I absolutely love this place they have done nearly all of my tattoos and my piercings. I go back every week like clockwork to have something done. Great people. Great place. Amazing work. Haley and Gabe and Matthew have done all my work. I will continue to go back.

What a great tattoo shop! Their prices are reasonable (much better than the 5 other places we called in Rockford), staff is friendly and experienced, and they keep the shop SO clean. I got my septum pierced, and passed out, as expected lol My piercer, Hayley, and team were sooo sweet and attentive! Honestly, she made the whole process super smooth and eased my anxiety, before and after. Would definitely recommend, super friendly and funny staff

Took my daughter (7yo) here to get her ears pierced. The ladies were very welcoming. My daughter loved both of them. The piercer did an amazing job, my daughter said it didnt really hurt. Better pricing than Claires.

Got my septum eyebrow and my first tattoos there! Septum done by tattoo bob himself, eyebrow done by Haley fox and also my tattoos. Tattoo needs retouching but probably my fault for over moisturizing! I love Haley though shes definitely my go to artist anytime I go in 🩷

Went with a friend to get a helix and she got a septum done and industrial changed, the piercer used a butterfly back earring which I’ve never seen a shop use especially for a cartridge piercing and did it crooked and angled after I specifically told him I wanted it flat and not on the curve, my grind picked out a industrial bar there that was too big for her ear but instead of saying that and not doing it they just jammed it in there and left her with a trip to the er to get it taken out. I’ve also went to get two foward helix’s done about half a year ago and they did it with two rings and it healed terribly and had to be taken out. I’ve also been to the 11th st location many times and never had any issue with their practices and all my stuff from that location turned out fine, I don’t know why I end up having such horrible experiences at forest hills but after this last time I definitely will NOT be returning!

It was my first time going here and I loved it! I ended up getting my first tattoo by Hailey and she did such a good job! I love it SO much!! ( Keep in mind the photo was taken right after so it is a litttle bloody) Made me feel welcomed and adapted to what I was wanting for my tattoo! As I was getting my tattoo, many people came in for piercings. They were welcomed and taken care of quickly and they made sure everything was the way the customer wanted! They do accept walk-ins at this time (which I was a walk in) and on the day I went I had everything done within 3 hours! Would definitely recommend going here for a tattoo or piercing!

Went to get my nose done and it was a terrible experience. The piercer is very aggressive and unsympathetic, I went to get my piercing changed and they told me while the needle was in my nose that the piercing I purchased and picked from them was broken and I needed to pick a different one. Ended up wasting more $$$ on jewelry I didn’t like and a sore/bloody nose once again.

Took my daughter and niece to get ear cartilage piercings, had a great experience from beginning to end. Everyone was especially great with my 14 year old daughter who was a little nervous, but she did great! Definitely will recommend and will come back again! ❤️

Yesterday was my first time in. This tattoo shop is very clean and beautiful inside. Matthew, a tattoo Artist there is awesome! He did full wings on my upper back! Gorgeous work. He is so sweet and is a talented artist.

We took my daughter to get an Ashley (didnt know it was called that) and her belly button redone and the staff was fantastic. Really made her feel comfortable and safe!

I got my belly button pierced, very quick and very nice and sweet about the whole thing. After my pricing I passed out and I do that sometimes but they were very helpful and gave me water, a sucker for sugar and a cold wet towel for me to cool down. Very sweet people there and I thank them greatly for handling it so well!!

The shop is clean, the staff is knowledgeable and professional. They are also very respectful around children. My son went in for his ears to be pierced and they asked others to keep it clean (language/conversation) there was a kid present. The artists are also talented.

I live an hour away from this place, but I took the chance and drove over after work for a medusa piercing I have wanted for years. I had actually tried getting a piercing at a local shop in my town, but they botched it terribly, off-center and way too high. I waited a few weeks to heal and found Tattoo Bobs online and took the chance. They were all super friendly, awesome vibes, got me in and out in less than ten minutes. The piercing was $20 total, hardware included, which is excellent for the type of skill and service you get, and seriously half the price of the awful piercing job I got before.. Definitely recommend Tattoo Bobs!

Stopped in last week to get 2 piercings. The web of my tongue is completely crooked but it’s not something people will see often. Had it done once before so I know it can be pierced straight. Daith piercing is healing well. Clean environment.

The man behind the counter, who greeted me, was friendly. Gabriel, is who pierced my nose. He knew what he was doing and was nice. Also professional. Didnt experience any pain during or after. Not sure about the other negative reviews with nose piercing. but I had a good experience. Once you leave the shop, its up to you on how you take care of your piercing. Not the companys. Overall I would recommend Tattoo Bobs.

I use to have a good experience. I have taken so many people here to get piercings. This last time was my last time. Gave did divers on both side of my face. One came right out I went back and he said “let it heal and i will redo it for you free.” He has done that to me multiple times then I come back and it’s a different story. So I said are you sure you will remember me. He says “of course and if the other one comes out come back right away”So I went back after my face healed and the other one was hanging. Gabe was upset that I asked him to do them free because he said he would, sooo he pushed the dermal deep in my face so the skin grows over it and I have to have it cut out now. With as much business I take and send this place I do not feel like this is fair treatment. I will be filing a complaint and letting everyone Ik this is not the place to go.

I got my second lobe done here. I was kinda iffy about this place since it seemed a little sketchy but the owners are really nice and its also really cheap. One thing I would change about this place is the jewelry. I wish it was titanium instead of the surgical steel that they use but Im just being picky lol. Anywho if you dont want to spend too much on a piercing go here :) I will update if anything bad happens but so far its healing really well!

Its a very nice place. The atmosphere was awesome. Gabe was excellent in calming my nerves and we love our piercings. Very welcoming and lighthearted vibes. We will be back.

I’m a 14 year old. I went to get my belly button pierced. He was very cooperative and did a very nice job piercing my belly button. I definitely would recommend them for nose and belly button piercings. I have also got my nose done twice from them. Each time they did an amazing job. They will definitely be my go to tattoo and piercing shops. 🤍🤍

I was supposed to get mine somewhere else but they took a deposit and scheduled me a week later and didnt even draw it and forgot so I left went to bobs and they were amazing!! Price was very affordable they helped me pick what I wanted and did it within an hour and did an amazing job!! Thank you guys soooo much!! So worth going here

I brought my daughter here to get a nose piercing for her birthday. She had a good experience, piercer was very friendly and informative.

Went and got my ears pierced (so I would have 4 in each ear) and it was a quick and fine experience until I got home. I couldn’t get the piercings to stop bleeding even days after they were done. Now, my left one is so infected and swollen, I’m throwing up and running a fever because of it. My friend got hers pierced as well, and she has the same issue. She even developed blisters/rash all around the piercing. She went in and talked to them, and they told her “if you still experience symptoms just go see a Dr there’s nothing else we can do.” We’ve both cleaned our piercings, we’ve both made sure nothing can pull them or irritate them. Will never EVER be going back, and will make sure everyone stays away.

I went to this very location about a year and a half ago to get my bottom lip pierced and it was on Memorial Day; the two guys that were there were nice and calm, one was doing my piercing and the other was talking to my mom and older sister, he was talking to me while doing my piercing, i was nervous, but it was all good. i really like this place and so does my best friend, he got his piercings here too after i did. :))

My friends I went in this past summer to get their famous $10 piercings! We called ahead of time and everything but when we got there they changed to price to $20 a piercing and switched it to cash only. I decided not to get a piercing done but my friends did and the dude was super unprofessional. The owner yelled at me and got an attitude with me when I was checking on my friend who was getting 4 piercings done. They also don’t use good jewelry...it’s the type of jewelry that you can buy at Walmart. All in all...I will not ever come back to this place and I won’t recommend it to anyone.

April at the front desk made us feel very welcome and was very sweet! Bob got 5 piercings for us in and out with great service AND WITHOUT making us feel rushed. Will definitely be back for any next piercings or tattoos. Highly recommended

At first I was a little skeptical of a place that offers 10 dollar piercings but after going in they were extremely clean and professional, they know how to calm somoneo down so is nervous and do piercings quickly and effectively, I got my single and double earlobe done here and would definelty come back for more. My piercings healed well and without any problems

I went to Bob’s after I got a tattoo at Euro Tattoo in Rockford and observed how they treated, and what they said about their customers after they left. I had Bob continue working on a half sleeve for me, all I can say is, I wish I would have gone to him from the start. So much more professional and cares about the little things that ultimately make the entire experience and quality of the tattoo so much better. Such a personable shop that doesn’t treat you like another customer in an assembly line atmosphere. The tattoo turned out amazing and I’m looking forward to completing my project at Bob’s.

Went here in July 2020 got a double helix (two cartilage piercings). Piercings were $20 each instead of $10. They did not clean the needle in between piercings which is very unsanitary and unsafe since cartilage can get infected easily. I ended up with 2 infected piercings and was in the ER for 2 days. My ear was very red and bloody, swollen, i was throwing up, had the chills but had a fever of 102, couldn’t keep anything down including water, and ended up on many antibiotics and anti nausea meds. Even 6 months later the piercings don’t feel right, they get very irritated fast, i can’t lay on my right side without being in pain. As someone with many piercings from other places this has been my absolute worst experience ever. 100% do not recommend this place.

Absolutely one of my favorite shops to go to! This was my second time going in, I went to re do my nose and pierce my navel. The guys are so much fun & they made me feel comfortable. I will definitely be returning for any future piercing needs. even if its out of my way. So worth it.

I recently went here and had an owl tattoo done by Josh he was amazing, took the time to make sure I had the tattoo I wanted and made sure I was comfortable when my tattoo was being done. There was another artist there as well named Dave that was awesome too and he made sure I was doing alright. If your looking for your next tattoo or piercing I would recommend no other tattoo place then here with these two artist. They make there customers feel wanted and involved. I love this Tattoo Bob’s location! I’ve been going here since 2015. I’ve gotten all my piercings at Tattoo Bobs. I’ve had to get my nose re-pierced 3 times lol. The last time I went was this June and it was a very nice young lady that did my nose! They’re the place to go for your tattoo and piercings needs!

Walked in with a Euro T shirt oops... but the people were very sarcastic (my kind of vibe) so we all got along with many jokes thrown in. Got my nips, nose and tragus and I felt super comfortable! I always go here for any piercing because of the price and the quality of the jewelry. Never have had any problem with healing. As a women, I loved how the guys made me feel super comfortable. Ended up trading my Euro T shirt for a Tattoo Bob one and I’m in love with all 4 piercings and my new shirt! Rock on guys.

I’ve gone to tattoo bob’s for 8 of my other ear piercings and had pleasant experiences with all of them. I got a mid helix piercing and the lady who pierced it barely put the backing on, didn’t clean it and I walked out with blood dripping down my shirt. Worst experience and I will not be coming back.

Had piercings done for my 3 daughters. 15, 13 & 10. Nose, cartilage and 1st ear piercings.By far the best deal in the area. Clean and very quick. Took no longer than 20 min to complete all 3 kids. Called a week prior to confirm walk in’s were welcomed. No scheduling needed.Today I was greeted by the first employee who seemed rushed and uninterested. Understandably so Bc he was with another customer and multitasking phone calls. He did the oldest girl’s nose piercing.2nd employee came in just in time to take over and do the other 2 girls. He was much more welcoming and put ease to the nervousness. Overall A quick great experience with employee #2. So much so we needed to tip extra well for his patience and kindness to our girls. Wish we knew his name for future visits and recommendations. Thanks again!

Received an ear piercing about 2 weeks ago. Guy did not use A needle nor a piercing gun. Spoke to manager and he gave me some half excuse. I have at least 10 other piercing and never had issues. Here I am 2 weeks later with an infected ear. I had to go to the E.R. just to have the earring removed. Would not suggest this location for piercings.

Had a septum piercing done almost a year ago. They pierced it that night for me. Little wait time.There were two guys there. One was very kind, professional, seemed to know what he was talking about. The other one (that actually pierced my nose) didnt seem to care about me or my nose.He put the clamp on, pierced it, without really looking at my nose or anything. It was horrifically painful (I have 10 piercings and 12 tattoos. So I know the normal amount of pain, this was not it). The ring was too small. It wouldnt flip up into my nose. Which I wanted. He said lets try a bigger one. So he swapped it out and the bigger one was clearly too big. It also didnt flip into my nose. And it looked horrible. So he took that out and put the other one back in. He was -clearly- annoyed by all of the switching even though it wasnt near close and there was no one waiting. It was so painful. I gave him a 100% tip because I felt bad he had to switch it out twiceIts healed. Not been infected or injured. And my whole nose still hurt to the touch. So I took it out today. Immediately not in pain anymore.It was pierced very very low. Barely inside my nose. And one hole is clearly higher than the other. I was gonna go back and try to talk to the first guy like a week after it was done but the second guy was there. So I just left.I will literally never go here again.

I was unaware the price of piercings had changed until directly before I got pierced as. I had believed ear piercings were 10$ each not 20$ and that I would be pierced with Hoops not studs and I was not pierced with the correct gauge ( I was pierced with a 20 gauge for my cartilage which should have been an 18 or 16 resulting in a forced gauge to wear any jewelry other then the studs I was pierced withBut other than that (which was more so my own fault for not clarifying earlier)Its a good place if you know what your doing for after careIve gotten all 11 piercings hereGood staff and quick in and out piercingOlder staff does great never had issues with them

I have held off for 2 years now before i gave this review. I had got my back pierced and the man who did it did it all wrong. He went completely thru my muscle and made them uneven. I came back about it and a man named dave said he could fix it or give me a piercing equivalent to the amount of money i spent. I decided i would get a different piercing because my back was seriously infected. When i asked for a tragus piercing which was a lot cheeper then what i spent he told me i had to pay for it. I was upset. I felt like i did not matter. I had came to tattoo bobs since i was 13 and felt like it did not matter at all. Now i still recommend tattoo bobs if you get your piercings only from bob.

Listen up....me and my wife went to tattoo bobs for some ink therapy and could not be happier. Thank you Gabe and Bear you made our expierience at the shop one of the best we have ever had. I personaly would recomend this shop to anyone asking for any type of work done. I will be going back asap and i will be having Bear or Gabe do my next piece. I was actually recommended the 11th St location but decided to choose this location as it is closer to my home. I got two piercings done however once I got home I realized one piercing was higher than the other and two different sizes of piercing jewelry were used. I’m disappointed but I guess I got what I payed for I’ll go elsewhere in the future.

Have had my nose, conch, and cartilage pierced here. Amazing staff who know how to keep nervous customers calm and comfortable. Will definitely be going back for more piercings!

Tattoo Bobs is an amazing place to get piercings and tattoos, hands down! Always clean and sterile and they arent afraid to talk to you while they doing the tattoo/piercing. So you arent sitting there all awkward and what not. I love Tattoo Bobs! If anyone around a location, I recommend you to them!

Everyone here was very professional. Dave helped me out by reinserting my nose jewelry when I was unable to get it back in on my own. Overall Tattoo Bobs has great, efficient staff, and is a clean parlor.

Got the job done. Took my daughter in for her nose to be Pierced for her 16th birthday, We walk in No greeting from anybody. The gentleman didnt believe I was her mom whice I understand I am pretty young to have a 16 year old. Theres a few things I didnt like but Ill keep it short. Nose got pierced seems to have healed well. Job completed.

Not ling wait. Waited hr guess that okay Doesnt listen to customer got annoyed cause I wanted certain things. Didnt listen when I said I didnt like something after stencile put on. Tried to fix after fact but couldnt do much. Whats supposed to be a sweet tattoo having it look mean. Cause he did not ask or listen. Im Not happy.Place is nice tho

I feel at home. Thats how comfortable they make me feel when i go there. Tattoo bob is the only one i use now to get my art done. They are the kindest and most professional outfit i have ever seen. #RANT#ok so I went to tattoo Bobs on forest hill rd when I got there I immediately realized that I was in the wrong place I didnt feel welcome at all. I stayed because I really wanted the piercing. A few young girls came in they were caucasian they were greeted with a smile . I must have had a look on my face because he had them sit down and then let me sign paperwork he never told me his name ok so as Im going back to get the piercing both the guy at the counter and the one doing my piercing were talking to the girls in the lobby so during this the second guy said little to nothing to me and did the piercing handed me a paper and said thats it thanks. Fast forward to today the piercing still was hurting so I went to the tattoo Bobs on 11th street as soon as I greeted and felt like they wanted to assist me. I showed the woman the piercing and immediately she said wow nooo thats wrong he put a bar that was too short in she took me back cleaned it and replaced it with the right one she apologize for the mistake and welcomed me to come back to her next time I get anything else 👌🏾 so rant done all Im saying is thank you to Tattoo Bobs 11th street and I would be back💯💯

David Pearce drew the starting of vines to finish my arm with. I plan on having the vines through out both arms. I am very happy with what he has done so far. I highly recommend him.

This was my second time coming to them and they weren’t greeting they were just dry and really rough with my piercing . My piercing fell out and I came back 3 times to get it put back in . I don’t think I would recommend this place to anyone

200 bucks for a tat the size of an apple and scarred me three times. It was the owner and said he had years and years of experience. Nice guy but not at all happy with work.

Piercing swelled up because it wasnt long enough. They use the same size for every lip piercing so Oh guess if your lip is small enough than sure.
