I got my tattoo done with Jo and had the most amazing time! It was my first tattoo and a custom design so I was very nervous, but she was so helpful through the whole thing and made the process more amazing! I would come back again and again

David is such a talented artist and I’m so glad I went to him for my first color tattoo. I spent a lot of time looking into an artist that would be a good fit in terms of style and color technique that most matched my personality. I had an idea and concept of what I wanted. He took it and came up with art that beautifully represented what I was looking for.He really takes time to know you, what the tattoo means for you, elements that are important to you, and then he reviews his finished piece before he starts working.His new shop is immaculate and well thought out. From when you walk up to the building, enter to the beautiful space, and the layout. You can tell it was done with a purpose. It is a beautiful shop. I could sit there and have coffee or even read a book.He and his amazing husband have a way of making you feel very comfortable and welcome. I definitely look forward to having more pieces created by him.

Working with David was an pleasurable experience. He was so careful w my skin as well as wonderful detail he put in to my tattoo. Definitely my favorite tattoo artist of all times. Can’t wait to meet you again for a new work.🤩

Great tattoo experience at Ghost Ink Studio. Love the open air concept in their studio, nice serene environment & very welcoming. Love the fact the studio is lgbtq friendly. David did such an amazing job! It was my first tattoo and he made the whole experience easy. I had come to him with a rough idea of what I wanted and he came out with a unique design that went above and beyond my expectations. He was professional the entire time and his shop is well decorated to give a sense of calm. Highly recommend him to anyone planning to get some ink.

Davids creativity and signature style is exactly what I wanted when getting a new tattoo. He took my idea and presented something with his artistic view and it is beautiful and incorporated what I wanted! His attention to detail and application skills are high level! Amazing line work and smooth shading. He makes sure to pack in color to make it pop and be vibrant.The sessions were relaxed and David makes you feel super comfortable. After the AMAZING job David from Ghost Ink Tattoo Company on a tattoo to commemorate the adoption of my 1st child, I just HAD to go back for a second! Currently the second is being finished by David and I could not be happier with the progress.David is not only an amazing artist but a beautiful human as well. Hes created an environment of comfort and trust. His process of creating your piece of art is detailed and very involved. He spends the time with you to truly hear what you want and create the piece. Personally I am not artistic in ANY way, I gave David my ideas, thoughts and feelings behind what I wanted and trusted him to create a PERFECT piece.Im looking forward to finishing my 2nd and hopefully working on more in the future. This is the most beautiful tattoo shop I have ever been to. They had snacks and drinks for you to have during your tatooo process. The chair was really comfortable and my artist David made sure I was comfortable the entire time, brought me a pillowfor my neck and let me readjust whenever I needed. The space was super sanitary and impeccably decorated. My tattooo came out beautifully too, and I will definitely be coming back for more. My artist was very considerate of the design and how it would flow with my other tattoos and made sure I had a design I would love!Thank you David and Ghost Ink Company!

I have admired David’s work back to when he was still living in San Diego. I was finally ready to pull the trigger on starting a sleeve, so I reached out to him to see if he would be interested in doing it with the concept I had in mind. I am so happy I chose him to do my sleeve because the design he came up with is WAY BETTER than what I had in my mind. The space is clean, fresh, and it feels more like a lounge than a tattoo parlor. I love their design and concept. I travel to Sacramento once a month from San Diego to have him work on my sleeve, and it is totally worth it. His unique design aesthetic sets him apart from other tattoo artists, and I know my sleeve will definitely be one of a kind!!! I couldn’t be happier with the design and how my sleeve is coming along!!!

Ghost Ink Co. is a beautiful private tattoo studio. I would recommend it especially for someone looking for a comfortable & caring tattoo experience.David is so kind, lovely and an absolutely incredible artist. He gave me a gorgeous piece of art I will treasure for the rest of my life.

LOCATIONThe prettiest, classiest tattoo parlor I’ve ever been in. This is my second tattoo with David, but the first in Ghost Ink. Parking was easy, a few spots situated right in front. There’s a decal of their logo on the large glass window so you can’t miss it. The inside is pristine, beautiful dark blue wall, plants, and framed artwork.ARTISTRY & CUSTOMER SERVICEBut what I really appreciated was the top-notch customer service. David not only offered free snacks (omg!), but you can really tell the perfectionist he is by how meticulously he sets up his workspace, lays down the stencil, and explains his process before he starts. He was in no rush, which is a good trait in a tattoo artist because if he was frazzled and in a hurry to get me out the door, my tattoo wouldn’t look as prime as it does.PAINEveryone’s pain tolerance is different, but let me tell you for all 13 tattoos I’ve gotten, he’s the first one to use numbing spray. It was a gamechanger. I sat through my 5-hour session feeling no pain except for first hour or so. I would keep coming back to get more ink just for that.PRICEHe is worth it, trust me. The place is clean, you get snacks, and his work is amazing.

Got a gorgeous arm piece done here! Ghost ink and it’s artists were super kind, especially because I was there for 7 hour session! They made sure folks had water and energy and my artist (William) did amazing work. Would absolutely recommend. The space also queer as hell!! Felt super welcoming and inclusive.

David Ramses has been amazing to work with from the first design consultation for a custom tattoo. I traveled from San Francisco to Sacramento because of how much I like his style. This will be the first of many with him.
