halo Piercing and Fine Jewelry

Ive been going to Halo Piercing for years—four to be exact—and after my experience today, I won’t be returning. I’m really disappointed with how I was treated as a customer who has spent hundreds of dollars with Halo on piercings & jewelry.Today was a Saturday, and I received an email from Halo reminding me to come in and change out the bar on my ear piercings. I’ve been considering returning because I wanted a new nose stud, but I’ve changed my nose jewelry three or four times in the past since I never liked what I got there. Despite that, I’ve generally had good experiences and trusted them.When I arrived, there were two people ahead of me in the shop. I mentioned that I was a walk-in, looking for new jewelry, and might potentially get pierced today, but I was definitely there to change out the bar in my ear piercings & my nose ring. Several other walk-ins came in after me, and they were helped right away by the receptionist, who guided them to get pierced. Meanwhile, I waited for around 30 to 40 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me.By the time the owner came over, I was already a bit annoyed but still remained polite because I wanted help with my jewelry. The owner told me they prioritize appointments but could assist me. I pointed out that I’d been waiting for 30 minutes without anyone offering assistance, and that several other walk-ins had been taken care of before me. The owner claimed those people were appointments, but I knew for a fact they were walk-ins because I heard them say so when they arrived and asked for ear piercings.I believe I was overlooked because I wasn’t certain about getting a new piercing. Additionally, I didn’t appreciate how the owner tried to make me doubt what I clearly heard regarding the other customers. It was hurtful to be ignored for nearly 30 minutes, and instead of simply apologizing and offering to help, the owner chose to go back & forth with me. I was shocked that after all the money I’ve spent there, this is how I was treated. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere, as there are plenty of piercing shops in Arizona.

Very clean shop with tons of body jewelry. I had to replace my nose ring, because I loss my old one. The young lady who helped me at the counter was very welcoming. She presented to me plenty of options for me to select from. If I happen to be in that area again, I wouldn’t mind stopping by and exploring some of the other options and services they have to offer.

I’m not one to leave to reviews however this experience should be shared, I researched Halo and loved there pricing/jewelry. I drove 45 minutes away to get my double helix piercing that I was very excited for! I’m an African American female, I walked into the store and was not greeted by a single person for half an hour. I approached the counter, I viewed jewelry, I even sat down and still no one greeted me. I was beginning to gaslight myself in wondering if I was misunderstanding the fact that I wasn’t welcomed!! I watched as 3 people came into the store and were greeted, asked about piercings etc. I watched them blatantly ignore my presence and acknowledge others walking in. This shop isn’t that big; I was very clearly a customer waiting for help !!The piercer was amazing! He made me feel so comfortable and I love my results. HOWEVER the front desk staff ( especially the woman with the red hair) need better customer service training. This experience may sound small… but imagine driving 45 mins somewhere only to not be greeted by ANYONE at all. Like not one person said hey, how are you? Do you need help? What are you looking for? I even waited for the store to calm down and even when I was the only person in the lobby…they still said nothing to me until I said something. This didn’t feel good at all! Please do better

Very happy with my experience here! First of all, the customer service from Vanessa was EVERYTHING! She was very sweet and kind! 4th times a charm...I was able to get my Monroe piercing done by Lauren, she was super awesome! I swear this was my best piercing yet, thanks to her! I definitely will return in the future and recommend others to come here!Thank you ladies! ✨✨

I came in on Tuesday to get my septum pierced I was super nervous. I had the pleasure of being pierced by Frank He was absolutely awesome.Calmed my nerves explained everything in detail, each step as he took it. I feel very fortunate I was a walk in. I would highly recommend him to anyone.He knows his stuff. #TEAMFRANK

Eric is an amazing piercer- super friendly, knowledgeable, and great at his craft. Easily the best piercing experience I’ve had. The people at the front desk were also very informed and friendly and did not make me feel rushed as I selected jewelry

I wanted multiple lobes and a cartilage piercing and had some questions before I booked. Called Halo and they were super friendly and helpful. I booked same day and got in with Ricky. I cant recommend him highly enough. Between his relaxing personality and his professionalism, my experience could not have possibly been any better. The gal up front who helped me pick out jewelry was super kind and extremely helpful as well. Just an overall excellent shop with lovely people. Ill definitely be back for more jewelry and another piercing.

Not only did they overcharge me for a simple Medusa piercing, but they failed to inform me of additional fees for adjusting the jewelry once my piercing had healed. It is absolutely ridiculous that they charge a fee for “fitting” and then expect customers to pay for a new piece of jewelry on top of that. This kind of deceitful behavior is what gives piercing shops a bad reputation.Furthermore, their lack of transparency regarding the need for a smaller bar after the initial swelling is just downright shady. I was made to feel like it was all included in the initial cost, when in reality it was just a sneaky way to squeeze more money out of unsuspecting customers. It is clear that Halo Piercing is more concerned with making a quick buck than providing quality service to their clients.Overall, I would not recommend Halo Piercing to anyone looking to get body modifications. Their unethical business practices and exorbitant prices make them a prime example of what is wrong with the industry. Save yourself the frustration and money, and find a reputable piercer who values honesty and customer satisfaction.‼️EDIT‼️: Honestly, I said what I said. Nothing you wrote will change the fact that you’re shady and people see it. You are overpriced and people will find better. And you are a patronizing jerk. You and your team are weirdos and have issues with people of color. So yeah. Have the day you deserve.

Went in to have my ears pierced. I haven’t worn earrings in 30 years so I figured I’d need fresh piercings. Turns out the holes were still there and just needed to be stretched. They could have not said anything and charged me the full price for piercings but they didn’t. I was very impressed with their integrity. The shop was clean, the people friendly. Overall, an awesome experience.

I took my son Lucian to Halo Piercing and Jewelry for a birthday septum piercing. They gave us great service and thwy have a beautiful and clean store that they professional run. They are Covid-19 responsible and very careful to make sure proper sanitation techniques are taken, it was was a stress free environment and I recommend them highly. They require a $20.00 deposit which can be applied to the piercing and they provide you with after care instructions.

Had a great experience getting my septum pierced by Frank. Everyone was professional, kind and friendly. Will definitely be back for future work!

Came to gift our daughter a birthday surprise that she wanted. Called and asked all necessary information because we were going to have to drive 40 minutes one way came down, walked in had our daughter super excited and told us that they could not do piercing because we did not have birth certificate. never once was told on the phone call that needed birth certificate. Had state IDs for all three of us and still told us could not be done misinformed wasted time. Wasted 40 minutes one way and 40 minutes back complete waste of time complete waste of time misinformation. I asked specifically what paperWorkWas needed for my daughter!!!!! Over the phone he okayed a state Id. Said that was more than enough! Got turned away when we got there.the guys we spoke to did not even come out and apologize, even when we asked for him. I do not recommend this place. Shady.

One, this place has very unique jewelry it’s so different and eye catching. Two, the people here are professional, friendly, and can truly inform you on your piercing/s, the after care and more.Tish, Ricky, and Frank are awesomeeee! Ricky did my vertical hood and removed both of the dermals out my face and Frank did my tongue. Tish is just the coolest lady I’ve met thus far. Anyway, I could go on for days. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

I had an amazing experience at Halo! The wonderful ladies at the front helped me pick my jewelry and answered all my questions! Everything was super sterile and they take wonderful precautions when it comes to COVID. My piercer, Frank, helped guide me through the process and eased any fear i had. Absolutely an amazing piercing studio.

Halo has been my go too for over 18 years. I recently took my daughter here to get pierced because they are the only ones I trust. They specialize in body piercing ONLY so you know you are in good hands. They are sanitary and very informative. Their selection of jewelry is diverse there is something for everyone and every style. Highly recommend.

Dropped in to Halo the other day just to ask a few questions & ended up getting the piercing I was there to ask about. Gabby that greeted me & Eric (the viking, but spells it with a ‘C’) that pierced me were great. They were friendly, professional & very patient & accommodating to my needs.I definitely recommend Halo for your piercings needs. I know I’ll be back for any piercings I can think of & for some of that adorable jewelry I saw in the cases when mine heals.By the way, my piercing turned out great!

Incredible little shop. Great customer service, got me in quickly with no appointment to save a fresh nose piercing that fell out. (I did not go to this shop for the original piercing.) I forget my piercers name, but he was incredibly professional and did a great job fitting it so that it would not fall out again. They also have a large amount of beautiful and unique jewelry.

I am super pleased with the experience I had this afternoon at Halo! I had another piercing shop give me a really strange consultation where they told me my ear wasn’t fit for an industrial piercing. Not only were they able to do the piercing for me, but they were able to explain to my why the other shop was wrong and make me feel confident in my decision to go through with the poke! All piercings vary but this industrial bar was minimal pain with the bigger pinch being the second piercing. I will definitely be returning and referring my own clients to this shop.

Was in the area and found this place! AMAZING EXPERIENCE! The people at the counter were super sweet and helpful and the piercer was so fantastic! I didn’t get his name but he was very kind, patient, detailed, and professional! I don’t live near by BUT I will definitely be back for other piercings! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Everyone here is awesome and helpful! They have a great selection of jewelry and whoever is working the counter always has been nice and super helpful! I have been here a couple of times, (so far), and have got a few piercings by Sheena, (although she is off being a travel piercer.) Sheena was so sweet and gentle, and most importantly made me feel at ease with every session! I would recommend Halo Piercing to everyone, and I cant wait to come back!

My nostril piercing here went rlly well so I decided to come back for my septum. It was pierced completely at an angle through the cartilage :-( it was uneven and has caused me pain for nearly a year now. I tried to give it time and let it heal and hoped maybe it would stop hurting but it just never did. In pictures and in person it looked so lopsided, I finally went and got it removed at another shop and they confirmed it was through cartilage and very uneven. The entire appointment I felt like he was very rushed and not really focused in on my experience, but more so on who was the next appointment. Little upsetting, I’m sure it was just a bad day maybe but I can’t say I’d recommend going :(

The whole Halo team was seriously awesome - I was impressed from the jump with how professional and helpful they were. Frank is especially awesome and I could not love my septum piercing more. He spent extra time ensuring the jewelry I picked out would flow well together and that I was comfortable and confident through out the process. I can’t recommend this place enough. 11/10 stars.

Frank did a buddy piercing for my girl friend and I in December 2020. I had my traigus and daith and my friend had her septum done. The shop was super clean and had great covid regulations. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The jewelry selection at halo is unmatched! They have a wide range in every price range and style. Make sure you book an appointment. It was steadily busy the whole time we were there and from start to finish we were there about 1.5 hours, which was longer than we anticipated. Love our piercings, will be going back to Frank/halo for more once these are healed!

You need to have photo ID to buy jewelry! Since when do you Need to have ID to buy earrings! This store sucks. I will never do business with halo again anywhere. Consumers beware !!! To your responce.IT WAS MADE VERY CLEAR NO PIERCINGS JUST JEWELRY. APOLOGIES ARE LIKE BIDEN WORTHLESS !!!

Lauren is absolutely amazing. She did my daith piercing back in March, and it healed nicely. Just replaced the original hoop with the new gold hoop, and I’m still in love!! (other piercings were existing)

Long wait even if you call ahead. Staff seemed rushed. Piercing came out good but pretty overpriced compared to a lot of shoppes

I went to get my re-septum pierced and turns out the hole was still open. They refunded my money without me asking because I didn’t actually need the piercing even though I took up time on their schedule and still receive services from them. I bought new jewelry but still that was nice of them.

The shop was very clean and everyone who worked there was friendly and professional! Eric did a great job with my nose piercing; quick and easy. Would recommend to anyone looking for a piercing!

Overpriced jewelery for hipsters. Paid $46 for these ⅝ wood plugs for my girlfriend. I understand they want to take there time with customers to help them out, but it would help if prices were actually on the jewelery so I didnt have to wait 15 minutes just to ask about prices. Then they have to go flip throw there book and search for the jewelery to tell you how much. Seems like a really poor system.

Got my nose pierced here about 2 weeks ago. Easily the most painless and smoothest piercing Ive gotten.They were professional and informative from the beginning to the end and assured me that, should I have issues (I havent) that I can absolutely come to them and theyll help.That kind of care and consideration isnt something you come across a lot. I can not express how great this place was.

Nate and Frank are the absolute best. Nate was very humourous, knowledgeable and his customer service was excellent. Frank was very polite & gentle during my double hoop, nose ring piercing. Thanks to Frank being so quick & gentle, I barely felt anything.

After searching for a place to get a second nostril hoop, I booked an appointment at Halo! The booking process was very easy and assured my time slot instead of a walk-in, but they are very accommodating to walk ins. The front desk workers were so incredibly kind and helpful! They asked questions and knew exactly what I wanted based on my answers. My piercer was also so kind. He sterilized a sample hoop to help me determine the EXACT spot I wanted my second hoop to be pierced. Once we decided, he cleaned everything and marked the spot. Everything was completely sanitized and he kept changing out his gloves as he cleaned my nose, prepared the items, and pierced my nose. He also changed my current jewlery to match the new hoop! 10/10 experience and Im so excited to go back in the future.

Three perfect piercings! Frank my piercer was personable, professional and knowledgeable, for sure. Since it had been decades since my last piercings, I was a bit nervous. But he quickly put me at ease with his warm style, certified skills and clear, step-by-step explanations. His room was calming, everything was sterilized, sealed and opened in front of you. Franks hands were gloved throughout. I was surrounded by cleanliness and the chair was comfy.Frank marked my ears and had me approve the placement. During each piercing the ouch factor was surprisingly minimal and totally doable.The shop in its entirety is super clean and loaded with excellent jewelry to choose from for all types of piercings. The woman who helped me choose my gems, knew exactly what she was doing and where to direct me. She was very patient while I flip flopped all over the place. I left totally impressed with how organized everything and everyone was.Finally, Halo came highly recommended and definitely didnt disappoint in any way. Be warned...I will be back!

Halo is a wonderfully clean and well run establishment. Worth every dollar. Staff are friendly and helpful to all age groups. Quite a gem in uptown Phoenix. Wade is professional, experienced and made my ear lobe piercing such a smooth process. He is my go to guy if ever I need of further services. I am a very satisfied customer. I will recommend Halo to all my friends and family. 👍

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place. I booked an appointment for curated ear piercings, but there was no consultation or curating, so that was disappointing. The actual piercings are good, well done and nothing got infected or weird. Ended up getting 4 ear piercings- came out to $500 (thats fine, I got nice pieces) But I had 1 of the pieces of jewelry fall out, and had to pay $10 to get it put back in, fell out again, had to pay another $50 for a new piece of jewelry and for them to put it back in, and it fell out AGAIN, and they wont cover another piece. After spending $550, the fact they wont cover one piece is insane. I have so many piercings and have NEVER had jewelry fail this much, nor have such unhelpful customer service. Im disappointed to say the least.

This is the best and most cleanest place ever. I came here for my very first face piercing a year ago and seeing how clean the store was and how kind the staff is i felt so safe and comfortable. since then Ive come back for several piercings including an industrial and septum. i’ve even brought my younger sister for her own piercings and they were so patient with her it was great. definitely the best place to get piercings for sure. the piercers so super chill and always so kind and patient i always feel welcome and safe here. if you need to go somewhere to get a piercing definitely come here.

I have been shopping at this halo location for over a decade and have spent thousands and thousands of dollars here. Last week I spent $600 on new earrings and this morning I returned to get one of those earrings retensioned. I also requested 4 O-rings for earrings I purchased there because the earrings are not staying flat against my skin. The employee re-tensioned the earring and then out of the kindness of his heart, gave me two free O-rings and then said he would need to charge me five dollars apiece for the two other O-rings. Mind you you can buy a huge package of these O-rings for five dollars online. I’m not sure how why or when the customer service or common sense has gone downhill at this expensive establishment but they just lost a customer - buyer beware.Update: the employee gave me the incorrect size of the O-Ring. Not sure if this was intentional or out of ignorance.

The was clean and well stocked. The lady at the counter was helpful, quick and efficient and helped me pick out the most beautiful earrings. Frank pierced my ears. He was super nice and personable. It was a great experience and I will go back for any other piercing related needs I have. Thanks so much for providing a great experience for me!

Very clean, extremely nice, supportive staff. The girl at the front desk was super nice and helpful. The piercer, JD, was amazing and talked through each step (we had multiple people that day). He answered all our questions, made sure we were comfortable before starting, and provided a safe space for our visit.

Came in and got my nose pierced today, everyone was kind and professional, while prices where a bit high I was happy to pay it for the good experience. Frank was very nice and answered the questions I had for him. Bree was also helpful for the couple questions I had about filling out the paperwork I had before hand. Over all I was very happy and gladly will be returning to them as well as recommending them to anyone I know that wants a piercing.My one complaint would be the website could use some updating, certain pages seemed to contradict each other, including if they were doing nostril piercings or not as well as the time frame you should eat before coming in.

I had a daith piercing done by Frank 3 weeks ago and it was a great experience!! The shop is really cool inside and they have tons of jewelry options. The woman at the front was very professional and helpful. Frank was super professional, ultra kind to me, and he took his time explaining everything before he did the piercing. After the piercing, he carefully went through all the aftercare with me and he made sure I understood everything thoroughly. The piercing itself didnt hurt at all and I have had zero issues with it. I LOVE IT!!! I would absolutely go back and I would recommend Halo Precision Piercing LLC to friends and family.

I got my 2nd lobe piercings done here a few months ago by Lauren. She was so polite, knowledgeable and gentle. Ill admit I was really nervous but honestly her skill made it so that it didnt hurt at all! She did a fantastic job. Just last week I came back to get some jewelry switched out which Frank did for me, and he did an excellent job as well. Ive gone to Halo for three piercings and I have several friends that have gone here also. All three times Frank was my piercer. Hes super knowledgeable in every aspect of piercing. I went in to get my nose pierced and to buy a new septum ring. Before my piercing he changed my previous septum jewelry which was a super big help. Ive also had Vanessa at the front desk help me with jewelry for all of my piercings. She seems to really care about putting the right jewelry in and takes the time to make sure youre happy. The jewelry they sell can be quite expensive, but they tend to be very accommodating on how much youre looking to spend. Vanessa showed me similar options to what style I liked, but a ton cheaper. All in all, every dollar Ive spent here has been well worth it! Definitely will continue coming to Halo for my piercing needs!I wanted to give an update as I went to Halo for a couple more piercings recently. Vanessa helped me pick out my jewelry yet again. This time looking for a nose stud and an industrial barbell. Vanessa definitely took note of the existing jewelry I was wearing and made suggestions based on the styles I had on. I was again pierced by Frank who was phenomenal as always! Time and time again I will recommend Halo to friends and family.

Every. single. time. i have to interact with halo i have had an issue. i am new to getting piercings; i’ve gotten 3 there and i’ve had a couple of times where they came loose or i needed other services rendered. either they couldn’t get me in, or they didn’t have the jewlery that i needed, or whatnot, every single time i am told something different by the staff, and am treated very rudely, it’s difficult to get in with them and frankly, their services are not worth the premium. Go to HTC! they have a lovely team of piercers and a way better environment, and have accommodated me even though i didn’t get my original piercings there with all of the help i need. all of my experiences having to interact with Halo have been net negative.

I had a really great experience at Halo last week. I got both of my third lobes and a conch piercing. The staff was friendly and willing to help (especially when I changed my mind about what jewelry I wanted last minute) and Lauren was so so nice and clearly very skilled at what she was doing. I loved Halo so much that Ive already made an appointment next week for more! Would recommend this place to anybody.

If you are even slightly Covid Sensitive while trying to get a new piercing these people are amazingly thorough. Everything was clean, plenty of questions were asked and everyone there seemed to be as sterile as possible. Practically surgeon level.Frank (My new piercer) was very laid back and informative even before my questions were asked. And the process was extremely quick and easy.As a heads up they are currently Appointment Only in order to properly social distance people but definitely worth it.

The employees are all friendly. The piercer saw me walk behind my husband and sit down in the room and he said, If youre gonna be in here you need to stay seated and not talk. We chuckled on the inside. Although that may sound harsh, he didnt want any distractions because it could be bad on both ends of piercing and receiving. He did an amazing job piercing my husbands nose. We will be back for more!!

Been here multiple times and I always go to Frank. Straight to the point, friendly, and painless. Honestly the best guy. Just got my nose redone today (was pierced by someone else a long time ago but had to be taken out) and he worked his magic as usual. Halo is bright, clean, and is following guidelines given by the state and CDC for COVID. I recommend them without reservation to anyone who is considering going for their first piercing or their next. You will not be disappointed.

Ive gotten 4 different piercings on different regions of my body from this place and this place only. Sterile technique is always provided as well as cleanliness, great service and more. Frank has done all of my piercings and hes answered all of my questions. Hes a very lax and calming person and hell make you feel at ease and will even discourse in general conversation. Hes pretty patient too and wont rush you in any way. Hes the main reason I dont go anywhere else.

Although my piercer was incredible the receptionist in the front was disturbingly rude and unprofessional. When arriving she greeted us with an attitude and rushed us while we chose our jewelry. While paying I asked her a question about purchasing another jewelry for a piercing that was previously done wrong by someone else and she dramatically sighed, reassured me that the piercer could replace my jewelry then rushed e to chose one and pay. Even though I apologized for the inconvenience she seated us with an attitude and ugly looks. While we waited another receptionist asked her a question and when she answered she threw keys at the wall in an angry manner. The place was empty and she was being overly loud and dramatic, pacing and sighing loudly, almost like she wanted everyone to know she had a problem with someone. When my piercing was done and my other jewelry couldn’t be replaced the piercer led me to the front to get a refund for the purchased jewelry. When I went to the receptionist’s desk she began sighing and clicking her computer in an angry manner. She then asked me for my receipt and when I gave her the wrong one she began raising her voice at me and when I gave her the right one she snatched it out of my hand. She claimed to give me a refund of around $40 but I’m still waiting for it to go into my bank account. I understand it wasn’t hers or the piercers fault that the jewelry didn’t fit but I had explained it to her since the beginning and at no instance was I rude to her or say anything out of line. On the receipt it said her name was Irene. I will never return, Irene has no customer service and is an extremely rude person.

Vanessa helped me at the counter. She was great and put up with me asking questions about jewelry that had nothing to do with the piercing I was there for. Frank did my conch piercing. He was very nice and he made sure I knew what he was doing throughout the piercing process. I will definitely be going back.

Had a great experience at Halo. The shop was extremely careful due to Covid-19 and took precautions to minimize infection risk. The two green haired ladies at the front were super nice, helped pick out my jewelry and got all of the paperwork and screening done. They made sure to explain every step of the process and it was a very professional atmosphere. Lauren was my piercer and she was so sweet and she made my visit so painless. I would highly recommend Halo to anyone looking for a great piercing experience.

Got my septum pierced here today & highly recommend! Everyone is very kind and has your safety and comfort in mind. Lauren was my piercer and she did an amazing job explaining and being patient through my anxiety. The piercing itself barely hurt and looks fantastic. Cant wait to go back!

This is my first time being to a genuine piercing place. My only other experience being claries when I was little. This place is very nice. As soon as you walk in you can tell how clean, spacious, and open it is. The staff were very welcoming and calming. The atmosphere was relaxing and not rushed. My piercer was a very fun and knowledge woman. I would love to go back for another piercing again!

Very clean and professional. This was my first ear piercing. My guy explained everything that was going to happen and let me know what he was working on (sterilizing and changing gloves) then answered any questions I had afterwards. The jewelry selection is great also. Lots of different styles for different tastes. Pricy but worth it.

The absolute best place to get your piercings done! The place is 100% clean and everyone is so sweet! In October of 2020, I was feeling bold and wanted to finally get my nose pierced. After the decision of wanting it, I immediately booked an appointment with Lauren, who is absolutely amazing and will continue booking with her for more! Lauren helped me through the slight pain and kept me completely calm through the entire process. Now being 2021, I decided to get my 2nd lobe piercings done! I booked with Lauren once again, who is the absolute sweetest! She makes the process go by so easily, especially for someone who can’t stand needles! Will forever keep coming back to Halo Piercings and continue to recommend this place to family and friends!

I wish I could clone this shop and continue to go to them in Florida. Frank has done several piercings for me, including two cartilage piercings, stretching my septum, and nipple piercings. Heard great things and was super excited to get new jewelry here, but was disappointed when they didnt have the sizes for my conch in gold. Proceeded to buy a simple gold hoop for my septum, only to find out after I paid $100+ and they put it in my nose, that I could not take it out myself. Overall, they had beautiful jewelry but were very limited depending on your gauge size. Would have loved a heads up that I had to get it professionally removed, wouldnt have bought it since I have to take out/hide my septum periodically.Probably a lot more compatible jewelry options if you get pierced there originally.

A TOTAL waste of time!!I scheduled a buddy piercing with my sister a week before our planned visit. We chose the first appointment of the day & the online booking process stated it was a 40min appointment. We arrived at 10:55am. They open at 11am, which is when our appointment was for. The first appointment of the day. We went through the check in process & filled out all of the paperwork which took about 10min. They collected our information 10min later. Already 1/2 of our appointment time gone. Okay, we’re patient so we sat & waited & waited & waited. We watched person after person get called back & even leave!! We paid (& were asked about leaving a tip) before being seen & still we waited. FINALLY, we were called back & the piercer was very nice. She talked us through the whole process & made sure we were happy with them. That doesn’t make up for the fact that we didn’t end up getting out of there until after 2pm & spent hundreds of dollars. Keep in mind, I got two lobe piercings. Nothing fancy. One rose gold & the other cubic zirconia. They even charge you for the post! Separate from the piercing & the jewelry, which I did not see in the pricing list online. These are why I believe my visit was a below average experience & rate it as such. I will be going elsewhere for my future piercing needs. Very disappointed.

I got my nipples pierced here and since the first day one of them was crooked. I called to tell them about it but they said they just needed to heal. I followed throughly with the after care. One year later, it’s still crooked and neither of them have healed. Upsetting…

The ladies at the front was very helpful as soon as I was at the door. Frank my piercer was just an outstanding guy, very down to earth. If your nervous his demeanor will def help you feel at ease. There was no pain at all when he pierced my nostril, I would recommend him time and time again.

I will always come to this piercing studio. Lauren is such a delightful and very skillful lady. Little to no pain on all of my piercings I have gotten. 10/10 would recommend and they have the MOST beautiful selection of jewelry. 67 for my nose piercing in all. The place was clean and super covid prepared. Everyone was wearing masks and we had to stand 6 feet apart from other customers. The jewelry was all gorgeous and the piercing was over with within 30 seconds. I am super pleased with the cleanliness of this business. I saw some pretty gross places in Phoenix this past week where the piercer was holding the piercing in the bare hands. Keep in mind her hands were visibly brown. Not this place clean, professional, fast, and reasonably priced. Oh and you have to make an appointment and wear a mask.

During both trips, she made sure to show me that the equipment was sterile and talked me through the process of getting the piercing done. I went for my first ever piercing (lobes). Everyone was professional and my piercer (Lauren) was so awesome and knowledgeable! I do wish it was a little less pricey, but I understand that this is a professional parlor so the standards are higher. The products are quality and they dont use a lot of the same methods typically used in mall or other retail run piercing places.

My best friend and I were getting piercings for the first time and were very nervous. Anna was funny, professional, quick, and helped us relaxed. Took cousin for her piercings. Nose and belly button. She was a walk in. She was taken in about a hour. The piercings were quick and according to cousin no pain. Just felt like a shot. They provided info needed to care for it. She already wants to go back for more!

I have had 9 piercings done at Halo. Either Ana or Frank have done the piercings. They are both very nice and very professional. Each of them explains what they are going to do ahead of time. The shop is very neat and clean with a large selection of jewelry. I cant say enough positive things about Halo and I have already recommended them several times. I had a great experience here! I have a couple dermal piercings (got them pierced somewhere out of town) that were giving me some trouble. Ashley spent so much time with me and really made me feel at ease about how to care for them. The store is beautiful and classy and so is the jewelry and staff. I also bought a beautiful ring for my rook piercing and Ashley put it in for me. I will definitely be back!!

I give this place 5 stars due to a couple of things. 1. Its very clean and the staff put priority on contact precautions. 2. I saw a older staff woman give good advice to a young woman to take all this slow and figure out what you want to do gradually. Just dont jump into the deep end first off. 3. As a parent I appreciate the thoroughness that they put on verification of how old and whos kid is getting the work done on. Better than Claires by far and the staff are super knowledgeable about everything pierce wise.

Ive been getting pierced by the lovelies at HALO for probably at least 10 years. I wouldnt go anywhere else. I love the selection of jewelry and have been pierced by everyone there including Kelsey today! The front desk staff is knowledgeable and very patient. I watched them deal with a set of customers today that had me biting my tongue but they were able to remain professional and courteous. Highly recommend!

I really love this places variety of jewelry and the staff was wonderful! Ive gotten 3 piercings from this place. However, one was my septum, which the piercer placed it in the wrong spot, which they shouldve know/said sometime about it. It was through the cartilage of my nose, near the bottom of my canal where I wouldnt be able to flip up the jewelry. After being in incredible pain for 4 weeks, I had to take it out and get it redone.

Not only did both Nilla and the other girl ( I forget her name) show me every piece I was Interested in, they went over everything with me. What I needed, what I wanted, they listened to me, they showed me things I hadn’t thought of doing. They were so patient and helpful as I was being super indecisive. They were able to show me the perfect pieces for what I needed and kept it in my budget. I never felt pressured, and I never felt like I was making them annoyed. I went to Halo just to have my jewelry change for my nostril and for my 2 Tragus and I ended up paying $286.70 in total for the jewelry and service super pricey luckily I had enough that day! That’s why I’m giving it 4 stars other then that super clean and professional! Lauren was awesome!

Ive had mixed experiences here. First time the piercer was rude AF and i left and had much better experience at HTC. But i went back (because they open earlier) and had a much better experience. Everyone i interacted with was super nice and helpful. So i would consider coming back in the future.

Its been about 8yrs since Ive been here. I had to be re-pierced and this was the only spot I trusted to go to, through word of mouth. I had also picked out a pair of custom earrings that were given to me as a surprise gift from an ex a month later, which I still own.I visited their website and see theyre still carrying custom jewelry and making even more exciting pieces. Im definitely going to take the ride into Phoenix to find something new and ask questions about my old piercings.

Great service, but very busy for Sunday afternoon. The staff were very detailed and informative. I recommend the piecer to anyone. Im happy with my results and plan on going back for another set of piercing in the future. The parking is horrible, just be ready to do a few rounds in the parking lot because it is small with couple of business sharing the lot.

Halo is a very busy place. I waited about 45 minutes to get a piercing. The ladies working the front were very knowledgeable and helpful. My piercer was super cool and friendly. The jewelry was pricey though. I dont plan on anymore piercings but I would absolutely recommend Halo to anyone.

Halo is such a clean friendly location they really know what theyre talking about and break it down Barney style. This is probably the only piercing place I would recommend they are extremely sterile. The quality of products that carry is unparallel. As with everything in life you get what you pay for. no they are not the cheapest but they are the best and you are only getting the best.

I have been going here for the past 10 years and never had much of a problem. I have purchased tooons of jewelry here. I always tell my friends and introduced my girlfriend to this place as well. I had high hopes but she was let down by one of the employees, Frank. He sized her piercings (nipple) and gave her one of those little cards that detailed her sizing. She mentioned to him that she believed he was wrong and he pushed back with some excuse which doesnt really matter, because guess what, he was wrong anyway. I didnt know he was wrong, and trusted his judgement as an employee, so I used this card to get her a Christmas gift at Halo, the girl at the counter was super helpful and checked the card at least 10 times to ensure she had the right size. At this point, I fully trusted this establishment to drop $200 on a gift for my girl. Turns out that Frank was incorrect in his sizing and now my girlfriend is having major issues with her piercing, it hurts her and appears to be rejecting. She has major discomfort when her nip is soft. When she went in today to address it, Frank told her they wont be doing anything and even attempted to shift the blame on her. He barely inspected it, didnt even clean it or anything of that sort. All he offered was to have her bring in her original piercing (the one she was pierced with, at another shop in Tucson) so that he can get her correct size and that she would need to pay for her replacement jewelry. So, a clear admission of being incorrect and I had to throw $200 down the drain for HIS mistake and now will need to purchase more jewelry for her. Me and my girlfriend will not be returning nor will I EVER recommend this place to friends again. They take so much pride in being experts and being so clean but a mistake like this is inexcusable.

Tried to come in and get a piercer to put in a dermal top in the two I have in my back, apparently they can’t do that since they weren’t the ones to do the piercing. Never in my life have I been turned away from any tattoo or piercing studio to simply have them put a dermal top in. The woman at the counter said it was because they couldn’t guarantee if it would fit which I understand, it was just extremely disappointing. Needless to say if you’re looking to get a dermal top put in because yours fell out (and this place isn’t the one who did it) don’t waste your time coming here. The jewelry is beautiful here though I think that is the only good thing I can say. They did offer me to buy the dermal tops but that is kind of pointless considering I am unable to put in the dermal tops in my back myself because they’re so small and difficult to get in. I have just never had my business turned away before definitely not a pleasant experience!

Had an awesome experience here. I went in to see if my Tragus were still open. Thankfully, they still were and they just needed to be stretched a bit. Also, my Dath was still open on one side so I got that stretched a bit a jewelry put in also. The other side was closed and she didn’t want to irritate it so she told me to come back another time to get it pierced again.Also, when I came in there I wanted a whole different piercing and she actually told me no because my ears are to small for this particular type of piercing. That to me showed me integrity and she wasn’t just going to pierce me to make money. Bonus the time I went in, it was an all female staff and they were all knowledgeable.

My brother and I were shopping in the area, but the other stores in the complex close at six. We decided to pop in to Halo. They were so cool and welcoming, and even gave us a very thorough tour of the shop. Their prices for jewelry and piercings are quite reasonable! This shop is a cant miss! Went to get a simple piercing when I got there I couldn’t get my lip pierced because the piercer told the front lady he never pierced someone where I wanted the jewel. I feel if your company specialize in piercing people your piercers should basically know how to pierce anything. Plus they don’t have a phone number to call just in case something like this happens. Couldve save me the trip if I knew the piercer couldn’t do it.

BEST experience Ive ever had. Club Tattoo, HTC, any other body piercing shop in Mesa/PHX/Tempe pales in comparison to this shop. I went there on Friday, August 5th 2016 and was blown away. As a male who has struggled for 4 years to find someone who cares to help me find the right piece for my piercing, I was refreshed with Frank, a piercer at the shop, and his staff. So much so that I told him Id go and write this review. Go to this shop you wont be disappointed.

My wife had been wanting to get her nose pierced for a few years now, which initially started with her nostril and then progressed to her septum, and finally decided she wanted to get it done for her 30th birthday. After trying to find a place to get it done, I suggested Halo. I knew they had a great reputation as well knowing that piercings is their specialty as it is all they do.Arriving there, we are greeted, had to read some piercing information and sign a consent form. Got checked to make sure that her nose would be pierceable, we were brought back by Frank who also checked for placement and explained the process. The piercing itself took maybe 30 seconds, afterwards Frank explained the healing process.So have to say it was a great experience and would highly suggest Halo for anyone wanting to get something pierced or even if you have questions about piercings. They also have a lot of really cool jewelry.

I got my first body peircings here, and the lady who did it was AMAZING. She had over 10 years of experience and made me feel comfortable the whole way through. Because of the area I was getting pierced, I was super scared ad emberassed. Did I stay that way?? HELL NO! Everything was super clean as well. After she used the marker on me so we could figure out where we wanted the placement of the peircings, she gave me the marker to keep so that she could guarantee that each customer had their own marker that touched the skin. So yeah. VERY CLEAN!!! I highly recommend this parlor to everyone for their piercing needs

This was my second time to Halo and it was a second great experience. The employees upfront were so helpful and very nice, and Frank - the piercer - was awesome. Got my first piercing here 20 years ago. Went back recently. Front office girl with short brown hair is stoned and very cold and rude. Could not answer simple questions about inventory, gauge sizes, pricing. Went to Palm Springs and had a great experience at Paln Springs Piercing. Will continue going to Palm Springs. Screw Halo.

I purchased jewelry, and they offered to change it for free.If you are spooked to change your own jewelry, dont hesitate to come here, they will fix you up and give you great advice (I have to remove mine for an MRI).

I had like halo for a long time back in 1999 i got my first piercing there. My daughter recent was given a coupon for two free piercings on her 18th birthday. Well they didnt take her temp id. And even tho if we had came in before her birthday we could of used her birth certificate and my id they wouldnt take that today since she is now 18. On top of that i was told they would not honor her coupon after her birthday. So we are left with a rather disappointing birthday.

The jewelry here is beautiful, the employee at the front was helpful but not super personable, and the piercer who worked with us was knowledgable but not the best with bedside manners. We didnt feel very welcomed, but we love our new jewelry.

I got a really great find of a septum ring. I put in an order for some really amazing amethyst ear plugs and the technician said they would call me back within a couple days and its been almost 4 months. I give up the wait.

My husband, who is Lean 6 Sigma Black Belt Master, accompanied me on my visit and commented that this establishment is one of very few that run like a well oiled machine. Other than my long wait, this business has all the earmarks for a business that runs as it should. I will be referring my friends and family here. AND they have a better selection here than you find online!

I like these guys a lot, theyre personable and their store has a huge selection. 4 stars because as I was getting my industrial pierced the piercer yelled an explative as though she had messed up- she did not, and apologised, however- it freaked me out for a split second. Still, good quality jewelery and honest/personable staff.

The staff is completely amazing! They are so knowledgeable and will to make suggestions when needed. I wont go anywhere else.

Always liked.this.place but i might as well have been invisible ..I.wasnt acknowledged let alone asked if i needed.help with purchasing something .. i had a pocket full of money to.spend there too but apparently they not into the money making side nor customer service side of things!And a week before this i shower up rigjt before closing open sign still on and had 5 min at least before closing and i.was turned away..this place used to be my favorite!! DONT GO HERE EVER!!!! If I could rate a zero I would HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. If it was $1 to get a piercing still wouldnt recommend today I went to get my back dermals jewelry changed my left side jewelry fell off n skin had grown slightly over it but I personally could still feel the piercing which has happened before and I just the lady I usually go to fixes it and I leave HAPPY this man removed my entire dermal saying it popped out when I felt him pulling it out honestly if he didnt want to do he couldve told me he literally PULLED IT OUT and said you should wait maybe if your not in the mood DONT work

I got a piercing in January from the piercing artist Frank. For months I had what I thought was a keloid on my nose piecing , which is no big deal it happens all the time. Fast forward to this week, I still had it and it would not go away. I visited a dermatologist and it turned out to be my BLOOD VESSEL. Frank failed to give me a safe piercing and caused my blood vessel to grow outside of my piercing and I had to get the vessel lanced off and cauterized. If you want to get a quality piercing from someone who knows what theyre doing, this is NOT the place.

I had Lauren pierce my ears and i loved the expirence so much! Ive never had anything pierced before and the staff was so sweet and knowledgeable and helpful! I would recommend to anyone. Please check this place out!!

I get it, becoming a piercer is such a hard, demanding field to acquire. I understand that it is a very challenging career, and your whole life revovles around it. However, it seems that the piercers here didnt take the course called Customer Service at Piercing University. I wish I had the smarts to become a piercer and to be able to belittle customers. Come here if you enjoy being cut off while speaking and to feel humiliated as if you didnt know the simplicity of taking care of a piercing. All I wanted was to purchase jewelery, you C word.

Save yourself a ton of time and money and go somewhere else!! Spent over 45 minutes there to simply purchase 7 regular hoop earrings, stainless, nothing special. My ear is already pierced 7 times, so this didnt even include piercing, just the jewelry. Cost me $182.45!! NO VASELINE INCLUDED!!

The staff is kind of rude and fussy but they definitely make up for it with a clean and safe experience. Definitely go here for high quality jewelery, a variety of options, and a super safe experience.

One of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. I needed to buy a belly button ring and I was asked to wait outside while they checked to see if they could squeeze me in.After I got in my car to leave I saw 2 more people walk in. I was told they were at capacity even though the state has removed this mandate.I will never come back here. Lost a customer who would’ve been in and out in 2 minutes.

They were nice and super quick to take my jewelry off.Plus they had the best prices in town ($10 to remove jewelry, which I think is still a little steep considering the procedure takes 1 nanosecond).

Quick and easy. My girlfirend said it was painless and wasnt scary at all. The lady she got was nice and kool, if I ever must up the courage myself to get a piercing- this where im coming to lol. Great overall

My mom and I went in to get pierced for her 65th birthday and both employees were so incredibly RUDE! Aside from their total negative energy, the 5 people who walked in after us all got pierced before we were up. We decided to go elsewhere, but I’m so ashamed I made my mom drive all the way there to be treated like that. Wish I could give 0 stars!

I had an emergency involving a broken/chipped tooth and a lip piercing today.I have gotten all of my piercings done here so, naturally, as a repeat customer I came right after work..They were closed at 6:15 when I rolled up, while putting up a sign that looked as if it was used before. A few times.Apologizing for the inconvenience, of course.Keep in mind business hours are until 8pm.Its not even quater after 6..As a successful small business owner, that is not something I would get into the habit of practicing.Business hours are business hours for a reason.I needed professionals, or PAs at least, for the help I needed for this. So I was left hanging.(This last part is purely my opinion.).I had to take my emergency business elsewhere.I am way more disappointed than anything.

This place is great. My last piercing experience at the mall was awful and the staff at Halo were very professional and answered all my questions. The shop was very clean and their jewelry selection was wonderful. I highly recommend this shop.

Female behind counter was too stoned to understand she wasn’t being cool rather then indifferent and unwelcoming. It is too bad for I drove from chandler hoping this would be a cool place. Too bad.It has a nice selection and very clean.Just service is meh

They gave me 3 botched piercings, over charged me for jewelry by double charging me and when I contacted them to resolve the situation they took no responsibility for their actions. $160 wasted, I had to have the piercings removed with wire cutters because my ear has been swollen for months. The jewelry is very low quality for the price and the customer service is lacking.

The piercing itself went ok but they didn’t allow emotional support from the person I brought. I wasn’t allowed to have it recorded which I would have liked and I couldn’t even hold my persons hand. If you are looking for a fun experience I wouldn’t recommend, but, if you want to just get it done abn be on your way then they work for that.

Great shop, love their jewelry selection. JD was a little quirky but I’m ecstatic with my piercing. Will be back for the follow up in 4 weeks! Highly recommend this shop.

Until (or unless) I have found something better Halo is it for piercing in Phoenix. The store is always spotless and has a solid jewelry selection (companies like BVLA, Anatometal, Industrial, among others). Take a moment to look at their little anthropology museum of artifacts (plugs and jewelry) and youll learn something.Halo piercers and staff are always top notch and knowledgeable about their craft and what you need (versus what you want) and they walk the talk re: your rights as a piercee.Ive been going there for years and theres no place else in Phoenix I recommend.

I went to try ti get my nose repirced and didnt need he just push the nose ring in Grest guy and he gave me my money back for the piercing definitely going back and they have a great Jewery selection..

They violate health, safety and fire code by locking customers inside the building. Its illegal and completely hazardous for customers to be locked in a building. Basically borderline kidnapping because you are not free to leave unless they let you out!These people are sketched out and paranoid and located in a really trash area.Ear has been infected for weeks now!

The guy the did my piercings (nose and belly) tighten the piercing so tight I cannot unscrew them. I called and told them he screwed it too tight and I need to have him take it out and they said it will cost me $5 per piercing which I think is bs because I should not have to pay for him making it too tight.

Drove over an hour to just be turned away a second time for 16 y.o. ear piercing stating first come back when she no longers swims, second time saying she required birth certificate!? Wish they had said this the first time we came. Will not be returning and do not recommend for minors! Very rude front desk service.

Great experience great customer service lauren was great with guiding me thru the process when piercing my nose. only con I think they should explain on the phone when I called that u have to pay work done jewelry and the cleaning solution and tell the possible total cost which it was 55 and something cents luckily I brung 100 dollars
