So incredibly happy with how my tattoo turned out!! I was looking for an artist with clean lines and great ideas and I definitely found the right dude! Can not recommend enough. Definitely going to be coming back for my next pieces.

I wanted to wait a few months to watch my tattoo heal to review but it’s held up amazingly. The artist did exactly what was asked of him and it was a comfortable experience since I’m not the type to feel comfortable letting the artist put their spin on things on the fly. Great prices and calm environment for a female going into a place alone as well!

Excellent customer service. Very patient with me and did a great job on my kids tattoo. 100% recommend.

Lorencio really did a great job making the concept I had into a really dope tattoo. The details he added really brought the tattoo to life. Also Im really big on placement and he was super patient, and considerate when it came to placement. I would definitely get tattooed here again in the future/ recommend to friends.

I made an appointment and they treated me very well. I loved the environment that I was in and I loved their hospitality, lorincio (The owner) was patient with me and he was very kind. Justin (One of the tattoo artist) was very helpful pretty chill and also very patient as well. I honestly give this place a 10/10 rating if I ever want a tattoo again I know where I’m going!! Highly recommend getting a tattoo here.

I got my tattoo and I am extremely happy with the work Lorenzo did. He is easy to talk to and shares his knowledge especially if you are like I was... my first time. The man is patient and knows his profession.I was comfortable and felt like I could ask him anything since I mentioned..... my first time. I highly recommend him and I thank him for his advise on the chosen images. My Rotties are captured perfectly on my tattoo! Thanks, Lorenzo.

Lorincio did my tattoo and I am completely happy and satisfied by his work! The shop was clean, he was both friendly and professional. After pouring through reviews for The Ink Retreat and other shops in the area, I will not be taking my business anywhere else and will always refer my family and friends to him. I’m a bit of a sissy when it comes to getting tattoos but Lorincio made the process smooth and painless. I didn’t set foot out the door before I was scheduled to come back for my next one!

Lorenzo (his nickname is Zen One) hes laid back, super chill, and feels like one of the bros. Easy to talk to and so much more welcoming than a LOT of other tattoo artists Ive met from across the US. Hes talented, and makes sure you are happy with what youre getting. Highly recommend going to him.

I had an idea for a tattoo cover up and Lorincio brought it to life! Very professional - I never felt rushed or pressured, he did the tattoo exactly as I imagined it! Shop is clean with a chill atmosphere. Felt very comfortable. Definitely getting any future tattoos here! 10/10!

Ink Retreat is cool, low key studio with a puro San Anto vibe. Check out Jason Pool - he is super professional, talented, and knows how to keep it real. He has tattooed me twice amd both times, it came out beautifully and healed without any trouble. I have seen him do tattoos on newbies and also my fiance, who has been getting ink for over 20 years. Jason has a great approach for customer service and will tailor your experience for your level of knowledge and comfortability. I will definitely be going back for more work!

Great work and atmosphere. Lorencio does great work and have decided to get a sleeve done by him. Also his flash on the wall its unique and interesting. Often has amazing guest artist too. Also theyre new get what you get vending machine is a lot of fun for the daring.

Process was super simple. Called and got a same day appointment. Shop was clean, artist was friendly and knowledgeable. The work speaks for itself. I will definitely be coming back here for future ink. Located inside Salons by JC room number 38. Very pleasant experience!
