Came here because my granddaughter wanted her bellybutton pierced, we went somewhere else, and the lady said that her anatomy it’s not ready piercing, went Ring of Fire to the gentleman who said he never heard of something like that. He was a professional and did a great job. She loves it. I recommend this place to anybody who would like piercing or tattoos.

Went there with my son as a walk-in to ask some questions and get a feel for the staff. I was greeted immediately, given assistance, had all my questions answered by a friendly staff who legitimately seemed glad we were there. They helped us tweek a design we wanted, we agreed on a price and away we went. My son and I both got the tattoo we wanted (his first) and couldnt be happier. The whole experience was great. The place was clean. The staff was helpful and my son and I have an experience well never forget. I highly recommend this shop. If youre hesitant just go in and have a conversation with them. The staff will help you figure out what you want to do.On a related note. While we were there a young lady came in and appeared to be under the influence. The staff politely, but firmly told her they could not assist her in her condition and they were absolutely right. They chose to do the right thing over making extra money which made me trust them even more.

Went here yesterday with my mom and cousin, and we all loved Jackie! The other two got matching dragonflies and Jackie was so helpful and listened to what they wanted and drew out a design for them. It was perfect I loved them and personally I dont even like Dragonfly tattoos most of the time but these were great. I got Oliver from Disneys Oliver and company, and she colored and shaded it really well! Prices were great considering the work and size of the tattoos too!Were all really happy with our new ink and Jackie was so easy to get along with and she now has at least one new client since Ill be going back for sure!

Came here first time as a walk in. Niki was my tattoo artist! She was super friendly and helpful in bringing my tattoo idea to life. I would recommend her and this shop! They did a great job at being welcoming, professional and the line detailing was good! Niki also gave me aftercare supplies for my tattoo and gave me information on aftercare since it had been years since my last one. Thanks again!

Great place!! Very friendly staff. The tattoo artist were very aware of what we wanted and our tattoos came out perfect. We are extremely excited. We stopped by a few other places but this place won us over. We got a space themed tattoo to celebrate our marriage. I highly recommend this place!!

My artist was Mike and he was easily one of the best artists I’ve ever been to. He made me feel comfortable and relaxed the entire time. He didn’t mind if I was picky or if I kept making changes, he just said okay and easily adapted to how I wanted my tattoo to be. He was funny and held a conversation with me and didn’t mind that I asked too many questions. I highly recommend going to Ring of Fire and asking for Mike.

My son and I were in San Antonio on vacation and had planned on getting matching tattoos while there. Wanted something to memorialize his late mother and my wife. Could not have chosen a better place. This place has the look and feel of an old school tattoo parlor while being extremely clean and professional. Our artist, Joseph is truly that, an artist. Went in the day before and talked to him about what we wanted and in just a few minutes he drew up an amazing rough sketch to get an idea of what we wanted. Said he would try to get us in later that night even after they closed if he could. Turns out he couldnt work us in but called so we wouldnt have to come back for nothing. Had us come back the next evening and got our tattoos done. Again, absolutely AMAZING artist. This was my 10th tattoo and the best experience and work ever. Everyone that was in there was super cool and professional. Wish they were in my town. Next vacation I will definitely be going back for some more work.

I came here for a walk in appointment. The tattoo artist himself was very nice and welcoming however the end result of my tattoo just was not good…. I got a tattoo off birds coming off of a feather and the birds look more like penguins than anything else. I strongly recommend Boardwalk Tattoos over this shop any day.

Me and my husband had a 2 year wedding Anniversary. For our anniversary we decided on tattoos. Passing through I searched for a really good shop near me. Rings Of Fire.... lit up the most because my favorite musician is Johnny Cash. 🎸Arriving the guys attended to us real quick letting us know how long it would take. Let me tell you some people assume they get there and they are gonna sit and get a tattoo done right away.But these guys are professionals. They attend to their clients to get the fine details of what the customer wants. Its a permanent stamp. They appreciate their work as much as we do.Me and my husband were happy to have gotten Mike! 😁 Mike is Awesome!  Granted they all seem cool people. But Mike was our tattoo artist. When he did my husbands first on Sunday I knew I wanted mine done still the next day so he could take the same amount of time he took with my husband. Cause that shows commitment and dedication. He did such a great job on our tattoos. Man we look forward to waking up everyday to well spent art on our skin. Reasonable prices on our tattoos. The time spent laughing and good humor conversation was the best! That was free... live, life, laugh is what Im saying. BTW guys these guys work long to making good work on you. If you are thirsty or hungry they must be too. Be a good Samaritan and hook your artist up with some grub. I went there today and got my Belly Button there. The man there was really nice and easy to speak with. The artwork on the walls is also a big plus. He got it done quick and neatly and I went on my way with instructions on caring for it within 10-15 minutes. Loved it and I’m really happy I decided to go there!!

I came in to get a black and grey American flag with blue line to memorialize a family friend. Chris helped to design and modify what I wanted. I was in the chair for 6 hours. It was a large piece. Chris was very detailed and thorough. I’m going back in a couple weeks to add to it to complete my lower forearm. Highly recommend R of F and furthermore Chris. And if the artist recommends something different than what you want, just listen. They’re the professionals, not you.

My husband and I were visiting San Antonio from Houston. On our last night we were talking about tattoos and decided to call up a local place we found on Google called Rings of Fire Tattoo. It had great reviews so we called to check their availability, and precautions against COVID19 and decided to take a chance. It was my first tattoo and my husband and I both left so pleased with our tattoos and the service we were given, and the fair prices. Chris did mine and Rone (sp?) did my husband’s. They were both very friendly, professional, clean, and great artists. Will come back if I ever decide to do another.

I got my first tattoo from this shop when I turned 21. It was a nostalgic feeling to go in two years later. All the tattoo artists Ive met there have been super sweet. Would go there for all of my work if I didnt live in Cedar Park. :)

I went in for my first tattoo and was charged $600 for a 5 inch tattoo. No shading or color, just a design that wrapped my lower forearm. The tattooer said that it was “the hardest he’s ever done” but it was a very simple tattoo. I was ignorant enough to pay because I believed him and was unaware of how much it was worth. If you go here don’t say it’s your first because they will probably try and scam you out of your pocket.

Showed up for my first tattoo yesterday, what a amazing experience place is super clean and the whole staff was very accommodating in helping me decide on what to get tattooed and where to place it. JoJo absolutely killed my hand piece and the price was even better. Check them out, you will not be disappointed

Went to this place for a septum piercing for my sister and Big A completely messed up the job. Before puncturing her nose, my sister explained to him how it felt uncomfortable and a little too close but he proceeded to pierce the spot anyways and this was the outcome. From my understanding, a septum is supposed to be inside the nose and barley visible so we were SHOCKED at how bad he messed up. We called for a manager but apparently he doesn’t come in till 9:30pm? Very unprofessional and the shop has dim lighting so you can’t even see how it looks until you get home. Point is, If you’re coming in for a septum, there are PLENTY of other shops who will do it correctly the first time. Don’t go here, they’ll mess it up and then brush you off when you call.

Mike tattooed my sister and I. The next morning we noticed some flaws and tried to get him to correct them but he was rude and wanted to charge an additional fee for his shaky lines. Disappointed and have never been treated that way from any other artist and I have 10 plus tattoos.

DO NOT GO HERE! Some guy name ROB gave me a small neck tattoo that says “abundance” and it’s literally horrible. It looks like a pre schooler drew on my neck & left scrapes all over it! I’ve never in my life had a tattoo this horrible. I wish I could give it 0 stars.. see for yourself, oh yea, he also charged me $150 for that horrible calligraphy.. NEVER AGAIN.. getting it covered ASAP

The atmosphere and guys were great. However the guy that did my shoulder tattoos pressed way too hard and not only left me with heavy bruising, but several areas of blowouts.

Thanks for nothing. Came in with my husband and we wanted ring tats for our 10 year anniversary. They were busy and had me leave my number so they could let us know when to come back. I never got a response. This really ment a lot to me. I thought with all the great reviews it would have been a better experience. Now we head home.

Stopped in to check the place out, an hour later left a happy customer, Jackie was very nice and set my surgical nurse wife at ease with the sterile technique, she even posted real time photos to our adult kids as we went along, my 4th tattoo and Jackie was very easy going and a gentle hand, thanks for your work!

I went to this spot 3 years ago for a tattoo at the time only 1 person was there he tried to get us to leave so he could leave then decided he was going to tatt us before he left. He winds up tatting both of us in less than an hour, everything looked fine till it healed, there are some blowouts ,the shading is rough and there are some inconsistent lines,however other friends have gotten tatts from there and theyve come out amazing.

Wanted to get my septum but didnt get to since they ran out of jewelery. When I asked if I could bring my own they said no since its not sterilized so that means they are clean and cautious about what they do to peoples bodies but nevertheless I gave it four since I couldnt get a piercing.

I am a huge fan of Mandi ! She did my nose piercing a year ago when she was piercing at Firme Copias. Of course I was nervous and asked if it will hurt, she said it will be a quick pinch. A quick pinch that made my eyes tear up. lol ! Mandis personality, knowledge, and kindness made my piercing experience comfortable. So 2 weeks ago I reached out to her and said that I want to get both of my Tragus pierced and my daughters ear pierced. She explained that she had moved to Rings of Fire downtown. We showed up and the shop was live! Once again Mandi was amazing, I was not surprised. She is my piercing artist. I highly recommend her!!!

My mom got a memorial tattoo to commemorate her work as a crisis RN during the covid pandemic. The tattoo is so blown out that it looks like she has a bruise under the tattooo. Very disappointed.

Instead of saying they close soon or there not comfortable with their skill set for a simple tattoo they want to charge outrageous prices for small tattoos that the shop minimum would cover and that they clearly stated would cover then they changed their mind

Lowkey they are scammers they charged me 100 for a nose piercing . while other places charge way less also diddnt even give product to help heal

My piercing is crooked a bit but you can hardly tell but other than that he was super nice and it was pain free at least.
