Went in for 2 tats in one week, Moi was awesome! Took his time in making sure I was happy with my design and not rushing to get me in and out. Charged a great price for the work. All other tattoo artist there were awesome as well, they came over and gave healthy criticism and even helped add ideas onto my piece. Trusting an artist with a vision is never easy. Its more about gearing yourself up to communicate effectively, say what you like and dont like, and then trust someone youve maybe never met before to change your skin permanently. In the case of ana incredibly talented artist, it might also mean scheduling a year in advance. My original artwork (I got when I was 18) will turn 18 on December 24th and I felt like it needed an update without losing the original concept.Jared Archuleta is a talented artisan and it was more than worth the wait. Because its been so long since my last tattoo I really didnt know what to expect. But I knew from watching Jareds work for over a year that he had the skills to do what I wanted of only I could just manage to communicate what I wanted.He took my nerves, adult lack of pain tolerance, and ideas in stride and not only revived my little foot tattoo, he also managed to rennovate it into something I really love and cherish that has a refreshed meaning and purpose for me. Sadly, I couldnt make it through my whole session but this is already so much better than anything I could have imagined.Thanks Jared!

I had a 40 year old chest tattoo with banner that needed to be.....fixed. The artist was Jason. I wasnt expecting the final result that Jason provided. You can tell when an artist is serious about their work. Jason took a piece that was not his, and changed it to what the piece should have been 40 years ago. The banner was not only blackened, but shaded with other colors. The heart was shaded correctly and now actually looks like a heart. Color was pounded in like you would want. The price..... well lets say I hope the tip helps with the effort put in.Beyond expected is all I can say. Jason thanks a lot.

Had a wonderful experience getting my septum pierced. Ace was super nice and comforting plus they were really quick. A wonderful atmosphere too! Definitely going there again for any other piercings or tattoos I want in the future

My fiance and I went to the shop and Jason hooked us up. He was very accomodating and did an amazing cover up of an old tat my fiance had been going to laser removal treatments for a year and a half to try and get removed. I have been seeing Ace for my tattoos since she was in Virginia. My partner and I flew out to see her and get some work done. The shop here is very clean and everyone was super friendly, and my experience with Ace was fantastic as usual.We communicated back and forth about the design, I was sent pictures before hand and I could not wait. The final piece came out better than I could have imagined. She always puts so much heart into her work. Its great to have work from someone who truly loves what they do. I love this shop! The first thing I noticed was the cleanliness (huge deal) you can tell alot about a shop by whether its clean or not! I had an appointment with Marco Garcia, usually tattoos can be awkward, but he was professional, cleanly , and even fit in time for my friend from out of state! Hes great with lettering and freestyle (from my experience) ! Love this shop will definitely be back!

I have gone to spellbound for my most recent tattoos and septum piercing and have to say that the service and talent they have there is amazing. Ace did my septum piercing and was quick and descriptive with what was going on and what I would need to do for aftercare. I went to Noelia for three of my tattoos and I absolutely love how they all turned out. She is incredibly talented and the details and shading in the tattoos are amazing. She is dedicated and super kind, keeping what you want and your comfort in mind through out the whole process. Truly a great experience every time and I plan to keep the streak going with Noelia at Spellbound!

I must be one of the only customers to have an awful experience. Was here a couple years ago, extremely disappointed in what I got compared to what I saw online. I gave several photos for inspiration as to what I wanted (3 weeks in advance) because I wanted an original piece of art.. he referenced one photo and drew on me in sharpie directly after reviewing what Id sent.. I thought, no way is he doing the lines that bold and thick compared to that delicate tattoo in the photo.. I described again what I wanted, and noticed he was doing the shading in the wrong direction than Id asked.. after it was too late 🤦🏻‍♀️ I get asked if I got car grease on my arm where the shading was supposed to fade.

I had my work done by Mahae and she was awesome. With it being my first tattoo she explained everything that she was doing and made sure I stayed comfortable the entire time. Highly recommend.

Had an appointment, when we got there the guy drew up our tattoos asked for ID and then said he couldnt find something. Said another artist could help us in an hour and a half and he was leaving. We decided to take our business somewhere else.

I would give a better rating if the Addy artist would finish my memorial for my deceased mother on my arm that I paid full price for upfront and finish my brothers chest memorial piece he paid upfront for also. We choose Addy because of her vibe, attitude, and charisma. She started my tattoo 2 years ago in may 2018 and did 2 session and hasnt complete the work. She hasnt returned calls,texts, or messages and this is very unprofessional. I would stop by randomly and ask employees if she was working and the same answer Everytime shes not here. Reading reviews about this place and other tattoo studios have said dont go to spellbound tattoo. They over charge for amateur work trying to make a name for themselves. Ive only lived in Colorado a little over 2 years and didnt know any better. My opinion dont go here for a sentimental or memorial tattoo. Cartoon, writing, flower, fruit tattoos that you learn how to draw in art school or 8th grade art class best describe this business establishment. Now I cant say that all the artist are bad but I would look other places just in case. Ive also wrote on Yelp and BBB board as well. Good day

My BFF and I had been planning to get tattoos together for nearly 2 years, and FINALLY I was able to visit her in Pueblo, and we went to Spellbound to make it happen. Our tattoos were little and simple, but Addy took her time to make them PERFECT because even tiny tats are forever. Im 35, a mother of 3, and this was my first tattoo! Addy even text us care instructions, answered questions we had days after the tattoos, and made the whole experience fun and exciting! Thanks Addy! Its so freaking cute. ;)

Overall my experiences with this company have been extremely poor. I will start by saying that 2 of the employees have been amazing and were extremely friendly but other than the 2 of them the experience has been appalling. we have been lied to had our time wasted, prices constantly changing the artist havent been up front or clear and not professional in any since of the word. we were extremely excited to try this shop out after meeting maddelyn at the fair her personality, enthusiasm and passion really drew us in she set us up with another artist who could care less about his clients or work and completely ignored us when we came up for our appointment. then we spoke to Addy who like maddelyn was amazing and was doing everything she could to fix the situation caused by the other artist then when we came back in to see her we were to get the work done we were informed that she was not working today and when she would be in then had another artist talk to us who was talking to us like we had never had a tattoo done before and we were children he was completely demeaning and kept trying to over play the process to trump up the prices by the time he was done a $100 tattoo was up to $350 for 12 letters so basically if you want to be lied to, treated like trash and a child and be over charged this is a great place for you if you want someone to take pride in the work they are doing, treat you right and be fair on pricing go someplace else. again I would like to state this doesnt apply to Maddelyn or Addy they are absolutely amazing and I would let either of them tattoo me or my submissives any time. if by some weird chance these issues get fixed Ill update this review but as of now as far as Im concerned most of the artist here arent worth the time of day. and as a side note while I didnt talk to him about specifically having work done Drew was extremely kind and has a real passion for his work.

I called to set up an appointment for a nose piercing for myself and my daughter. He gave me the information needed to contact but then I asked him what all I would need for my daughter who is under 18. He is going through the list and then he says and your last names have to match! Ummm what? I’m divorced she has her dads last name so your telling me your going to discriminate against us because we have different last names? Wow! I’ll take my business elsewhere! Per the owners response! If you were there than you would have heard me ask him 3 times if he was serious about having matching last names! You would have also heard me ask him “wouldn’t that be discriminating requiring a child to have matching last names as a parent?” If you were there you would have heard your employee repeat 3 times to me that yes it is required to have matching last names!

I got my belly button pierced for 20 bucks here, the piercer and their apprentice were so nice. Quick and easy too. Will come back here

I have worked here at this shop and have been a customer as well both times I have had nothing but great experiences with all the staff that works there Jared and Drew have been there the lonest and I had the pleasure of working with both guys and have been tattooed by both as well I highly recommend Spellbound and all artist. Came here all the way from Lubbock Tx to get a tattoo from here. Joel did a great job on me and my husbands tattoos. We got king and queen crowns for our 21st year anniversary. We love them.

Sam Hudson has the best linework and shading. He was an artist before getting into tattooing. Absolutely trust in his ability. He has done 6 tattoos for our family so far. Many, many more to come.

I received tattoos from Jared Archuleta and Drew Romero and both were very professional. The tattoo shop was clean and other artists are very friendly. I have also went to a tattoo convention and the artists were still very professional and clean. Great shop. High recommend.

Jillian Marie is the most unprofessional point of contact for artists. She took 3 deposits for appointments during a convention, artists cancelled the show, she said we would be refunded. And now shes a ghost. Word of mouth is everything.Sad thing is, she isnt even an artist. She is a liaison for artists. But definitely bad for business.

Had an appointment set 4 days in advance. I show up for the appointment and the guy tells me he thought he let me know that he had to push out my appointment and had someone else scheduled in my spot. Well, he did not message me, he did not let me know, and if you have an appointment already, dont put someone else in their spot. As im leaving the shop, the guy tells me I shouldve set a deposit as thats the protocol. Well if its protocol why didnt you ask me for a deposit 4 days ago when I made the appointment? Super unprofessional and frustrating. Would not recommend at all.

This place is great one of the best in town hands down the place is very clean and everyone is so nice and Profesional I was on a road trip and was looking for a place who could do a walk in, altho I got my tattoo the next day it was ok because I was in town for 2 days wich they made it woek for me. great upcoming profecionals here if not the best my artis @nastyboymoi has the cleanest lines and great attention to details he took care of me and honestly one of the best artist Ive ever got tatted with. I would fly or drive there just to get tatted there.

Terrible, I had Marco do a half sleeve for me. He wouldnt make time for another session. I ended up going to another tattoo shop because of how bad the service was. Worst tattoo shop you could go to. Definitely just because Marco works there.

Although they do accept walk ins, they dont really want them or assist them. We walked in and were greeted with, do you have an appointment and how long will you be in town. Walk in does not usually mean to come in and we will see if we can get you in within a day or two. Also, they make things up for the reply to this review and call me entitled. Its funny because that is also the way they acted in person. In response to every bad review, they blame the customer.
