PLU Piercing Artistry

I visited PLU Piercing Artistry yesterday and had an amazing experience! I am no stranger to piercings (I have 14 total from several different shops across the U.S.) and this was the best piercing experience I have had. I got two lobe accents (pictured below) and I love the placement Carol did. I came in with an idea of what piercing and placement I wanted, and Carol was so incredibly sweet and accommodated exactly what I wanted. I love my piercings so much, I will be returning this week to get my other ear pierced!

I won PLU’s piercing party giveaway and it was so very fun for my 30th! Carol is so amazing and kind and helped answer all of our many questions while we had fun designing our dream ears and then discussed the price options for the piercings we wanted to move forward with. Carol also mapped out 2 new nose piercings to compliment my nose hoops on each side so that I can have my piercings be more symmetrical and switch for a hoop and nose stack in the future. Thank you so much Carol! We had so much fun! 🥰

I first came across PLU Piercing Artistry on instagram and Carol instantly got my attention with her beautiful work of art. I haven’t gotten a piercing in nearly 15 years so I was nervous and didn’t know what to expect, but Carol was very sweet, patient, and knowledgeable in her work. Her whole set up is also very clean, cute, and relaxing. I ultimately decided on a mid-helix and flat and I couldn’t be happier with the results.

This was my first time coming into PLU artistry. I love how the appointment is very hands on and one on one with carol. I loved that I got to choose all my jewelry and play around with all the different options before I committed to anything. Carol is very knowledgeable in her craft and super friendly. I can’t wait to go back to add some more piercings :) got my inner conch and helix pierced for reference in the video.

I could sit here and write a short story about my experience with Carol! First she is the sweetest soul and so personable. It makes the experience so relaxing. She’s extremely detail oriented and takes her time looking into the mapping for piercings and to find the perfect jewelry to complement the placement. The whole studio setup and clean and calming. I was nervous as I haven’t gotten a piercing in almost 20 years and she was so quick it was painless. The jewelry range she has is massive and would have something for anyone’s taste. 10/10 recommend and will be going back.

Carol is amazing! We did a full design consultation, going through piercing placement and picking the right earrings. We did 3 lobe piercings on one ear, 2 lobe piercings on the other. She gives you detailed aftercare instructions so you can heal healthily, and made the whole process so much fun! Will definitely be back & would happily recommend. (:

Carol is the sweetest and best! We connected on social media and a week later I was in her studio with my teenager to get some new ear jewelry. She spent a hour letting us design our ears with her silicon ears which was so fun to see before it became a reality. We went over pricing, pros, cons, and the after care. Carol also was able to remove and change out jewelry from both of my tragus piercings (that I had for 20 years). I highly recommend PLU Piercing Artistry! Cant wait to go back or at least hold a friends hand when they get pierced. Thanks Carol!

Had such an amazing experience, I would definitely recommend coming here to get pierced! It was such a different experience and was intimate, nothing felt rushed. Everything was so clean and it felt nice to have my ears mapped out to see what they would looked like with what I would want for future piercings! I was even helped out with a previous piercing that I have been trouble healing!

Carol is the best piercer I’ve ever been to- she’s so informative and walks you through the process. She is extremely thorough and happy to answer all questions or even ease any apprehension/nerves. I got an orbital piercing and she explained everything she was doing, before during and after, plus all the after care treatment. I highly recommend this shop to all locals looking for a good piercer!

I had the delightful opportunity of having a consultation with both of my ears. I designed beautiful pieces and started my piercing journey the jewelry is beautiful and with Xtra consideration for sensitive skin or any known allergies I learned so much I would recommend this for a solo experience or something to do with a best friend I will definitely be back cant help not to see the final look !

Carol at PLU was awesome!We curated a design before deciding on which piercings to do that day. Carol has a great selection of jewelry available and didnt make me feel rushed in the process. She made sure I knew pros and cons of everything and listened to my preferences at every step. The piercings themselves were quick and she offered a fidget toy for distraction if needed. The whole process felt professional and safe.The studio is clean and the private appointment for each client was a huge plus for me. A great experience overall and fair prices for her work! I will be back to get more :)
