Excellent, beautiful piercing studio! My little sister and I came to get our noses pierced together and the experience was 10/10 fantastic amazing!! The owner is LOVELY and so accommodating. The girl who was at the front desk was so helpful while choosing jewelry and knowledgeable when giving us aftercare instructions. Brit, the piercer, was INCREDIBLE. My little sister was so nervous for her piercing and Brit made the entire thing so smooth and easy. We both love our piercings. Thank you so much!!

Very nice and very professional! I had an issue with my septum piercing being slightly bent out of place, and they helped me fix it extremely quickly and courteously with zero pain. Sanitation practices were on point, and piercer was very knowledgeable. 10/10 plan on going back to get an actual piercing.

My girlfriend and I had a great experience at Chief Piercing. Sergio was super kind and professional, and overall just brought a really great positive energy to the whole process. Our piercings were done by Britt, who was also really kind and professional, and also super patient with all the questions that we had about our new piercings. I went in to get my daith pierced and it was a very simple and quick process. The piercer was super chill and calm throughout the piercing. As well as super friendly and kind.

Cannot recommend Chief Piercing enough. have gotten most of my piercings here, but they really saved me today. went to a different place for second lobe piercings with a friend of mine. gushed blood all over my neck and shirt, walked out with a paper towel on my face to catch actively dripping blood. cleaned up at home and realized the piercings were crooked/uneven as well. called Chief to ask for an appointment, but was able to walk in same day. they assessed that my lobe piercing went through my cartilage, causing the excessive bleeding, and that it likely wouldnt have healed. they were super professional, explaining every step of the process, gentle and totally painless while removing/replacing my jewelry. will be back in a few weeks when my ear heals to get re-pierced by people who actually know what theyre doing, haha. thanks so much guys!

I highly recommend getting a piercing here. The price might seem high but you definitely get your money’s worth in both the quality of the jewelry and the service provided by the staff. They were incredibly kind and professional and great at what they do. Definitely going back for more.

Took my daughter in a few weeks ago to get her ears re-pierced. Turns out her holes were still there. Piercer put in the new jewelry and adjusted the price.The front desk was very friendly, the whole was very clean. Loved the service and vibe. Britt is amazing!!! Britt replaced my nostril piercing jewelry today after I had a horrible experience with another shop that I believed to be reputable at the time. Britt not only talked me through the process and was patient with me when I needed them to pause, they but made me feel so safe and cared for. Love this spot. High quality jewelry, and super chill temple vibe in the common space. Haven’t needed a new piercing in meany years but I’ve bought plugs a few times and my spouse came in for a jewelry swap; she was very well cared for. Bonus that it’s a women owned and operated business!

Had a great experience. My niece and I got piercings done by Britt; navel and nostril, respectively. They were very thorough on expectations and the whole process, making the experience very comfortable. They thoroughly sanitized after each pierced person and the receptionist provided detailed aftercare instructions with a small packet of sea salt. I would definitely get my next piercing here. Excellent customer service provided. Highly recommend this place for body piercings.

Overall great experience and would highly recommend. *Also for those questioning whether or not to get your daith pierced for migraines, DO IT! I had a migraine when I went in for my piercing and as SOON as the needle pierced my ear, so much pressure was relieved and I went from a migraine to mild headache. As time progressed even my headache went away.

If youre getting piercings this is where you should be.Update: Ive been going to CP to see the lovely Kat for 9 months, and today my mom finally got her nose pierced!!Ive had so many new sparkly additions to my body and Im pleased to report most were custom ordered jewelry pieces I will appreciate forever. Every experience is enjoyable from checking in, jewelry gazing, and even the actual piercing moments. I know Kat is going to help me pick the correct location for each new sparkle and be there for the healing process. I cant say enough about this kind shop in downtown Sacramento but if youre in the area .. pop in and see for yourself.Not an end to this journey just an end to this year. I cant wait to come back in 2017!

Ive been pierced here 8 times now and every single interaction, whether it be in person or over email/social media has been above and beyond! I wont let anyone else pierce me or change my jewelry!I took a friend with me for my most recent piercing and as soon as we walked in she commented on how great the energy is throughout the building, and how it puts you at ease.The prices are affordable, the jewelry selection is great, the appointment system is easy to use. You really couldnt ask for a better experience start to finish!

Got my nostril pierced here a couple years ago and just went back to get my septum re-pierced (made the mistake of going to a different shop) The experience is always amazing. The piercers are very welcoming and warm. Britt went over the different kinds of jewelry with me and walked me through the entire process. Loved the placement and was very happy with the result. Very professional and clean. Highly recommend !!

December 2019: super nice and welcoming staff but told me ALL the wrong aftercare steps. They recommended their soap bar and coconut oil for my piercings but I just learned (5 months later) from another piercer that a premixed saline spray is so much better. Soap bars obviously get bacteria and oils aren’t good for piercings, but I decided to listen to the professionals here and test them out. Really upset at the aftercare that Chief Piercing (specifically Katrina) told me. It resulted in me having to take my piercing out. Not a good experience.August 2020 update: I have to take out the second piercing now for the same reason. Still very upset and a huge emotional rollercoaster. I will not be going to Chief Piercing again.

Have had a migraine for over 50 days and was willing to try anything so opted to take a gamble on the diath piercing. I was super scared but staff was amazing. Very kind and truly made me feel at ease. Not 100% sure if it worked but do not regret it. My eye is not bouncing or blurry so I do think it was a benefit Thank you!

I always choose Chief, even if the appointment schedule requires a long wait - Its worth it, in my opinion, since these are changes to my body that require safety and respectful professionalism, which Chief has always provided for me.The customer experience is geared toward full mindful attentiveness and a nurturing, supportive, safety-first treatment. Having a planned appointment is very useful since the customer is given the full time and focus in both the retail and the procedural aspects. In addition, the Chief staff pays attention to the goals of the customer, and does not push the client.I highly recommend this business.

Though the price is higher than most tattoo and piercing places, Id definitely say without a doubt that the quality is worth it. the employees are very kind and instructive, and the jewelry is very high quality and safe for your body. im definitely going back in the future.

Brit pierced my lobes today and did great job getting me through the whole process. Im a lightweight - so I was offered water, cold compress and a lollipop and with some patience I was back on my feet!

The piercers are great but every time I check in with someone at the front desk, the person is either high, not knowledgeable, or simply have poor customer service skils. Please improve the front desk staff, theyre the first point of contact for customers.

Everything was great - presentation, service, selection and quality of jewelry, sanitation, painless piercing process, and I attribute that to a qualified piercer (thanks Katrina) but the wait time was long. I walked in and waited for at least 2 hours on a Sunday afternoon maybe around 3pm.

Ive been here a few times, in the past to get my nose re-pierced and to get my earlobes pierced. First off, the price for jewelry is very expensive here, so be prepared to financially invest. The jewelry is however great quality.And scheduling can be frustrating. I made an appointment online for a Saturday at 5:30 PM and the day of my appointment it was moved to 3:15 PM [I received a text notification around 12 PM]. I was unable to call and reschedule or reschedule online since it was past the 24hr mark and they dont answer phone calls. I was able to make it but they didnt even start my appoint until an hour later. I get that she does a good job walking through healing and has a very calm energy, but time management is not of the essence here. To say the least this left me a bit sour.

Good clean piercing place but the owner has terrible practice, katrina was very rude and hostile in contrast to the ‘pure zen vibe’ she preaches. terribly unprofessional. would not go back, Katrina does not have respect for the people she comes in contact with.

I love the website is easy to navigate and email questions are responded to in a timely fashion. I found this place right after COVID and while services were limited then Im happy to see more options available now as the world tried to navigate back to normal.My spouse took our kid to get her piercings and he was impressed with the whole vibe and cleanliness of everything. This is not a booth at a tattoo shop (nothing against that) but its a whole experience and my kid only wants to book here for more piercings.

Great atmosphere! Everyone is really positive and the place is chill and relaxed. The girl at the counter (I think her name was Sarah) and even the other piercer that was there were really attentive. I watched as they both worked together answering anyone’s questions that came in. Melody did my septum piercing. She was so sweet and caring, walked through everything she did/was going to do. It was my first time getting a body piercing besides ears, and Katrina is awesome: peaceful, patient, professional, calming, and kind. Katrina was so kind! She talks you through the process and is willing to answer all your questions.The wait time felt like nothing, but the waiting room itself was so nice!The actual room to get pierced was super sanitized but it didnt feel impersonal like you were in a doctors office like some other places are like. I liked that because it made it easier to relax so Katrina could do the piercing. She was professional and knowledgeable but also so sweet and I trust her to do any future work!

My first visit was last November and the most recent several days ago, and each time has been marked by excellent customer service and attention received. The environment is very clean and the atmosphere is very chill. Each staff member I’ve come in contact with has been extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. I now have a double nostril piercing and I’m absolutely thrilled, will not go anywhere else for my piercings and after-care visits because for me they’ve set the standard.

Amazing experience each and every time I go here, I refuse to go anywhere else for my piercings! Ive gotten four piercings here (Double lobes, Helix and septum) and one time to get my helix ring switched out. Each time Ive come in its very relaxed and you feel comfortable talking to whoever is there! Everyone working is so kind and will always reassure you. Good pricing too which is a plus! Cute and well decorated, while list staying clean and professional. I dont see myself going to a different shop anytime soon!

I had an amazing experience here. I got my cartilage pierced and they did an amazing job walking me through the process and making sure it was just what I wanted. The facility was clean and pleasant to be in, and all the staff were super helpful and friendly. Any and all questions they were able to answer. I was referred here by my boss and words are hard to express (other than using profane expressions lol) how wonderful this place is and the piercers are amazing!! The establishment is warm and inviting and Katrina (i believe is correct spelling) is so supportive, caring and genuine! Had a set of simple lobe piercings done here. A little pricey ($120 including tip) but so incredibly worth it. I was a walk in. Parking was easy. All staff were very professional, skilled, and knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable and safe. Jewelry options were extensive. Im already dying to get my nose pierced and even try my hand at becoming a piercer! Thanks Chief! This was a remarkably easy first piercing.

Katrina is as good as people say. Her presence and her voice is incredibly friendly and calming. She took the time to show me each of the tools she was using and explained why for each of them and she preferred to avoid the tools when possible. She offered affordable and attractive jewelry options when the ring I brought in was causing trouble but she didnt pressure me to buy anything. Best of all when she got down to jewelry removal and insersion, she was gentle and steady. Stellar service!

Katrina was fabulous! I have several piercings and have been to several places for them and Chief provided the best experience by far! Katrina is knowledgeable, takes the time to communicate with you, and creates such a wonderfully calming environment. This is not your typical experience. I will definitely be back!

She is very informative about your piercing. She walked me through the piercing and the aftercare. She was realistic about what I wanted and all the possible outcomes, the length of time for my piercing to heal. She is invested in your healing process by asking for pictures to make sure things are going right. She is the one to go to for any piercing.

I havent gotten my ears pierced in 24 years, I hate pain and the thought of needles, but the staff here, has made this experiences so wonderful, that I would not mind getting more and more piercing here, yes it takes a while for them to acknowledge, prior to getting you check in, but that it all due to the fact, that it is so busy, that they could not get you. I appreciate the free after care and instruction they give you. The staff is very professional and kind! Plus proper sanitation is also a plus, since they wipe down all bed after each piercing.

Wow... what can I say besides AMAZING! I went in and the front desk guy was friendly. The wait was a bit longer than expected but once I went back to get pierced, I realized why. The owner really spent her time explaining everything to me in detail and customized this piercing to me specifically. I am so in love with Chief Piercing. By far the best studio I’ve been to for sure , after a few bad incidents I made sure I was very careful first place my piercing didn’t even a month, second place I went for a deal they had end up off centered , and this place they are more pricey but they have better jewelry selection looks like better quality also ! I finally have a healed beautiful piercing. Glad I decided to tag along with my friend if it wasn’t for her I probably wouldn’t have known about this place

For my birthday, I got a daith and helix piercing (I had originally wanted a industrial, but was told they could not/would not do that to my ear, as it would case issues. They gave me safer, new ideas instead that I loved.). Sufficed to say, five stars, two thumbs up. Will be using again in the future!

I dont think Ill ever go to another place for piercings or my body jewelry. The staff is kind, attentive, calming, and knowledgeable. My nose ring fell out and I decided to get a hoop instead and they fitted it for me and gave me a new back to my ring that popped out - all in 30 minutes! Grateful for this place.

Ive gotten 8 piercings from here so far. I got my first 4 (2 draith and 2 tragus, one on each side) here and they healed wonderfully. A month later I got my latest 4 (2 helix and a lobe on one side and 1 lobe on the other). Its been 2-3 months since then and Ive had zero issues and all 8 are doing well. I will come back here when I have time to finish!

Super late post, but I came here back in February to see for myself the friendliness and professionalism of the staff, the vibe of the place, and all the wonderful things I had read in the reviews.Chief Piercing is walk- in only on a first- come- first- serve basis, which is great if youre terrified and unsure about getting a certain piercing like I was.Once you are there, you can take a number to hold your place and walk around the old classy building, wait in some antique chairs, or go grab food around the corner and come back after the people ahead of you have been seen.The staff are all unique and friendly, patient and informative. I had a bazillion questions and they calmly answered all of them and eased my nerves. I had one impression on my piercing when I went in, and after speaking with the staff for a few minutes, had a better, corrected impression of what I really wanted and why.I decided to take my number and wait.My piercer was Daman. I was super pleased to get called back into one of the private rooms and watch him set up everything in a very sterile manner. He explained what each pierce of equipment was, different techniques used for piercing vs what techniques he uses and why, confirmed with me that I indeed wanted to still get my piercing... Since I was visibly trembling... Then began to reassure me and speak so calm and confidently, it actually made me feel way better. I did all my research for months before I decided to go get pierced, but even still, Daman was teaching me all kinds of things based off his knowledge and experience. That is someone who truly loves what he does.It takes someone to be comfortable with their skill as well as themselves in order to joke around and soothe an anxious customer, while in the act of, well.. Piercing them in a very private area.I couldnt imagine going anywhere else to get my nipples pierced. The aftercare instructions were great, the piercing itself, was painful but quick and professional.If I had to do it all over again, I would go back in a heartbeat. Any other future piercings I get will be at Chief Piercing.Thank you guys, keep up the awesome!

My experience there so far has been awesome! I’ve gotten two helix piercings there and the staff they have are very encouraging and nice, I highly recommend. And yes I’m going back for more piercings!

Read the reviews here and it looked promising. I came in around 1:52 on a Wednesday and by the end of everything I was walking out at 2:40. I wanted to get a VCH piercing, and I was a little hesitant because it is an intimate piercing and if it gets messed up, it could be really bad. However, that was not the case, Damon explained what would happen and what he was doing so I wasnt wondering what was going on down there. I was hoping for a female piercer, but it didnt really matter in the end since Damon is experienced. All in all, it was short, only as painful as a piercing is, and it was decently priced! Im definitely recommending any of my friends who are looking for any new piercings.

The only bad reviews I have read about this place are people who have never had to be patient and wait for anything in their life. You know what takes less time? A a bad unclean job at your house or an unclean shop. The people here are incredibly kind and professional and the place is very clean. I definitely will come back and I will highly recommend it.

This is a really nice little place, it has a comfortable feel, and the piercing artist Katrina is very professional. They also have very high quality jewelry for an affordable price.

Bad customer service, walked in and none of the employees even acknowledged I was there and they obviously was me case they made eye contact with me. Seemed like the employees were high every time I came in. Jewelry is way overpriced. $140 for 2 pieces you can get elsewhere for $14.
