I got my nose pierced here over a year ago. It went well, and everything was explained to me before and during the piercing. I love how the after care stuff is given to you when you leave. I came in yesterday and Nicole did my daith and conch piercings. She was very professional and made me feel comfortable and at ease. She asked how I was doing after each piercing. I will be coming back for any more piercings in the future. Very clean environment.

I got two piercings done by Julia, and I was so impressed. She was very sweet and personable, and walked me through everything she was going to do before/as she did it. I have a number of other piercings done by different people in different places, and Julia really stands out as having done an excellent job from start to finish. I’m very happy with both of my new piercings and the jewelry in them. The store was clean and has a wide variety of jewelry options. The staff at the front were super great and helpful as well!Overall, I had a great experience, and will happily recommend getting pierced here.

I’ve had all 3 of my piercings done here. Good prices, great staff, great selection. It feels very clean and professional and always pretty quick. I love that they walk you through every step and go through the after care with you. Nicole has pierced two of my piercings and she is very nice. I love this place!

I got my septum re-pierced and my eyebrow done at Almost Famous in St. Cloud! I was in and out and Julia did an amazing job! Happy with the results and with the piercer! She was awesome & was willing to reposition the lineup a few times to make sure on my placement with no issues! I’ll definitely come back again for a future piercing! :)

I got my nose pierced there a few years ago and everything went great, my nose healed up amazing. But the angle that my piercer pierced it, it is at such a weird angle and it is super complicated for me to get any jewelry in. Once i first changed it I had to go from a 16g to a 20g because of how awkwardly I had to move the stud just for it to go in. I ended up getting the other side of my nostril pierced in January of this year (at a different and in my opinion more professional piercing shop) and when my new piercer was trying to line everything up she even stated on how messed up my first piercer pierced my nose. Piercings are very expensive and not something I can’t just treat myself with. It’s unfortunate but at this point I feel like it is just easier to wait the year and let it close just to spend over $100 again on a piercing i’ve already had and jewelry (let alone the anxiety of another piercing). I would highly suggest looking into different piercings places, it is worth it in the long run to spend a little bit more.

My piercer was Julia and I believe she just got her certification. Y’all this is definitely her field! I’ve had a hard time in the past with piercers not communicating about what they’re doing, get frustrated with me about the placement, etc. Julia was nothing like that! I told her I had different size lobes and she re did the placement about 5x before she had them (literally) perfect, I never had to ask her to re-do it myself. She not only walked me through all of the steps before hand but during the piercing as well, answered all of my questions, and made me feel comfortable about asking the questions! Definitely recommend! Hopefully these ladies will have a proper shop eventually instead of being stuck in the mall!! Thank you again Julia 🫶🏻

I had an amazing experience here, my piercer, julia, was so sweet and made me feel comfortable, she explained everything she was doing before she did it and made sure i was feeling okay before continuing. if i could rate 6 stars i would, would definitely go again !

I got two piercings by Sandy and she was so professional and thorough with how the piercing was going to go and the aftercare needed. Overall it was a wonderful experience and I’d highly recommend this place and especially Sandy!!

I went into Almost Famous Body Piercing, when I got it pierced it went fast. The piercer was so kind. It didn’t take long to get pierced, it’s a good place to get your piercings at!

I feel bad I forgot my piercers name. She was really awesome! Very knowledgeable and walked me through the process. She was also patient with me. That was the best. It’s nice to walk into an establishment for a service. Especially by someone who knows what they are doing. Very professional. The girls at the front were also very sweet. 1000% worth the money. I have got 3 piercings from here and they are really good, i recently got my nose pierced and the lady that did it her name was Nicole and she did such a good job I was nervous to get my nose pierced but thanks to her I started to calm down. I would recommend coming here for any kinds of piercings you want 😃

My friend and I went in and got pierced by Jenna. It was a super good experience, super fast, everything was very clean and she was very good about explaining everything she was doing. Virtually painless eyebrow piercing too, maybe it normally doesnt hurt that bad I dont know but I thought she did a great job. We did have a little bit of a wait, but considering that they accept walk-ins I think thats super understandable. I would highly recommend them, Ill probably be going back soon to get my nose pierced. I guess the only thing I could maybe complain about was they didnt have a very wide selection of jewelry for initial piercing, But they have an awesome selection for healed piercings :-)

Got my nipples pierced here, it was a fantastic experience here. Very clean, very professional, and incredibly nice. Julie is a top tier piercer.

Brought my daughter in to get her ears pierced today. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. They walked us through each step of the process and made sure she was comfortable with proceeding. Lindsey did the piercing and was kind and caring. After the piercing all of the staff oohd and ahhhd about the piercing to give her confidence. Could not have asked for a better experience. (Bring a birth certificate AND a picture ID)

Got my rook and helix done by Eren, the whole thing only took about 20 minutes with a walk-in! I was a bit nervous after a bad piercing experience at another shop, but Eren was extremely kind and accommodating while walking me through the whole thing. Couldn’t recommend more!

Piercer was very friendly and made sure to make me comfortable throughout the entire process. Great selection of body jewelry. Great alternative to take your children to get their ears pierced compared to Claires where they use a piercing gun as opposed to sterile equipment.

Ive gotten 4 piercings done here over the last year (nostril, tragus, daith, rook), and they have all been great! Jenna did my most recent two and she was absolutely amazing!! The jewelry is a bit on the expensive side, but thats just my opinion personally.

I stopped in to see if I could get my nose stud shortened - those are the exact words I used (it is the one with the flat back), the staff said sure but I would need an appointment. They didnt have any that day so I would randomly stop in or call to see how long the next open appointment, with busy schedule myself it is hard to find the time to spend waiting for an appointment after work or getting there right when they open. Finally, probably 2 months after initially stopping in, I had an appointment that I didnt have to wait HOURS for, went to do some shopping waiting for my time. Came back to find out they would be charging me for a new shorter stud. I was NEVER told that it would need to be a new stud. IF I had known that, I would have bought the stud and changed it at home MONTHS AGO! I dont understand this business I have had nothing but issues with them and their appointments that you have to be in person to make. So if I get there at 3:00 and their next opening isnt until 6, I have to waste 3 hours of my time. WHY cant they allow people to call ahead and make an appointment AND allow walk-ins for when the appointments cancel/dont show up?? Makes no sense!

VERY unprofessional!! They had us waiting for 30 minutes meanwhile 4 piercers were messing around in one of the piercing rooms and then all taking pictures, my fiancé said something and they said “we’re just taking a picture before setting up” this place is a joke!!!!!

Ive gotten all 3 of my piercings here and want to get more. my wife and my bestie have also gotten piercings done here. Never had an issues aside from if they are busy it may be a little bit of a wait but not too long. very clean and staff is helpful and friendly.

I got my nose pierced there 2 years ago and just got my lip pierced there today. both times were more than perfect :) they talk you through everything and everyone there has such a kind energy to them. i got a little faint after my lip piercing and they instantly let me lay down, got me water, and even have a fan they turned on. love them!!

Terrible customer service. Had a time slot and arrived 20 mins early, sat on the benches waiting as they called others names. Eventually my time slot comes and goes and they never call my name, we ask how long its going to be and they say oh yeah your piercer just went on lunch now and but we can get you in in 2 hours after weve already been waiting 40 mins and they all saw us waiting. There was 4 of them just standing theretalking to rach other, just lazy and skipped our name. will just be going elsewhere.

**WENT IN FOR BELLY BUTTON GOT JUST BELLY PIERCING**it is not one of the most reputable piercing shops in Minnesota, the professional piercing association does not recognize a single location. very very bold claim to be making thereso apparently i just learned that my navel was not pierced but in fact she pierced my stomach. you should not be piercing someone if you dont know how to do it correctly. please DONT be piercing a stomach and letting them go home thinking everything is fine. that is scummy business, ALSO if you get a navel piercing you will need to downsize your piercing. they dont tell you that or mention it anywhere.

Jewelry is not made of the metals they claim. I had my jewelry tested. They claimed it was titanium with a pvd coating. The place I brought my jewelry laughed when I told them. The jewelry came back as mostly nickel. They also have a tendency to blame the client. I wont be going back here or referring anyone to purchase jewelry here in the future. 🤷‍♀️

It has been really sore since, so I went to a local piercing shop close to where I live. Told them what was was going on, they put new jewelry in (they only use 100% titanium), and instant relief! I warned almost famous that I have sensitive ears and can only have certain metals, they told me everything would be fine, with their titanium, turns out some titanium still has nickel in it.

I brought my 9 month daughter here to get her ears pierced. The girls were really nice and explained everything what they were doing. They did both her ears at the same time which was nice. It was perfectly even. Also the earrings were the $55 ones and the backs stay on and never fallen off. Definitely recommend my friends to do here then a Claire’s.

I passed out twice after getting my septum pierced because I pass out easy and was likely dehydrated, but they were super polite and respectful. They never made me feel uncomfortable and did everything the could so I was safe. My piercer was also very kind and respectful. Overall my piercing experience was amazing despite what happened so I would 100% recommend!

Very friendly, professional and knowledgable staff made us feel welcome and informed. A friend and I came out to this location a couple weeks ago and are absolutely thrilled with the work done! They made sure we were comfortable (we got some sensitive piercings!) and our piercing artist, Lindsey, was thorough, precise & also quick. She did six total piercings on us two walk-ins and made it a wonderful experience we will always remember!!

I got my tongue done Monday and the piercer eren was amazing! I was so scared to get it done but she was so nice and assured me it would be so quick and it absolutely was. She did my friends nose also and my friend liked her also! Decent prices and friendly staff. Thanks almost famous! 😊

I had a great experience today with my piercing! Unfortunately I dont remember the name of the girl who pierced my nose, but she was great. She kept me relaxed and helped me when I felt lightheaded. She kept checking up on my every once and awhile and made sure I wasnt alone. The piercing was quick and easy with only a little bit of pain. Definitely worth it and I will be going back. I hope to see that same girl again, she was great.

Ive gotten several piercings here, and theyve always done an amazing job at discussing jewelry size and aftercare for each one. The employees are also very friendly, and theyve been super helpful in working with me for other things too, such as changing out jewelry, and working around my swelling problem. Every piercing Ive gotten here has healed fabulously and without any problems. I will definitely keep coming here, and highly recommend.

I took my daughter here to get her ears pierced and to get mine redone and the experience couldnt have been better. My daughter was nervous, but the staff did an amazing job helping her feel at ease and in control of the experience. Colleen was so engaging while she helped my daughter pick out her jewelry. We took our daughter here to get her ears pierced for the first time and I couldnt have been more impressed. The staff is super friendly and professional, Lindsey did a great job making my daughter feel comfortable and also made sure the piercings were perfectly even. 10 out of 10! would definitely recommend!

The staff here has an incredible sense of humor as well as very informative. My favorite thing was the person checking us in was very straightforward with me about what I could and couldn’t do jewelry wise for the piercing I wanted and went out of her way to confirm with the piercer and find out more details to explain it because I was confused. Lastly the best part of my experience was after paying. I ended up getting dizzy and nauseous and the staff made me feel comfortable and helped me the entire time until I felt better and never once made me feel like I was causing them problems. Im awful with names so I can’t call anyone out specifically, but everyone I’ve ever worked with there is incredible.

I had piercings done a couple days by Allison. The lady who first greeted us was very friendly and helpful. We only had a short wait and the normal paperwork. The shop was very bright and clean. All implements were sterile and removed from packaging in front of us. Allison was very professional and made me feel comfortable. She let me know what she was doing step by step and was quick with the actual piercing. She thoroughly covered aftercare instructions. I love my piercings and will return in the future if I decide on another. Thanks!

Trianna gave me a nostril, conch, and two cartilage. The peircings look so good. She explained everything thoroughly, was very careful, and was able to put up with me whining.

Would post a picture but I got my nipples pierced. The girl who pierced them did an amazing job. She talked me through the process very calm and detailed. It helped me relax because of her professionalism. I unfortunately do not remember her name, I was in a lot of pain. She did have pink and black hair. She had super calm vibes. If I decide to get another piercing it would be with her. She floored me away.

I went to get my septum pierced here and I had an amazing experience. They were quick and straight forward with instructions and kept me calm the entire time. My piercing turned out incredible, not too high or too low, I highly recommended :)

Fast, Affordable, Convenient and Friendly! Highly recommend for your next piercing! Got my ears done and was having some issues with swelling which is natural. Went back in and they switched my current earrings out with ones that had a longer post for free! Was in and out within 5 minutes! They stand by their service!

Allison did an incredible job on my eyebrow piercing. Placement is great, quick and painless piercing and no issues with aftercare or healing so far. It looks even better than I thought it would! No redness, bruising and minimal swelling. She was really nice too. Jewelry was priced well and hypoallergenic. Definitely recommend her and getting your piercings here.

Great BOGO deal going on, I only paid $100 for two piercings back to back. My piercers name was Lindsey and they did a great job at making sure my vertical labret came out straight and made sure I was aware of the whole procedure. It was quick, easy and smooth! Overall a great experience, I’d recommend this place and plan on coming back.

Went to get my first (other than my ears) piercing today! My nostril.I was extremely nervous and wasn’t really sure what to expect.They were extremely helpful, calming, reassuring, and knowledgeable.Katelyn was the one who did my piercing and walked me through the whole process. She explained every step and the piercing literally didn’t even hurt at all.It was quick and painless which I was expecting at least some pain.She went over the aftercare well, explained everything about infection, how to keep it clean, etc.I left feeling good and comfortable with my knowledge.My eyes didn’t even water- she must have done it that perfectly ;)Highly recommend. I’m super happy with my piercing.

I dont review often, but I had a nose piercing today by Jenna. She was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The shop was bright and clean, and myself, being a health care professional, liked the fact I could see the autoclave where implements are sterilized.She let me know, step by step what she was doing and what to expect. The actual piercing was surprisingly less painful than I expected and she was fast.I would definitely have her do any future piercings I may want to have. Thanks Jenna, you were awesome!!

I went there yesterday to have my nose repiercered after having to take it out for my first job years ago. They were all SUPER friendly and kind and did everything with ease! At the last second I decided to have my Monroe done and they had an amazing special going on so I didnt have to pay extra. I also love how their care products are all natural and they were very thorough. I give them 100/5 stars and I will be there again

I got my navel pierced from here about two weeks ago it’s so awesome nothing painful i love it so much and the piercer who did my piercing is call Allison she is very professional and nice, i didn’t have any infection or pain after she pierced for me and i felt like nothing happened to my bellybutton and normal like it alway is just in two days. She done a great job 👍.

DO NOT GO HERE. If I could give it a zero, I really would. I’m not one to write reviews, or even complain for that matter, but the staff and manager made me cry because they were so rude to me. First off, they did not center my piercing. AT ALL. BUT, I did not want to deal with it healing to get it repierced etc so I didn’t say anything. (That part I’ll admit was on me) THEN, my piercer, Lindsey, told me that I would receive shorter posts for free after heal time, and that they would change it for free. (I bought all 3 for $80) Apparently that’s not the case, and after I explained to the manager what my piercer said, she didn’t do anything about it. Like at all. She did not apologize, offer anything different, or offer any solutions. She simply said, “well that’s wrong.” Listen, I WOULD NOT HAVE BOUGHT MY OPAL JEWELRY THERE FOR THAT PRICE, PERIOD. I was misinformed and then charged an extra $71 that I was told was free. Tell me how these “opal” tops with the backs were $80, but the replacement backs are $71? Unprofessional and I am astounded. Really need to hire a new manager with real customer service skills that can train their employees to give out correct information.

The workers are very knowledgeable! When I called and asked questions about getting my 5 year-olds ears pierced, the woman on the phone took the time to answer all my questions and more to help me make am educated decision. The prices were very reasonable and the piercer did a great job.

With all the restrictions going on lately, I was having a hard time trying to find someone to help me with my micro dermal. The gem fell off and went down the drain. So I needed it replaced ASAP because I was very worried about the piercing closing up. So, I called Almost Famous and I got in almost right away. I maybe waited 15 minutes tops. My artist was Jenna and she was amazing! I could tell she cared and took pride in her work. She was very professional. Thank you again Jenna!

Decided to save some $$ but was a total mistake! Ive had many piercings at professional shops & have had absolutely no issues. I gushed blood which is NOT normal! Would not recommend what so ever! Pay the extra at a more professional place like Wing Nut...where they guarantee their work!

I was shown an ear model and pointed to the piercing I wanted to the receptionist at the front desk. She told me it was called an anti-tragus. Tragus and anti-tragus are buy one get one free piercings. Turns out, I was told the wrong thing by the receptionist. I had already been quoted for the piercings as bogo, but while in the piercing room, they told me what I pointed at was called a surface piercing, and that it wasn’t part of the deal and I would have to pay for that piercing too. The manager, Jenna, said “that’s not going to happen” when I said I wanted the price I was quoted. When I asked for a district manager’s phone number she said she could pass along my number.

The staff are friendly and professional. I needed to replace my eyebrow ring, and they even placed it for no additional charge. I got in and out relatively fast. They were also much cheaper than the other shops around the Saint Cloud area.

I had my tongue and eyebrow pierced here and the process was quick with minimal pain! Piercings (almost) always hurt but the lady (Jenna) who did mine was so fast and precise that the worst of the pain only lasted a second. The jewelry is in before you know it, shes amazing. Very clean and professional, they give you what you need for the healing process, and the tote they give you at checkout for your supplies is really nice! Its a bit spendy since they require you to buy the aftercare products in addition to the service, but if youre willing to shell out, Id recommend.

Got my nose pierced here and it was perfect, got infected a couple times but Im pretty sure thats just because my skin is sensitive. Amazing jewelry selection thats super cheap and great quality, only piercing place that changes my jewelry for free every time I go there. Great staff that actually care about you and I love going there!!! Best place ever

The process it’s self was ok, buuuuuut I got my nose pierced in October, it would not heal, it was disgusting and gross looking from day 3 on, which can be the case with a nose piercing so I just tried to ride it out! First of all they told me a hoop was ok for a fresh piercing and put one in as my starter, well fast forward to yesterday (about 3 months after) I hit my nose ring with my finger nail and thought I popped the ring open and I knew I couldn’t close it myself so I went to a piercing shop a bit closer to home….well I did not pop it open I broke the ring in half with my FINGER NAIL! It was literally falling apart, mind u I had told them initially I was allergic to nickel and lead, the ring they stuck in my nose was the best option they had for my allergies….and after 3 months of having it in my nose it fell apart? That’s gotta be a joke???I was also informed u should NEVER start ur nose piercing with a hoop, it’s a curved object going into a fresh straight hole, half the reason it wouldn’t even close to heal!! The shotty scetchy 5$ jewelry I paid 60$ for being the other half of the problem!! Safe to say I will literally never go back!! And be careful with this place!!!! If u have sensitive skin at all highly recommend going else where!! If I could give 0 stars I would!!

I had Alison as my piercer, she was so friendly and answered any question I had before I even committed to my piercings. Once we got back in the room she made me feel super comfortable and talked her way through the entire process! The piercings turned out perfect and I love them. The rest of the staff was super great as well, I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone!

I got my nose ring pierced by keelee. She was sooo nice I felt comfortable. I read about the reviews about keelee before i got to the shop and the reviews were right! She’s a good piercer and it was fast :)

The ladies who worked there were very very nice! Leaving a great review because I couldn’t tip because I paid with a card, but wish I could have! The lady who pierced me was named Jenna, I’m not quite sure of the other ladies’ names but they were all so sweet and the piercing was a short process.😊

I was extremely happy with my piercer she was awesome. Today I went back to get one of my piercings changed out. The girl behind the counter was extremely rude. Bad bad customer service. After waiting 40 minutes and basically having a disagreement about the change out I paid for my jewelry and left. This young ladys attitude was ridiculous. Im very angry about this visit and it was my last. She should really rethink her choice to work in customer service. My daughter has also decided to not return to this place as she was with me and could not believe the attitude.

I was on vacation and my nipple ring ball fell off. I had to find somewhere close and ended up here. The store was very clean and organized, I had many rings to chose from and the whole experience was great! Tanya was amazing helping me! I would absolutely go back and get more piercings.

Incredibly rude, unwelcoming, and unpleasant manager who treated not only her employees with contempt but us as well. Why would anyone want to be around that, and more importantly support it. We walked out. So many better places with caring pleasant people to go to!

The staff is absolutely wonderful and really made me feel welcome. I had originally gotten my septum done and unfortunately it was crooked but they gave me options on what to do and now I have my dream piercing all fixed and perfect. I trust this place for all my future piercings

The anxiety leading up to the piercing, I’d rate a 10. The actual Medusa piercing pain, I’d rate a 3 😂 Eren was my piercer&she made me super comfortable. Reassured me the entire time & made the whole process basically quick and painless!

I decided to get both nipples pierced on a whim and Almost Famous was great! Karah calmed my nerves once I approached the counter, answered my questions and was very nice. Jenna did the initial piercing with confidence, ease and gave me great instructions for caring for my new piercings at home. Didnt take long at all, either. Thanks for the good experience, ladies!

Every time i’ve been here, i’ve had a good experience. i’ve been coming to almost famous to get my piercings since my first nostril piercing at 14/15 years old, and since then have had at least 10 others done. unfortunately, per my own allergies to metal, my body hasn’t always liked all of my piercings but that never made me upset about spending money to get one done and then needing to take it out and let it heal, even with the titanium jewelry. my last trip, jenna helped give me two new cartilage piercings. even in the middle of a pandemic, she was very lively and made the experience enjoyable. every other piercer i’ve had an experience with has also always made the experience a good one, which helped calm my anxiety about being in a (somewhat) unfamiliar place with unfamiliar people. those who work the counters are always welcoming and kind as well! i really enjoy coming here for new piercings and will definitely be returning for more in the future. and a thank you to the employees still coming to work in the middle of a pandemic; i’m sure they’ve had to deal with some not-so-lovely people who seem less than appreciative of their work, but they’re also at work when being at home would be preferred. i get it, i’m an essential worker myself, but still - a big thank you to them (especially jenna, and i didn’t catch the name of the other person that helped me a week-ish ago, but they changed my name to my new legal name in the system and everything which was beyond kind, so thank you to them too!) for everything they’re doing in the current state of the world! :]

She was not only efficient, professional, quick but she also had a wonderful personality and made me at ease for my nose piercing. THIS PLACE IS AMAZING 100/10. I took my youngest sibling for her first ever ear piercing and they talked her through everything and were so nice. They also had the cutest conversation about how they had the same first name.

I went in to get my industrial done and I have to give Almost Famous kudos for their immaculate facility. They are very thorough with their buisness, especially during Covid, and besides just being clean theyre also very professional.You fill out a questionnaire so they know preferences, allergies, etc. (Which was extremely helpful since I react to nickel)My piercer was Casper and she walked me through the entire process, it was quick and painless, and then she walked me through the aftercare, which was also thorough and helpful.10/10 would recommend. Fast, clean, friendly service.

Never have I ever worked with people so rude. My piercings from here are always slightly off. They do not train like they state they do. Please please do yourself a favor and just go to a tattoo studio. Get pierced professionally. It will be so much nicer. And most likely less expensive. DO NO EVER USE ALMOST FAMOUS’S AFTER CARE SOAP.

At 60 years old, a piercing studio is not where I typically hang out. But I decided to get a second ear piercing so I could consistently wear the beautiful diamond studs my husband gave me. My first--and only other--ear piercing was 47 years ago and done in a doctors office. I started doing a little research on where the best place would be to get a piercing done and was a little intimidated to find that my best bet was a tattoo and piercing shop! And then I remembered I had seen Almost Famous in the mall and decided to check them out. Summer was my piercer and I was amazed at how quick and painless the procedure was. She made me feel comfortable, was very professional and the area was very clean and sterile. She was great at giving me information about the piercing and after care. Will definitely recommend Almost Famous to anyone who wants to get a piercing--including my kids and grandkids.

I will definitely be getting a piercing here! Came with a friend so she could get her ear pierced and her nose. The staff were very friendly and everything was sanitized. As someone who has Vasovagal syncope, talking to them about it was very reassuring that if I went and got my ear pierced I would okay and great. Cant wait to go again!

These piercers are not licensed they also pierced my tounge crooked an caused nerve damage I have heard from many people about how they have messed up there piercings if your going to get a new piercing go to a tattoo shop. The employees are also very rude.

I went there to get my tongue pierced I got it pierced and it started to bleed bad I asked for them to take it out they said no I had to yell at them to take it out from there I drove home to Brainerd and I had to go to the hospital due to them puncturing a blood vessel.

I got my doubles pierced along with 2 cartilage piercings this last Friday, and I am absolutely in love with them! I was pierced in St. Cloud, and my piercer, Casper, was absolutely amazing! Definitely recommend going and definitely recommend Casper as a piercer! The shop was clean, the process was very easy, and on time! Will definitely be going back in the future!

Really nice Staff. Gave me a after care kit which is nice seeing i live 3 hours away and not going back home for a few days. Store was very clean and covid guidelines were nice. There a little pricy but ig if you think about it your only paying maybe $20 more and they do give u that aftercare stuff.

The costumer service was not applaudable. i heard the staff complaining and talking about getting new jobs behind the counter. allison was fast and it felt like i did not have time to breathe, and she made me feel like i was wasting her time. i never want to go back to this business.

This place is a joke. I have never had decent customer service when coming here. They sell you damaged jewelry! Just today I went in to grab a bend to fit nose stud and when I get to my car realize that its the silver, not gold. Ran back in, literally less than 5 minutes after leaving the store and they were not willing to switch it for the one I intended to buy. I will never be shopping here again, should have learned my lesson from my previous experience when I was sold a damaged nose stud.Reply to owner response-Your response to my review clearly shows that your intent is to cover your employees mistake. Actually I am color blind and I can not tell the difference between silver and gold very well. I actually asked the associate that was ringing up the sale why the price was much lower and she did not respond. I could not tell that it was silver until my daughter told me once we got in the car. Also, I would love to hear more about my choice of language youre claiming I used? As for the damaged nose stud I was previously sold at this location, it was actually damaged. I was not shown the piece before purchasing it and it was clearly bent as if already worn then someone tried bending it back. I completely understand that reasoning behind your return policy but when you have employees that act the way the one that rang up my purchase, you should be ashamed.

I went in today to get my conch and daith pierced. I was nervous about the pain, but my piercer was amazing. Summer was my piercer today and she always made she I was okay. She told me step by step what she was doing and made sure I was okay when I felt a little light headed. She turned on the fan for me and gave me water. She was very gentle with the cleaning, and the piercings went pretty well. Summer is awesome, definitely recommend her and almost famous!!

Summer is a fantastic girl All around. I came in to get my nipples pierced and was VERY nervous. Her personality quickly put me at ease and the piercings turned out perfect. She was also very quick, which is great when youre about to be poked. I would HIGHLY recommend going to Summer for all your piercing needs

Ive been here for all my body piercings apart from my ears (except my tragus) and everytime ive gone I have had nothing but wonderful service. Ive been to the MOA location and the St.Cloud location and no matter what service has been good. The staff is friendly and helpful and makes the process a easy thing for people who are nervous. They open everything infront of you to show you that it is in fact steril and they wash their hands, and also wear gloves to ensure that no bacteria will get in the new piercing. I have had 4 piercings done here and everytime has been good. Summer L has done 3 of them and Jenna Z has helped change one, and Emily E did one as well. All of them are very nice and very experienced. 10/10 would recomend

I got a piercing done by Emily W. and she was awesome! I told her that I was prone to feeling dizzy and she made me feel very comfortable throughout the whole process. She went out of her way to make me feel better---for example, she got me water and put a fan on me when I felt dizzy after the piercing.This is my go-to place for gauges/tunnels and piercings!

I had gone to the Almost Famous Body Piercing in St. Cloud and had a horrible experience. They were not very knowledgeable about different piercings and seemed a little sketchy. Once I finally got into the room to get my piercings done, because I went with the bogo deal, I laid on the bed to have my ears pierced. The first one was alright but I started bleeding a lot. She kept bringing up the fact that I was bleeding so much and she made me nervous. I didnt feel it was professional at all. Once it came time to do the second piercing, she went very slow so it was extremely painful. Once she finally got through the skin, she got quiet so I knew something was up. She had done a horrible job and almost pierced my face because she went so deep into the skin of my ear. She then offered to re-pierce it and I said no thank you. She then kept going out of the piercing room to ask the other girl questions on what to do (4 times) and the other girl did not ONCE come in to help fix the problem. The other girl continued to talk to her friend that had come in the store. I was in a lot of pain and they also tried charging me for both piercings. I had a horrible experience and it was extremely unprofessional. I would NOT recommend this place to ANYONE.

Was nervous with turnout originally but jumped the gun on previous bad review (my apologies) it seems one must wait until inflammation subsides before leaving a review 😅. Just got ears stretched and rings replaced with Jenna, very professional and friendly (not to mention cute af) and all staff was helpful and quick to answer questions

Bought nose jewels and the stone fell out of one in the bag before getting home. They are 10 for $12 or so and I understand you get what you pay for, otherwise would have been 5 stars. Service was great!!

I went to get my tongue pierced a couple weeks ago and a young lady helped me out, pierced my tongue, I was very nervous but she was very nice and assured me that it was less painful than when you have bittin your tongue really hard which I have definitely done before and I must say it was not that bad at all. I am very happy I got my tongue piercing and it looks wonderful I think she did a very nice job, I would recommend Almost Famous to anyone

First time there to purchase earrings for my niece and when I got home there was nothing in my bag, I thought I lost them, then 6 weeks later I get a message on FB messenger, saying they got them mixed up with someone elses purchase. They wanted to let me know they still have them. By now I had gotten a different gift for my niece and did not want them. I went to the store to get a refund and they said its been to long ago and would not give a refund. I told them I did not need them. They would not accommodate me. Even though it was their fault in the first place. I am not a ever going back.

I got an industrial piercing today from Allison. It turned out amazing! When I went into almost famous I was concerned it wouldnt be a professional shop but I was completely wrong. Very professional and the workers are amazing! Highly recommend

Six weeks ago, three friends and I went in, as a group, to get piercings done. I had my third set of earrings done, one friend had her nose done, and the other had her belly button done. Since the day they were done, it has been nothing but a battle with infection for all of us on all piercings! I, personally, have ten piercings and have sold body jewely in the past, so I consider myself to be fairly knowledgable in the care of piercings (at the very least, my own) and I find this to be ridiculous. Everyone of my friends, that has also been pierced there, said they have also had issues with infection. I cant pinpoint exactly what is being done wrong here. The rooms were clean and the employees practiced cleanliness, the piercing needles were new. The only other thing I can possibly think is (I didnt get to pick out my own rings) the jewelry they use directly after piercing isnt of the best quality? Over all, the staff was friendly, but seemed inexperienced (the girl took almost a half hour to get the balls in my rings). The price seems like an awesome deal for piercings done with needles instead of guns, but the constant battle with infection isnt worth it. Plus the vegan friendly after care is just rediculous. Glycerine soap is not antibacterial. (On a side note, it does remove maple syrup from carpet)Advice: Spend the extra few bucks and go to a locally owned piercing and tattoo shop instead of a corporately owned, retail store. The quality and satistfaction are worth the higher price.

Got my nose pierced here a week ago for my 18th birthday and everyone was so nice and very professional!! Everything seems to be healing perfectly and i’m so happy! Can’t wait to come back and get the rest of the piercings i want :))

Ive been there with my friends several times, the employees are always so nice and they make sure to keep everything clean. They are excellent at piercings and send you home with good instructions on how to take care of the piercing.

I had 3 pierceings from years back and now wanted more . The piercers were well educated in enforming me of what all to expect they are very prfessional at their jobs . I had them pierced about 4weeks apart giving the first one time to fell good enough for the second one tobe placed. I would recomend them to anyone. So my first piercing was my nose, it turned out fantastic and I was so happy about it. I went back to get my second ear pierced, and a couple days later half the earring that youd see in the front of my ear is gone, my ear looks full of dried blood and infected. Im completely pissed because a person that was NOT certified did my piercing. I was NOT part of her workshop, so why did she do it on me? Im beyond pissed and will never come here again. I hope when I call tomorrow, they can solve my issue because I paid a lot of money for this peircing to have it disappear within less then a few days. For people wanting to go here never go when someone is trying to get there body count in to be certified and do research and go somewhere else. Very unpleased.

This place is fast and professional. They dont offer the most amazing selection of body/facial jewelry in my opinion but they have some of everything if you need replacement jewelry. The piercing service is top notch, great place to go get pierced .

Got my septum done here. It was clean and everyone was nice and knowledgeable. Ive been to both the Almost Famous places in Fargo and St. Cloud and they both are very good. I would recommend this place to anyone getting pierced over the others in the area.

Bought a couple of nose studs there. Told the clerk what style and stones I wanted. My fault for not checking the jewelry before I left because instead of a L shape one of the studs is a j that will not go through my nose at all. Would be nice if sales people would show you what you got before ringing it up. Now Im stuck with an unwearable $10 piece of jewelry.

I went in to get my nose pierced. Everything was fine as far as the piercing goes, BUT my nose got horribly infected. Ive had multiple piercings in the passed and they have never gotten infected like this. I had to take antibiotics to get rid of the infection, because basic care wasnt working. After the infection cleared up, it got infected AGAIN. Their jewelry quality is poor, and I believe that is problem.It may be more expensive, but the service and jewelry quality you will get from a locally owned and operated shop is going to be better than this place.

To say the least, I wasnt impressed with the service. I stood there while four people sat and talked. Then, to find out they had no piercer, which was fine. I went to the professionals instead.

Staff dressed super cute for Halloween. Price for nose piercings I thought were high. It was over $140 with the B1G1 free plus jewelry. It took me by surprise.

I went in to get my nipples pierced and I have never felt more comfortable and reassured that the piercer knew what they were doing Allison was great to work with and she was so efficient it put the pain on a back burner.

I wish there was a 0 stars choice. Customer service and overall experience were a b s o l u t e l y TERRIBLE. I got my navel pierced here 4 weeks ago. I paid $30 for the ring alone and Ive had problems with it since then. The ball always would fall off and it was really just a cheapy, low quality piece of jewelry that was way over priced. The ball fell off at some point today and I lost it. When I was in the shower, I washed my piercing (remember only the bottom half of the piercing was left). It slipped out and fell so I was trying to put it back in and the piercing was bleeding and causing me lots of pain, I couldnt get it back in and eventually it slipped out of my hands and slid down the drain. I came back to Almost Famous with my receipt, hoping they would at least try to help. The customer service was terrible and they said all I can do is let it close and come back in, buy more jewelry, and pay to have it re pierced. I told her I already payed once and bought jewelry and I would like a refund, and all they kept saying is we cant do anything about it once you leave the store. We dont know what comes in contact with the jewelry after that im sure thats what they tell everyone. There are three reasons I wouldnt go back in to Almost Famous to re Pierce it. : 1) I am a keloid scarer, so if I let it close and get it repierced, it would be even more painful then the first time, and I would have an awful scar. 2) their jewelry is obviously very low quality and I wouldnt waste my money if there was a risk of that happening again, and 3) the person at the front desk treated me so awfully and was so rude and didnt even try helping, I would never spend any amount of money there again. Im a 16 year old girl with a bleeding belly button crying in the mall, so thanks almost famous! I have at least 5 friends who want navel or nose piercings, and I am definitely warning them about my experience. Im going to Old Town and I suggest if anyone is looking into any piercings, they do as well. :)

Leaving this review on behalf of my friend who didn’t want to share her info . Almost famous body piercings horrible experience. It took 30 minutes for the HEAD piercer to mark it only for her to pierce it crooked in uneven. Sounds like she should have taken longer and taken her job serious! The aftercare they give you is outdated sea salt soaks are awful for new piercings (yes let’s soak our fresh piercing In dirty water that sits on the skin an a fresh piercing) you should be giving a form of sterile saline to clean with not sea salt and soap When no soap glycerin soap Included should be Used on a fresh wound. Tea tree does not solve your problem only masks it but They tell people it will help with an irritation bump in drying it out instead of trying to establish the problem. they use cheap jewelry externally threaded jewelry shreds the piercing track nooo good ! Cheap jewelry leads to irritation in the piercing which can cause more drainage, damage to the piercing Track and irritation bumps) Tea tree does not fix this it masks it causing it to be potentially worse when you stop using the harsh tea tree they suggest . She also heard them over talking about the customers and caught the nice piece of info that none of the workers in the entire store like kids ! Yet it’s suppose to be kid friendly For ear piercings and such. This is definitely not a place I would Never recommend any one to go to based on the simple facts cheap jewelry out dated aftercare (sea salt soaks and glycerin soap )the fact they will suggest tea tree For irritation bumps the fact they are not professional a professional doesn’t talk smack about customers and they sure wouldn’t allow there customer base to over hear that they infact do not like children at all in this store. Talk about uncomfortable how would you even know they would do a good job they want that kid out of the store so I doubt the really pay attention to what they are doing when they pierce children .

I will never come back here. I had to wait an hour, no one was in either room and they weren’t busy at all. Whatever, no big deal. They said they “send us home with soap and salt.” That generally means its free. I guess they’re “liable” to sell it to us. I asked them to reword it then and the lady with the shaved sides of the head and hair in the middle with a pony tail said that it “it says that right there.” Ridiculously RUDE. Maybe say” “we’re obligated to sel this to you” or raise the cost of piercings to make up what they sell it for. I like my piercings so far, but I just got them today sooooo. The piercer was nice, not the other lady.

Nose stud feel out brought it in after maybe 2 hours of being out and the lady acted liked she couldn’t get it back in, said now I have to let it heal and come and get it repierced. Lol 5 days I had it done and paid 77$ now they want more money instead helping me what a jipp!! What makes it worse she almost at the tapering needle threw but said she not allowed to push it in because it’s considered a repierce.

Didnt see soap or alcohol being used when cleaning piercing equipment in the sink. spent an hour there because the piercer used the wrong sized piercing and spent the entire hour trying to shove a different piercing in, even suggested re-piercing in the same place (which can be more damaging and increase risk of infection. piercing swelled 3 times the normal amount. overall bad practice

I have spent $1000+ here on piercings and jewelry. If that doesn’t speak for itself, they’re very clean, professional, and friendly. The selection is good, and so is the quality of what you’re getting. Highly recommend!

Brought my wife in yesterday evening for a tongue piercing I was expecting a long wait and a quick hurry out the door but Jenna was very professional and took good care of us it was a quick experience only as long as it took to fill out paperwork and pick jewlery she explained step by step what was going to happen made sure we liked the placement of the piercing before hand and everything was very clean a ordered not like some tattoo studios I have Seen it was very medical we ended up leaving with a tongue and nose done thanks the awesome 2 for 1 special and they gave us a very nice aftercare kit with all the things we needed cant recommend enough when my daughter is ready to get something done Ill be backgreat job ladies from a happy husband

Havel people done ur research? The staff has been wonderful. When u puncture ur body parts they swell. As the swelling goes done skin can settle how it wants. Its a foreign object ur body fights and rejects. Gets infected etc. I have many piercings there. My body rejects them. Its not how the piercer does it. Its ur body how it likes the object or not. I have 6 dermal that rejected and they need to go deep and tight which they did. Still rejected. I bleed a lot they dont say anything.

Despite what some people think this place is actually really good to get piercings at. Have had all good experiences here and is the easiest for walk ins. Can be a bit pricey for their cheapish jewelry.

Got my tongue pierced here about a month and a half ago, had to take it out due to it being extremely crooked and numb. Went to the doctor to find out I have nerve damage due to the piercing being shoved thru my tongue at an extremely crooked angle. So now I’m out 80 bucks not including the tip I gave & they won’t give me a refund. All they will do for me is repierce my tongue which I don’t want since there’s a good chance my tongue will be numb for the rest of my life. Don’t go here.

I walked into the store asking for my nose to be peirced, and the lady had asked for my idea and my mothers since I was under the age of 18, understandale. Now the lady asked for my birth certificate since my last name is different from my mothers. Now at this point it was a little stupid. We asked why and she rudely replied with its state law. That was it nothing more nothing else. So then we asked again why. She just said its state law proving that my mother is my mother. after we talk a little more my mother asked can I email it to you or something and the other lady said we can only fax things whitch my mother replied with me saying thats fine. Fast forward a little they turn us down basically because we did not have the birth certificate even though we came the concliconc that we can faxs. We even called ahead of time to make sure we didnt have to drive back home witch is a good hour away.

I always feel like Im a pain to them when I come in. Those are the vibes I get. Theres one girl I really like i think her name is Kayla? Otherwise I always feel like Im a pain to them. I do try and tip well to the person whos working with me.

Everything was extremely quick making it really an almost uncomfortable experience. It was clean but the piercer was rambling from a memorized script which if you interrupted for a question she looked extremely annoyed.

I had my second dermal placed a month ago by almost famous and it hurts like crazy constantly pussing swollen wont completely heal up very disappointed ... first one I had done by modified tattoo and piercing and its doing great... shouldve learned the first time when they screwed up my navel piercing that still looks disgusting would not recommend going here

Very fast to get in, and she was very careful to watch that it matched the other lip piercing placement. Overall, its a great place to get pierced.

Called ahead as we were told to do being we live an hour away. Lady told us there were plenty of openings and when we got there we are told they had nothing left. The company really needs to change their policy on setting up appointments over the phone!!

I highly recommend Almost Famous! They are incredibly friendly and take their time to answer questions, explain the procedure and what to do at home.Very impressed!

I had my first cartilage piercing done here, and it was Casper who did it. They walked me through the entire process making sure I was comfortable the entire time.

I talked with someone over the phone and it almost sounded like the person didn’t even care. The person was answering my questions with attitude and stuff. I’ll sfill give it 4 stars but I’m going to get my nose pierced there soon.

I got two piercings done by Allison and she did an excellent job. Clean store and friendly staff.

They require a birth certificate for an 11 year old girl to have her ears pierced, with me, her mom, by her side. I had my ID, and my daughters passport with me. You know, the passport, which is issued with a birth certificate and both mom and dad present? And this place wouldnt accept it. We had driven an hour to get this done, and I was frustrated.

It was super easy and the service was amazing!!! I was pierced by Katelyn and she was great! Best piercings by far!

Tried to go in the store today and wanted me to pay for a mask or walk to another store to get a mask. They had exactly what I needed to buy but was rudely stopped so I will not be returning and will be buying my jewelry somewhere else

They dont know what the hell they are doing and vary cheap Jewelry. Every time I go in there I know someones gone and there I gets jewelry their ears get severely infected and its junk it just wears out so fast.

Annoyed is the word. I went in to purchase and change out a helix ring. the selection was poor, and before i even got home the ball on my ring fell off, and got lost. 17 dollars wasted. should have never went in

Great place the only thing that is difficult is it says Walk ins only but when you walk in half the time they are booked for the whole day and you drove all that way for nothing then have to do it again the next day. Or you get you appointment when you walk in and its in 3 hrs.

Got my lobes and my industrial pierced here and never had any problems!

Allison was great. She was knowledgeable and very happy and positive. I would absolutely recommend her.

Lol the girl with the blue hair said they didn’t accept tribal IDs even though they are a valid ID. i would not waste your time here if you’re a person of color.

Got my vertical labert done a week ago or so and she totally messed it up 2nd time she has done this to me !

They dont replace anything even if u bought it less than a week ago earing designs are stupid they will fall out and all ur doing is wasting money

They are really slow with the piercings and check out we got here at 12:35 and did not get in tell 1:35 so we waited for 1hour tell we got are piercings done
