He is kind and compassionate and just had a really amazing energy to him. I am sure he could put anyone at ease. Its obvious that he really knows what he is doing and is passionate about giving each person a tailored and customized experience to get exactly what they are looking for. I first came to Kevin in 2021 when I got back to the valley and needed to remove a piercing that was driving me nuts (daith). He was super nice and understanding, the appointment went by quick. I couldn’t help but feel like I need to give an outstanding review for Kevin. I couldn’t recommend him more. I found him online and all the positive reviews encouraged me to make an appointment. This was the first piercing I’ve had that wasn’t done makeshift when I was a teenager so, needless to say, I was very anxious. Kevin is amazing! I was nervous to get back into a shop to get a piercing after over a decade of not having work done. There are no tattoo machines buzzing, no loud music, and the place is yours. Kevin made sure I was relaxed and comfortable and created a great environment for my piercing experience. All of my questions (and more) were answered and I received an aftercare booklet that included the piercing information. Talking with Kevin felt like talking to an old friend I hadnt seen in years. Very happy with my experience and will be returning when Im ready for more work.

Kevin is THE BEST. So glad he has his own studio. The studio itself is absolutely gorgeous, you have a large variety of jewelry to pick from. After getting an earlobe reconstruction, I was scared id never be able to stretch my ear again, let alone pierce it, but Kevin took his time and marked out a great place for my piercing, and its healing FANTASTIC. He was very kind hearted, and it was an amazing experience. So glad I got to see him! Will be going there for all my piercing needs!

I first came in for a daith, my first cartilage piercing, and have been back many times since. Every time is a wonderful experience! The shop is a relaxing reprieve from the chaos of the city, and Kevin makes a point of keeping everything sparklingly clean and sanitary. He washes his hands properly and thoroughly, dons fresh gloves before touching any freshly-sterilized jewelry and single-use tools, and sanitizes the entire work space between clients. He is personable and does everything he can to make you feel comfortable and respected throughout the experience. He keeps a lovely stock of gorgeous jewelry, but will also special-order from quality manufacturers if he doesnt have exactly what you want available. I will keep coming back for as long as it takes to complete (or run out of space on) curated ears! His selection of jewelry is more than I had seen before, custom pieces from Mexico to BVLA customs, theres always something new to swoon over. Kevin is a highly skilled piercer and a nice guy. I had three piercings with him and the experience was awesome. I came in with a few pictures from Pinterest to give him an idea of what I was looking for and I didn’t need any of them because his recommendations were spot on. Kevin was incredible. I went in for a nose piercing and my two daughters got their ears done (they are 9 and 12). He was SO patient and fun and engaging with them. We were there for at least two hours and the environment was welcoming and comfortable and totally low pressure. He was up front and answered all our questions and was extremely patient with my youngest daughter who wanted her ears pierced but was afraid to have them done. I would 100% recommend him to anyone and if any piercings are in my future I will make the drive to Phoenix to see him. I can’t say enough good things about him and I LOVE that his studio is by appointment-it makes for such a personal experience and was wonderful.

What can I start by saying! Kevin is an amazing guy with a huge heart!! As soon as I walked into his shop I felt super comfortable. I would never go anywhere else to get pierced! With a positive and relaxed atmosphere my nerves were calmed, and any questions I had were explained in a way I could understand. Kevin understands the anatomy of a person and how it should be decorated, he will not pierce you if it would look bad! He is very experienced and takes the most precautions using disinfectant and sterilized instruments. I felt very safe in his hands and will definitely come again!

Got my first nostril piercing! The owner/piercer Kevin provided a very personal and fun experience, I felt he was just as excited for me to get pierced as I was! It was the first time meeting him but it felt like we were old friends the moment I walked through the door. I had seen him before at a previous location and when I went to locate him again via Instagram, I was thrilled to see that he had opened his own location and instantly booked an appointment. I am sorry, this review should’ve been posted a while ago. Especially since I low key stalked Kevin for years. I have wanted to get this piercing for years. I did tons of research before going (I highly recommend The Piercing Bible for info). This was not a total whim. More like I had to work the courage. Kevin was absolutely amazing. I had finally worked up the courage to call and of course it was close to closing :( My friend was in town from Seattle and leaving before the shop opened again. Kevin said he would wait for us.When we got there the first thing I noticed was how clean and open the shop was. It has an art gallery feel to it. Kevin explained everything with great detail. More importantly he didn’t rush us. Really, I would’ve understood if he did. He waited for us well after closing. He made me feel really comfortable. Everyone has their own pain tolerance, I feel like mine is kinda on the low side. With that said it was did not hurt that much.I cannot say enough positive things about this amazing experience!! Kevin at Wholehearted piercing was AMAZING! This was my first time coming here for a nostril piercing by a friends recommendation and it was the best decision I ever made. I usually go to HTC or Halo but lately their staffs rudeness has turned me off from them. I saw Wholehearted was still doing nostril b/c Halo wasnt at the moment due to the pandemic so I decided to book it. He gave me pricing on different types of jewelry, why some pieces would work and others wouldnt, personal tips for after care, and explanations on it all. He was friendly, answered all of the questions that I had and made me feel super comfortable in the space. He doesnt try to upsell you on jewelry or aftercare products even though he has them available, he truly cares about you & your piercing. I have about 15 piercings all done at HTC or Halo but my nostril done at Wholehearted was my favorite. This is my new spot! I am returning a week later for a new helix. Thank you Kevin!

Piercing checkup/downsize experience:I really enjoyed the personal time to talk about the place I had originally gone to get my piercings (nostril and rook) looked at since the other place took 2 seconds too look at my piercings and said I was good when the nostril jewlary was obviously too big and needed down sizing at week 5 (kept spinning around in my nose) and they told me no (even after I booked and paid for an appointment). ANYWAYS, its now week 6 seeked out a new place found this one on APP site. Was closest to my home and I really liked the creative name and the jewlary selection. He helped me downsize and change my my nostril from a cork screw style to a Labret and helping downsize the labret bars for my second lobes and mid ear piercing. I am beyond pleased with a proper fitted jewlary! Thank you for helping me get properly fitted bars & double checking the rook and reassuring me its doing good. 😊Also had him verify my ear drawing plan for future piercings and helped me confirm I can do all my future plan holes! Cant wait!!

After some careful research I was 1000% positive this was the shop to go to for any piercings. Especially because I was considering cheek Piercings. Its the only shop that listed available piercings, specifically stated that cheek piercing placement is essential and the healing process can be long. He asks for a deposit to make an appointment which shows me he has business style and ethics. I went in and decided to get a Jestrum piercing instead of my cheeks for reasons related to the job I do. His shop is spotless but not medical, sterile but not cold, and he is absolutely dedicated to doing a perfect job. The piercing came out perfect. Not even remotely crooked...perfection. He made sure I was feeling alright during the process and gave me excellent advice on how to best deal with the healing. I will definitely only be going here fur any piercings from here on out and Im looking into the scarification process as well.
