I’ve gotten 9 piercings done here by Yesenia and she did an incredible job each time. I could not recommend her or this tattoo/piercing parlor enough. Amazing prices and great vibe :)

Great atmosphere, and even better artists. Fantastic place to get well-done tats at a great price. Do yourself a favor and ask for Yesi, or Tom if shes not available. You wont regret it!

The piercer is incredible! I went in for a quick fix on my conch piercing (threaded flat back came dislodged) and they were the nicest and most considerate piercer I have ever interacted with. The rest of the staff were all very friendly as well, and I could not have had a better experience. I will absolutely be back to Vivid Tattoo at some point, I could not recommend them more.

My and my friend just got our tongues pierced here and the piercer did a great job. Highly recommend!

Christopher, Nico and Steff were all amazing. Very attentive to my husbands and my needs. Very good with detail. They were amazing and they took their time. They did amazing work. My husband and I appreciate them very much. They do their job well. Also they are a very clean facility. They are also very very friendly. Follow what you want done to a T and make it look amazing. They have bright vibrant colors. They are sanitary. They are safe and very clean. Amazing tattoo parlor. They work is so so amazing. My husband and I highly recommend this place.

The environment of this shop is incredibly nice. They made me feel so welcome and secure in the piercing I was getting, a vertical labret. It’s the first lip piercing I’ve ever gotten and I’m very happy I chose to go to this shop specifically. I didn’t catch the name of my piercer, but I went Friday 9/16 22 and was pierced by a woman while her apprentice watched. Absolutely will be returning for more piercings in the future based on their efficiency and kindness!

I got a nose piercing here about a month ago and the place seemed super off and hidden and my piercing got infected literally two weeks after getting it. I never touched it, I used saline spray, I did everything I needed to do to take care of it. I had to go somewhere else to take it out and they told me this place gave me an L shaped piecing that moves too much which is not recommended. They also didn’t check for my ID or made me sign any waivers. I’m a bit disappointed because I spent about 100 bucks just for this to be taken out a month later:/

Nathan took excellent care of me. I came in with a snake outline and he filled it in perfectly. 10/10 recommend Nathan and Vivid tattoo!

Came here to get my tragus pierced. Entire process was quick, efficient, and clean. I didn’t get the piercers name, however, she was amazing and super personable. 10/10 would recommend.

My piercer was asked to pierce through the hole already there but she pierced it from the inside of my lip and missed the hole and pushed out the scar tissue which is sitting on the hole. I would say if u go here be super specific and detailed

Got some piercings here for the best price in all of SD! The artists were professional and friendly. Made you feel comfortable. Located in a really cool spot in hillcrest. Their studio is sick! Very happy with my piercings! Thank you Vivid Tattoo!

So basically I have to tell you Garrett is fantastic. He is my tattoo artist. He is able to look at a picture that I send him and then somehow freehand draw it and get it posted on to my body. Hes a great artist. Did I mention that he holds a great conversation why tattooing. My last tattoo took about 2 hours full color and the size of a giant great fruit.

My friends and finance have gotten most of our tattoos here. Each of the artists are friendly and knowledgable (and talented). They are welcoming to new comers and returning customers. I am always very pleased with the work they do! Will always come back.

Steph is an amazing tattoo artist. She has done 3 of my tattoos and fixed a fourth. I couldnt recommend her more. The rest of the staff is just as talented and make you feel comfortable while being stabbed with a needle thousands of times a minute.

Came in last min bc my girlfriend piercing fell out and literally like a heavenly experience to the female tattoo artist who helped us out , shout out to you ! Walked into the store followed the soothing voice and this angel resolved our issue , We Love You

Tom Blessing is my go-to guy when it comes to getting a tattoo! Thank you for always being so creative and artistic. I just finished tattoo #4 that Tom has done for me. Great person, easy going, and reasonable pricing 👍😁

Nate did an amazing job on my tattoo. Super funny and made the experience great. Visiting from Minnesota and he made me want to make the drive to get every piece done by him.

Ngl the first time i went here they messed up my septum heavy but then i went back n got this white guy all tatted up n he like fixed it perfectly WAY LESS PAINFUL for the free

Nice place. Had Andrew as a piercer. The bar he gave me for my nipple piercings was too small, but he was very kind and gentle and understanding. The place was clean and comfortable.

This is a rad shop. Its comfortable, in a great location, and everyone I spoke with was incredibly friendly. Roman did an amazing job at a reasonable price and was super friendly to boot. Im not from San Diego, but Ill return here when Im back in town.

I am completely appalled by the professionalism of Vivid Tattoo. I went this year with my girlfriend and I only asked for 3 letters (initials) that came out completely messed up. I went back for a cover up. They did offer to fix it, but at that point I just wanted a small cover up about 1inx1in. I understand a small fee might be assessed for a different artist. Im not above recognizing someone elses work. And I was told it was an additional 150$ for an original 80$ messed up tattoo. When I asked them why it was 150$ when I paid 80$ for a botched job, they said, well ill discount you, only 120$. To put it in perspective, my best friend got a tattoo that night that covered about 6-7 inches of her arm and it was 200$ total. My 3 initials (1/2 in big each) came out to 200$ after my initial 80$ screwed up job and 120$ discounted to fix it. DONT GO HERE! Their is plenty of more reputable places.

Steph is the best!. I recently lost my bestfriend (dog) Roscoe. I asked Steph to put his paw print on my forearm to show he made an impression on me. I wanted to have him with me forever. Steph gave me exactly what I wanted. Steph is a talented artist and has an excellent t work ethic. Shop is clean and easy to get to.

I had a tattoo Steph did on my shoulder 8 years ago that needed some loving so of course I came back to her. I am so happy I did. I absolutely love my tattoo! I cant stop staring at it lol. I am looking forward to Steph bringing my other tattoos back to life! Thank you so much Steph I couldnt love it more!

We have tried to communicate by phone and the person who attended us said that he had no accommodation saying Booking that there was room to stay. I dont understand 🤦😔 they have lost some customers

I specifically wanted a nose piercing and i did get it i told him later on i wanted to put in a hoop and he pierced it so low that the stud won’t even sit right and the hoop hangs off it’s so ugly i literally hate it
