Utah Owen’s was without a doubt the best piercer I’ve ever had. Utahs communication before, throughout, and after the piercing was phenomenal. They took cleanliness and sterilization seriously, as well as making sure I didn’t feel bad for asking questions or wanting a different placement. I could tell Utah really cared about you leaving the shop 100% happy with their service. I will probably go here until a die, and if it was possible, afterwords too.

Update 8.5.2022Shay did another amazing tattoo on my kid. Love this one more than the first. And the original design was incredibly busy. Shay pulled off a rendition that mastered the concept and artistry of the picture, the expression, to perfection. And the price is not overly inflated as the norm for our current economy. Thankful for people who love their work and have the true talent.Super glad we finally found a reputable tattoo artist (Shay) with reasonable prices and availability. Been looking since March 2021.Shay took the time to review the idea, then made it unique and special instead of just copying someone elses work. He captured exactly the concept.He is friendly. Knowledgeable. Has a college degree in art. All this and more is apparent in his work.The owner, Tim, very accommodating and welcoming.Professional place. Im writing this 2 years later, I got my nipples pierced on my 18th birthday. Cost around $200-$250. I had taken them out about a year later and just recently got them redone at Euro tattoo, A. Cost $50 for the same thing, and B. They actually pierced them straight unlike Delicious, one of my nipples was pierced way too far and was way too close to my boob, Euro couldnt even pierce them where Delicious did because they were so off.If you want to save money, and have it done well, go literally anywhere else. Also the bs they give you with the jewelry and thats why it costs so much is comical, dont believe them. The standard jewelry used at other shops is just as good. Theyre just money hungry.

I had Shay do a rework of to me, just a horrible tattoo. He is so nice and did an amazing job!

I have gone to Solvej Jordahl for almost 20 year and now my daughter does and her bf we have always left with beautiful art and we even go there for our piercings and Utah does a great job and is knowledgeable.

I truly enjoyed my time at Delicious Ink and I had a very positive experience my first time there. I got a piercing and my piercer was very knowledgeable, confident, and transparent which helped me to relax and feel comfortable. They have wonderful customer service and a chill inviting atmosphere. I had no issues or worries after getting my piercing, but if I did, I know I can contact the piercer at any time (which is awesome and very reassuring). I highly recommend this place!

Always an amazing time at this tattoo parlor. Friendly staff, positive environment, and they like Wisconsin kringle. Who wouldve thought. I would recommend enjoying such an amazing experience this place offers with Annette and the rest of the crew.

Ive gotten piercings and jewelry for myself here for years and today finally took my daughter in for ear piercings. She was very comfortable as she knew what to expect with each step being explained really well. Im so glad we made the trip down to get the piercings with this shop!

DON’T RECOMMEND. I would not recommend coming here, I did not have a good experience. I went in to get help putting jewelry in, and to purchase some piercing jewelry. Both of my piercings were still open, yet the guy who put mine in for me reopened a wound on both parts of my ear where he put them in. I asked him about how to care for it- he told me to use “warm water” and that’s all that I’d need. A couple days later it was still killing me and clearly infected, so I started treating it. Was very unhappy with my experience and I won’t be recommending to anyone I care about. Also extremely overpriced.

I was really nervous because I had never gotten a tattoo before. Shay did an amazing job. He took his time and really paid attention to the detail. I really loved the professionalism of Delicious Ink. I will definitely be going back.

So I was here for a cover up fix and it was going alright and it looked good until the last session. I asked for it to be darker around the mandala and I was left with very uneven lines….. and the white over the black kinda looks like a child drew on my leg…I know cover ups are hard but it was going well until the last session and now I have invested so much money into this and have to get it removed which is on me. But what tattoo artist can’t make even lines isn’t it your job? I’m not trying to be mean either I’m just appalled with how this turned out and I should’ve said something sooner. Also if you have never done white ink tattoos before which I know can be tricky don’t make someone your experiment. I thought you had experience with it going into it🤷‍♂️ I hope this can somehow be made right considering how much money I put into this. I also hope other people take this review into account when looking to get a tattoo here.

Best tattoo shop around. Always a great atmosphere in the shop and everyone that works there is awesome to talk to. very clean and professional at all times. Have had multiple tattoos and piercings here and will continue to go back.

Utah is the best. Ive gone in to see her a couple times now for dermal related issues and shes always so helpful, kind and gentle as hell. I could never recommend her enough for everything piercing related!

Utah is amazing! She made me feel so relaxed and comfortable! I really appreciated the way she took her time and explained everything to me step by step preparing me for what to expect. I was impressed with her knowledge and how much she cared about her work! No matter how many questions I asked it was all about me and making sure I had the best experience, which I did! Utah prepared me for the possibility there might be some discomfort, but it was absolutely pain free! She was friendly professional and puts the customer first. The entire shop is extremely clean and they take their customers health and safety very seriously. I will never go anywhere else

I called and was able to set up an appointment the same day. This was the first place Ive gone to in Rockford to get a piercing. I went in to get my tongue pierced (for the 2nd time). Once you walk in the aesthetic was beautiful and the atmosphere was very welcoming. I had the pleasure of getting my work done by Utah. Shes very easy going and had a lot of knowledge on my piercing. Anything I had questions to she answered and when getting my piercing she made me feel very relaxed. Overall, it was a great experience and I will definitely be coming back. Thank you, Utah!!!

My partner needed help getting a lip piercing stretched back out and Utah did an awesome job with that! Very professional, easy to make an appointment, and it was a clean and beautiful shop! Looking forward to going back for new piercings and to buy some pretty jewelry!!

I went in to get a few things re-pierced. I was helped immediately. My details were taken into consideration and I felt like the staff truly cared about my experience.

Never even got the chance to review the shop itself, only my experience with them. I made an appointment with them at noon and got a call at 11:47am telling me their piercer called in because they werent feeling good. I live an hour away and had to take a vacation day for my appointment. I ended up wasting time, money, and a vacation day for nothing. A high end, shop like this should understand people travel to see them. It wouldve been different if they wouldve offered a discount or for their other piercer to come in, but because of the two things in combination I will not recommend or use their business.

I called and was able to get an appointment same day for a microdermal piercing. My piercer was Utah and she was very professional and made me feel at ease during the whole appointment. She explained everything to me as she went and gave me her email to contact if I have any questions or concerns during the healing process. I will definitely be coming to Utah for all my piercing needs in the future!!

Shay Tarleton is the bomb! A visionary with skills to execute! His line work is beyond impressive! Cant wait for next pieces with Shay!

I got some ear piercings done by Utah and it was great. The whole experience was comfortable and she made it better by answering my questions and just being super chill and kind. I will definitely be getting more piercings here

My 6 year old Daughter has wanted her ear peirced for a while now so we decided to bring her in and let me tell you! Absolutely amazing experience. Utah took such good care of my daughter and walked her threw both piercing and made sure she was completely comfortable the entire time. She was calm and kind, extremely patient and just an incredible person in general. I would absolutely recommend anyone looking for piercings make their way over and ask for Utah!

This place has my whole heart, Ive been going there 3 years for piercings. Utah is an angel, and John is pretty rad too. So far Ive gotten 15 piercings from this shop and never a bad experience. Always super sanitized and lots of high quality jewelry to choose from. Never a dull conversation when I walk through that (new) door. :D Im hoping to get tatted up by their amazing artists soon!

My boyfriend, daughter, and myself had an appointment yesterday for piercings. We knew we had a lot we wanted done. We met with Utah. First impression was that she was very thorough. She told us in detail the pros and cons of each piercing. She looked at our anatomy and explained what would and wouldnt work. We had went to another place a while ago that just pierced and didnt care. One piercing that rejected for my boyfriend because he didnt have the anatomy prior and shouldnt have been pierced there. She was very open and honest. Utah spent more than 2 hours with us for 6 piercings total. Everything was sterilized, wiped down, and put through an autoclave. I usually get so nervous prior to a piercing that Im shaking, especially with an intimate piercing. I felt comfortable with her immediately. It wasnt until I sat on the table I got nervous. She explained after care and everyone there was awesome. I found a new piercer for life. I dont have any tattoos but if I choose to get one Id go there too.

Utah gave me 3 piercings. She was absolutely great, the piercings look perfect and I am 100% satisfied. Utah was so informative and thorough and never made me feel bad for asking questions. The room and environment were also very clean. 10/10 would highly recommend her for piercings.

This was overall a good experience. My sister and I came to get impromptu tattoos on a Sunday during COVID and we were able to come in immediately. The receptionist was very accommodating and friendly and the shop itself was beautiful, clean, and inclusive. Our artist, Hunter, was a super cool person. We had great conversation and he was helpful as we took quite a bit of time adjusting font and size on my sisters tattoo. We are both very pleased with Hunters work, I absolutely love how mine turned out (shown below). With this being said, I rate 4 starts because I do think they are quite expensive. I have a full sleeve (and other tattoos) and have never paid this much (maybe because I usually get tattooed in Wisconsin? I dont know). They have a $100.00 shop minimum, so we paid $100 for a very small tattoo that was actually worth probably $40. Mine was $200, also more than I expected, but I want to reiterate that I am still very happy with the experience despite pricing because of how wonderful everything else was.

I love coming here! I have gotten a few piercings and I am hoping to get some ink once the job slows down. I adore Utah. She is honest and upfront. She even did my daughters first piercing. Definitely recommend!

Utah is an amazing piercer!! My daughter had gotten a piercing at another tattoo shop that never healed correctly. We took it out, let it heal up a little, then had Utah pierce it!! The jewelry is gorgeous, very high quality. Her experience and knowledge about piercing is top notch, my daughter had very little discomfort, and her instructions on letting it heal correctly were very well explained!! Delicious Ink is a very clean shop, and they are very professional!! Would highly recommend!!

Ive only been here for tattoos but this is my one and only tattoo shop. They do piercings as well and if I ever decide to get one Im going here. Ive only had high quality art from amazing artists. Each artist is unique but they all make certain you walk away with the tattoo you want to your specifications. If you merely have a concept in mind, these professionals will work with you to make certain that concept comes to life beautifully.

I have heard nothing but good things about Delicious Ink. I dont doubt their work is good. But I have been texting and emailing an artist that appeared to do the kind of work I am looking for. But after two weeks an no response, it is probably time to move on. Was looking for a half sleeve, but must not want the work.

I came in and got my Daith done by Utah and oh my gosh. Hands down best experience with a piercer ever. Such a nice person. She was extremely comforting and informative! And my piercing looks so perfect!

I havent been living in Illinois for long but the few people Ive met in the past couple of months have recommended this pace to get my tattoo. They seem to have a great reputation. They have multiple artists all with great reviews First I got an appointment with Sarah Stewart, who was a pretty good portfolio. After dealing with her lack of professionalism and just plain rudeness, I was switched to Tim, the shops owner. Best mishap ever. Im actually glad Sarah was so rude and impatient with me. I did complain to the manager about how Sarah had treated me and everything was taken care of. They apologized on her behalf and solved my issue instantly. Thank you Utah and Tim for such great care. Thank you Tim for making my idea possible and for all your suggestions!

Dedicated, experienced, and talented staff. Wide selection of high quality jewelry. John did so well with piercing my daughters ears, hes so great with kids. Hes knowledgeable with jewelry as well, advising appropriate options. My daughter was so excited to go back and get new jewelery from John when she healed. I had a great experience here. Solvej was patient, courteous, and professional. It was my first tattoo and she put me at ease and realized my idea exactly as I had intended. The decor is cool, the music is good, and the waiting lounge is very comfortable (with a coffee machine and water cooler and comfy couches)

If you want the best quality of work done from a pro you have to go in and check out Hunter! he is incredibly professional, has a great attitude and can carry a good conversation. This has been my best tattoo experience by far! Pricing is fair, work is above and beyond anywhere else you will find in the midwest . I was able to get exactly what I wanted from a great artist! I got my first two tattoos here, and will definitely go back for my others! Tim did both of my tattoos and he was extremely friendly through the entire experience. Very clean shop, good taste in music, and their decorations are awesome.

When my teenager and her friends wanted to get naval piercings, my two qualifications were a clean establishment and a piercer who would be nice to teen girls during their first piercing experience.The sterilization process was 10 minutes for each piece of jewelry. And Utah was great. She spent almost 2 hours with us (4 piercings), and when one of the girls started getting pale and dizzy, she handled it perfectly. She made it fun for all of the girls (and mom too).

While I wasnt the one getting a tattoo (my friend was) I enjoyed my time there. They had a good taste in music and their decorations were unique. Not only are they the most talented artists you will get to work with, but they are the friendliest group of people Ive met. My family of four has all been inked or pierced by them. I secdulduded an appointment here to have my nose pierced and to switch out some jewelry from my previous pierced daith. They welcomed me right when I walked in and checked to make sure Id been helped when Utah was getting paperwork for me to fill out. They have an incredible selection of jewelry. Utah made the whole process easy and comfortable. Everything was sterilized and set up in front of me. Utah told me what to expect when she pierced my nose and daith. She was also lovely enough to switch out my other daith jewelry for a new piece. Shes amazing at what she dose and made me feel relaxed and comfortable the whole time. Husband and I got 2 full sleeves here and love all of the artists in the shop. Get all of my piercings and the majority of my jewelry here including custom orders. I absolutely recommend this shop for tattoos and piercings for adults and children. Black Friday and Small Business Saturday sales are great if youre strapped for cash. This place is awesome! Everyone is so talented, it’s incredible. Shay Tarlton did my tattoo and I absolutely love it. My mother recently passed away and so I wanted to get my first tattoo in memory of her. Not only was Shay so kind enough to come in on his day off, but he took the time and efffort to make sure I was satisfied with my sketch. When he first showed it to me I could hardly contain my excitement. Being that this was my first tattoo, I was really nervous, but as soon as I saw what he had drawn up for me, I was beyond happy. Walked in to ask questions about Daith piercing. Utah was extremely knowledgable and helpful. I did the piercing and waited several weeks to write a review to see how things went with healing. I have had no problems. Utah gives you a wealth of information as well as a guarantee of her work. I will be back to get the other side done when this is completely healed. Took daughter in law (lives elsewhere) to get hers done because mine was such a success. Wasnt impressed. Dtr in law will get her second one done by Utah when she comes to visit. You get what you pay for...Utah is the best.

I can’t remember his name.. but the body piercings are extremely sanitary, well priced and done in a very professional way. I have horrible anxiety and the guy that pierced me kept me calm, got me through it and invited me to come back as frequent as I’d like for him to look at my piercing and make sure it’s healing correctly. I HIGHLY reccomens this place for a tattoo and especially for a piercing. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

John was so awesome, very informative and made me very comfortable. Love my new piercing definitely going back soon for more piercings.

Went to Delicious Ink to get quotes & schedule appts for tattoos for myself, husband, & son. Read some good reviews on Jason, Solvej, & Jennie so we thought we would check them out. This would be my first tattoo, my sons first & my husbands 3rd. We didnt even make it past the receptionist, Gabby, or whatever she is there. She was short with us, seemed to be annoyed with us trying to explain & show here what we were wanting. We are very polite people & tried to give her the benefit of doubt but we felt like we were a waste of her time. Now just so you all know there was only one person in the back getting something done and no one else there waiting, it was definitely not a busy time. We were only in there for maybe 5-10 minutes, so its not like were asking a ton of questions and part of that time she stopped to take a phone call. Also when we walked in the door behind us didnt close all the way, so we hear a guy from the back yelling to close the door, so my son hurried to close it...Geez. Just very unprofessional & not welcoming at all. Will not even bother to go back to check out the talent there because of that awful experience. I cannot fathom spending my hard earned money on a place that cannot show basic respect & manners toward the people who walk through their front door.

I was pierced with quality titanium jewelry by Jennie Tiesman. No problems with piercings, still have them after almost 2 years. Great staff, friendly service, will be going back for future piercings.

I kinda put solvej on the spot with a heavily detailed image and she pulled through with some incredible tiny detailing and color shading. It looks very well done, hands down the best tattoo ive gotten.

Went to get my nose re pierced and was looking to find out about a couple of other piercings. I had done a little research and was happy to fond out that this was not one of those $10 dollr piercing places. You truly get wjat you pay for with a piercing and tim was wonderful. Wanted to get a VH piercing and at first was hesitant on a gentleman doing the piercing . . but Tim was amazing! I was set at ease, he answered all my questions before I even asked, it was worth the experience.

Delicious Ink is super clean, the people who work there will answer any question, even if it seems dumb, and theyre really pretty friendly! Sometimes messages get lost from the answering machine, which can lead to some confusion, but overall theyre WONDERFUL.

My son and I got tattoos here. Solvej was great. Staff was great. Tattoos are great.
