I had an amazing experience at Pleasant Dreams Tattoo. I will definitely be going back. Mike was fantastic - he took the time to listen to what I wanted, I showed him a picture, and he immediately started sketching it out. It only took him 30 minutes to complete the sketch, and then I was in the chair within 15 more minutes. Mike was considerate of the pain and checked in with me to see if I wanted to continue. I highly recommend this place to anyone. Plus, Big is also a friend, so its a no-brainer for me.

What an amazing experience from the very beginning to the very end I love the dog mascot amythst. Mike worked with me and I got my wedding ring tattoo and a frog for my wife. Best tattoo place in San antonio

I really enjoyed my experience here. BIG did my cover up tattoo and it was exactly what I wanted! He took his time and made the previous tattoo look invisible . Very welcoming staff and vibe of the entire shop overall. Will definitely be back!

Came to Pleasant Dreams for a tattoo after multiple recommendations , I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else. Richard is a phenomenal artist and my idea become reality. All of the other artists are talented, and create a very welcoming environment . No matter what style your looking for, pleasant dreams gots you covered!

The name says it all. The whole staff were super friendly. Bean was my artist and they were awesome! They were detailed oriented, clean, and focused on customer satisfaction. All in all. I will go to Bean for another tattoo.

I recently had an amazing experience at Pleasant Dreams Tattoo. The vibes were great, staff were extremely friendly, and the place was spotless. “Big” took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and made sure I was happy before starting. Made me feel right at home! The customer service here is impeccable and the energy at the shop was all time. Couldnt be happier with the outcome!

I am so pleased with my tattoo after just the first session! BIG and the other artists in the shop are extremely friendly and attentive to the clients’ needs. The shop is clean and sanitary and I cannot wait to go back and have my piece finished!

I always see their big sign at 410 and 281. Needed some things added to an existing tattoo. Mike helped me out and helped me also see how faded the tattoo had gotten in 1.5 years. So what is a guy to do, but go back the next day and have him rework it for me. But even with that, the skill and knowledge from 20+ years Mike was able to make this look better than the original pin-up back in 1942. I have gotten awesome feedback from my friends seeing it. I’m working on some pictures for Mike to look at and make up a new piece for me. Please check them out.

My sister and I went 02/28/24 for a HANDFUL of tattoos (my shoulder was not done by them). I made an appointment with Mike in advance and was seen on time in a fast courteous manner. The tattoos were my sisters first and she loved it. Amazing artist skills and personality from all of the crew at this shop. We will definitely be back for ALL our future work. Rock on Mike!

Stopped in to BP for their $40 special on a whim and were amazed at the level of detail on a small piece. Trust me, we were skeptical of the price but figured it was worth a try. It definitely was and more. We will definitely be back.

Went in for a last minute tattoo while I’m in town for the animal care expo. Highly pleased! Great prices and Rede was AMAZING! Tattoo turned out great. I would recommend them to anyone!

Absolutely love this tattoo shop. The atmosphere is fun, music is great and friendly tattoo artist. My tattoo artist Rede is cool, nice and very knowledgeable knows what he’s doing and when given an image of what you want he perfects it.I recommend this shop I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else go check them out.

I got my spine & back done with Richard he was the absolute best & so patient with me even though I kept squirming due to back sensitivity. Stopped in with a buddy for a spontaneous tattoo idea right before closing! The vibe of the shop itself is the best out of the dozens of shops that I’ve visited. Mike and Jaylynn were super friendly and accommodating. Jaylynn was so excited and eager to do my tattoo although it was super late. She did an awesome job despite a difficult location. If I get some more work done before I leave SATX, Im coming to Pleasant Dream, and Im asking for Jaylynn!

My husband and I have been coming here religiously since 2019. Combined; we have got over 30 tattoos. Between Richard; Mike and Rede.Richard a.k.a BIG is our main artist. He’s very professional and is amazing.Mike is super friendly, ready to tattoo and a very good artist!Lindsay is the shop manager and is always so welcoming and super niceThe tattoo shop is very clean and the atmosphere is very calm and chill. I love that it is also child friendly; my son has been there on multiple appointments at the waiting area.The list goes on and on. The best TATTOO SHOP in San Antonio!

My roommate and I came into town for spring break and impulsively decided to get tattoos at 10:30pm. We called Pleasant Dreams and B.I.G answered saying he could get us in. We drove over and Magic Mike drew up our butterflies and got us in and out in an hour. They were super patient and kind. We will definitely be back for some future tattoos.

HANDS DOWN BEST SHOP & such a vibe. Kristina did a very detailed job and was extremely considerate of what I wanted/where I wanted it. All of the staff was friendly, accommodating, and encouraging. I would 10/10 come back!

I had pulled up at the smoke shop right next door to this place and I sent my daughter over to ask how much it would be to pierce a little girls’ ears before we went into the smoke shop .. I come out before she does and I noticed one of the guys from the tattoo spot who was sitting outside gave these 2 girls cards (who were also in the smoke shop .. who also came out before my daughter did) I guess for his work .. but when my daughter came out, he didn’t even move a muscle to try & get up to give HER a card too. Idk if it had to do with the fact that the girls were dressed skimpy or if he didn’t think my daughter was attractive enough or worthy of his business but me personally I WILL NOT be giving them my business. Tattoo/piercing shops are extremely biased & sexist especially if the shop is ran by men. If you care about GENUINE customer service, then I suggest y’all take your money elsewhere.

Amazing service from everyone! artists Richard walked me through every step and made sure I was okay and comfortable the whole time. They treat everyone like family! Will be back soon !

One of the nicest and coolest shops I’ve ever been in. The vibe is so chill and inviting, the artists are really friendly and are happy to work with you. My artist was Rede and I got to say he’s one of the nicest and most comforting people I’ve ever met, he talked to us the entire time in order to distract us from the pain and he was sure to reassure us about anything we were worried about and his work is definitely worth it. Loved the shop and I would recommend it to anyone. 10/10

This place is the best. Ive had the opportunity to have my entire leg and arm tattoos by Big. During my time there, Ive gotten to know the Big and his fellow employees, and nothing but great people with even better attitudes. This shop is nothing but good vibes manifested by the people who run it. They deserve nothing but 5 stars, no questions asked. As far as the tattoo work, every time I step out in public I get commented on my tattoos and where I got them from, so the work speaks for itself.

I had B.I.G give me the tattoo I wanted and added some details I didnt realize I wanted. I will be back sooner or later for my next. Hopefully sooner.

The environment is great, very clean and all age friendly. Customer service is on point, got my first tattoo done here by BIG a while back. They have another tattoo artist named Mike and his work is pretty dope too. I would definitely come back to get another tattoo soon, 10/10 reccomend!

Richard is an amazing tattoo artist. I went to him for my first tattoo and the job he did was absolutely phenomenal. He is very professional and made sure I was comfortable during the tattoo session. I will definitely be returning to him from now on for more work.

If youre looking for a perfect piece with a professional artist, Richard is the guy! Got 3 tattoos done by him and Im satisfied with all 3 of them. My wife also got a huge neck piece covered up by Richard, it doesnt even look like a cover up, professionalism at its finest. Keep up the great work!!
