She helped me to select the jewelry that would be best for both my anatomy and healing. She listened to my vision and curated exactly what I wanted - keeping me as part of the decision making process every step of the way.Jade has such a calm, comforting disposition and always explained what she was doing when physical contact was made. The piercing process itself was quick and, before I ever needed to ask, she would say its normal to feel this so that I never once ever felt anxiety.I am so thankful for this experience and feel soooo beautiful with my new piercings!Thank you Jade & Studs crew!Picture includes the three new piercings: conch and two flats. Had a wonderful experience at STUDS! I got my lobe pierced to match my other side and purchased a set of black in gold studs. My piercer, Jade, was fantastic - professional and knowledgeable. Used a needle instead of a piercing gun, which was unexpected but not a problem. Will definitely visit again!

Was in town and decided to get a piercing on a whim. I had the opportunity to work with Liv and she was really wonderful and coached me through the whole piercing. I ended up getting a conch piercing and also switching out one of my helix piercings. The jewellery selection is pretty varied and is affordable, ranging from like $30s to $170s depending on what you’re looking to get. They also give you a care packet and some stickers. Overall it was a very positive experience! Pictured is my conch piercing (red) and switched out jewellery on my helix (gold).

No plan on going to this shop, but I accidentally hit my ear with a broomstick and my post studs came off and I cannot find the other half. I was gonna go back to the shop where I got it but it’s by appointment only. The person who assisted me is very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly, she helped me select the right gauge for my piercing, the shop was pretty busy but she keep checking on us making sure where doing good. I was hoping for the body piercer to help me put it on but they are fully booked that day. I was able to put in on myself though.

I went to get two piercings done about 10 weeks ago and my second earlobe piercing never healed. I think it was infected because no matter how much I took care of it it always looked irritated. I ended up taking it off and right after I did that, 3-4 days later my ear healed super fast. I have had around 10+ piercings in my ears, industrial, helix, tragus among others and this never happened to me before. I do not thing I will visit studs again…

My sister and I wanted to get a special day, so we made an appointment here for ear piercings. Front staff including Mango and Bella were really helpful and kind. My piercer Red explained every step making me feel comfortable. Thank you!

We were walk-ins, but had almost no wait time. Liv was our piercer. My holes, which I thought were closed, actually just needed the tapered needle as a gentle reminder to open. So, I went from zero holes to 4 holes in my ears in under 20 minutes! So happy that Ill be able to wear all of my earrings again soon 😁

A warning to groups or friends that want to get pierced together: I booked 2 appointments at the same time - 1 for myself and 1 for my partner, who was getting pierced for the first time and was nervous. Every other studio I’ve been to, if you book at the same time and are there together they will let you accompany each other and/or be pierced by the same piercer. My partner was called back first and I asked to accompany them to support and be able to take some photos/document, as they were excited for their first piercing. The piercer would not let me come back as I had an appointment also booked in the slot, even though my piercer was not ready for me. We explained that my partner was nervous and wanted moral support, and they still would not allow me to accompany them. I waited for 10 minutes for my piercer, completed my piercing in about 5 minutes, and then my piercer took me to the other studio room where my partner had finished their piercing. The appointment slots are pretty long and it takes all of 5-10 minutes to get pierced, so it was frustrating that they wouldn’t let us at least accompany each other. My partner handled it fine and was okay but the whole point was to get pierced together. The first piercer did not listen to our concerns and did not really make an effort to be flexible - I would have just cancelled my appointment if I’d known it would be an issue. We also arrived plenty early and said we were excited to get pierced together and were not told we’d be separated. At the end of the day we’re adults and it’s fine, but it really deflated the whole experience. Both piercers did fine work and my piercer was very nice and accommodating when I told her what was going on and why I was a little miffed.In short: a fine place to get pierced, inflexible with the scheduling and didn’t really listen to our concerns regarding my partners fear of needles. Has never been an issue at any other piercing studio I’ve been to. The FAQ online recommends booking appointments at the same time for groups under 12 - I also figured that would be most convenient for them based on my experience at 5+ other piercing studios. Overall it was frustrating and disappointing - I’ve never been denied accompaniment for someone with a fear of needles at a piercing studio before. If you want to have a fun experience getting pierced together with a friend, I recommend Evolve Piercing on Broadway - very kind and accommodating, and one of the most experienced piercers I’ve ever been to.

Was here to get my ears done a year ago. I had an appointment, but some girl apparently had an emergency so I ended up waiting an hour....The piercer also gaslighted me into thinking the piercings were symmetrical, after I voice my concern that its not. Now that I been to another professional, I know what its supposed to be like. Trust your instinct and ask for a damn ruler if you need to...

The shop is cute and has good jewelry but 1. be aware of the material and 2. don’t take the consultants advice to heart. I was given a hoop that was way too small even after being consulted and they’re not trained and knowledgeable like most piercing shops. I recommend this place only if you know what you’re doing! Also double check the prices because they were different in the store (according to the employee) and online.

Ok..I LOVED my piercer and customer service experience was phenomenal. 3 days after my flat piercing I spent 5 hours in the ER getting a foreign body removal of the jewelry. Worst pain I have ever experienced physically. I was told that there was a severe bacteria that I must’ve contracted during the piercing progress and I’m lucky I caught it early.Update: Studs kindly reached out to me and refunded me for my piercing experience. This is such a kind gesture and again I want to say how amazing my customer experience continues to be!! Thank you.

My experience at Studs was amazing! I cant remember the name of my piercer, but she was from Texas which we bonded over as Im also from Texas. She made me feel so comfortable and fully explained the process as it happened, so I was always aware of what was going on. I highly recommend this location as the entire staff and experience was fantastic!

Best experience I ever had. I came in with a 6:50 appointment time but came in at around 5, to see if I could get in early since I was in the area. I was told they could see what they could do and I should expect around 5:50 to get pierced. I had a few questions since I have an awkward ear shape and wanted honesty about what I could get. I was told my first choice of a tragus piercing probably would t be the best for my ear and it would reject in a few months. They told me then they could try if I really wanted it but the straight up answer would be it would be a temporary piercing . Since I was happy with the honesty and I didn’t wanna waste my money with something temporary. They then asked my second option. I discussed a flat helix after that. After just a few minutes (not even in the double digits) I was told my piercer was ready for me. Mia was my piercer and came out to help me look at the piercing jewelry options and helped me understand my choices. She also was very clear of things to know before hand such as this piercing moved around a bit but I’m not able to move or turn the jewelry so I wanted a design that would be okay turned any way for now. After that she took me back and was so very nice and comforting with the piercing process. She walked through every step verbally saying what she was doing before doing it and told me she would be quick but to let me know if I needed anything or for her to take a minute. She made sure the placement was perfect with the marker before hand and even turned my head and ears different ways to solidify that it was symmetrical on both ears. She made sure it was perfect and I got to look in the hand held mirror to take a look. I had a question about trying to visualize what the piercing would look like in this dot that was marking placement. She happily took the end of the cotton swab to show me the diameter of surface of my ear the earring would take up. I immediately was so happy about the placement t it was perfectly done. She explained step by step what to do and was extremely swift in putting the piercing in, I didn’t even flinch or feel any pain really with how the process went. I even asked her afterwards about some aftercare questions I had and I asked her about a previous piercing I had done a year ago at another place that wasn’t done correctly. She was able to help me answer some questions about that too. I have a feeling I will let that bad piercing from a year ago close up and I will come back to STUDS to get it redone. Best experience ever I will be a frequent costumer. Plus they take student discounts! The environment is so cute as well. I have a picture below of my lightning bolt piercing I got done on both ears. Clean and friendly place with transparent practices and pricings for earrings and piercing services! Ive been to a few piercing places and none of them are as transparent or honest. Everyone who works there is extremely nice and goes out of their way to be friendly and welcoming. 1000% Id go again whether Im getting a new piercing or just buying an earring/switching out. Quick and painless service with lovely and understanding humans.

I’m disappointed with this piercing shop. They only limit you to two piercings at a time, and although their intention is for healing purposes, I always get at least THREE piercings at a time. I find that getting multiple piercings at once is easier to heal all at ONCE vs getting only 1-2 at a time.Not only that but their signage is very misleading. They have something. That says you can get $15 off 3 earrings, $25 off 4 earrings.To top off this experience we had to wait 40 mins after the scheduled appointment.I will say that the staff was nice and there were minimal piercing grade jewelry options. They also have a nice aesthetic inside the place.So that’s my two cents :)

I have mixed feelings about studs. I did the Studs snake bites on my midi-helix. The experience at the time was great, and the piercer was so nice. But it’s been four months and my jewelry is SO tarnished and my piercings are still tender. I use the piercing spray every single day and I’ve tried to do everything right, these aren’t my first piercings. It honestly seems like the jewelry is causing continued irritation.

I had an appointment to get a second lobe piercing on each side and was blown away by the friendly and informative service. I think the piercer’s name was Red. I love my new piercings and I will absolutely return to get some more during my next trip to Seattle. Thank you, Studs!

Jade was super kind and very thorough with explaining the aftercare and everything I needed to know for my piercings (especially downsizing the jewelry). Loved getting my ears pierced here. It was my first time and I was nervous but the lady that pierced me did such a great job and made me feel so calm. Its been 2.5 weeks and Ive had no problems so far!

Im so glad my friend and I went to studs to get our ears pierced! The piercer, Red, was amazing. They were so careful to keep everything sterilized and walk me through exactly what they were going to do. The best part was they discovered a helix piercing I thought had been closed for over a decade was actually still open, so they gauged it back up and put an earring back in it.Everyone who worked there was very kind and helpful with picking out the jewelry. The only thing to note is they dont always have all the jewelry available on the website, if they run out of stock, but luckily there were still options I wanted.

I got my big flower flat here, they were very kind and patient. Red was my piercer and she was extremely thoughtful and careful about placement and my anatomy. The piercing barely hurt and was probably my easiest. The healing is going great too, Im surprised with how painless it was.

Ive had 6 piercings performed at this studs studio in Capitol Hill since theyve opened and have purchased countless pieces of jewelry as well. The entire staff is top notch. They are welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They have a great selection of affordable jewelry that holds up well with daily wear and showers. Recently I made a jewelry purchase and upon returning home could not find it anywhere. I had either left it behind at the studio after purchasing or lost it en route home. I was disappointed, but after reaching out via email to their customer service team, they were able to double check with the studio and even arranged to have it replaced for me even after neither myself or the studio could find it. They didnt have to do this for me, but didnt hesitate to help me. When I went in to get it replaced, the staff didnt make me feel bad for having lost it and were happy to help. This is why I continue to frequent Studs and this location because you know you will be genuinely taken care of by their staff, and their jewelry is durable, affordable, and varied.

Mia is absolutely amazing at what she does! It was the quickest and most painless piercing I’ve ever gotten! STUDS is insanely clean, the people are all friendly and really helpful. Great selection of jewelry and just an all around amazing piercing experience. Piercing studios, TAKE NOTES!! STUDS is a game changer!! Will definitely be back for more!

I had a great experience here, would recommend! The workers were all very professional and welcoming. My piercer, Mia, took her time deciding the location of my piercings to make sure they looked great and answering all of my questions! Very clean and brightly lit atmosphere, you can tell they are making sure your piercing is as hygienic as possible. I got pierced a few months ago and they are still healing great!

Super nice and welcoming people. Everything was explained and I felt very comfortable. I would highly recommend going if it’s your first time or even if you just want to get more piercings staff was amazing and the shop clearly prioritizes health cleanliness.

I got my earlobes pierced here Dec 2023. The ear piercing jewelry they use here is not body safe, has obvious tarnishing after 3 months most likely due to cheap mystery metal. If you do get a piercing here, get it discounted significantly and change the jewelry out to titanium as soon as you can. The piercing process was ok but the sanitation was lacking, did not clean my ear lobe skin before piercing etc.

Had an amazing experience!! My sister and I went to get pierced today. I originally wanted my rook but my piercer Mia said it wouldn’t heal right so I went with my conch and got a little moon that looks perfect!! I appreciated the honesty and guidance!! My sister got her tragus done. My sister has Tourette’s so we warned the piercer (Meredith) and she was very patient and accommodating. My sister felt lightheaded after and Meredith took care of her. Thank you to the piercers and whole staff for an amazing experience!!

Made an appointment and arrived 5 mins late. No one greeted or acknowledged me when I walked in, so I looked around until someone came and helped me 5 mins later. He told me I had missed the grace period and they could no longer honor the appointment, even though I had arrived at the store within the grace period.Also, I had chosen a tragus piercing when making the appointment a week prior but when I arrived they told me they did not have the right needles for that piercing (and several others). Would have been nice to know before making the trip out.Love the concept of this place but would not recommend this location as they dont seem very organized or customer service oriented.

Went in for an emergency earring change because i accidentally ripped out one of my forward helix studs. Red was awesome, quick, and knowledgeable. Place was clean and well ran. If in Seattle and want an ear piercing highly recommended!

Had the best experience here! piercer was great and the shop was so inclusive! they have white markers that show up on darker skin so you can ACTUALLY see where they will pierce you, that detail alone was so nice. I do wish they offered some of their more designed jewelry as piercing jewelry tho.

I visited the Studs Capitol Hill location and very much enjoyed my experience. The staff were helpful and friendly. While I was waiting to get pierced, they helped me pick my piercing jewelry and made my wait enjoyable. The piercer was skilled and made me feel comfortable. I was able to work with her to figure out the placement/look that I wanted, and the piercings turned out exactly how I wanted. Overall a great experience, and I would definitely go back! The one drawback was that the wait time was about 30-45 min despite having an appointment, but that might have been due to only one piercer being on staff at the time.

I loved it here! Everyone is super knowledgeable and helpful! They suggested different jewelry options based on my other piercings. I had Jade and they were AMAZING! I got my conch pierced and it was the easiest piercing and didn’t hurt as bad as I’ve heard it does! They also had a bunch of high quality jewelry that you could buy! I was pierced here a little over 4 months ago and till this day, everything went smoothly. The healing process went great. My piercer was clean and very professional throughout the whole process. In addition, the front desk was helpful and patient too.

I was in town visiting a friend in Seattle and stumbled upon Studs. Wanted an impromptu piercing and some new earrings, so we decided to check it out. They were able to squeeze me in as a walk in, had super knowledgeable and friendly staff, and the shop was clean. Mia was my piercer and she made the whole process so quick and painless! Love my new piercing and my upgraded bling! 🩵

Super limited supply of piercing jewelry. Also, despite there being 6 people on staff and only 4 customers, it still felt chaotic in the store and it was difficult getting the information I needed on my desired jewelry. The people ultimately seemed nice, but I dont think Id feel super comfortable as a general person in a place that seemed like it was (or at least was trying to be) much cooler than Ill ever be.

I definitely would not recommend studs, they are overpriced, they dont let anyone in with you. They make you come back for follow up appointments, (downsizing) which they will reschedule multiple times. The selection sucked and they expect tips for basic ear lobe piercing.

Paid to get a jewelry change in my tragus. The jewelry fell out in less than a month, studs would not replace the jewelry (I have had this piercing for 8 years and have gotten a few jewelry changes at different shops over the years - never had a problem before with jewelry falling out before studs).

Experience was great and easy. They do exactly what is advertised. They will walk you through and give you suggestions for your ear. Legit let you know if your ear can handle it. Its been 2 months since and Ive had no issues. I got a Daith and a helix. And Im very happy.The building gets a little toasty out front on a 80 plus day but other than that positive for being a peircing chain that only uses needles and only does ears!

I personally had a really lovely experience here! Jade was my piercer and had a lot of knowledge on where would be best to do my piercings and I did a double helix and it was the quickest piercing ever! Made the pain not so scary. And Jade was very soothing and professional. Liv helped me pick my jewelry and was so nice and kind! Staff overall was so friendly and above and beyond anywhere else Ive been to pierce my ears. Will return. (Also has the cutest jewelry I’ve ever seen!)

Wonderful experience today getting my cartilage pierced for the first time here with Meredith as my piercer. She explained the process clearly and helped me decide whats the best placement for my ear shape with her artistic eye. The place itself is very clean, fun and chic. All the staff were very kind and friendly to interact with and the pricing is affordable!

Best ear piercing experience I’ve ever had! I wasn’t sure about going here at first since it’s a chain, but everyone was upbeat and professional. The piercer helped me choose the right piercing for my anatomy and face shape, which no one else has ever done. I got two piercings. It was painless and I enjoyed chatting with my piercer, Red. Highly recommend.

I had a wonderful first time experience at Studs. Meredith, my piercer, was so professional and efficient. Was debating between the rook and the daith, and unfortunately couldnt get the rook due to my anatomy but Meredith gave the thumbs up on the daith so we rocked with that. She was very attentive to me having a wonderful experience, very cleanly, and super clear with her instructions. The piercing portion itself was quick and pretty painless.Liv, at the counter, was so patient and helpful with picking out jewelry and making sure everything looked good and would fit my aesthetic. I have gone to studs to get multiple piercings and jewelry changes, and I have loved it every time! Not only is the jewelry super cute and high quality, but the people working there are always super sweet and friendly. I recommend studs to all of my friends, and even took my mom to get a piercing there!

Red was so great when I kept wanting to reposition my helix & upper lobe piercings, and had great insight of where I should have those piercings considering that I want more in the future. Everyone on staff was great and was more than happy to get me information about in stock items and when they were coming in - Im just struggling to remember names, but everyone was AWESOME.Super sanitary and super reasonable pricing. I will be going here in the future so I dont get ROBBED FROM OTHER PLACES in the future. Thanks for everything guys!

Went to get my second lobe piercings and wow this place was wonderful! It was very piercing anxiety friendly and I felt super safe and comfortable the entirety of the process. All the employees were very friendly. 10/10 recommend to anyone and everyone with anxiety or stress about piercings. My piercer, Meredith, made sure to walk through every step of the process including cleaning pre piercing and made sure I was feeling good, asking if I needed any thing to drink or eat pre piercing.

Such an amazing experience with amazingly kind people. The process was simple, the location was clean, and the piercing was professional. As person with multiple piercings, this was by far the best experience. Everyone was so very accommodating and considerate, and the wide range of jewelry offered is nice yet affordable. Absolutely the best piercing experience I’ve had! From the minute we walked through the door my boyfriend and I were greeted by the chillest, nicest staff. I didn’t have an appointment; luckily, I was still able to secure a spot and only had to wait 15 minutes. In the meanwhile, my boyfriend was having a blast talking to everyone working there. Shout-out to the Studs team! Besides the amazing costumer service, they also gave us the best food recommendations. We ate hella good!For my piercings: Meredith was super sweet and incredibly professional! During our consultation, she gave me great advice and helped to pick out the best piercing spots for my tiny little ears. I ended up getting a conch and lower cartilage piercing on the same ear. She talked me through every step (which I deeply appreciated) and the piercings were relatively painless and quick. The studio is very clean and aesthetically 10/10. Update - two days after and my ear looks amazing! I’ve gotten a bad piercing before, where my ear was incredibly painful and swollen after but that’s not the case here! Meredith also walked me through aftercare and answered all my questions. If your looking to get new ear piercings THIS. IS. IT. Only the best people and vibes, you absolutely can’t go wrong. One of the best parts of my whole trip to Seattle. Y’all are 10/10 beginning to end. Thank you again Meredith, Mango and the whole team! 🫶🏻

Everyone was so friendly and helpful! Only detail is my helix was pierced instead of the flat helix I asked for 🥲 by the time I realized it was too late. Great jewelry choices though also.

My piercer was very kind and did a great job! i had a great experience and will probably go back for more piercings. the only downside to note is simply now expensive it is. i got 2 piercings and bought the studs from the lowest and second lowest tier and it was still over $250. the website doesn’t clearly state (at least not that i saw when i booked my appointment) that you have to pay for the studs separately… that being said i loved the vibe and the jewelry they offer [also also,,, parking is hell. i’m glad i got there early because i spent about 15 minutes just driving around to find somewhere to park]

Not the best place for piercings. Nice staff and nice piercers, but there’s not much skill or knowledge about piercings. I have 15 ear piercings (daith (1), forward helix (2), high helix (4), conch (1), stacked lobe (1), lobes (6)), and I do not recommend this location. Please go to a better studio if you want an actual piercing.Their jewelry selection is cute and diverse, so please do stop by to shop, but don’t get pierced here.

My daughter has been wanting her third ear piercing and we found this place on Google because our normal Piercing place was closed on Sundays. Was hoping they could take us as a walk in. We arrived at 4 and they were able toGet us in at 5! All of the staff were so friendly, it was a very clean environment with a great energy. The music was good and every person in the front from check in to just browsing jewelry was so kind and helpful. We had an hour to kill so we walked three blocks to the coolest Starbucks we’ve ever been to. They asked we came back 15 mins before our appt to check in. The check in was a seamless process using a qr code for the release forms and the piercer Meredith was phenomenal! My daughter has high anxiety at times and she made her feel so comfortable. She was meticulous on sterilization and did an outstanding job in telling me daughter every step she was doing and made her feel so comfortable. Our typical place is in Kirkland about 10 mins from house, but making the drive downtown to Capitol Hill was so worth it! My daughter wants more piercings on her ears and we will definitely go back!

Re- opened up my old ear piercing in both of my ear lobes today. Had a tregus piercing placed in my upper right ear lobe. Used titanium piercing studs for each. The piercing for the tregus hurt briefly. Red was amazing!! She explained every step to me. Before starting. She gave me a moment after the tregus piercing. Made sure I was okay before moving on. Took less than an hour. I feel and look so more beautiful with my new ear piercing now!! So beautiful, cute and pretty!!!

The only place I will go for ear piercings from now on. Customer service was top notch, such a cute space, and the cutest jewelry. Such a great experience. I will definitely be back.

If you need earrings or jewelry and dont go to Studs, youve done yourself no favors. The shop slaps

I went into studs to buy a clicker ring for my piercing. They were so helpful, made sure the jewelry was clean, and reminded me of the student discount which was amazing! The jewelry is also so pretty!

I got my ears pierced here a few weeks ago now. One of them isnt healing and now the earring is stuck inside my ear and the back is closed. I went in today when they opened at 11, and they said they were closed for training and turned me away and refused to help me. And now I have to go to the doctors to get the earring removed because Studs does not have anyone answering phones or emails. So disappointed with my visit here and their lack of care.
