We met amazing people from Love & Hate Tattoo at Mad Monster convention & they were very friendly answering any questions & showing designs. Made an appointment & their shop is amazing. Jake & Danny are so chill & genuine. Really enjoyed conversation with them. Definitely plan on getting tattoos done by them. Also, the prints are beautiful. So much talent & creativity. Love & Hate Tattoo is definitely a hidden gem. The shop was so cozy, decorative & clean. I’m excited to come back again. Thank you so much Jake & Danny

Danny and I had a falling out some years ago (100% MY FAULT) so I had delayed this review out of respect... But I just saw some of these RIDICULOUS negative reviews so I had to speak up. Danny Ross is BY FAR the most talented, patient, unique and overall amazing artist you could ever hope to have. He transformed the memorial tattoo I had for my brother from embarrassing to STUNNING. Ten plus years later I constantly get stopped and asked Holy shit! Who did that tat? Its awesome! The shop is super clean and laid back and they will work with you on pricing, although honestly Danny should be getting at least double what he charges. When we sat down to decide what my final tat would be, his expertise REALLY shined... asked me a few simple questions, and ten minutes later showed me the most beautiful hand drawn piece of art. I cried when it was done I was so happy, and I am truly grateful and so lucky to have his art on my skin. Trust me - you will NOT be disappointed. If you are looking for not just a tattoo but a true piece of living art - Love and Hate is your shop.

Great shop!! Clean and bright with cool artwork everywhere. I come to see Jake, but all the artists and staff are friendly and welcoming. Jake does an excellent job on the tattoos themselves and advising on placement, size, and shapes. He’s an excellent artist with a great eye!

I have found my forever artist. Danny and his team are absolutely the best at what they do. My only regret is not finding him sooner. For the work they do its well worth every penny, which personally is worth way more than they charge..go see for yourself.

The owner is amazing. I called to see if they did walk-ins, and he said yes, they do. Told him that we would be there in 15 minutes. I got my first tattoo right then and there with my cousin. We both just turned 50 and wanted something. It wasnt as bad as I thought it would be. After we were both done, he went over the aftercare stuff and answered all the questions I had. I will definitely go back to get more from him

This shop is one of the best. Danny Ross is not only an amazing artist, but an awesome guy. The entire shop staff is wonderful, and has great works and the costs of work done for the quality beats any shop hands down. The shop is clean, and they let you see all new tools and even clean as you leave the chair. The atmosphere here is one of a kind, and you can tell the staff loves what they do. Everyone is so friendly!! Sam is my tattoo artist- she has done 8 for me now within the last year.. absolutely highly recommend. She takes her time and truly doesnt mind moving the placement or size of the tattoo. I send her ideas and she creates a one of a kind image.. Im obsessed 😍 big fan!! Got my first lobe piercing today. Trinity was phenomenal. She made me feel at ease by thoroughly explaining the whole piercing process, as well as the proper aftercare steps. The facility and tools are visibly sterile. Although the place looks homey, it still carries a feeling of professionalism. I cannot recommend this place more. Will be back :)

Everyone there is so freaking awesome!!! Trinity did my tattoo; it was my first tattoo, and sufficient to say, I was super nervous at first. As soon as I walked in, I was immediately greeting with a great welcome and a comfortable atmosphere. Ill definitely be coming here again for another tattoo! Everyone, from the artists to the manager, is so awesome and Id give this studio 10 stars if I could.

I stopped in with a friend to hold their hand for a tattoo they were getting, and ended up walking out with a new piece in myself that I couldnt be happier with. The staff was all extremely helpful, and the prices are probably too low for the quality work you are getting there.

I scheduled an appointment with Sam the apprentice. She was super awesome! Very light-handed and had great music playing. The vibe of this place was super witchy so it definitely went with the vibe for the day. 10/10 thanks Sam!

Got to the shop at 7PM on Friday the 13th and signed up and was told that we wouldn’t have to stay there and we can go out to eat. They stated they would call when it was our turn. We called to confirm around 12 and they stated there was still about 4 others in front of us, and that we still had time. 1 pm comes and we decided to just show up and was rudely told that it’s “1 AM and nobody is here” we were originally told that they would not stop until the end of the list. Not one person in my group of 4 got a single call. Would never return, they did not apologize they just laughed. It’s very rude considering we were just waiting around since 7 PM. Maybe their staff should work on their communication skills because we were all excited and thought this tattoo shop looked very good. Turns out we were wrong, don’t recommend.

Danny, the owner has been great so far with my tattoo project converting a scattering of unrelated tattoos into a sleeve, his method is much more tolerable pain wise than any other artists Ive had work on me.Additionally he has been very collaborative with the design and has been patient with ensuring I like the style and placement of each part of the overall sleeve. I cannot recommend him enough.

I had a really unfortunate experience here for Friday the 13th. I want to preface this review by saying I have eighteen Friday the 13th tattoos. I am no stranger to how the day goes- long waits, flash sheets, and tattoo artists working hard to put on a fun day for the community. Ive been attending these events for 10 years and look forward to them every chance I get.I have 2 other non-Friday the 13th tattoos from this shop that I got a long time ago and was excited to come back. Ive told my wife several times about this shop and have mentioned we should get our next tattoos there. We both have multiple tattoos and add to our art relatively frequently.I came today for the mini horror portraits advertised on their instagram. It said while appointments were available, walk-ins were welcome. When I arrived at 12:30 PM, I told the receptionist that I was interested in the mini portraits, signed in and wrote down what I wanted on the sign in sheet. I was told it would probably be a couple of hours, but honestly, I figured it might be longer. I was pleasantly surprised at 2:30 when my name was called, but was quickly let down when I found out only one artist was doing mini portraits (not the one I was taken to), and I would have to go back out to wait.After about 30 more minutes, I went to check on my status. At this point, I was told I would not be able to get one of the mini portrait tattoos at all, but I could switch to one of the other flash sheets. I opted to do so, and then was told that since I switched designs, I would be skipped and go after the next person on the list.I felt like if I had not gone up there, they would have let me sit there all night waiting for a tattoo I wouldnt be able to get. Then after choosing what was available, I was now being punished for switching designs. Make it make sense. When I expressed this frustration to the receptionist she just looked at me and said its Friday the 13th. But I had already waited that long and didnt want to leave with nothing- some of the other flash was pretty cute, and maybe I could come back for a mini portrait another day. I continued to wait.After seeing the person after me be taken back, and waiting a bit longer, I went to check again. At this point, it was 4:15, almost 2 hours since I was originally called. I was told there was really no timeline of when I would be called, all artists had back to back appointments and were running behind schedule (they were very busy- I could see this), and I would basically be hoping someone didnt show up for their appointment indefinitely. Meanwhile, the room had filled with other folks also waiting for walk-in appointments. Ultimately, I left in frustration.Ive been to a lot of Friday the 13th events, some poorly organized, and some operating like a well-oiled machine. Ive always stayed and enjoyed myself either way (or accepted the offer of a raincheck in some cases- not offered to me here) and almost always have been a returning customer to have regular work done. However the lack of professionalism, communication, and customer service let me know that my business will be more appreciated elsewhere.3 stars cause I dont want to tank their rating, but hope my feedback is heard.

Came for Friday the 13th tattoos and signed up on the waitlist at 7 pm - was advised that we could leave and they would call us when it was our turn. Called back at 11:47 pm and was told there were 4 people ahead. We called twice afterwards to determine the wait and our calls were not answered. After not receiving a call and not getting our calls answered, our party went back to be tattoo shop at 1 am to find out that they had closed. Staff that was outside rudely expressed that it was way past 1 and that we left, even though they had told us earlier in the evening that we could, that they would call us when we were next up on the list, and that they would continue tattooing until everyone on the list was finished. Extremely disappointed with this shop as there was no decency in even letting us know that they had closed for the night. We were looking forward to the tattoos and to the possibility of even going back in the future for bigger pieces. However, we will not be returning as the shop did not seem to care and did not honor their word.

Ryan was amazing! Very helpful and creative. We came in for “matching” tattoos and he blew us away with his quick idea and art form. He was attentive, super friendly, and professional. He worked quickly but his work was amazing. 10/10 would recommend him to anyone. He’s extremely talented!

Primo was absolutely AMAZING. He was willing to do whatever it took to make sure I was 100% satisfied with my tattoo. His artwork is beautiful and I’m so in love with how my tattoo turned out. The customer service was amazing and every employee in the shop was super friendly. Would definitely recommend Love and Hate to anyone.

Ryan was absolutely awesome— quick in confirming he was available for our walk-ins and even more efficient once we showed up! He freehanded our designs, and communicated health and safety risks and concerns while making us feel comfortable and welcomed. Long overdue review, but when I got my tattoo done by Primo here about a month or so ago, it was an awesome experience. Staff was chill, and Primo took his time making sure my tattoo idea became reality and the best that it could be. Glad I went with his suggestion to start with the consultation and have him work on some ideas throughout the next week. Tattoo came out great and his aftercare instructions really helped. Tattoo healed up quickly and looks just as awesome as the first day. Will definitely be coming back to get more tattoos from the shop and done by Primo.

I highly recommend Love and Hate Tattoo & Piercing. The artists are professional, clean, and fun. Primo worked with me on a water color tattoo and deigned the perfect peice for me. He was very detailed and explained all after care procedures very clearly. I will definitely come back and see Primo! I am a life long customer now! Thanks so much!

Amazing spot. I called them to see if they had time for a walk in and was able to come in right away. Primo took his time and his artwork and personal work is amazing. The customer service and attention to detail and cleanliness was unmatched and better than service I’ve had done for any other tattoo in the past. I will 10000% be back and would say if you’re on the fence or looking at other spots, come here and see Primo, you won’t regret it.

I was visiting AZ for my sisters bachelorette party and we (group of 4) wanted to get tattoos last minute. We called a bunch of places and finally we decided because of Pete. My sister called and talked to him on the phone and after seeing pictures of his work, we were sold. He was SO accommodating and so helpful. We had little changes here and there and he didn’t get upset or annoyed. He wanted to make sure he got it exactly how we wanted while still being upfront about placement, sizing, and what he as an artist was willing to do to ensure we could have the best possible outcome. We got matching birth flower tattoos for our kids and he helped guide us while still following exactly what we wanted. All of us left so happy with our tattoos. I highly highly recommend him ESPECIALLY for American traditional. He’s got beautiful work, clean lines, and a great attitude. I will definitely be back next time I’m in Arizona. Thank you Pete!

I have gotten multiple large, small and medium size tattoos from Love and Hate. Never had an issue or misunderstanding. Absolutely love everyone of my pieces, I will continue to go here for many years to come. I don’t understand the weird negative reviews, so petty. Danny is an amazing artist, makes me feel welcomed and understood. He’s straight forward, professional and great at what he does. Thank you for doing amazing work that I will enjoy for the rest of my life.

A couple days ago it was a little after dark , before I even entered the doors trinity was outside drinking alcohol and she already looked buzzed. She looked at me and greeted me nicely but then said “ I’m outside because I don’t want to be inside with those three Mexicans inside.” I was concerned and I asked why. She said “ because they’re speaking in Spanish and I’m sure they’re talking about me.” I asked her how she knows and was there anything she did.” She shrugged her shoulder and said “probably because I looked at them weird and told them I didn’t want to take them, also because they’re speaking in Spanish and I don’t want to be alone with the 3 of them.” I was very offended because I myself am Hispanic and the fact that she told me that was just outrageous. If could give it zero stars I would!!! I do not recommend this place.

Terrible experience! I went in there to get a tattoo with my best friend and we over heard their new tattoo artist Trinity say racist things towards the Hispanic and black community, like how she would never tattoo Hispanics and black people because they “scare her” and how she would deny them service because she feels “threatened” and how she would much rather tattoo white people. As Mexican American I felt sick to my stomach as to how someone feels the need to say such horrible things out loud. My best friend and I decided to leave. NEVER coming here again. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

Worst experience ever!!! I came in for a tattoo and I told trinity or wtvr her name was what tattoo I wanted and she showed me and it looked good on the paper but clearly does not know how to do thin line like I asked! Some spots looked faded and other lines looked thicker than other spots. Charged more than it was worth!

Absolutely love love the artists! ( All of them)They will listen to you.Sit down with you and go over what you want. They have patience and will give you their ideas as well. Also, prices are awesome. Ive been recommending love and hate to all my friends and to people that I dont know that stop n ask me where I got my tattoos.

Loved this place from the moment it popped up on my search results to when about an hour later I was laying in a room getting my nipples pierced on a whim! No appointment needed, they were very accommodating and informative. They do titanium jewelry so it is hypoallergenic and they are able to color it however you like :) overall my experience was pretty painless and quick, and I felt really comfortable with both of my piercers (mine were done in tandem). Would highly recommend!

Torin is very thorough, friendly, knowledgeable...and gentle. I went in to stretch my lobes a bit (12g to 6g). He wanted to make sure the stretch would not tear. I can say that after about 24 hours the swelling and pain were almost completely gone. Definitely a successful procedure. Shop also has excellent tattoo artists. I came in to get my back tattoo redone and Danny did an excellent job filling in what he could and really helped make the tattoo colors pop. Friendly people. Many of the paintings were made by the people who work there. Funky and fun environment. Not a kid friendly place. Talented staff.

AMAZING. Very, very clean establishment. Artists are friendly and so helpful. I got my nose pierced and it was hands down one of the best piercing experiences Ive ever had. The piercer I went to see was friendly, and very knowledgable. He would be good at calming down pre-piercing jitters. All in all, amazing experience. I will definitely be back!

I got my nose pierced by Torin today and he did an absolutely amazing job. I didnt feel any pain, didnt have any anxiety. He made me feel really calm and relaxed and explained the entire process to me. He knows exactly what hes doing. And he was willing to help me out with switching my stud to a hoop, said I could go back anytime necessary for help changing my piercing. Torin, thank you for a great experience. Will definitely be coming back and I highly recommend!!!

Amazing parlor, I went in on a recomendation from a good friend of mine for my first tattoo, and I couldnt be happier with the piece, the price, and the people. Posting this review after its fully healed and they walk you through every step of the process, making sure that yourewell taken care of. I cant wait to go back and set up my next piece with Danny.

Amazing had two of my tattoos done by primo and couldn’t ask for anything better. The employees make you feel very comfortable and the business overall is very clean.

I called on Wednesday and spoke with an employee. She tild.me they would be open today and, for a nose piercing, take walk ins. I arrived at the parlor and both doors were locked. I called and got a voice mail. Its a shame. The studio is close by and we are looking for a new artist. But, not if they cant give accurate info and be reached.

Torin vaughn was very knowledgeable and has my friend at ease the whole time. It was a really great experience.

Trinity was very rude & unprofessional! Just straight up disrespectful just because we did not like something she drew out for me and my friend, she went on saying to go somewhere else that she does not have time to waste on us.

Had my ear lobes pierced (at an 8 gauge) by Torin. Absolutely phenomenal experience. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to answer all of my questions. He used freaking calipers to make sure he had centered the marks before piercing! I would highly recommend for any of your piercing needs. Just make sure to call ahead, since his schedule is slightly different from the shops schedule.

I have been here quite a few times with my friends. The tattoos have always been decent but Danny is very good. I have been considering coming here, because it is familiar to me, but before I could even make a decision, I have found out that Danny will not welcome my business. He says he would kick me out because he is currently working on someone who hates me. I did not know that a business man would get involved in HS drama and in return, talk crap about someone, who I am sure, he doesnt even remember and then to kick them out. After discovering this, I am definitely considering a place that is ran by professionals. Danny lost a fan and possible client here, but again, he is good at what he does, so I am sure he will have more clients and will indulge in talking more crap. Best of luck.

Went in to get a piece done on my leg and the artist that did my tattoo said not to do color which I officially wanted. Also did only shading which I am really upset with every timeI see it. He didn’t seem to have had much experience and was rushed on it. Definitely going to a different shop.

Loved this shop! I was in town and wanted a small cactus done on the fly and Kyebag was available, awesome guy! Very professional and a really kind person. Definitely would recommend stopping in here whether youre a local or visiting.

I went in today and asked for a Medusa piercing. A nice looking man said the piecer was busy with another client. Okay, no big deal right? He said it’d be 5 - 10 minutes until he got to me. So I sat down waiting. The whole time no one else acknowledged my existence, and no one checked my ID or gave me paperwork to fill out. They were having loud and fun conversation and eating while they went from the front to the back (idk how hygienic that is, they didn’t look very busy) as I sat awkwardly in silence on their couch. Then everyone took their food and cigarettes out back and left me completely alone on the couch. After 30 minutes of waiting I cut my losses and left. I had to walk around back to get to my car and they just stared in silence as I left, which is surprising because before I saw them they were still having loud conversation. It was the only time anyone else noticed me. I don’t want to assume it’s a race thing since they’re all white and I’m black, but the professionalism was obviously non existent. I’ll take my money elsewhere.

Got a tattoo done as a walk-in by Alex (I believe). Was my first tattoo and felt very welcomed. Staff is super cool and friendly. Def coming back for more art in the near future!

I came in a few weeks ago to get a nautical themed compass rose on my thigh, I had an idea of what I wanted but Tony Goeke really helped me put it all together. Came out super clean and exactly how I thought i wanted it from when I first set out. Really awesome shop good people good prices and they know what theyre doing. Would recommend to anyone. I LOVE MY TATTOO! Jason Begay gave me exactly what I wanted. Its a quaint little shop just as you would expect from a tattoo shop. Very clean and inviting. The bathroom was clean! thats a huge plus to me.

First Off i have to say thank you !👏If youre looking to get your nose pierced definitely go here from the moment I walked in Eva greeted me I told her that I was looking for jewelry. I got my nose Pierced at another shop I will do a review under their site for them .My problem was the jewelry that was used at the other shop kept showing out of my nose like sticking out I would have to constantly tuck it back in my nose I told her my issue I couldnt keep worrying about every time I walk into my bosss office I was gonna have something sticking out of my nose. She showed me the jewelry and explained what would be best to use since it had been only 3 weeks since I first Got it pierced come to find out what I had purchased is what they use to Pierce your nose with so I paid 35 for a new piece and she put in in for me I was a A ecstatic no more medal piece sticking out hell yes !!The down side I should of came here 1st and instead of paying $75 I would just paid $35 for the job to be done right the first time .The problem is the other location did not bend the post properly thats why it was sticking out of my nose. sheesh

Doesnt matter that one of the owners is a personal friend of mine, theres no denying so much talent in one space. Very local and personable, with proven history of artistic mastery and professionalism. Very customer-oriented and integrity-focused. Highly recommended.

The place seemed fairly clean and most of the staff seemed alright. Might rate the place higher if we did not have employees come out back and smoke a joint. Not sure that holding a tattoo gun or whatever they do at a shop that does piercings and tattoo work as they are in a altered state.

Bleh. Just another tattoo joint to me. Went there because it says piercing but was surprised at the lack of jewelry they had. Dude that helped me seemed to cool for school and definitely didnt make me feel like I should bring my hard earned money there. The stuff they did have was overpriced and I guess its cash only but nobody told me that until it was time to pay. Rest assured they have an ATM that cost me $5.00 extra to get cash. The whole experience left me with a bad taste in my mouth and all I did was get some gauges.

I had a great experience here last night! I finally got my dream tattoo that Ive been wanting for 21 years. I was anxious but I did my research and this place did great work. Im so happy I came here! My tattoo is perfect, even working with my tough rhino skin, it looks amazing. Everyone loves it, especially my kids! I cant stop looking at the picture of it lol Im in love, thank you so much! Artists smoke inside the shop. The guy that tattooed me and my friend got irritated when we were asking to change the size of the tattoo. Definitely better places to go to

NO.....and before i could ask there min sit in fee the phone, on there end, was rudely hung up.can not give 0 stars... so that is why 1 star was ever given

I came in and asked for a piercing (Im getting a lip ring) the piercing its self was 30$ (way overpriced when you can get it for free at some stores) also the lip ring was 20$. I asked if I can buy just the lip ring without the piercing so I can have my friend pierce me. He said no, you have to buy the ring and the piercing. Complete bullshit.

I read a review about how this place was closed during hours that their website says it should be open I also went on a Friday at 2pm and they were closed. I called and checked their website and they didn’t answer I figured they were just busy. I know due to covid a lot of places are closed right now but they should update their hours on their website. I only read good things about this place so I wanted to check it out but this is the second time I’ve tried going this month and I won’t be going a third and risk it being closed again.

I love this place!!! I can’t wait to get more tattoos done by Danny ..

Pooor poor customer service ...idk what happened...but I called and asked if they do piercings the guy said with a rude tone No...so I asked can I get a quote on a tattoo amd he said No rudly....I mean geeze calm t.f. down dude...

Got my belly button done tonight it was fast and he was super patient with me which most arnt will def recommend and go back for any other tattoo or piercing needs
