Good as Gold Tattoo

Tattoo artist Bex did an amazing dog portrait for me at Good as Gold. The studio is clean, bright and very friendly. The music and ambiance is amazing as well. I would highly recommend this spot, particularly Bex!

I have been to this studio once to see Kasenya for lip blushing. I was referred to this artist from a friend. I was told to expect a first session which would be longer + another one as a touch up which was included in the price.My first appointment went fine but faded a lot so I was looking forward to touch up. I am not local to Sac, live about 2 hours away which Kasenya knew since we discussed general life stuff when we met.The second appointment she reached out 30 min before we were scheduled to push back our start time 30 mins, I said this was fine since running behind is understandable. She reaches out 30 mins later and says she needs to cancel now. This is frustrating but understandable to me, things can come up. I reschedule but remind Kasenya I had driven far for this so cant cancel a second time.Then a few days before my rescheduled appointment Kasenya reached out to say her new policy is that touch ups have a $100 fee. At this point I was super annoyed. The original price was supposed to be $150 all in so this is a significant increase. I tell her how frustrating this is and remind her I already have gone out of my way to be accommodating. She seemed completely unsympathetic and canceled my appointment.Last minute cancelations + changing policy like that is super unprofessional. Unfortunately I know she also did this to my friend who originally referred me so potentially a regular thing.
