An incredibly wonderful experience getting a piercing evaluated and updated with appropriate hardware! Shay and Thea were so nice and helpful in picking a new piece of jewelry, installing it relatively painlessly, and advising on possible options for my ear decoration journey. Will definitely be back for any future piercing needs and have already recommended them wholeheartedly to friends.

As soon as I walked in the door I was greeted by Michael (aka Frei). Frei and Anji made the entire styling experience so much fun and it’s obvious they enjoy personalizing piercings for each of their clients. Anji took the time to get to know my esthetic and my anatomy, and I am beyond pleased with the results. In addition, their BVLA jewelry is top-notch with conflict-free, ethically sourced diamonds. I’m so thankful to have found my new Seattle piercing team!! These guys rock 💎🤘🏼!

I had an incredibly lovely experience getting pierced at Bury Me In Gold last weekend. I’d been talking myself out of a nostril piercing for years, and came in on a whim to see if maybe this was the time I’d follow through. Thea and Shay were so incredible, kind and patient. Their confidence is contagious and helped me find the confidence to finally get the piercing I’ve wanted for a long time. I don’t think I’ve ever felt quite as welcome in a space as I did with Shay and Thea, they treat you like a friend the moment you walk in, and leave you feeling more confident and beautiful then when you came. I visited BMIG to get a new nose ring after having some issues with my stud. The shop came highly recommended from a friend and after visiting, I absolutely understand why!Shay and Michael were so incredibly kind and thoughtful in helping me find the right size and color ring for my nose. Shay was thorough in explaining every step of what they were doing when putting in my new jewelry. I didn’t exactly have plans to get any new work done, but the experience now has me reconsidering and I might be back soon!

This is my new favorite piercing spot in Seattle! A friend and I scheduled separate ear styling appointment with Shay. When we got there, Shay and Thea were incredibly helpful and patient while we looked at all of the jewelry. I ended up getting two piercings and I’m excited to come back for more!

Got my first ever conch piercing from Shay and Thea helped me pick out jewelry. The nicest, funniest people ever who answered my millions of questions and helped me decide on the most beautiful piece of BVLA jewelry, it truly felt like I was just chatting with a few friends. Shay explained the piercing process super thoroughly so the piercing itself was relatively painless and easy. I go to college in Boston, so Shay also went above and beyond to recommend a piercer for me to go to there during the school year.It was clear that they would’ve approached my piercing with just as much compassion, patience, and expertise if I was spending $50 or $5000. I’ll undoubtedly be coming back for future piercings and recommend Bury Me in Gold to all my friends looking to get pierced :)

The best piercing experience ive had in seattle or anywhere hands down. anji is awesome! the space is gorgeous. jewelry is beautiful and top of the line, yes expensive but you get what you pay for. what really wins me over is the staff though. previous experiences at other shops have been tainted by what seems to be a culture of arrogant/stuck-up and/or unprofessional piercers. it can make the appointment intimidating or unpleasant. but these folks are friendly and approachable, very professional while being super knowledgeable and holding themselves to a high standard. will be back for sure!

I got my first ever facial piercing here yesterday with Shay and it was such a wonderful experience. I was kindly greeted by Frei up front who is so polite and welcoming. He helped me get all set up with my jewelry. Before the piercing, i was quite nervous but Shay helped calm me down with her relaxed and positive energy. She explained step by step how the piercing would go and she never left me questioning what would happen next. Shay was very clean, professional, and transparent. I am so happy i got my piercing done here and i will definitely be back for more piercings!

I had such a wonderful experience at Bury Me In Gold. I came in for two piercings (a second lobe and helix) and they were smooth sailing! They were my first piercings (minus my lobes as a kid), and Shay and Thea were both extremely helpful talking me through the process and showing me a variety of different kinds of jewelry. Shay was my piercer and they were super kind and gentle. I’m excited to come back for more piercings once these are all healed up!

I absolutely love this shop! Been to many of the high end piercing boutiques in Seattle and this one is my favorite after one visit. The owners are so sweet and welcoming and really know their stuff when it comes to both piercing safety and jewelry/mineral quality. Definitely would recommend. Will probably not bother even going to other shops but this one.

Came here to get matching septum piercings with my daughter on her 15th birthday (her idea). I really couldn’t have been more happy with our experience! Incredibly kind and talented staff! I had an Ear Styling appointment with Anji. She was incredibly knowledgeable and helped me decide on new piercings with the perfect jewelry to complement my existing piercings. Frei was also so kind and helpful throughout the process from providing a warm welcome to taking photos of my piercings to document my journey to making sure I had candy before I got pierced to make sure my blood sugar levels were OK! You can tell the staff is highly passionate in what they do! Came here to get my partners ears pierced and left with my nose done as well :) Everyone was so friendly and funny. We instantly felt at ease and cared for. I had a great experience here at Bury Me In Gold. Thea and Anji were so sweet and knowledgeable about their jewelry and piercings. I told Thea what I was interested in changing out my ear piercings for my daith and industrial. Also, I wanted to get a new piercing. She broke down the prices for the jewelry I was interested in. Even when I realized the jewelry was not in my budget, Thea helped me pick out a piece for a new helix piercing that was within my price range. Thea and Anji communicated professionally with me. Anji was so professional when it came to the piercing process. She made me feel comfortable with getting pierced. They really build a friendly atmosphere for their clients and work hard to make sure they send their clients off with jewelry and piercings they’re happy with. I wish I wasn’t moving to Oakland because I’d definitely come back here for more piercings and jewelry. Although I’m moving to Oakland, Thea gave me stores she recommended in the area so I can go to get my jewelry downsized there.

Ive had my septum pierced previously, but my last experience was in Utah. For those unaware, Utah is a highly religious state, which isnt inherently negative, but it can lead to some unique encounters. Piercing and tattoo shops there always felt daunting to me, perhaps due to my upbringing in the LDS/Mormon faith. The last time I had my septum pierced, the piercer confessed to having limited experience, which didnt inspire confidence. The result was a crooked piercing, and in Utah, options are limited. However, this time was different. Shay, the piercer, was patient and incredibly kind. She took the time to explain the process and ensured I would be pleased with the outcome. Although the piercing appeared crooked initially, likely due to my noses unique shape, Shay corrected it. It seemed slightly askew at first because of swelling, but it settled perfectly after a few days. Im thrilled with the result and the welcoming atmosphere, which was significant given my past experiences. A heartfelt thanks to Shay for her exceptional work!

There are few places in Seattle that are oozing with an abudance of love and care. Luckly, Bury Me in Gold is one of them!Id been meditating on a new pericing for a few weeks and I wanted a shop that was a member of The Association of Professional Piercers and validated Queer/Trans + BIPOC folks.I end up going to the shop 3 times over 7 days. While I could have gotten all the adjustments done in 1 day, going back multiple times allowed me to reflect on my experience and ensure that this was a shop where I wanted to spend my money and change my body forever. Upon each visit I was met with loving kindness and left feeling really taken care of.Shay walked me through my pericings. They allowed me to make changes if needed and answered all my questions. I felt at home in my body and safe throughout each adjustment.Theodora was dare I say - very demur, very classy, very mindful - and made me feel incredibly seen and appreciated. I got my ears pierced here and had a great experience. I felt like everything was explained to me clearly so I knew what to expect during the visit and in the healing process afterwards. They were also very straightforward with the costs. Getting the piercing was a lot faster than I expected and I felt like the shop was really focused on quality and on making sure that your piercing heals properly and that you are comfortable during the appointment. Anji, the owner, did my piercing I am already planning on going back to her for another soon.

Great experience with a consultation and forward helix piercing! Frei (at front) had read my appointment notes and showed me some specific jewelry and was really patient with all of my questions. Anji took time to explain what would and wouldnt be possible for my ear anatomy. The actual piercing was quick, easy, and as painless as possible (mostly a pinch). Placement + jewelry was even better than I imagined. Would highly recommend and would visit again whenever Im in town.

Travelled to Bury Me in Gold to be pierced by Anji last week and it was honestly fantastic! I got my tragus pierced with the cutest little black diamond and she was so gentle and kind. The studio is beautiful and very accessible, as a wheelchair user I had absolutely no issue, and everyone was very mindful and accommodating!Highly recommend visiting if you’re looking to get pierced (or get new jewellery) in Seattle!

Special care was taken to ensure sterilization for jewelry and tools including a signed test tag that I was offered to look at before and after the autoclave was used. Very nice touch. I got my philtrum pierced by Anji on 10/27 and it was quite possibly the best piercing experience I have ever had! Thea helped me pick my jewelry, we ended up picking a faceted rainbow moonstone set in a rose gold honeycomb bezel. Anji was so gentle and thorough in explaining everything she was doing. The piercing was so quick too!I went back today for my first downsize and my experience was as wonderful as it was when I got pierced. Anji and Frei are so knowledgeable and welcoming!
