Great shop. Been going there for twenty plus years. The always turn out great tattoos, not just that though they also have original paintings from the artists in house. I almost never give a five star review, reason being there is always room for improvement. If you are thinking of getting some ink done I definitely recommend Stingray Tattoo in Reno. Go on in, and tell em Large Marge sent ya.

This is a cut and paste tattoo shop with zero imagination! They treated me poorly after telling them my idea. I told them I was was okay with adaptation, but they had no concept of alteration, only complete change! Doesnt that make you a less comprehensive tattoo artist. At a certain point in the conversation they turned to treating me so poorly I had to walk out! Very professional! I would be happy to see this place go under so no one else is treated as poorly!

I personally havent got a tattoo from here but I have gotten my tongue pierced here i believe his name was Rafael! But they are supe awesome here anybody that asks where I got my piercing done I tell them the stingray! Everybody there is just super nice and when I got my tongue done I came back in like a week later and they put a shorter bar in there for free didnt charge me and put it in there themselves. I highly recommend them!! Keep it up guys!!

This place is the worst in Reno! DO NOT GO TO STINGRAY! Theyll jack up your tattoo. Dont say I didnt warn you! Waste of time and money. Nothing but amateurs. Vaka ruined my tattoo! Intentionally. So if you want a guy that is so stoned he cant see straight and jacks up your tattoos They smoke weed out back and think they can get away with it. And the owner is extremely difficult and rude.

Sarra fixed my jacked up helix and got my stuck nose piercing out 😁 super friendly and stayed longer then she was supposed to! Will recommend to everyone. Super friendly, soft touch and great price! 😁👍🏼👍🏼

They have several artists. I use Junior Rodriguez, and hes the best. Professional, and fairly priced. Theyre not there to rip you off! I highly recommend this shop.

Vaka did a big piece on my lower arm with only a few references and my idea. He turned it into a beautiful piece of art. All of the other artist were friendly (and funny) throughout the 3 sessions it took. I’ll be going back soon to get the other arm done! Thank you Vaka!

HORRIBLE! Junior scheduled my son for a tattoo at 6pm. Junior was not there when we came in for the tattoo. The nice girl at the front tried to get ahold of him, but he did not answer his phone. I waited to see if I might hear from Junior, for an apology. When I heard nothing by 1:30 the next day, I called the shop. Junior said sorry, that he isnt used to staying that late at work (not sure if he has an appointment book?), and when I said how disappointed my son was, not to mention me, he became rude, and told me he had apologized and that is all he owed me, and then hung up on me. I hope others have better luck.

Awful experience the artist took my deposit a month in advance and didn’t stay in contact with me nor did he draw anything until the day of appointment and couldn’t take handle being told it’s not what I had in mind #1 and #2 you work with the client and design what they want not what you the tattoo clinician wants. Owner refunded my deposit as the jerk who worked for him was a problem for him with other clients.

They did my tattoos be for I left f or over seas Ive been back but in Idaho Im in Reno right now but they are closed at 8pm Im hoping they can recolor them sense I was over seas very and could not have it done the work is the best Ive seen I know that they told me they wood when I came home so Im back tell tomorrow then need to go back home a Nd they said it would be free but its been years

Got a good size tattoo here about 2 years ago and it has barley faded the lettering is amazing and he was a super nice guy talked with me through the whole thing I believe he goes by T-Bone!

Sad to say, but I went here for my first tattoo, and they gave me an apprentice/amature artist without informing me. Who couldnt even shade my simple rose to look relistic. If I had wanted an a amature tattoo I could of gotten it free from a home tattooist.

Got my daughter navel pierced the lady was very nice to her and answered all my questions
