Reno Tattoo Removal

In response to the owner, I’m sorry you’re feeling attacked that wasn’t my intention. I tried to provide a fair review based on my experience. The area I had lasered at another clinic was the same density (same tattoo just a different part of it), so to say it was lighter and not the same blackout or even the same tattoo isn’t accurate. You did offer to lower the settings for my next session because they weren’t the lowest the first time so that’s a bit confusing. I think it’s important to share that you believe these results are normal but my doctor is concerned about the scarring and loss of pigment, so again I’m sorry that upset you and again appreciate the customer service and refund.——I unfortunately cant recommend RTR based on my outcome. The customer service was top notch and it was easy to schedule the appointment and communicate. But after my one session my treatment area is scarred and may have permanent pigmentation loss. I texted them about this and sent pictures and they told me it was very normal and I just needed to be patient and let my skin heal, that there is no possibility of scarring from laser treatment and that pigment loss is common. But my dermatologist and a second doctor both confirmed that I have significant and permanent scarring caused by second degree burns from the laser treatment I received at RTR, as well as potentially permanent loss of pigment, neither of which are normal or should be experienced with laser tattoo removal. After 3 months I havent seen any improvement in my skin damage and have scars from the two weeks of blisters that occurred from my one session. I have since had a session on the other side of my arm with a different clinic and had no blisters, scarring, or pigment loss, but am already seeing great ink removal, so it is not that I am prone to blistering or sensitive to laser removal. RTR did refund my money which I really appreciated, but Im very concerned that they werent concerned about my skin damage and told me that it was normal when it isnt.

Very fast, very professional, and very sanitary.When I first got to the building I was skeptical and scared, but I talked to Kaden. He made me feel extremely comfortable and walked me through the process. Today was my first session ever and I’m scheduled for an 8 week follow up. It stung, but totally worth it. I will update the progress in 8 weeks. :)

Reno Tattoo Removal has been wonderful. The location is easy to find with parking right out front. The shop is clean, the staff is very responsive through the text line provided on their website, health and safety are top priority, and there is never any hassle if I need to reschedule. Customer service for scheduling was exceptional they answered all of my questions. Actually having the procedure better experience got seen on time no wait. The man who performed the procedure extremely considerate and answered any questions. The procedure was not even as bad as I thought. I highly recommend this place. Also this place is extremely clean thats always something to look for.

These guys are 5 star for a reason. Ron is super cool, down to earth and is a true professional. I went in without lidocaine lasted about 1 min. He hooked me up with some lidocaine and had me come back about an hour later to try again. Happy to say I had very little discomfort. He cares about his clients.

This is the place to go if you want quality work with very reasonable pricing. Everyone I spoke with is very professional, knowledgeable, and eager to provide the best care. Their style and service are top notch.

I cannot speak for their physical results, but I contacted them about getting a possible removal and their customer service was outstanding! They messaged me back within like 10 minutes and answered all of my questions. Completely free of charge.

Kaden did my tattoo removal/correction which was right up against an existing tattoo, I was worried it would affect the other tatooo but he was so precise and professional! Highly recommend this place if you need a tattoo fix or removal!

The appointment was quick and easy, and I experienced minimal discomfort. The aftercare instructions are clear and helpful. I was so nervous! Made me feel at ease and talk to me through the whole process. It’s gonna be a long one, but I’m confident I made the right choice.

These guys make it easy. Great communication from start to finish. The first session took about a minute or so. Yes it hurt but nothing out of the ordinary if you get tattooed. (You probably have if youre getting one removed) They have a clean environment and a friendly staff. Check them out.

After YEARS of wanting to remove a certain tattoo on my lower back I finally did the research and found Reno Tattoo Removal. My text was quickly replied to and followed up by a lengthy one with all the information I could have asked. I made my first appointment and arrived slightly nervous. Ron was great! He was kind and patient and made me feel very comfortable. The session lasted apx 15 min all at my pace or rather pain tolerance but I did it. Even while I felt like a wimp he encouraged me and let me know that I was in fact, not! It was wonderful to hear how excited he was that this would be a successful removal once said and done. I go back in 8 weeks, this time with some pre-applied numbing cream and I can’t wait. It wasn’t so bad after all.

Im not blessed with the greatest brows & had them done this summer but wasnt 100% happy with the result for multiple reasons. Reno Tattoo Removal was recommended to me & I decided to go for it & am glad I did. I was able to text Melanie regarding a quote, questions about what to expect, booking my appointment & she was quick to respond. Their location was easy to find, their business is clean/inviting, staff was kind & professional. Ron performed the procedure & talked me through what he was doing & no surprises while he was operating the laser. The procedure is like a rubber band snap as they said it would be & the cold air he used was helpful in making the procedure more tolerable. The procedure went very quick for the brow removal which was great. I could immediately see the difference & I only regret not having it done sooner. I had a very mild burning sensation after the procedure which for me resolved within 1hr after. The area was slightly swollen & turned a red hue color but nothing drastic & was as they explained it would be. I was quoted & paid $150 which was much less then what I was expecting & worth it. I booked a future appointment in 6 weeks but once fully healed I may be able to cancel. Im genuinely pleased with my experience as a whole & would HIGHLY recommend their services to anyone in need of a tattoo removal!

Everything about this business is great! Scheduling was easy and smooth, and both sessions I had were as quick and easy as possible. As someone who has never had laser tattoo removal, I don’t think it could have gone any better. I’ll be moving out of the area but if I am back I will make sure to come here for another session. Ive yet to meet the other half of the venture, but the gentleman who has done laser on my unfortunately AWFUL brow microblading is wonderful. He is friendly, professional, and has done a great job. I moved for a bit and tried a laser place in Sacramento whose staff had no idea what they were doing. It was a waste of time and money and its been worth the drive back to Reno to be able to keep going here to RTR.

Had my first tattoo removal session today and it was a AMAZING!From the friendly and informative initial text quote from Melanie, to the actual laser removal session with Ron, I was blown away by how pleasant my experience was at Reno Tattoo Removal.I have a small stick and poke tattoo on my pinky that I am getting removed. The laser part was a little painful (which I expected), but it was over in a few seconds and was honestly super cool to watch. Ron was awesome - he talked me through the whole process and gave very clear, easy-to-follow aftercare instructions. It was my first tattoo removal and they did a great job explaining every detail of the process and made really excited about getting it rather than as nervous as I was walking in. I have visited Reno tattoo removal 3 times so far and have no complaints. Both Ron and Melanie explain the removal process very clearly. They are both very friendly which has helped me relax. Candy is also received at the end of the session, so how can you go wrong with that? 😁

Today was my second session of tattoo removal. I must say working with Ron and Melanie is amazing because when you hear laser removal it’s a scary thought! Their office is super cute, easy to find and very welcoming. The wait time has been no more than 5-8 minutes and the process is even shorter than that! My appointment was at 12:45pm I got there 5 minutes early and in and out of their office by 1pm, noting that my tattoo is on the smaller side so if you have a larger tattoo I would add maybe at most 15-20 minutes but that’s just me estimating (I don’t do this for a living). They are very easy going people who love what they do and once you meet them you’d understand what I’m say. One feature that they use is texting so if you ever need to make an appointment and just don’t have the time to call, you can shoot them a text message and they respond fairly quickly. They also send a text message with a reminder of your appointment time and date.During the process you’ll sign consent forms during your first session. Next they’ll take you to the very clean room with the laser removal machine and from there they explain the process and once you’re ready the process will begin. Starting out you have very cold air hitting the body to help compensate the laser, which helps out tremendously, and then the laser. If I were to describe the feeling of the laser, it feels like how an old time tattoo process was when the needle is attached to a stick and it’s being hit up and down off the skin (I’ve never had the process but that’s what I believe it’d feel like), and popping noises. The process is quick, straight to the point, and done within minutes. The aftermath of laser removal feels like a sunburn that is irritating but only in that one spot and lasts for about a day or two.Overall, I’ve had non-laser removal and laser removal and I personally enjoy laser removal way more than non-laser removal. I am thankful to have found these amazing people to help me in my journey of removing my tattoos.

Ron and Melanie are the best! These are two good honest people who obviously care tremendously about their business and their clients. I went to Reno Tattoo Removal with a dark nasty 7”x4” tatt from hell on my arm. The thing was 26 years old and I’d hated it for at least 20. I thought about getting it lasered over the years but just couldn’t seem to trust anyone with the task, plus I figured it was going to be expensive. After reading Ron and Melanie’s reviews, I finally decided to give it a shot. Upon arriving at their parlor, I was very impressed. Their professionalism, cleanliness, great easy to find location with unlimited neighborhood street parking, just a very comfortable experience all around. The coolest thing was that they charge you to remove the tatt, not per session. This is a big deal because tatts can be stubborn, as mine was, but Ron never gives up. You pay once and he’ll work on the evil tattoo until it’s gone. That’s a sign of true honesty, which I respect more than anything else. I was in the military stationed out in Fallon when Ron was waging battle against my tattoo, so I had to make a two hour drive every time my epidermis was ready for another session and it was worth every minute on the road. Bottom line, if you want your tatt gone and you’re lucky enough to be near Reno, this is the place. I highly recommend you contact them. She’ll book you, he’ll cook you, and you’ll like it…guaranteed! Oh, and all the rumors about this process being painful, they’re true, but Ron’s the fastest laser in the west you’ll be fine. Going in with two small tattoos that needed to be removed, I went in, not knowing what to expect, but came out with more knowledge and confidence then ever. These guys really love what they do. When I first went in I wasnt going for myself,I was going as a supportive girlfriend. But once I seen how remarkable the removal process was going and how quickly you are able to see results I had to start going for myself. Now that I moved out of state 4 hours away I still go to them because the work speaks for itself but they are absolutely amazing people and convenience cant make up for that!

The absolute best service and results in Reno. I started having my tattoo removed here, I had a Groupon for Sierra Wellness Center so I switched. After about 7 months and 3 sessions I saw zero results and switched back to Reno Tattoo removal immediately. DO NOT waste your money on anyone else, this is the place to go for results.

What could be a painful, embarrassing situation, Melanie and Ron turn into a really pleasant treatment. These two are such nice people and very accommodating. This is the best place to go in reno for a tattoo removal. Its a mom and pop owned place so its a non-medical environment and has a home feel. Ron is AMAZING! He lets you take your time so that youre comfortable and not rushed. They give you at home care supplies so youre taken care of (aloe, coconut oil etc.) SUPPORT SMALL BUSINESSES!
