Eli is extremely precise. his line work is great. he stayed within the dermis layer of my skin so well that this large piece is healing more comfortably than any other tattoo Ive had done. he did a 15x4 piece over my ribs and waist and was able to move quickly and efficiently, without sacrificing quality for speed. he made sure that the stencil was aligned better than I had imagined. Im beyond happy that I chose Eli to work on this because the waist has a lot of movement for the straight lined piece I asked for. it is somehow straight while sitting and while standing which is amazing - he lined it perfectly.I had also been having ragweed allergies before coming in, I didnt need the pack of tissues I brought because it was SO CLEAN, with such great air quality, that my allergies chilled after 10 minutes of being inside.Eli will make sure you are comfortable. I brought like 15 comfort items, candy, blueberries, 3 different drinks-he set me up a table to have access to my items.the quality of work is outstanding. outside of this, the atmosphere, friendliness, comfort level, and professionalism were top tier.much love to blue collar. I will be coming back and I will be bringing friends.

I get tattooed by Brent O’Leary every fall. I literally will not go anywhere else! The shop is spectacular. They have a real art vibe that does not feel like a typical tattoo shop! I would highly recommend these artists!

Went to see Brent for my first tattoo. What an impressive artist! He took my concept and created a wonderful, fluid piece that I am proud of and will cherish. The whole process was flawless, comfortable, and you can tell he cares about your experience. Loved talking with him for a few hours. Already thinking about the next one with Brent!

I recwnt got 2 tattooa done by John.I came in during business hours and was greeted at the door.Informed of what I wanted and kept good communication throughout the process of coming in to the point where tattoo was finished.Shop is super clean, super friendly.

Four family members go to Blue Collar Tattoo and it is the only place they will go. My daughter and son in law come from North Carolina to get their tats! Brent is their go to guy and is very creative and an artist!

I went to Blue collar a couple times for Eli and have always had the best experience. He is the absolute best and will make you feel so comfortable. They all are truly kind and patient, but Eli has always stood out. I have since recommended 3-4 people to him and recommend him all to you! Possibly going back soon!

John is a great artist and an amazing person. This was my first tattoo, and I was pretty nervous. He was very helpful and reassuring throughout the entire process. I highly recommend Blue Collar for any tattoo.

Brent OLeary has worked on me for almost a decade. The atmosphere is great and I appreciate the staff at Blue Collar; I always feel comfortable with Brent and I was recently introduced to Eli, who is also a very cool, very politically forward person. Cant say enough good things.

Been here for 4 different tattoos from Cody. He does an amazing job each time. Atmosphere in the shop is relaxed and comfortable. Have watched and listened to the other artist work, and they are all an amazing group. Cant wait for my next visit

Today Illinois crossed off my states to get tattoos in. I wanted the shop’s full logo on my arm but artistically it would not fit with my other tattoos 😢. A Great compromise worked up by John. He REALLY worked with me to make me happy and get most of the elements I wanted. I was Probably a horrible client today but I was treated with real class. I would absolutely recommend this shop.Joe takes real good care of his clients and the clients of his shop.Awesome work on short notice from out of town.

I went to Blue Collar for my very first tattoo. John was so incredible and helped me all along the way. He was very knowledgeable and helped me design the perfect tattoo. He did a beautiful job!

I had a piece done for my dog by Eli and I had such a good experience. He did a great job and really listened to what I wanted and also touched up some of my other pieces for an amazing price. Comfortable, clean, & professional. As a newbie into the tattoo world, and with an extremely out of the ordinary large custom drawing, they, specifically Brent, has gone out of his way to make this as comfortable a tattoo as can be expected. I have been sitting on this tattoo drawing for 2+ years and have had meetings with literally 7 different tattoo artists. I wanted this perfect and I have been overly anal about it. It’s on me for the rest of my life! Some guys wanted to change it, some wanted to rush it, some rubbed me the wrong way, Ect. I am in the middle of a string of sessions to complete my tattoo and I couldn’t be happier with the work. This is truly magazine quality work. During my many sessions, I have seen Joe & Cody’s work and they are truly talented and have perfected their craft. I have recommended 2 friends and 1 just had Cody do a personal tattoo on his arm. This place is hospital surgery room clean! These guys are extremely anal about cleanliness! This went a long way towards making me more comfortable. Highly recommend!

Very clean and very organized here. I highly recommend if you want to get a tat to get one from Jessica Beck!!! Shes very laid back and outgoing. She takes such pride in her art and it shows. Not to mention that out of all the tats I have the ones that Ive gotten from her were oddly near the point of almost being painless. She has some miracle magic touch that never fails to put her clients at ease and comforted. All this, and her mad skillz aside, the girl has a brain on her shoulders. She is well educated and has a degree in art and shes really going places. I look forward to getting another piece from her in the near future!!!

I really like this place! I would def go back. They fit us in last minute and did a such a great job. My only complaint is I think it was a little pricey but I would go back the staff was awesome!!!! Jessica was our artist and I would see her again!

DO NOT GO TO JESSICA BECK HERE. I had scheduled an appointment with her for my sister and I several months in advance. She messaged me to confirm the appointment the week of and asked if she could push it back a few hours. Even though we had a prior commitment, we rearranged our schedule and said okay. Then she pushes it back again because someone from out of town came in last minute to see her. After that, she tried to pawn off our appointment on her coworker. After we reluctantly agree, she tells me that he didnt even have an opening for us. THEN she asks to reschedule it AGAIN, trying to push it back another week because the out of town appointment that came in last minute was her cousin. After this I went to Uprise Tattoos and they got me in in two days! So, if you make an appointment here, do it with anyone BUT JESSICA.
