Ink Therapy Tattoo

My tattoo artist was Rich Millie. He was super nice and did great work on my arm! I had a design I drew that was important to me as my first tattoo and he did an amazing job. There were some pretty thin lines too. Cool guy!

Very professional and great staff, had Mr, biggins, hes sweet, funny and caring. Me and my best friend had our first ever tats done today and they are very impressive, had a bit of a family issue and was upset and he was able to cheer me up. I will be coming back! Thank you 🤘

This place is just incredible. So far, I’ve gotten 3 piercings and 1 tattoo here and counting! The piercer, Matt, is genuinely the only piercer I want to ever pierce me again. He’s so good at what he does that you can tell he’s been doing it about as long as I’ve been alive and that it comes as second nature to him. I recommend Ink Therapy to everyone who asks about my piercings because this shop is the best. It’s truly reputable and a comfortable environment with kind and knowledgeable staff.

I have been going to Rich for a few years now and he is hands down the best. He’s so welcoming and has such a good personality. He’s probably done like 15 tattoos on me or more and has absolutely killed it each time. I recommend him to everyone i know. I went to Ink Therapy Tattoo because where ever Rat is Im going. I loved this tattoo shop! So glad my artist came here. His co workers were very friendly and even their customers were nice and definitely satisfied! My tattoo is awesome Rat is very detailed, has great customer service skills, and quick at tattooing!! I also got a tongue piercing by Matt. Mat was patient and fast as well! I didnt even feel it when pierced. I also loved that he explained aftercare, let me ask quite a bit of questions, this shop also emailed after instructions. I hope my artist stays here, highly recommend to anyone!

My fiancée and I have been getting tattooed by Rich Millie for years now. He always takes care to be clean and careful to prevent any complications before during and after the session. I have gotten my chest (award winning), leg, right arm sleeve and most of my left arm all from him. I’d follow Rich Millie anywhere! I’ve been getting tattooed by Rich going on 4 years now and he’s always such a pleasure to work with. He’s incredibly creative, and can work with any idea you might have for a traditional style tattoo! I absolutely love this place! They have been the only people I go to! I had my nose pierced here a while ago, but just got my first tattoo after the other store flaked on us. We called and asked if it was possible to get on the books, but Mr.Biggins was able to get us in the same day! He was absolutely wonderful and did an amazing job on my tattoo! I have so much appreciation for this place and definitely will be back!

Got my very first tattoo today! At 40 I was definitely nervous! Stephen was awesome! He was so patient and made sure I got what I envisioned. He was really gentle and walked me through the process. I got a nose tattoo from Ava Ferguson and a tattoo from Chris McClean. This was my first time coming here and I will be a returning customer 100%. Both were amazing and so careful with their work. Ava was very precise on the nose piercing and I love it so much. Chris’s talent is so incredible. I got a small ladybug under my collarbone and it looks better than I imagined it would be. Beyond obsessed with my piercing ($80) and tattoo ($100), both great prices before tip! Loved my experience so much, thanks guys!

Took my daughter (8) to see Matt for earlobe piercings. He was absolutely amazing! He spoke directly to my daughter and explained everything to her in detail. He took his time and answered all of her questions. Matt was extremely thorough and helped relieve much of my daughter’s anxiety around the process. Scheduling was very easy and aftercare was clearly communicated. Definitely consider Matt for your next piercing!

I’m in town for a surgery and had an issue with my 6 month old earlobe piercing done at a different studio on the west coast. The front of my earring had receded back into my ear so far that you could only see dried blood from the front. Needless to say it was very painful and I was worried I’d lose the piercing. Ava took a look at it and luckily was able to save it. She was very calm and gentle. It definitely hurt to pull it back thru the front and replace the post with a larger one, but it hurt way less than I was preparing myself for, thanks to Ava’s ability and care. Definitely would recommend coming here for any piercing help you need!

Took my daughter to get her nose pierced for her birthday. Was told the piercing was 45 plus jewelry. Total ended up being 90. The only person there with any customer service skills was a guest artist. The girl (Ava) who did the piercing was so RUDE that I’m still thinking about it two months later. Usually tattoo shops are a place you can go and not have to deal with snobby/judgemental people. This place doesn’t fit that bill. I’ll never go back.

Came in to have my daughters (9) ears pierced. Matt was absolutely incredible, talked directly to my daughter to educate and comfort her. I heard him multiple times educate other customers as well as let them know the equipment was being sterilized. 10 outta 10 recommend!

RECCOMEND MATT FOR PIERCING!Yesterday, I went to Ink Therapy in Plainfield w/ a friend through her personal recommendation. I went to get my earlobes pierced for a THIRD TIME- the last two were when I was younger and they were done at a Claires. Because of the unprofessional setting, there is scarring on my right ear lobe. I was extremely nervous because of this, but the building is clean, with professional staff, and most importantly, theyre patient and listen to your concerns. The piercing are gorgeous and straight (cant say the same for when I first got them pierced as a child). I highly recommend Matt to anyone looking to get a piercing. Im planning to get my second cartilage piercing through him at a later date :) :)!!

Honestly , best experience getting a piercing i’ve ever had! everyone was so nice and chill and the place is so clean ( if you wanted to know abt hygiene) i will def be back for another piercing ! i totally recommend

Walked in on a Sunday evening to get my daughters nose pierced. Even with several in front of us we didn’t wait long. Ava was super friendly and made her feel at ease. She walked away really happy and loved the piercing. Great service and reasonably priced. Haven’t had any ink done, but did watch someone walk in & was in the chair within 30min. I’ve been to a few local shops and this was my favorite by far. Recently expanded into another building, shop is really nice and super clean. Thanks Ava, we’ll definitely be back.

Matt did my daith on my right ear on 11.18.22 and did FANTASTIC.It was about a 5.5/10 on the pain scale but pressure more than anything. I can barley notice it this next morning. Wasn’t very sore to sleep on. Definitely planning to go back for my other one in a few months!EDIT went back in today and got my left conch done by Ava , she did absolutely FANTASTIC! If Matt isn’t available I suggest Ava! She’s an apprentice at the moment but does the best job! Pain was about the same as the daith but a little more sharp!

Matt did amazing on my friend and I piercings! Hardly felt a thing! I was dreading getting re pierced last time was bad experience he was great n made us comfortable!

Steve did an awesome job on our tattoos and was very professional the entire time. He did my daughters first tattoo and made the experience great for her as we did mother/daughter tats. He gave his opinion on anything I was indecisive about, with his knowledge, which I appreciated. I will definitely be having him do all of my future artwork!

I went in for a piercing, and Matt was awesome. It took literally seconds and completley pain free. Couldnt have asked for a quicker and better experience.

- Stephen Keith was very nice and professional. He made me feel very at ease and relaxed for my first tattoo. He was respectful when I asked for a break and explained everything he was doing in depth, which was super helpful. If/when I get more tattoos, Stephen will be my first choice of an artist given his encouragement and kindness.- I have also gotten a couple of piercings here, and both Matt and Ava were awesome. I have had several questions about upkeep for my nose piercing, and they have been patient and kind with all of my questions. Matt made my piercing virtually painless, and my mom and I were very impressed with his work!

Ava did a wonderful job with my first helix piercing! She was very knowledgeable and thorough. The piercing itself didnt hurt at all, I was very surprised. I cant wait to go back and get more!

Matt and stephen were so great matt pierced my nose and my moms monroe and he was very quick but very thorough. we didn’t go in expecting to get tattooed but we were talking to stephen and he said he could fit us in that day he was very quick and our tattoos turned out amazing ! love this place we will definitely be going back.

I took my daughter to get her first nose piercing for her Birthday. They quoted me at $35 for piercing plus jewelry. No prices on jewelry posted and was given no receipt.$100 later and they will not be getting my business again. Jewelry is cheap and oversized. Shady to take advantage of people.

Got my forward nostrils pierced here around a month ago and it was a great experience. From the get go everyone was really friendly and helpful which I like bc other places act like they can’t be bothered to answer your questions. Will definitely be back for future work! Matt did a great job!

Dillon did an amazing job on my tattoo coverup. It was a very difficult design to cover and he did amazing. He was also very patient with my tattoo anxiety, which made all the difference. 10/10 would recommend.

We have been to Ink Therapy twice so far and love it. Most recently we stopped in to have my 9 y/o daughters ears pierced. Matt and Ava were fantastic with her. They were both super patient and made her feel super comfortable. Shes autistic so it really meant a lot to me that they were so respectful of her boundaries. My daughter got a tattoo from Devīne Agee. She did a beautiful tattoo with gorgeous detail. The studio was very clean and friendly staff. Plus, they have gorgeous jewelry for piercings. Much better selection then most studios.

Rich was great! I called looking to walk in and get something and he worked with me quickly and professionally! He was easy to talk to and the piece looks beautiful!

Took my son in to get station tonight and was given the run around from Ava about who he was! My oldest child tried to take him but couldn’t do it she said because it had to be a parent with his ID. I drive across town with his military ID and she told me that our names did t match so she would need my Marriage certificate showing the name change. Then said “ or his birth certificate “! First issue with that is, how many people are left in America with the same last name as their parent?! Secondly, state all of this before people show up when they call asking you what’s needed and thirdly, don’t have a smug, rude attitude when you speak to people as if we shouldn’t e there!!! Have respect for people trying to give you business. I wouldn’t let Ava pierce my cat!!! So RUDE! It’s a way to do business and that is not it!!

We came in and got out mother daughter tattoos that weve been talking about for a while. We are absolutely I love with them. Make sure you come and see Biggins! Hes amazing and so funny and makes you feel so comfortable and relaxed!!!

My daughter wanted her ears pierced and I chose to take her here. Matt is FANTASTIC. The shop was so nice, clean and every artist we encountered was incredibly friendly. Matt pierced her ears and was very clear in explaining aftercare. It’s tempting to go to Claire’s for a piercing because of price and their fast aftercare but don’t give in- come here instead. I left knowing my daughter had a great experience with someone who had studied their craft. Will come back for any and all services.

I have been here before for a walk in tattoo and that experience was great. Today, I went for a septum piercing and the experience was great! We were taken right away and Matt was very clear and helpful explaining everything we needed to know about cleaning and jewelry. I have had my septum pierced before and this was a much better experience. The location was clean and sanitized and they were very friendly.

Nick was awesome and gave me exactly what I wanted. We talked music and listened to the album my tattoo came from. Great ervice and definitely going back.

10 years ago Kenny Sloan did my first couple of tattoos at Ink Therapy. Recently, Biggins, did a piece for me also. Every time I’ve been there, the level of professionalism and cleanliness have been exceptional. The quality of tattoos that you can get from the artist here are top notch. If you take their advice, I can guarantee you won’t walk out with a bad experience.

Ink Therapy is probably the best shop in Indiana, in my opinion. I always visit Josh and Jimmie, but now I have work from one of their newer artists from an apprenticeship, Kate. Only two of my tattoos arent from this shop; Chris has done one, Jimmie has done two, Josh has done two, and Kate just did one. (The two tattoos I have that arent from an Ink Therapy artist are my least favorite ones, just saying.)

Mike did a great job on my tattoo! He’s very friendly and funny and made me feel very comfortable for my first tattoo!! He even let me come in earlier than normal hours to fit me in. He has great communication and gets the job done quickly. 10/10 would recommend going to him. I can’t wait to go back in the future to get more tats done by him.

Showed up right after noon on a Sunday. They were open, and someone was working the front counter. So far, so good. Was greeted by Mike Shaw who answered all our questions and worked us through all required forms (on an ipad -perfect). Mike gave my oldest his first tattoo and it looks great! It is exactly what my son wanted and it looks perfect. I also got a small tattoo by Mike immediately following my sons. Mine is excellent as well. We will definitely be back!Thanks Mike!

My husband and I had Matt do some piercings for us in a sensitive location. He made us feel really welcome and comfortable. Excellent quality of work with attention to the small details. Definitely will be back in the future to have more done.

I got my philtrum pierced by matt. He was amazing, the best piercer I have ever been to. He explained everything he was doing as he did it, and listened to the requests i had, as i have needle anxiety. Super professional, clean, and went out of his way to make me feel comfortable.The studio itself was also clean and inviting!

I really enjoyed getting my nose pierced here. The experience was lovely. However, when the jewelry broke I went back three times to try to get a new nose ring, and the person who is in charge was never there any of the times I went. I live in a different county, so to drive back repeatedly is not convenient. The hours say 12-9, but I was told that they keep the tattoo and piercing separate. If possible, could they staff someone so that the piercing could be available for the hours set, or communicate the hours of when the piercing part is open?

Im 11 and I got my ears pierced. The shop was clean and everybody was helpful and professional. Matt Vermillion did my piercings. He was patient and made sure I was completely ready. Hes excellent for kids piercings. Definitely would recommend!!!!

I brought my 10 year old granddaughter in to get her ears pierced and had Matt perform the piercing. He was very sweet and made her feel very comfortable. Explained what he was doing step by step. The individuals working there are amazing!! They explained the process of the piercing, sterilized everything in front of me and honestly were simply amazing!! They also referred us to a piercing person where we live so we can make sure everything heals properly! If you are ever looking for a great place for piercings, this is your place!!

Got on the website and saw that in the FAQ it says Must be at least 4 to get pierced... I drove the 30 to 40 minutes to get my 4 year olds ears pierced only to get there and to be told that the requirement is 5. The lady inside said it changed at the beginning of the year, which I understand, but it was VERY inconvient to drive all that way based on info on their website for it to be incorrect. Ill be taking her back in a month and a half when she does turn 5, and Im sure Ill change my rating, but just disappointed with this because they seem to be a very professionally ran shop with a nice running website.

Came to get my ears pierced and asked what the cost of jewelry was - the associate looked me in my eyes and told me the price of a singular piece starts at $150. Our shock was funny to the workers and they explained that they do not have cheaper jewelry, it was an awkward back and forth until my party left for more reasonably and transparently priced piercings elsewhere. NOTHING therapeutic about this place.

I went to Devon for a thigh piece and she absolutely killed it. I also had the opportunity to interact with other artists in the shop while I was having work done and they were all extremely personable and talented.Chris, who I believe is the owner, seems like a really great guy and talked a lot about the charity work they do as a shop.I would recommend this shop 10/10 for your tattoo needs.

Brad Warner does amazing work. Went to have a tattoo done in commemorative to a time In my life to people who helped me thru it. It turned out great. The area of the body was a spot most people didnt want to mess with since the ribcage is a sensitive area. Overall. Everyone there was friendly and pleasant to be around. I have already recommended this place and Brad to 3 others. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for sure!

Sierra did an amazing job with my rib tattoo. It had been 10 years since my last tattoo and she made me feel comfortable & relaxed during the entire session. I’ll be using her from now on and highly recommend for anyone looking to get their next tattoo!

My sister and I took my young daughter in because she kept saying she wanted her ears pierced. Matt did ear piercings for both myself and my sister, and was so great working with my daughter up until the point she decided to bail prior to the needle. Matt was AMAZING with her - he explained the each step, was gentle, and was so understanding when she decided she didnt want her ears done right now (one of his rules is your body your choice and its so great to hear an adult reinforce that with a child).We WILL be back when she is ready for her ears because of our great experience with Matt!!! I definitely will be back for additional ear piercings, and my littlest is saying she wants her ears done, so he has another little in the queue for when she is finally old enough.

I’ve been to Ink Therapy twice, one time for a tattoo and the other for a nose piercing. Both experiences were great. The place is clean, the artists are super helpful. For my tattoo, I brought in a copy of my dogs paw print that I wanted on more forearm. Biggins was able to get me in same day, super convenient! Paw print turned out even better than I had pictured. Second time I went in was to get my nose pierced. I just wanted a simple stud piercing, Matt was also able to accommodate same day! Pricing for both services was very affordable. They also offer gift cards. I would recommend Ink Therapy to anyone interested in getting a tattoo or piercing in the Indy area!

In all honesty I dont frequent tattoo and piercing shops all that often. I did go in today with my daughter to get her ears pierced as her birthday present based on my girlfriends recommendations. I found a shop to be super friendly, professional and clean there was some weight involved but understandably so. Observed that theres a lot of returning satisfied customers which is usually a good thing. Should I decide to rework any of my tattoos or get a piercing again I will definitely go back to Ink Therapy.

Brad Biggins is amazing! I called in just one day prior to come in for a small tattoo and the next day he personally called me and was able to fit me in during the end of his availability. It was a fantastic price, a wonderful dark pigmented piece, and he made me feel completely comfortable the entire time. 10/10 would recommend getting your tattoo from him!

Super clean. All the artists are super friendly but totally professional. My tattoo came out amazing. Recommend scheduling your tattoo bc the artists all seem to be in high demand. I’ve gotten two tattoos done here a few years ago, and they did a great job, but I wanted to buy some earrings for my friend who had gotten her ears pierced there about a year prior. The piercer was very rude and short with me. I wasn’t there to get anything done, I just wanted to purchase earrings so I’m not sure why he was so annoyed with me. There are no jewelry prices listed on their website and there’s no prices on the actually jewelry in the store so you have to ask how much each item is. I almost just walked out purely on his attitude, but I decided on a gift card because I still wanted my friend to have something nice, but I was done dealing with them. I talked to 3 different employees in the 10 minutes I was there and they were all rude. I understand everyone is overworked and underpaid, but that doesn’t mean you have to be rude to everyone.

This place is super clean which is the first thing I always notice in a tattoo shop. Staff is very friendly. Ive had several tattoos from different artists here. Biggins is my favorite but always booked so you have to make an appointment in advance and put down a $50 deposit to book with him. Well worth it though. Matt Vermillion is an amazing piercer. He has done 4 for me and is very professional. I highly recommend this shop. You wont be disappointed!

Got my tattoo from Stephen Keith. Loved it! Normally I can’t even stand getting a shot but he has soft hands. Can’t wait to go back and get another one

Got my nose pierced here tonight. the apprentice was very nice and was willing to talk to my boyfriend and I while we waited. Matt was amazing and didnt make me feel rushed or nervous at all. I strongly agree when people say hes is the best piercer in Indiana.

Im not good with needles at all but I wanted my tongue pierced. My piercer was Matt and he was really nice about relaxing me and making jokes to make sure i was ready. He made the process simple and easy. Afterwards I was dizzy and shaky and he noticed before anyone and helped me to a bench and brought me candies and soda to help my sugar get back up and stayed with me until i was able to leave. I will definitely go back for any other piercings I want.

Got my septum pierced and Matt is an amazing worker! he was kind, and explained everything before hand. made the piercing process so easy and fast. will definitely come again:)

Came in, asked for a Prince Albert piercing, given paperwork, filled it out, seen within 30 minutes.Piercer was Matt very professional for having my member in his hands or fingers cuz my man just said nah man no thanks and hid.Anyway, wanted to start at he said 6ga but my anatomy didn’t allow for it (split urethra?) so he down sized to 10ga for the piercing.All in all very happy with the experience. Pain subsided quickly

I was able to get in quickly and was even offered to get my tattoo done the day I went in to schedule an appointment. I chose to schedule instead and was back within a week. Im very happy with my tattoo and the price was very reasonable.

Went in a couple months ago to get my septum pierced, even though the shop was busy they made sure to send someone out every few minutes to make sure i had an update on time. Ink Therapy is dope. I went with my sister in February and worked with Mike Shaw. Mike tattooed both of us in a timely and affordable session. Mike worked with us to make sure we were getting what we wanted and we are both happy with those to this day. I came back last week, for a second from Mike and he outdid himself. This dude is a pro. The shop is clean and everyone there seems legit friendly. I scrolled the reviews and decided to write one specifically for Mike Shaw (2 Mikes), because I dont think hes gettin the credit he deserves. I was hesitant to write this review, because dude is already busy and I want to go a bunch-

I went to Ink Therapy to have my first tattoo done randomly today! I walked right in, was greeted immediately, and was in and out within about 30-40 minutes. It was clean and everyone was super friendly. Brad (Biggins) did my tattoo for me and was SO nice and did an amazing job! Super super happy and will definitely be referring Ink Therapy to friends looking to get tattoos and will most definitely be returning!

I could not recommend this shop more for your piercing needs! Matt always goes above and beyond. He is a perfectionist and takes care of his clients to the best of his ability. He knows and understands what he is doing, and it shows. He is meticulous about every aspect of his job as well. Every piercing I have, besides my lobes, have been done by him, this includes septum, nostril, traditional medusa (philtrum), smiley, vertical philtrum, conch, industrial, and nipples, and I could not be happier. The atmosphere he gives you is open and comfortable. He answers any concerns you may have and helps you immensely to feel comfortable. I will never go anywhere else.

Shop looked clean and well maintained. I was greeted as soon as I walked in but there was a 3 week wait for a tattoo. This is often ok for someone that is working with an artist to design their tattoo but a little aggravating if you are ready for ink. Their pricing is very reasonable and the work I’ve seen is impressive. Remember: A good tattoo isn’t cheap, and a cheap tattoo isn’t good.

I had a trauma scar on my arm that I had been hiding for 11 years. I hadnt worn a short sleeve shirt in 11 years. I tried different methods to try to improve the scar including plastic surgery but everything failed. I told my daughter Id like to cover it with a tattoo so she drew a beautiful tattoo for me. I finally got the nerve to look for an artist. I searched the internet intensively and read all kinds of reviews. I found Ink Therapy Tattoo Shop. When I saw Sierras portfolio I thought her style was just what I was looking for. I was so nervous. It was a huge event for me because this scar has been crippling me in a way for years. Always wearing long sleeves when its hot outside and never feeling air on my arms. People always asking why Im wearing long sleeves when its 90 degrees outside. Well Sierras changed that for me. She took my daughters sketch and put her own special touches on it and made a beautiful tattoo for me. I cant even tell that I ever had a scar its completely covered. Where the scar once was theres a beautiful locket with flowers. I still cant believe its gone. She worked so hard to get it just perfect. She takes pride in her work. She really wanted to help me. Also the shop is very nice and the artists are welcoming and fun to hang out with.

My wife wanted a new tattoo and had been to Ink Therapy for a previous one. When she stopped in, she learned the artist had moved on to another shop. She was given the card of Josh Jackson. She made an appointment and I went with her to keep her company, although turned out it wasnt necessary. Josh is a very laid back, easy going young man that was so funny and entertaining the time just flew by. Her tattoo was really very simple as they go, but he didnt make her feel bad for it being below his skills level. His pics are really quite impressive, so if you want a detailed tat, he can do it. In the end, my wife loves her new tat and hopes Josh will be around Ink Therapy for a long time! Thanks Josh!

Ive been dealing with the guys at Ink Therapy since I first started getting body modifications. They are truly professionals, and excellent at what they do. The piercer, Tyler, has done all of my piercings, and I would not trust anyone else without consulting him first. Hes involved with the Association of Professional Piercers, who set the standard for quality in the piercing industry. He recently hooked me up with some amazing jewelry from Anatometal, and Ive never been so happy. I guess you dont know what its like to have truly quality jewelry until you have it in your body. I had titanium before, and it did not feel this smooth and absolutely great. I can hardly feel that its in there, and I have 5 body piercings. I would never even think about going to a different shop. Matter of fact, I drive about 4 hours to go to this one.

I met with Matt V. for a multiple percing visit. He really put the extra time into my project. Using his 12 years of experience to insure that it came out just right. The shop couldnt be any cleaner, the tools couldnt be any better, and the quality is amazing. I recommend Matts work to anyone.

Called the day before about getting on the schedule for a get what you get tattoo for two of us. Mike clearly didnt write it down as it was a surprise when we showed up this evening. I even offered to pay a deposit over the phone, which he declined and stated if you show up....He then proceeded to have a very Im above this attitude when I asked how long it would take to get us in. We left and didnt return due to the vibe. This was supposed to be a silly adventure for two best friends who have been craving some new ink. Very disappointed.

Don’t bother trying to look at portfolios and choose your artist based on style. The good artists only take big jobs and will pawn you off to the newbie cartoon artists. Not a style I permanently want on my body; especially as a physician. Go to a shop where the owner does all the tattoos themselves.

Called to get a qoute to have my daughters ears pierced. Stayed with the jewelery I was quoted on. When I got there not only were they rude but they had a list for piercings going and didnt bother to put us on it, just told us to sit down and wait. When I finally talked to Matt he told me the price would be over double what I was quoted. Nearly $300 to pierce ear lobes on a child? No thanks.

I am sooooo happy I chose to go to Nick Lynch because he perfectly executed the start of my flower garden sleeve. I gave him very loose instructions, so he could be creative as possible and he didnt disappoint. I would highly recommend this place for their cleanliness, creativity, and quality work.

I have used ink therapy and I know the owner Chris who is a really good dude. That being said I wont be going back here due to the staff there, the most rude piercer I guess he doesnt realize how you should treat customers. If I were you Id go to artistic in avon after we left ink therapy we went over there and the treatment was exactly what we deserved.

I went in to get my nose pierced and had heard horror stories about how bad it hurt. I am 30 and have wanted one for 15 years, so I finally went in to do it. Matt (the piercer) was on his way out, but waited for me when my brother went to inquire if they were open. He was amazingly professional and made me feel very comfortable. He helped me pick a stud and the piercing itself was damn near painless. Even now, days later, no pain at all (except once when I blew my nose and forgot I had it :) I cant speak to the tattoo artists, but Matt is epic, and very professional. I am totally going back. Got my first tattoo here 2 years ago - it still looks amazing. Going to have a second done this year and will have Chris do that one too.When i researched places to get my tattoo, I started by asking people who had awesome tattoos. After 2-3 people said Ink Therapy, I was sold...and still happy with my choice!

Went here for my first tattoo and my piercings. Amazingly clean and everyone was very friendly and open to both conversation and questions. I dont trust anyone else to do it! (I drove an hour and a half to get my piercings done after I moved) Hoping to get in touch for my next tattoo, which is the only bad thing I have to say about them, is that it can be hard to get in contact. I had to march in for my first tattoo lol.

Place was clean and i was immediately greeted with a smile but the piercer was no help. I actually left without getting anything because he was not pleasant to talk to. My boyfriend got his nose done by him and couple months ago and had the same opinion. Hm.

I reached out to Schultz but he was booked out, which I expected—not a problem. The email I got was polite and gave me Cierra’s phone number to text, saying she would be a good fit for my needs. I never got a reply from Cierra via text/phone call. I then found her email on their website and sent her a message. I also left a message at the shop for her but never got a call back. When she did send me an email response 5 days later, Cierra was very unprofessional. I politely told her I was looking to work with someone punctual as that is important to me. It took several days to get the initial response but no time to get another blaming it on my expectations, stating that “no artists here answer their emails every single day…I reply to emails once a week, same as many artists.” Again, I told her I was looking to work with someone more punctual and professional and she said that the email was automated and “sorry I don’t have automated response set up like he does. Good luck.” Again rude, unnecessarily. While I have never had a bad piercing or tattoo consult experience there before, I will never refer people to Cierra.

Put a deposit down in a tattoo. Was NEVER informed it was non refundable. Never signed any papers. Took their word. Had family emergency and couldn’t make it. When I went it to discuss options they immediately interrupted me, and In a hateful and very disrespectful way informed me that they do NOT care about any circumstance that we will not get our money back. I even called the morning of to let them know of my circumstances and they told me I could come pick it up. Very unprofessional. Like I was trying to cheat them. Have given them plenty of business in the past and have sent others there. Good work or not, very rude and unfriendly. Wouldn’t even let me talk to explain Anythhg. Prices too high as well.

Everyone there is professional and talented artists. If you are in that area and have choices to make for shops I suggest you choose these folks.The work is above and beyond and nobody leaves until they say its done. Im going in next month to see Boat to fix a bad job by another artist and I know it will come out a masterpiece... Although this will be my first trip there I know the folks there from other shops. The phone may ring and ring but its because they are all busy. Just go in and see for yourselves and check out the portfolios of the artists there you wont be disappointed...

Alex just finished a tattoo on my father at the Mohegan sun convention. The tattoo came out pristine, absolutely beautiful work. He took his time, put together the artwork we asked for beautifully and him and his wife are wonderful.

Extremely Unprofessional. I went up there to talk to Chris, the owner, about getting a tattoo. I could not keep his attention because of his young teenage daughter (she was sitting behind the jewelry counter and kept hollering Dad at him). He was more worried about getting a deposit than answering my questions. I left there without scheduling, though he did not seem bothered by it. Customer satisfaction is not at the top of the lis heret. The place is nice, but looks can be deceiving. VERY unprofessional. I would not recommend.

Matt Vermillion Did a piercing for me( My Septum) actually and Did a AMAZING JOB!!!I was really nervous going in for some reason and he was super nice and Really Gentle with me When we were all set up to do the piercing He walked my thru it step by step talked really calm and did the piercing with as little pain as could be expected and told me good instructions for me to clean it and told me what exactly what to get. Also The next couple days he checked on me how I was doing. I have NEVER had that happen EVER!! I Most Defiantly will be going back to him and to Ink Therapy for anything the shop is very clean and its not your typical Tattoo/Piercing Shop. In a sea of tattoo shops who should you choose!? I am 48 years old and had 4 different shops tattoo me over the years. Then my kids steered me to Shultz at Ink Therapy. They are friendly, clean, helpful, love good music and have a cool shop. I drive from Greenwood to go there! I have 3 shops within 1 mile of my house......nuff said.

Never been here, but got recommended Kenny Slone by a friend of mine. She spoke very highly of his work, and so I reached out. I sent my requested artwork and was told it would be a $100 nonrefundable deposit to get the contact info for the artist.I paid the money despite my skepticism at having to pay $100 just to speak to the artist. I paid on the 25th of August and was told he had received my deposit the next day. I texted him twice, the first time on August 27th and then again on September 4th. On the 9th of September I emailed the assistant again asking about why I didnt hear from him. I got an email stating he was on vacation.I didnt hear anything else until the 17th when I received a text message from Kenny stating that he was scheduling for December. I immediately responded by asking which days he had available.It is now October 30th and I received another email from his assistant asking if I ever got in touch with him.I have to say that I wasted $100 dollars to talk to an assistant and if this is the customer service they have then forget it. I will take my business somewhere else. Not that it matters to them, but idgaf anymore.

Kody Adams with Ink Therapy took a $100 Deposit from my under age son. They gave him no paperwork for the deposit. I tried to contact the manager about this and was cursed out. Please be careful with the shady practices this company does. The manager said it’s not there policy to check I D!
