Fawn and Trixie are the sweetest and we’re so good with my two girls (6&7) so patient and took their time even when my oldest didn’t want her second ear pierced. But Fawn was so nice and told her she was so brave. We will definitely recommend and come back when they are old enough for more.

She worked with me weeks before my appointment to create a bespoke design based on a loose concept and intuitively improved all parts of the design after receiving feedback. If you are looking to have a piercing done, jewelry changed, or just ask questions, I highly recommend going here. Fawn was amazing. I already had a septum piercing that was done about a year ago at a different shop. It healed fine, but was pierced in the wrong spot. I repeat, this was a piercing done at a different shop. Due to my current septum piercing being in the wrong spot, I was interested in getting a second septum piercing done correctly. My goal was to stack the piercings if possible. Fawn was great with listening to my concerns and what I was looking to have done.I am no virgin when it comes to piercings, but it had been well over 15 years since my last piercing when I went to get my septum done a year ago.With my first septum piercing, I had been impulsive. I was focused on getting the piercing done *that day*. I didnt take the time to research shops and I didnt listen to my gut. This time I did research, read reviews and listened to my intuition.Fawn was able to pierce my septum in the correct spot, stacking the new piercing with the old. It looks so much better. I find it interesting that it wasnt nearly as painful this time. My first septum piercing hurt quite a bit more, stung/hurt a lot for the first 24 hours and continued to hurt for the first week. It hasnt even been 24 hours this time and I have ZERO pain.I cant wait to go back to Fawn to guage my ears. Its official, I am not going to go to any other piercing shop besides Midtown in the future.

They were so nice! It was my first time getting any piercings and they walked me through the whole process. Very friendly staff that answered all my questions. Nice, clean office. Also, one of the very few places that does piercings in Santa Cruz! Id definitely reccomend them to anyone in SC wanting a piercing :)But as a side note: make sure youve budgeted enough money! I did not expect to spect $400 on 3 piercings! Firstly, you are required to be pierced with their jewelry because its been graded to be body-safe and wound-safe. Each earring starts at $40 and goes up from there. And each ear lobe counts as one piercing, so its $120 for 2 ear lobes, plus $40 each earring, so $200 total (I also got a nose stud, so $60 + $80 stud with a gem + taxes = $400 at checkout). This is my first piercing so I dont know if thats average, but the bill certainly shocked me a bit! Make sure youve saved up enough.The only thing that annoyed me was I had tried to call 2 days prior to ask about all the pricing details, but neither of their phone numbers worked. I had to go in person and learn all this day-of. Personally I had set aside some money, so I ended up having enough. But I want other people to know so you can plan accordingly. Their website does not list any details about what jewelry they have available, I hope they update this in the future. Still giving 5 stars because aside from price, it was a very good experience, nice staff, and clean environment :)

I spoke to the people here on the phone and they were very nice! I was interested in getting my first tattoo done here, but I recently heard of the ABHORRENT attitude, actions, and behavior of this establishment. Apparently if you leave anything less than a 5-star review they will HARASS you into changing it via, but not limited to:Bribery, insults, begging, and guilt-tripping.No wonder they have perfect 5-stars, it’s honestly scary how far they’re willing to go to maintain this. Anyone who owns a business should know that no matter how good you are, there is never perfection and that’s okay. Everyone is entitled to a true fair opinion and it is very much wrong to attempt to go through audacious lengths to change that.I had planned on booking, and it’s safe to say I changed my mind. I imagine they will contact me too. I wouldn’t go here, even though they preform high quality the outrageous behavior is too much to ignore. It’s scary.

Got a tattoo from Oxana this week. I would definitely recommend getting a tattoo from her, she was able to work with me throughout the design process and very open to changing the design and adding details. If you care about the design process and making sure you are given the opportunity to refine your ideas and experiment with different designs in order to make your idea the most it can be, I would definitely recommend working with Oxana!I was very happy with the tattoo itself and have already gotten a lot of compliments on it. The attention the detail that Oxana shows is very impressive and the tattoo is so well done that it almost looks 3D.The longest I had sat for a tattoo before this was 1 hour, for this one I sat for almost 7 hours which was a long time but Oxana offered to let me take breaks throughout the process, switch from sitting to laying down, and even gave me half of her lunch and offered snacks throughout the whole thing.Also, the studio itself it really nice, super clean, and the staff there are all super friendly and professional. It’s an overall great environment so props to the owners for designing such a nice space.Already looking forward to the next time I come in!

I have seen Alix for microblading for about 6 years or so. She does great work and is absolute pleasure to be around. This new shop is super cute, clean and bright. Great environment. Well worth the hour drive for me.

First of all WOW.What a welcoming shop. It’s open an airy and just a vibe. I had been messaging Alix, the cosmetic tattoo artist, for months (even before midtown tattoo had opened) with questions about microblading. Alix always responded quickly and reassured me with what to expect throughout the process.When it finally came in time for my appointment she made sure to take her time and walk me through the steps of mapping out the new shape and coloring of the brows. It does take some time but It’s so worth it to make sure we’re both on the same page and I get exactly what I want.Overall Alix made me feel so comfortable and did a great job creating a space for everyone to feel welcome and safe. 10/10 would recommend and 100% will be doing more business here!

I have been going to Alix for 5 years now for my brows. She has such a warm and inviting presence. She listens to any questions I may have and takes her time during the drawing process to make sure that my vision for my brows is achieved. Midtown tattoo is so clean and has a mellow vibe, it’s not intimidating like most tattoo shops. The micro blading experience itself; the “first pass” was uncomfortable but was not intensely painful, be prepared for a few sneezes! After that she adds numbing cream and it’s a breeze! My morning routine has become simplified, I love my brows. In middle school in the 90’s my brows took a beating. With the help of micro blading and reshaping I actually have brows now. Highly recommend!

Was visiting my sister and we decided to get matching tattoos. They were based off of a poem we liked and Sheila really brought our idea to life! I have many tattoos and been to many different shops but this one was so unique and I love it! I’ve never been somewhere that asked me of my pronouns and I thought that was really nice as well. Definitely recommend this place 100%

Me and my sister came to get matching tattoos as well as a larger tattoo for myself. Sheila was very kind and I enjoyed my experience there. She did a great job, she was very thorough and reassuring. The shop is very clean and the environment was calming. I have tattoos already, but I think it would be a great place for anyone’s first tattoo.
