I was a bit nervous walking in but Richard made me really comfortable. Great shop and great price. I got a cat lady tattoo. Very easy going and super friendly guy that instantly makes you feel at home. Plus, he loves Jesus so it was a total Godsend because I LOVE Jesus. I’ll be going back for sure.

I’ve had Art 4 Art Sake do 9 of my 11 tattoos and the only o es they haven’t are my first tattoo, and one that was gifted to me. I love their work and get compliments all the time, with people wanting to know which shop and artist did them because they want to go there too. The shop is friendly, comfortable, convenient and they offer a totally clean and safe environment. Women can feel totally safe here and the staff is professional while staying friendly and warm. Cannot recommend enough! Also, the photos are the next I could do but hardly “pro”!

I have used this shop for a lot of work now along with several piercings. They are reasonable with a budget and put heart in to their work every time. I would recommend to anybody who is looking for an easy going experience with beautiful art.

Richard is fantastic to say the least. He worked in a wonderful memorial tattoo of multiple birds into one for me, using a wonderful colors and details. He also did a huge coverup on my forearm that I love dearly. I highly recommend Rich and his shop, seeing as I drive from the sierra mountains to his shop . Worth the drive

I got two nostril piercings done here by Richard! Great prices and very quickly done. Great guy and great customer service. He also provides a detailed list of how to care for your piercings and will tell you what you need and where to get it! Would definitely recommend going here. Will be coming back again soon!

I made an appointment with Richard, we had a miscommunication when we first set up the appointment. When we finally met and he pierced me, not only did I feel comfortable with him, but he was also very informative. Hes a busy guy but he knows his stuff.

Got my septum here. So stoked! Great service. The artist was super supportive and cheerful all the way. If I had two noses, I would pierce both! Best guys!!!

Richard is a bad ass artist, with a great sense of humour who is great at what he does. He tattooed my hand which I was a little leery about, but he did it quick and clean, and it looks fantastic. He did two tattoos, one for me and my roommate for a great price and they both look awesome. We had a blast the entire time and we highly recommend his shop. Ill be going back to have him finish an old piece I started two years ago, which for the longest time I couldnt find an artist to touch. Thank you Art for Arts sake!!!!

Rich is the absolute best. Works quickly with the needle and leaves you with amazing body art. Cannot reccomend him enough. He was talking to me throughout the entire process and worked with me really well. Took what I wanted into consideration, but wasnt afraid to tell me it could be better.

Disappointed to say the least. Don’t get me wrong, Richards talented. When I came in and had a consultation it wasn’t even with Richard, it was with his friend who was very nice. We went over what I wanted and I had a pretty good idea of what it would look like. Signed the contract, gave him my $40 deposit and scheduled my session for March 21.March 21 comes I drive to the shop and am told that an emergency came up with his son and his school and that he needed to reschedule. Irritated a little for not getting a txt or phone call before hand, even it was short notice. I have no choice but to say ok and he can see I’m a little irritated so he says he has the sketch if I wanted to see it. Of course I did and I was pleasantly surprised, it was awesome. Told me not to let anyone use his work and I agreed and we set it up for that next Tuesday March 26th. I was a little late and he seemed a little irritated, but he had resched with no notice or call so I wasn’t worried.As you can see it’s only half done and as expected it hurt, but bad enough to where it was hard to be completely statue still, so we were gonna split it into 2 sessions. He told me aftercare instructions and told me to call him when it completely healed and we would set a date to finish. I waited a couple weeks and contacted him on April 5 no response, April 9 and he said he couldn’t get to it until the week of April 22 and that he would call. He didn’t so I sent him several msgs on April 24, 28, May 5 and May 10 which is when i was told he was overwhelmed and booked for the next three weeks.Getting more angry I tell him I’d like to have it done by summer and that the first couple weeks in June would be ok and he said June is fine, no date, just June.May 17 I contact him asking for a date and also May 25 and he says I’m scheduled in June. What? I have no date! I tell him that and still didn’t get a date that day! Contact him again June 8 and he just asks what day? I tell him I have a couple things; my daughters graduation, kids dr appts but I would work around his sched if I had to. He asks if I could do the 13th, my daughter had a dental appt that day, but I said yes. Asked move it to 4 and he replied with 2:30 and thats it. 2:30 it is!Show up and he asks what we’re doing today, in my opinion didn’t really remember What? I said the other half and he goes on to tell me that we had discussed a fee of another $60 for not sitting still! We never discussed it nor did he mention it in any of the txts leading up to that date, or on the deposit form that had all the other fees listed....I would remember owing another $60 after already paying him $200, which is why I didn’t bring any cash. It gets to the point where I just say no I’m not paying more and end up leaving.Next day he txts wanting to sched touch ups on what was already done, on him. I explain my feelings toward the situation on June 16 and get no response. Few more days I txt again and he says he doesn’t want to argue or get into a pissing match!I just wanted my tattoo finished! I have talked to many people who have never heard of a sitting still fee, and if he had one, it should have been listed with the others. You can’t just create fees along the way....He made me feel like his time was the only time that mattered or was wasted! I made a few trips for nothing! I love what was done, but I’m not gonna be treated like I’m just another dollar for his wallet. He may be cool outside of running his business, but wasn’t very professional, esp with customer satisfaction.

Made an appointment for 12:30 on Monday the 18th, and when I arrive 5 minutes early nobody is there. I waited for 40 minutes, and I have had almost no free time recently with work being hectic and all so I am really upset that I wasted time waiting when I could have been doing more important things.They are supposed to be open at 12, but the lights are off, door locked, no signs of life... kind of agitated that I didnt even get a courtesy call. I can only assume there was some kind of personal emergency, but i still feel like I should have been called.Super disappointed because both my friend and I were very excited about getting our piercings and we had hearf such good things about this place.

IGreat little shop. Its what I had hoped it would be. All kinds of chartacter. Lots art and various collectible items spread out across the entire shop. I dont think you could get bored.We came to get my teenage daughters ears pierced for the 3rd time.1st two times ended all bad. But her ears now are perfect and she is soooo happy. Its been a month or and she is totally healed and has zero of the issues she did in the past.I will be coming back for a tattoo. Thanks dude!!

I got my nose pierced and was happy. He relieved my fear and explained all i needed to do to stop any infections. I thought it would hurt but before i could blink it was over.Thank you.

Ive had a tattoo and my nipples pierced here. The tattoo came out alright. 4 years later and my nipple piercings have rejected. I had to get them re-pierced. The new piercer pierced them closer to the base of my nipple than they were originally done.
