My artist was A. One. He was awesome. He was down to earth and easy to chat with while he did my tattoo. I love my new tattoo. Aftercare instructions were clear. After moving to the area I had yet to find a new shop and artist. Ive found my new tattoo home. A.One is definitely worth checking out for your next ink. Drove almost an hour for this tattoo and would do it again for future tattoos.

Super clean + open facility with super kind staff. I loved the relaxed environment and open spaces with different privacy curtains in different areas. They also allow you to put whatever on the TV while you’re getting a tattoo which is awesome + makes the experience a lot better. They’re so nice and relaxed. Honestly the best tattoo place I’ve probably ever been to. My artist, McKenna was also so kind and careful and did an amazing job.

My experience here was amazing start to finish! I was greeted and hooked up with my artist A-ONE quickly and professionally. A-ONE did an excellent job of asking me questions and getting my tattoo elevated to where it needed to be. He had an odd canvas and exceeded my expectations giving me my confidence back!

My tattoo artist was Nyah and they did two pieces, one on my outside lateral forearm and one on my inside forearm. They did a good job on the artwork as well as communicating placement, ideal colors, and design ideas well before I made the final tattoo date so I had time to think everything over. They did a good job of making sure the tattoo conformed with my body and looks good as it ages. Overall was a great experience.

Jeremy is my guy!!! His work is top notch!!! Daily I receive compliments on my tattoos!!! His eye for details and his skillful hands create beautiful work!!! Jeremy’s station is clean and his humor adds to the overall experience!!! He will create a personal piece or reproduce anything you want. You can’t go wrong with Jeremy!!! He has worked on my daughter, my husband and myself. He is in the process of creating an original piece for me and I can’t wait!!!

Came in at 8pm on a Friday and was able to get a walk-in. Super clean and cozy shop with great vibes. Me and my sister got matching tattoos by Jeremy and they turned out great !! It’s a simple design, but the line work is very neat and the tattoo has healed perfectly so far. These are photos of the tattoo fresh and after a few weeks !

Honestly one of the greatest tattoo experiences I’ve ever had. Superrrr clean, veryyy respectful staff, very friendly and chill environment. I will definitely be coming back. It was very affordable with great designs and artists who are excited to tattoo and work with existing pieces.

Wanting a wicked tattoo, how bout some piercings? Wicked ways is the best, bar non. Been getting things done here for years. Recently brought my youngest in for her first tattoo. Got hooked up with A-One and we were off. Dude has impeccable skill, super light hand and is lightning fast with it. A - One, you did the damn thing!!! My daughter is loving it. A huge thank you to all the staff really, y’all are super cool and make the environment really comfortable. I don’t really review that often but this place always comes thru time and time again. I recently had the pleasure of working with Jeremy. From start to finish, the entire experience was professional, comfortable, and creative. Jeremy took the time to listen to my ideas and really understand the vision I had for my tattoo. His creativity really brought the piece to life.

I went in to get two piercings, a helix and a conch. Everyone was nice and welcoming! The piercer, Kara, was super nice and did a wonderful job doing the piercing and explaining the after care. If you’re looking for a piercer, I would recommend Kara! 💙

This shop is amazing! The talented and friendly A-1 and McKenna worked on my tattoos today. A-1 completed my rose & lines on my hand & fingers and McKenna finished my unalome on my inner arm - both in record time. I saw McKenna’s work through the instagram page and reached out to her with an idea and she crushed it! Met with her once to talk about my idea and she took my idea, drew it up and tattooed it for me. She is very nice and easy to work with. She did fantastic! Highly recommend!

My artist was McKenna. She sketched and tattooed a phenomenal portrait of my late cat. It was a spectacular tribute to his memory. I could not recommend her as an artist and this parlour more than enough.

Really relaxing and friendly environment, accepted 4 walk ins in on a Monday afternoon and they really make sure you’re comfortable while waiting and everything. Mckenna was super friendly and helpful with stencil placements and A-one did my actual tattoo- both were really great and friendly and I will definitely be coming back!

Went in today with my wife to get a spontaneous tattoo together. We were greeted as soon as we walked into the shop and helped shortly there after. Our tattoo artist was Danielle. She was awesome, very professional and easy to talk to and communicate about what we were looking for and wanting. She drew up a couple awesome designs for what we wanted didn’t take long at all. Once we got into the chair everything went great! We even talked out buddy mando into getting his first tattoo with her while we were there. We will definitely be back to see Danielle and all the friendly artists at wicked ways!! 10/10 would recommend!!!

Service was excellent from the moment we walked in. We initially went in for piercings but were told they don’t do offer that service at this location. I then asked if they take walk-ins for tattoos. They hooked me up with artist A.One on a simple lyric piece on my arm. He was attentive to my needs, and kept me distracted with good conversation.

I would highly recommend Wicked Ways and A-One specifically! Great shop, chill environment, and A-One is legit, he was super cool to work with. I came into the shop with very specific ideas in my mind that I was articulating very poorly to A-One. I really didn’t give him much to work with in regards to the ideas I had. I had basic themes, but not the actual images. He was chill and hung back as I figured out how to describe what I wanted. Finally, after a couple weeks I had a design. From there, A-One took off to the races. Killer lines, perfect color and shading and just an overall cool and laidback chat session while he was working. I would highly recommend Wicked Ways and A-One specifically!

Came in on a whim for my girlfriends 40th birthday. There were 5 in our group getting tattoos. Aone was amazing, patient, and very light handed. He put his own artistic flair on my tattoo adding shading in all the right places. I would HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND this location and Aone as a tattoo artist.

Norm gave me a Celtic Armband and I LOVE IT! I searched high and low for an artist with a steady hand and a nice shop- I found both! Norm measured and discussed options, embraced my design, and Chris helped design it. I LOVED THE RESULT!I’m fact, I was so happy with my experience I brought daughter to get her ears pierced. I can’t recommend Wicked Ways enough.

Id been wanting a tattoo for the longest time but my fear of needles always stopped me. I finally got the courage just to walk-in and get it done. Went in on a Saturday and talked to Ruben who took down info and idea of what I wanted. They were already booked so Ruben offered to open up the shop on Sunday for myself and a friend. Super awesome experience with Ruben! This was my first tattoo and I was hooked at the first buzz of the needle! Ruben is super nice and patient- it was like hanging out with an old friend. Every one here is so welcoming and kind. Ruben took the time to find the right size, color, design, etc of everything we wanted. This is a big deal for someone like me whos not adventurous at all. For those of you who are newbies - this is a great place. Mine cost $50 and is totally worth it! There are TVs, bathrooms, food trucks for the wait time too...

Danae did absolutely amazing, I gave her reference pictures and she made it her own which I of course appreciate, usually when I get a tattoo anywhere else I send a reference picture but they make it exactly like the picture in every way but Danae was able to add anything I asked for and modified it to be original. She made sure I was comfortable and asked if I needed breaks, she’s very good with communicating and you can tell she’s there because she enjoy what she does. 10/10 just straight up a good time

The environment is great and I was helped as soon as I walked in. I came in not knowing what design I wanted and Low helped me right away. As soon as we got the design, we got started. He made me feel very comfortable for my first tattoo and even showed me the new packaged needle he was going to be using. He answered any questions and concerns that I had. All in all, great experience, will be coming again for my next tattoo

Kara was absolutely the best piercer. She did bilateral lobes and a diathe. She has the best knowledge on what style and size to get because (i didnt know) some sizes are better for healing. She gave me a ton of options for my next piercing because obviously going back! Im on my 5th day of healing, no pain, no redness, no swelling because she gave straight forward care instructions and what to look out for!

Went here last week to get a custom piece from Logan on my forearm and he absolutely delivered. He took all of my ideas and made an awesome piece. He seemed super excited to do it and I gave him free reign to put his own creativity into it. I’ve been here before for a septum piercing and that too was an excellent experience and was what brought me back to get a tattoo in the first place. This is one of the cleanest tattoo shops I’ve been too and both the piercer and Logan seemed knowledgeable, and were very sterile with the whole process. This is the first time I’ve had Saniderm for my healing process and It made the healing so easy and maintenance free. Everyone was excellent here customer service wise and gave honest pricing, working with the budget I brought to him. You can tell they have a lot of pride with their establishment and they should. I will 100% be back again for another piece.

I got three piercings tonight - a daith & 2 helix, all in the same ear. This was my first experience with needle piercing, & Kara was fantastic! She was super friendly & the whole process went very smoothly. Kara kept the atmosphere light while still being very professional. The shop is clean & I felt in safe hands. Walked in on Saturday to get a tattoo and Eddie hooked my wife and I up for cheap! We both got a tattoo done that evening and he was fast, talented, and very professional. I will be returning in the future if I want anymore work done. Also, this location is very clean and accommodating with a nice atmosphere.

Before coming to this shop, it was difficult to find a piercer who was passionate about their work and meticulous with piercing like Kara! I have been coming to this location for about a year now and Kara is always very professional she has pierced my septum, conch, tragus, and my 3rd lobe piercing on each ear! I have reccomended her to any friends I know that are interested in getting a piercing. It is a enjoyable experience getting pierced by Kara, the piercing is always extremely QUICK!!! Quicker than you can imagine everything there is always clean and sterile and each piercing i have is healed. I would 100% recommend going to Kara if you are interested in getting a piercing

I came here to get my first tattoo ever, my first time here was great, Sandy did my tattoo and she did amazing and was super kind and welcoming and gave me a good sized piece at a reasonable price. My second time here some bald, Latino guy did my tattoo (I forgot his name, but it wasnt Norm or anyone posted on the site) but he was really pushy and acted like doing his job was a chore and for a very simple piece he wouldnt go less than $150 , and Ive gotten better for $60. He was also really weird with the girl at the front , making flirtatious advances that made her clearly uncomfortable as well as me. If it werent for Sandy , I wouldnt have considered this place again. For context, Sandy did the Ganesha tattoo for $200 and the other guy wouldnt go below $150 for the sigil tattoo.

Went in to get a small matching tattoo with my little sister as a walk in. We were helped immediately and everyone there was very nice. Jester did an AWESOME job with our mini tattoos. He was quick and the lines are perfect and he was great with my sister as it was her first tattoo. I’ll be going back to him for sure.

Tonee just finished my first tattoo and it came out amazing. The shading is beautiful and lines look perfect. It came out exactly how i wanted it and better. Atmosphere was comfortable and overall had an awesome experience. Would definitely recommend Tonee. 10/10

I had a walk in with Karalena a couple weeks ago due to my tragus piercing being very swollen and having a large piercing bump (the piercing was done by another shop). She was super awesome, helped me change my jewelry, and was very informative. A couple weeks later and the piercing looks perfect. 10/10 would recommend getting a piercing from her and will be back in the future!!

Such a great place! I’ve gotten all of my tattoos here and never had any issue. I recently went again last week and was immediately greeted and saw an artist in less than 5 minutes for a consultation. @BeeJayTattoo did an awesome job working with me and what I wanted as far as a simplistic and dainty style for the four tattoos I got. I went to Wicked Ways because I heard good things about the place from a friend of mine. I have prior tattoos but I had yet to get one in San Antonio so I went to check it out. I met Eddie, who is an amazingly cool guy and fantastic artist. He worked with my budget and gave me a tattoo that I wanted that I think looks cool as hell. Im a geek/gamer so I got the Energy tank from Mega Man 2 and I love it.I suggest everyone go to Wicked Ways and ask for Eddie. The guy works miracles and I will be sure to go back for more tattoos from him in the future. :)

When I first walked in I was greeted instantly, and within minutes was kindly introduced to Tonee. I wasnt too sure of the practicality of my idea and its position, but within a brief free consultation, he began to sketch out the design and made my idea come to life. Then, I scheduled my appointment. On the day of, Tonee had already prepared a more pratical design and was ready to go. The tattoo turned out better than I expected. From start to finish, I was treated with respect, and will definitely return when ready. While there I observed the other staff and artists working together as a team. Im confident that no matter which artist you choose from this place, youll be extremely satisfied. In sum, they will work with your price range, are always willing to go the extra mile to make sure youre happy, and most importantly, CLEAN.p.s. dont forget to bring your physical ID to your actual appointment, you cant begin without it.

I had booked an appointment one week before and today, december 5 (Tuesday) I got there and the guy I had the appointment with wasnt there, he had been in an accident past weekend. I wasnt informed about that, which I think was very bad due to the fact that the artist himself said when I booked my appointment that I had to call in one day before if I changed my mind. So, to give some feedback, you should notice your clients in advance. BUT I got my tattoo anyway, the guys at the studio helped me so I had to explain my idea to someone else and in the beginning I got a very bad feeling about this guy that he thought I was really difficul etc but in the end when he started with the tattoo everything got better and I was really happy and satisfied with the result.

I had the best experience getting my nipples pierced with karalena. She was so informative and knowledgeable about the aftercare for my piercing. Definitely will be back for more piercings. Gonna recommend her to everyone I know who wants piercings done

Went yesterday and got tattooed for my birthday. It was my 1st time at the Babcock location. Guess what people same results as all the other times at the other shop at stone oak. Norm has so how found all the badass artist in town and has them at both locations.The staff here is so friendly and helpful. You feel very at ease when you walk in. The hospitality and comrodery of tattoos sets this shop apart from any other shop Ive been too.I found a new and talented young artist here at this location. David Lamb is his name and tattooing is his passion. I am very glad that I met him cause his work speaks for itself. David is a very down to earth guy and open to ideas on any piece he might be working on for you. He takes your ideas and his and collaborates with you to create beautiful work. I cant stress enough, dont go here. I came into wicked ways based on good reviews and now Ive already started laser to erase this mistake.I went to the Stone oak location for my first tattoos. I got 2 at the same time, the Bishock three link chain on my wrist and a triskelion, as used in Hellblade: Senuas sacrifice which I asked to look as though it were painted on. Because of the detail in the triskelion, both together came to 400 dollars. I thought this was pricey but I still went for it since I thought this was a top of the line tattoo parlor.Little did I know that what I was going to get was bottom of the barrel work. Danny was my artist on his profile it says he specializes in simple line work to full color realism. As you can see from my photos, his lines are terrible, each link of that tattoo are completely different, which is not how the photos I showed him looked. Since they are all SO very different I have no choice but to remove it and do it over. Fixing it would have turned this into a blob now and even worse as it aged.The triskelion isnt a circle in its place, an oval at best, and not a painted look as much as a stamp. I specifically asked for advice on where to put a circle and the most I got from Danny was youll like it anywhere because itll be yours. As it turned out, this wasnt true at all. I came in to show it to start the formal complaint and the first thing their piercer said was circles look bad everywhere. I was also told to compare prices from at least 5 other shops and this is when I found that 280 dollars on average was what other reputable shops would charged and also when other artists all laughed at how terrible and expensive these are.When I came to the owner about my complaints, I advised him I was non-confrontational because I have a very bad anxiety disorder and I just wanted to talk through our options as both these tattoos have been made fun of by my friends, and every other tattoo shop in town. At first Norm agreed with me, that the chain needed to be removed and that he himself would personally draw up a fix for the triskelion, he would take the weekend to draw it.A week passed and I asked for the drawings so I could review to see if it could be fixed. I got a thanks for the reminder text and then nothing. A month passed and I sent another reminder, with no response from Norm. I first talked to norm in April, by June I asked that maybe we look at a refund so that I could start on laser treatments. Norm said hed talk to his partners about it, but that I should go with their removal system called tatt2away. I looked into this system and from everything I could see this system leaves raised scars in a circular pattern and thats what the portfolio for their removal specialist shows as of this posting.I still hear nothing back from Norm and tell him Im in the area, ready to sign whatever paperwork they need for the refund, and I get a barrage of rude texts in which he threw my anxiety issue back in my face, took back his decision to remove the tattoo and only offered touch ups, of which I still have yet to see that artwork! This was the last response of his on July 19th: There seems to be, since the beginning, no reasonable expectations here. Your tattoos require a touch up and adjustment. Nothing more. At the time we spoke I was trying to be understanding and sensitive to you as a client and your anxiety issues. As I have said now, after further thought, those anxieties and your failure to understand the process of tattooing are unreasonable. However we are still here and available to take care of your touchup session for your tattoos.Again, dont go here, the prices are terrible, the work is awful, and there is no such thing as service for something that on your body permanently. Itll be a year until my laser is complete but its worth it to me to laser these off and get them done right.

A-one is by far the best tattoo artist I’ve encountered (to me that means a lot because I have a lot of tattoos). He’s very professional, experienced, and affordable. Just got my first tattoo done by Danae!!She was super sweet and very open and flexible with ideas and input and really does her best to give you a great quality tattoo that will last!During the appointment she was very patient with me trying to figure out placement and conversation was super easy going and fun. Definitely over priced on tattoos. I can see why they have a no refund policy because they over charge you heavily. Got a small tattoo behind my ear and it was a C with a cross and she quoted me $200 dollars at first but brought it down to $150. The stencil was perfect so I didn’t mind paying but when she was finished it wasn’t what I wanted at all. My C looks like a G connected into the cross which isn’t what I asked for. She tried to fix it but honestly it still looks the exact same just a little bit bigger. Now I’m in the process of looking for an artist for a cover up. Wouldn’t recommend for small tattoos.

Made an appointment more than a month in advance. Artist canceled on me as soon as I walked in the door, ready for my appointment. Reason that he gave me was that there were disputes between artist and owner in regard to how the artist priced his work. As a customer, a few things crossed my mind. For starters, disputes in admin were not my concern and should not affect me. Secondly, if they were going to cancel on me. Why wait until the day of my appointment. Why not call me before hand to either renegotiate or give me time to look elsewhere.Overall, Wicked ways made a horrible impression on me. I will never recommend them and actively tell ppl to go elsewhere. Twisted Tattoos for example. Now they had amazing customer service.

I did some research online and came across Wicked Ways on Babcock I originally just went in to get my nose pierced by Kara and she was super sweet. I asked if there were any tattoo artist available and they did a consult right there on the spot. Beejay was very nice and made sure to listen and incorporate that into his custom drawing. I liked it so much I asked him if he had time now and boom we got it done. Beejay made it a point to make sure I was comfortable and communicated the entire way on what step he was at and what he was doing which helped me overall. I already have another tattoo in mind of getting so I’ll be visiting him again soon. HIGHHHHHHLY recommend Wicked Ways on Babcock!!

A big group of us went to wicked tattoo’s (5-6 of us) for piercing- they were able to help all of us right away! Karalena took her time with each one of us, went through all the instructions and was not rushed at all. I got a cartilage ear piercing with a stacked gem.I loved my gem, but unfortunately it fell out on its own 2 months later. I contacted Karalena and she told me “dont worry. Come see me tomorrow, I can replace it for freeeeee”She is a gem! I went back, she had to repierce it and replaced the gem (with a smaller one). Great service- highly recommend

I went in with my idea and he created the most perfect design for me. Its exactly what I wanted!! The man who did mine and my family’s tattoos was rushing and couldn’t comprehend the simple instructions we asked. The tattoos were uneven and not what we asked for at all. He even seemed annoyed after putting my stencil on and I told him it was in the wrong spot. On my family he didn’t even let them see the stencil on before starting the tattoo. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Definitely look elsewhere

Danae absolutely killed it on my tattoo! I wanted a portrait outline of my sons face, and I was a little hesitant that it wasn’t going to end up looking like him since it is just line work, but as soon as I saw her drawing I was blown away at how good of a job she did on it. She even made her own touches on it, which made a huge difference. Danae was very nice and easy to talk to, great experience with her and am planning on doing a lot more work with her in the future!

After spending weeks looking at over 40 shops in the San Antonio area we decided to go to Wicked Ways. Our experience was great from the moment we walked in. The entire shop is extremely clean and everyone there was very friendly. We were immediately greeted and given a consult with Gil. We showed him an idea we had for a tattoo and he showed us different ways he could add color to the tattoo and make it even better. He made the entire session comfortable and over all great. You can tell that he is very experienced and passionate about his work and his clients, he does everything he can to make the customer happy and work with them to give them to give the best experience he can. He went above and beyond to work with us and offer the best he had. We will definitely be coming back to him for more work, overall Gil is a great guy and Wicked ways is a great shop!

I had a rib/side breast tattoo done by Eddie and I couldn’t be happier with the tattoo and the overall experience! He was a quick and very light handed and the tattoo was a lot less painful than I expected because of him! He was very nice and great at conversation during the process. I highly recommend!

Came to this shop from good reviews on google, the shop was clean and we were greeted and helped right away, came in feeling confident about the piece I wanted a dainty small neck tattoo and within 10 mins of speaking to our artist Dom and his reasonings and lecture on why “melanated skin” doesn’t hold ink well, stating how the owner doesn’t do neck tattoos because of how “difficult” they are to do, you wouldn’t be able to see the letters because eventually they’ll shrink .. at that point I no longer wanted my tattoo. I never experienced a tattoo artist scaring a customer to the point they second guess themselves. I showed him my other ideas and placements all within 3inches or so in measurement and each time was just a negative feedback of what could happen and how basically a person of fair skin would show better than melanated skin.. I have several tattoos and have never experienced an artist who made me uncomfortable when in reality I think that the artist simply doesn’t typically do small or dainty tattoos.. and should have been honest about that from the start but I decided to just build the courage and get the neck tattoo that literally took 2 mins with 5 letters . prior to me showing him the original image of what I wanted he drew a much bigger piece that was two to three sizes bigger than what I showed him. The artist even stated he originally knew what I wanted when I asked him to go smaller in size. So in my mind I’m thinking why did you even draw up this huge piece that I didn’t ask for ? it was way overpriced and I don’t see myself coming back to this shop. Price wasn’t even the issue because I understand tattooing is a way of living for some it was more so the negative feedback and projection that just didn’t sit right with me, customer etiquette should be reinforced. The goal is educate the customer but not to put fear into them.. it takes courage already to get into the chair.

Best tattoo shop in San Antonio. Norm is not only an amazing artist but a gifted professional. Runs a clean, comfortable shop. Everyone is at ease there. My tattoo is truly stunning. I couldnt have asked for more. They get really busy on the weekend so book your appointment ahead. Norm worked with me on the artistic aspects of my tattoo and it was within my budget. I will definitely go back and recommend Wicked Ways to my friends.

I absolutely LOVE my tattoo. I walked in and waited maybe 15 minutes before I spoke with Tonee about the tattoo I wanted. He was able to squeeze me in and make my tattoo come to life. After he finished and showed me I cried. The piece I got is super sentimental to me and has a lot of background behind it. He exceeded my expectations and made it more than I could ever ask for. I love this shop and would recommend it to anyone! I have had 2 other tattoos done by artists here and have been pleased with both and I have friends who have also come and have loved their pieces as well!

Dalton did my tattoo about 4 months ago, so it has had a lot of time to heal. He did amazing, and he made the process very painless. Since it has been a while I can say that my tattoo has not done any bleeding, it has stayed exactly how it was when I first got it done. About the artist himself, he is such a down to earth person, cares about your tattoo and the placement and also works within your price range. If you’re looking for a tattoo I totally recommend him all the way!!!

He really took the time to make sure that we were getting exactly what we wanted and executed our vision exactly! This was both of our first ever tattoo and he made it seamless and easy. Made an appointment, waited an hour since our artist was taking longer with his previous appointment before another artist took us instead. My sisters and I got very simple matching heart tattoos and the work was not very good. The lines are uneven, thick in some places and thin in others, and some of the hearts didnt come out very symmetrical either. Maybe because they are so simple it is easier to see the flaws. The artists were nice-ish though which is the best I can say.
